Very much so. I have no access to credit cards so buying stuff online has to be done either with bitcoin or gift cards, which I buy using bitcoin. Also, using prepaid virtual cards. it's all possible only because of bitcoin for me.

Hi. I had an US free spotify account, decided to try the 3 months for $1 after they sent me an email, used my neteller virtual prepaid card and since those cards are UK issued, spotify changed my account's country to the uk. Now, I want to switch it back to US, but the only way to do this, is using an US issued card or a US Paypal. my paypal is not from the US, which is why I'm trying to find a way to get a US prepaid card. most of the virtual cards that you can fund with bitcoins are either UK, Europe or Gibraltar issued. Does anybody know of a way to get an US issued prepaid card? Thanks!

I noticed that changing your password lead to some people here thinking your account was sold, but I still think you should do it. Not only here, but with every important account you own. change your passwords frequently and when possible, activate 2FA. sadly, we don't have that option here yet, which makes changing your password even more important. and of course, never use the same password with different accounts.

I don't see USD collapsing any time soon. it could end up being replaced by something else, but it won't collapse overnight like some people like to believe. it'll be a slow process that will consume and destroy economies all over the world before having any real effect on US economy. It will happen, but calling it a "collapse" is not accurate. more like transformation. who knows, maybe eventually the US goverment will realize they can't keep printing money forever and create some kind of hybrid USD-crypto currency?

You doubled your money in a week by trading? that's either extremely impressive, or not true. Other than gambling, I don't know other way of doubling your money in such small period of time. I mean, if you managed to do this, what's stopping you from sticking to it and let's say, doubling your money again every few weeks? Nothing else is going to make you money that fast, believe me. Even expert traders can't manage to do it.

I read a while ago about matched betting. In case you don't know about it, is a method you use to take advantage of "free bets" online gambling websites offer. it's a little tricky to understand, but the basic idea is that you bet on an event with two outcomes, in two different websites. you place one bet against the other, so no matter who wins, you'll win in one website and lose at the other. after this, you are awarded a free bet, and then do the same thing. but this time, since you are playing with the website's money instead of yours, you end up making a profit no matter who wins. it's a 100% risk free method. which means, you aren't really gambling, because there is no chance of losing. The only way you can lose money is due to human error. (In case you want to read all the details about it, this is one of the best guides I've found: http://matchedbettingblog.com/betting-exchanges-explained/) The problem is, basically all these offers of "free bets" are either for UK citizens, or from websites that don't take take bitcoins. which brings me to my question, what gambling websites do you know that offer free bets for new users AND that take bitcoins? the only one I could find was http://betballer.com/, which offers 50 usd bonus for first deposit. also, they have some weird terms and conditions that I don't really understand: In order to clear the rollover requirement of the bonus, players must rollover 5 times the deposit + bonus on odds greater than 2.00 in the sportsbook within 180 days from making their first deposit. this would work but would be a one time proffit thing only. and if I understood correctly, for matched betting to be profitable, you need a constant stream of these kind of offers. sadly, there doesn't seem to be more of them online. so I guess only lucky UK citizens can exploit this gold mine
