Thanks! That's what I wanted to hear.  Grin
102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are transaction IDs on blockchain.info written backwards? on: March 31, 2013, 07:48:35 PM
Seems I was mistaken. I was looking at the txid and didn't realize the byte order was already changed.
103  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Question on using multiple gpus on: March 31, 2013, 07:22:05 PM
Can I mix and match different gpus? I have a 6770 and wanted to add another card. With my budget I can get I higher end card and a psu to match but I want confirmation first that it can be done.
104  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are transaction IDs on blockchain.info written backwards? on: March 31, 2013, 04:11:11 PM
TX ids aren't written backwards. Did you mean the block hash? The block hash goes through an endianess change.

107  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [5 btc bounty] http error from json-rpc in php on: March 06, 2013, 04:10:31 AM
I'm not sure about the second error but your first is caused when bitcoin returns an error. json-rpc can't handle errors and will throw an exception which would stop your entire script. When you try to send coins if there are insufficent funds bitcoin will return an error which will cause json to throw an exception. In this case you should include checks:
Quote
$balance = $bitcoind->getbalance(<account>);
$fee = 0.0005;

if($balance - $fee >= .00000001)
                   $bitcoind->sendto();
else echo "Insufficient Funds";

What was the address? Was it accepted into the litecoin block chain?

It would be great for us poorer folk if fractional drips where available. The sooner I get my coins working for the next dividend the better.
110  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can anybody stall Bitcoin for 72BTC per hour? on: March 02, 2013, 03:59:32 PM
Such an 'attack' would make the price of BTC skyrocket. In order to sustain this 'attack' a lot of bitcoins would need to be purchased. The laws of supply and demand dictates if there is a limited supply and a large demand price will go up. At 72BTC needed per hour the demand for BTC would be enormous. The longer this 'attack' lasts the more bitcoins are in demand the more expensive they become. This would make such an attack unsustainable for even the richest entities. Even though transactions won't be able to process for a while I doubt anybody would complain when seeing the value of their bitcoins skyrocketing.

This is the one that doesn't work with terrawallet. I showed as won and then no payout...

Terrawallet is a bit of a misnomer as you don't get a wallet instead you get an account in a wallet. The site owner owns the wallet. The wallet can contain many accounts. Each account will have it's own address. When coins are sent to an address it will be credited to the account which owns the address. If the address isn't assigned to an account it will be credited to account "", in other words account null. When you use a service like satoshiroulette, where winning are sent back automatically, it is done so by scouring raw transactions to find an address to send the winnings to. Most of the time the address that will be found will correspond to the correct wallet but it will not have an account assigned to it. So the winning will be credited to account null. To use a services that automatically sends back transactions you need to own the actual wallet.

Get the txid and send it to the admin so they can manually check that you sent the coins. With that they should be able to credit your account as I'm quite positive the coins are in the wallet but not in the correct account.
