101  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 26, 2013, 06:25:43 AM
My payment cleared today, good start of the day. Now all I need is a photo of burnin receiving the chips from zefir and I'll be ecstatic for the entire weekend Cheesy

How long should it take to complete all batch1 orders, given that not all chips have been shipped to burnin, I roughly estimated he needs to produce ~500 bitburners.

Did he say he's going to have the boards premade and just slap chips & heat sinks on them?

Can't wait to hold my bitburners in my arms Cheesy

Quote
Timescale:
Shipping could begin after about week of receiving the chips.
Production capability ~1000 modules per week.

Burnin said he expects to receive the chips from Zefir by Monday.

Where to buy CAN-BUS Stacking cable? (besides directly from burnin's site)
Googling "CAN-BUS Stacking Cable" isn't much help.  Some instructions for the
DIY stacking cable kit would be great as well.

Also can anyone recommend a power supply for a rig with 4 20chip boards?

Burnin, can we order and pay for a rig now and change the shipping address later?
I'd like to set the shipping method to "Local Pickup" for the time being but
would I be able to change it later to a physical address and then pay for the shipping
at that time?   When Zefir gets my chips (batch 2) I'll set the shipping address.
The chips are already locked in to ship to you from Zefir.  Smiley

I've just placed an order and it went smoothly.
In answer to my own question above: Yes, you can change the
ship-to address after ordering.  I've tried it and it works.
I've noticed that the originally entered ship-to address still
appears on the invoice though.   As long as the shipping label
printer gets the address from the order (not from the invoice)
then all should be well.

Thanks Burnin for your excellent work!

[edit] I used Bitpay and it worked seamlessly.
Order was marked "Paid in Full" as soon as
payment hit the blockchain (0 confirmations)
Exchange rate was comparable to Bitstamp rate.
I did not change the country or shipping method
so there was no effect on the euro amount.
of the order.   There is no provision to change the
shipping method. [/edit]

Where? I don't see it. On the order page there is no change of shipping address possible.

And the address on "My Account" page, which you can edit, it is just for future orders, since it says "The following addresses will be used on the checkout page by default."

Thanks for pointing that out.   In my happy 'aha' moment I entirely missed that.
I will have to PM Burniin on how to get the ship-to address changed on my order.

Gold Boiling point 5,173°F (2,856°C)
Tungsten Boiling point 10,030°F (5,555°C)
Surface of the sun  (5505 °C)

Safe to say the gold (and or tungsten) should survive.

Any paper-trail however will be toast.

There's no point trying to log in when it's the CloudFlare page you're seeing.

FeatherCoin has been under attack lately and that has grabbed a lot of attention for it.
It seems to have weathered the attacks and thus emerges stronger.

Hello Ukyo, I notice that CAD (Interac) is still mentioned in your signature.
Are you still accepting these kinds of deposits?
I hope not because there is nothing you can buy with Canadian dollars
at Bitfunder.  There are no 'asks' and no 'bids' for Fiat.CAD vs BTC.
