101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW CURRENCY] Maria 2.0 was banned, here is her proof. The birth of Bytecoin! on: April 10, 2013, 10:21:20 PM
can someone fill me in, I heard that byte coin might be fairly invulnerable to 51% attacks with the BTC retargeting

is this true, can someone give me the rundown?  I just lost alot of faith in alternate coins from seeing my investment in terracoin cut in half with the system froze.  it was whacker than whack, but I have heard bte isn't as affected by 51% attacks is this true, can someone explain this to me real quick?

much appreciated
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terracoin Fork on: April 10, 2013, 10:16:04 PM
I don't think normal has been defined for terracoin
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terracoin Fork on: April 10, 2013, 09:58:11 PM
nice thanks for showing me this, I wish his/her presence was more accessable, I am on github and couldn't find this before.  he actually seems pretty intelligent
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QQQ] TRC/DEV CHANGE TO BTC RETARGET OR SOMEONE DO A FORK IN GITHUB on: April 10, 2013, 09:35:59 PM
ok I made a public thread calling for a fork, we'll see what happens
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Terracoin Fork on: April 10, 2013, 09:28:22 PM
I peg leg space goat

calling for patch to be made by a coder
e.g. sunnyking or Trade Fortress

to adopt the BTC target and for all TRC miners to adopt this.  boys we are hijacking terracoin and sailing it

terracoin's developers seem to be out of touch.  and the ship is ready for sailing.  so ARG

all ye who are in say I

and I have bought trollcoin.org - will collect donations into a transparent wallet and developers will be compensated for their fine work from this transparent wallet.

I just bought trollcoin.org, a chatbox will be up shortly and we will take action there.

the idea of a pirated coin I think will do very well.  and we'll make fun of terracoin's website and I think we will make the best coin evverr.  just put some good heads on it.

we'll need to change the wallet to say trollcoin.  with the trollface on it.  mwahaha

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QQQ] TRC/DEV CHANGE TO BTC RETARGET OR SOMEONE DO A FORK IN GITHUB on: April 10, 2013, 09:17:41 PM
I'm not sure I would really get onboard a fork.  I would probably follow whatever the exchanges do.

But, it would be interesting to see what would happen if everybody (or many people) went back a couple versions, to before all the "fixes," and started mining a new forked chain from that point.

Personally, at the moment, I am not having a problem with Terracoin.  Things looked weird to me when the new difficulty caught on and the block generation rate shot sky high, but it looks stable to me, now.  Maybe it's just me.

terracoin is going through like 200 blocks every 10 minutes.  way too fast.  coins will flood the market.  maybe its fine
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QQQ] TRC/CRAZY_RABBIT SO ARE YOU GOING TO CHANGE TO BTC RETARGET YET? on: April 10, 2013, 08:58:33 PM
For like the eleven millionth time- I am not the TRC DEV. Talk to him about it!

The difficulty swung like crazy- (Asic on and off for fun?) but is there any reason to think that wild difficulty swings are a bad thing?

DEV is uncontainable I did put this on GIT HUB and he /she just closed it

You appear as the only one to be able to contact DEV

Unless you can point me to DEV here!!!

I think you may not understand the code and consequential issues ( my understanding is also imperfect)...

The time may be here to Fork TRC if dev will not change the code...Someone will get the patch together and put it on Github and see who adopts it

I'm out at an enormous loss.  whoever the dev is, is fired.  crazy rabbit you have a pirate hat on, you'll fit right in on this ship.

jubilex

are we taking it over.  can we change the platform with exchanges still trading TRC?  I bought Trollcoin.org for the purpose of firing terracoin and turning it into trollcoin.  and making it a functional coin.  but I am not the most genius coder, I've only got about a year of coding experience,

with trollcoin.org I'm going to set up a donation jar for trollcoin, and the wallet will be transparent and everyone involved with the development of the project will get a cut of the donations.  not sure how it will work, but I'm open to suggestions.

let's rally the pirates, I'm setting up a chatbox on trollcoin.org to start the show
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QQQ] TRC/CRAZY_RABBIT SO ARE YOU GOING TO CHANGE TO BTC RETARGET YET? on: April 10, 2013, 08:12:04 PM
um

1)pretty sure btc-e is corrupt and manipulating the markets.  they ban me for really suspiscious reasons.  not spamming, just posting links to threads with important info on them

2)are we going to pirate terracoin into trollcoin?  part of me thinks we should.  I think it would make alot of people happy.

