101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support the Use of Bitcoin as a National Currency? on: March 07, 2018, 07:16:31 PM
No, I don't. First of all I don't think that purpose or intention of bitcoin is to be national currency of any country. Bitcoin should be internationl without any specific ties to any specific country.
And second bitcoin is not convenient to become national currency and that economy is based on it. This will not functioning with such high volatility, decentralized system and limited number of coins. Not possible.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin on: March 07, 2018, 03:46:52 PM
In 2017 bitcoin realy had its great moments and some of the peaks and that will be hard to achieve easily.
Still I beleive that 2017 wasn't the best year for bitcoin and that the best is yet to come, we just have to be patient.
103  Economy / Services / Re: Nollycoin Signature Campaign-Up to 180$ per week on: March 07, 2018, 08:19:03 AM
I talked to the CEO and he said that he can't release micropayments from binance
So 20$ and 10$ payment wasn't paid yet
Now, I will for an escrow to send the payment
Or, if you guys want,
You can always claim it this coming week

Could it be paid together with payment for this week if that is easier?

Yes, that would be the best thing to do
And the one that the CEO wants to do

I'm perfectly fine with that, hope this suits to other participants also. Thank you.

107  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: PayPal prosposed a patent to improve transaction times on: March 06, 2018, 07:02:29 PM
I'm not trilled with such solution. This could maybe solve the issue of confirmation time but the method of cotrolling private keys like PayPal proposes I don't like. It seems too centralized, too controled and too unsecure for my taste.
I think PayPal is losing its role and the business is suffering and is trying to find some niche to survive.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: March 06, 2018, 05:52:28 PM
Saving money for children is noble idea, everyone wants for the children to be secured.
Still saving bitcoin and keeping all the funds in the bitcoin maybe isn't the best choice. Bitcoin is highly volatile and it could equaly gain and lose the value. And no one can't tell now how the price is going to be in 10, 20 or more years time.
I would collect bitcoin and from time to time when the price is high exchange it to fiat and then save the fiat money and only smaller part would keep in bitcoin.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: March 06, 2018, 02:45:36 PM
Some people have relay used all opportunities that bitcoin gives, made the money and saving, some even managed to get independent from banks and for them it was a savior. But I also know some who have made wrong estimations, invested too much at the wrong moment and they've lost a great dela of money. For them bitcoin wasn't so lucky. Key is the timing and how skilled are you in using all possibilities that bitcoin brings.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be BTC maximum at this year? on: March 06, 2018, 10:22:01 AM
I don't have the cristal ball to predict the price but based on some my estimations and the "feeling" I could say that the price could reach 20000$ to 25000$ max.
Market is very unpredictible and lot of factors influence it but I don't expect huge nad sudden rise like we had at the end of the last year. I think things will be going more slowly now.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc good experience for young people on: March 05, 2018, 02:10:29 PM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could help young people to get introduced with finances, how to earn and save money.
This is something they can easily understand and learn about. Still there is need to be careful and let them "play" with cryptocurrencies under some kind of surveillance. Young often can't make difference betwen right or wrong and what is too risky or even illegal. Also cryptocurrencies could lead to some kind of addiction, especialy if they use them for gambling, so parents should watch out.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trading is gambling after all on: March 05, 2018, 12:08:08 PM
Trading is risky, you also need some luck but no matter that all I wouldn't say that trading is the same as gambling.
For trading you need some skills and knowledge and as far as I'm concered trading is a job and in financial world is actualy considered to be a job. Also, there is no way that you can influence on gambling and how the final result is going to be but with trading is different, the result depends on you and your skills and ability to estimate the situation.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the online Casino industry help Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2018, 09:31:39 AM
I'm not so sure. At first bitcoin was often related as a currency tied to gambling and illegal activities so that gave it a bad reputation.
After that a lot of efforts has been done for bitcoin to get the status that deserves and for people to see how many other opportunities bitcoin can give. So if you ask me I would say that online casinos are defienetely not the best way how to promote bitcoin and this will not effect it in some significant positive way.
114  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card delivery on: March 05, 2018, 08:20:50 AM
I'm just curious. If this company doesn't deliver card to your country would you be able to use it there?
I mean there is certain reason why the card couldn't be shipped to your country and I suppose that is also related to the service that is or isn't provided in your country. Have you checked that before you order the card through someone else?
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like bitcoin, what's your reason? on: March 04, 2018, 06:03:56 PM
It's a rather silly question. I wouldn't be here if I don't like bitcoin.
This is my third year that I'm dealing with bitcoin and I can say only positive things about it. At the begininig I made some bad decisions but I suppose all of us did in some moment but with time I learned a lot and I got more self confidence.
Bitcoin helped me financialy and got me some new perspective, O got more familiar with modern technologies. I recommend bitcoin to everyone.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekend disaster? on: March 04, 2018, 01:36:20 PM
I have to admit that I wasn't paying much attention to that but still I think this is much more coincidence that some kind of pattern. And I don't think there is some special reason why bitcoin price would fall exactly on weekend, we also see the opposite too, that the price was going up on weekend and any other day. I don't think that bitcoin price movements have anything to do with the days in the week.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at USD20,000 on: March 04, 2018, 10:48:05 AM
The end of first quarter is close, only a short time away, so I don't think the bitcoin price will reach 20000$.
I'm not saying it's impossibe but I'm more keen to theory that bitcoin price will stay somwhere between 11000$ or 15000$ at max. And it's very hard to predict what will influence the price, market has its own behaviour model and I don't think that politics can significantly influence on it.
118  Economy / Services / Re: Bank account in Malta. on: March 04, 2018, 09:59:53 AM
Isn't it that if you open account with LeuPay you get account in Malta with IBAN and everything? And you can do it online, it doesn't cost anything. Also you get Master prepaid debit card.
Or maybe you are speaking of classic Master credit card? Anyway, you should give more details about this service you are offering.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is best for anonymity? on: March 03, 2018, 07:18:26 PM
I agree, using cash is still the best way to keep anonimity.
At first it semed that cryptocurrencies are solution but lately bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies have lost a great deal of anonimity due to new techniques of tracing transactions and also due to legal and regulatory obligations of exchanges and other services.
I think we are all sensitive when privacy is involved but I'm afraid that bitcoin isn't solution for that.
120  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Rumored yobit founder arrested on: March 03, 2018, 12:15:32 PM
I can't say I'm surprised. This would also explain very bad running of business that Yobit had. Still this doesn't have to mean that Yobit will stop existing, some new leader could overtake it or it could be sold.
Nevertheless I quit doing business with Yobit a long time ago because of very poor service they were providing and because of many scam accusations.
