Please verify, thanks.

The escrow address for DPony13 (the seller) and webr3 (the buyer) transaction would be:

1GMQXoozAnxBKNXDQbk178GFZC9gus2wUf - Bitcoin

Please state and agree to the conditions (It is 8000 XRP for 1.33 BTC) beforehand.

If possible, GPG sign your agreement to prevent any discrepancies later on and please ship with tracking to prevent problems during delivery. GPG signing is not a requirement, and any verbal exchange in the form of private messages or posts on bitcointalk.org, or email is effective as a ‘statement of condition’.

The fine print:
This Contract is solely generated for the purpose of facilitating the transaction between the seller and the buyer, which refers to the pseudonyms used on bitcointalk.org.
The escrow holder, John, assumes and gives no liability or guarantees on the satisfaction of all parties involved, although he agrees to mediate and facilitate the deal to the fullest extent he is capable of.  On the event that any problems arises, he will release the escrow to whichever party that presents him with the most convincing proof and/or after an open discussion with others or theymos.
The verbal acceptance by both parties (or the failure to reject) and the sending of Bitcoins to the escrow address above constitutes the acceptance of the terms and conditions stated, and the activation of this Contract.

Please understand that I am assuming the risk of holding the escrowed Bitcoins, and I am using my own time to facilitate this transaction.
If possible, please tip me at 1NB1KFnFqnP3WSDZQrWV3pfmph5fWRyadz .

Thank you.

You went quiet after I agree'd to escrow. I gave you an offer better than the market, and I'm a very trusted XRP seller and buyer who works in units of millions normally. Very strange that you didn't take the best offer, from a trusted trader, with escrow.

Hold on Im waiting for john

Okay, you may find the fee outweighs the transaction. I'm happy to make the deal public and put all details in the thread, that way my (and your) reputation hangs on the actions.

Simply send the XRP to rnW7DHtmZGJk4uhGTSU2BW3iPCPWb2xegg and give me your BTC address, the second it's received I'll send the 1.33 BTC to you and post the details here.

For the record, I offered DPony13 1.33 BTC for 8000 XRP.

You're looking at about 0.1889 BTC per 1000 at this time
105  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 100,000 XRP's with BTC on: June 10, 2013, 09:36:13 AM
We got everything set up, but when it came to the escrow part, he logged and disappeared.

Good to know, thanks for the heads up.
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WTB 100,000 XRP's with BTC on: June 09, 2013, 09:19:57 PM
I've PM'd you, can do a better rate now that BTC has adjusted over 100, just let me know when you're ready and I'll give you the exact rate at transaction time.
107  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have 10 btc accepting paypal... on: June 09, 2013, 09:04:45 PM
I really hope you don't get scammed because of charge backs, are you sure you can't do a bank transfer and then deposit money into paypal? People are going to see this and see a opportunity to scam...if you can't do what I mentioned, I wish you the best of luck.
What I wanted to do is buy some things off of ebay.. and I tried to deposit with bank and my bank wont do it.. then i bought a moneypak from a user here.. and paypal asked for my social and all the other info and they declined me. Weird but it's cool. I want to be perfectly safe so lets hope so!

PM the ebay user and ask them if they'll accept bitcoins.

Price updated!
Now THAT'S a nice price! I offer 30k XRP for 40 BTC, keep the change. Please contact me for the BTC address and send me your Ripple address.

I can offer several million XRP at this rate of 725XRP = 1 BTC. Just PM
110  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I want to buy some ripples! Send my the offer you would like to have in PM! on: June 06, 2013, 08:32:40 AM
Okay let's clear up what a "fair" price for XRP is.

XRP is a different beast, because there is a limited supply, but you still get fairly natural markets, especially the BTC/XRP one. http://webr3.org/apps/xrp/charts/btc-xrp

To get a fair price, you want to look at the depth of the market, the price at 1,000,000 XRP on either side. Currently this equates to 5700 on one side, and 7000 on the other side.

The middle of this is 6350, then traditional secondary market sales would be circa +/- 5%.

So if you're buying XRP expect to be getting ~6030 per BTC, and if you're selling XRP expect to be getting 1 BTC per 6660 XRP.

Anything between that range is a very good deal.

Obviously in reality there are other factors, such as the general trend of the market, and whether there is more weight on one side than the other, but for a fairly evenly spread market, the above is a good way to approach a deal.

Hope that helps.

Selling again, PM
112  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB BTC-e/Bitstamp USD codes with Skrill (Moneybookers) on: June 05, 2013, 04:22:34 PM
Paying 99% value $0.99 per $1, unless you want escrow then you cover fees.

Buying several thousand USD worth.

Looking for BTCe or Bitstamp codes.
113  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB: BTC with Skrill (Moneybookers) on: June 05, 2013, 04:03:11 PM
Looking to buy 30-35 BTC with Skrill, paying MTGox weighted average -5%, -4% for quantities over 10.

Skrill escrow is fine but we'd need to adjust price accordingly to cover fees.

Will send payment on 0 confirmations.

Thanks in advance.

selling again
116  Other / Meta / Request: Alternative Currency Exchange on: May 30, 2013, 08:25:49 AM
The alternative currency section is getting very unwieldy with the amount of posts and replies, alt currency exchanges keep getting moved in to that section and getting lost in the noise.

Please create an Alternative Currency Exchange section as a child of Alts or Currency Exchange.

Generally I'm a little confused as to why alt currency exchanges keep getting moved out of currency exchange, after all it's called currency exchange and is for dealing with exchanging currencies, one of those currencies will always be something other than bitcoin, and alt->btc is the most common form of alt currency exchange.

Please advise and address.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: May 29, 2013, 09:41:12 PM
There are 3 things at play here:

1) Ripple the concept
2) Ripple the opencoin implementation, "rippled"
3) XRP the currency of (2).

(1) It's a good system which some people will love, some people will hate, it compliments other currencies at it's core, but it competes with many financial systems and financial services offered by companies.
(2) Who knows, it's not generally opensource yet, available on request / to gateways, I know people with the source and they think it does the job but the code could be better quality (poor as in coding standards, not poor as in vulnerable)
(3) XRP is just a currency which is a utility of (2), it can be valued in different ways, either at face value, at what people are willing to pay, and as a utility of the network where 1 XRP is the value of 10k-100k transactions on the public ledger.

Ultimately, (1) and (3) are just different approaches.

(2) is the only real talking point, and time will tell, but it's worth noting the route they are taking and that they are dealing with businesses and investors, as a company they are transparent, even if the software currently isn't.

All sold.
119  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS: 800,000 XRP Fixed Price on: May 29, 2013, 01:53:59 PM
will u do 20k chunks

Potentially, but then you've asked me questions everytime I (or anybody) has offered XRP on bitcointalk, and you've constantly changed between buying and selling, and tried to change the price. Remember I've even given you XRP just to stop you messaging me constantly with various random offers to buy and sell at strange rates.

If you want 20k at a time, at this rate, then that's fine, just PM and we'll sort it out.