3)today is crazy
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TRC] new 0.1.3-30 mandatory update on: April 10, 2013, 06:26:01 PM
we are going through like 100 blocks or more a minute now?  wtf

how is that healthy?  somebody is making tons of terracoins and gonna flood the market with them price is gonna collapse way to go terracoin
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [TRC|PPC|FRC] vPool.us - 1% fee, PPLNS - scam alert- on: April 10, 2013, 01:53:41 PM
i'll give a terracoin for anyone who mines through the next two blocks of terracoin Smiley
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PPC on btc-e.com on: April 10, 2013, 01:52:39 PM
how about just pcoin
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll give a terracoin for any miner hopping on TRC network for next two blocks on: April 10, 2013, 01:45:39 PM
and anyone else who wants to throw in some bounty feel free to add it to this thread
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I'll give a terracoin for any miner hopping on TRC network for next two blocks on: April 10, 2013, 01:44:54 PM
we just need to get two blocks mined at high difficulty before the difficulty is fixed for good at block 101631
we are working on 101629 right now, with not enough miners.

so if you could mine for the next 12 hours on tRC, not only is it about to surge once the next two blocks are done

I have 20 TRC to dish out as bounty, just take a screenshot, and I'll send the first 20, 1 TRC, as soon as i get my confirmations up in order.

trc  worth something like $1 right now.

thanks amigos
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QQQ] TRC working update? on: April 10, 2013, 01:39:33 PM
these last 2 blocks sure are taking their sweet time.  we need miners!  I'll give a terracoin to whoever hops on and mines for one hour!  bounty
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / need help on: April 10, 2013, 12:20:15 PM
pardon me, it may seem like a joke, but

the TRC developers have potentially implemented asic immunity in a patch,

but it goes into effect in 2 blocks with a pretty high difficulty from the last asic 51% attack,(it'll take at least 12 hours at current mining rate) and miners are being scared off.

if anyone could spare an hour mining TRC please let me know I'll hook you up with a little btc if you get us out of this faster.

I don't mean to spam I am just seeing that we don't have enough mining power to make it over our last hump

thanks amigos

117  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: $504000 per day on: April 10, 2013, 12:12:59 PM
hey friends, TRC was hit by one of the asics and is lagging and they put in a historical fix, and we just need to get through 2 Blocks, and we will be out of our bind.  but the increased difficulty has scared the miners away, if anyone could spare any mining power for half an hour for the TRC cause, it would be so helpful right now.

thank you

and I know TRC doesn't belong over on BTC
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [QQQ] TRC working update? on: April 10, 2013, 12:05:55 PM
yeah the code has some ingenius mechanisms actually I was quite surprised to see, because of the rarity of TRC, and as low of a price it is, many things could happen if there were a fix and then a TRC hype.

it could surge to unprecedented levels man.  like LTC circa 1 week ago.  and beyond because there's so much fewer trc.  what a volotile coin.

I have been sitting teetering on immortality and demise, with TRC, on the edge of a cliff on a mountain made of gold, if we crash, we crash hard, if we make it up we make it up hard.  its exciting times.

it all depends on the next 24-48 hours-  and then trc will be traded on crypto-trade.com

and experience yet another surge from another audience demographic...  for being the rarest coin, if they can make it functional I believe we will have a ridiculous ride so hold on to your butts
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TRC] new 0.1.3-30 mandatory update on: April 10, 2013, 11:51:15 AM
celkaris i think you're right.

i wonder how we could get the atteention of miners
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TRC] new 0.1.3-30 mandatory update on: April 10, 2013, 11:24:11 AM
we need miners!  big one's 3 more blocks and we're THERE!
