102  Economy / Service Announcements / CryptoAlley The Crypto Worlds Online Marketplace Buy-Sell Using Your Favorite Co on: January 05, 2014, 01:58:00 AM

This is a brand new site being released to the public today.  We have familiar eBay type formats for selling your items using both Digital Currency or standard PayPal.  It's taken a lot of work with Coinpayments.net to make this happen and as far as is known this is the first auction site that offers sellers the ability to sell their items and accept payment in the crypto of their choice.  It is taking digital currency and putting it into the realm of real business in a real world setting.

For those selling, you have the option of a standard auction, Buy It Now, Make Offer, or any combination of those.  If you are looking to obtain a service or goods at a good price or have one to offer, there are Reverse auctions that can be used.

Billing to the sellers is done on a 30 day basis which means you can start selling today.  Fees which are very small and just enough to run the site can be viewed here.  Sorry, but some of the fees are in place to keep areas from being over run.  They are Main Page Featured - $0.10, Category Featured - $0.10, Digital Download - $0.20, and End Of Auction - $0.25 regardless of the sale price of the item.  Again these are there to keep certain areas from being over run.

All fees though except End Of Auctions are suspended till Jan. 18 2014

As the site grows, so will the features and options available. For now it is a place to have some fun with this new thing called CryptoCommerce.  It's a place where everyone can participate in both the buying and selling of goods with digital currency as the means of payment.

There are a couple auctions at the site now that use LTCT testnet.  In both the auctions and the Help section are guides to LTCT Testnet to get a feel for how this works. You can use it as sellers to test anything you want.

Visit the site, sign up using a secure ssl connection and browse around. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at admin@cryptoalley.com about the site and with help at Coinpayments.net you can use their contact form.

BTW, if you happen to see us on Coinpayments.net list of stores, ignore the LTC only that is there.  You the sellers decide what you will accept. I'm working

Updates and new features will be posted at CryptoAlley.com in the news section and all members will be informed by newsletter.  First 2 projects are conversion chart and downloadable bulk lister similar to eBay's Turbo Lister.

Current Site News-This will be updated when we announce developments on the site

Welcome to CryptoAlley

Welcome to CryptoAlley. We are pleased and excited to bring you the first ever site where the casual to full time users can buy and sell almost anything from everyday items to hard to find or rare items. The process uses familiar types of sales venues such as Auction, Buy It Now, Make Offer, and Reverse Auction.

For the sellers, the listing process is something that both new sellers as well as the seasoned seller will find intuitive and easy to navigate. Listings can be done immediately when you have completed the fill in the blank listing process or saved as a draft for listing in the future. The choice is yours. We are currently working on CryptoLister, a bulk listing application for Windows desktop that will give you full control of your listings.

The only difference to the selling process, as a seller you will choose what digital currency you will accept for your listing. There are currently 32 digital currencies supported along with LTCT(Litecoin Testnet) and a Paypal passthrough feature, with more digital currencies being added on a regular basis.

For the bidders/buyers, it's as simple as placing your bid on an item and if you win the auction, just follow the simple instructions for checkout using the digital currency payment gateway and your item will be on its way. No need to sign up for an account to make your payments, copy and paste the payment address into your digital wallet, enter the amount, and click send. That's it. Once your payment has the required confirmations in the chain, you will be notified in your CryptoVault under Won Items. Sellers are notified they have been paid in their CryptoVault by checking Sold Items and have your item quickly on its way to you.

This is the exciting world of CryptoCommerce for everyone and by registering for an account now, you can be one of the first to experience this new world. Register now and start selling your items. Register now and start using the digital currency you have to get something you want.

About Our Fees

To kick things off, all fees are waived for the first 30 days, till Feb. 6, 2014 except the End of auctin fee which is only $0.10 USD, regardless of the sale amount up to 100,000,000 CFCU(Cryptographic-Fiat Currency Units). You are free to use as many or as few features as you want.

Register Now and start selling your items today. New items are added daily and new sellers have the benefit of reduced competition for their items. Spread the word and begin selling and buying at CryptoAlley today.

Buyer/Seller Dispute Resolution Added

Everyone tries their best to make sure that transactions go as planned, that's what it's all about. However at times, things do not transpire smoothly and differences between the buyer and seller must be mediated. For that we have put in place a Dispute Resolution system that allows the buyer and seller to work out their differences. A moderator from the site will make a final determination once the buyer and seller present all the facts surrounding the transaction.

Having many years experience with eBay as both a seller and sometimes buyer, there are features that are important to the online marketplace experience and we are making those features available as quickly as possible. Next is Feedback importation for the sellers so buyers know they are dealing with top rated vendors.

Coinpayments.net didn't even send DOGE to get a vote.  https://www.coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=supported_coins  It's available as a currency of choice and will be added to CryptoAlley.com shortly.  I've been getting the loose ends tied up on the site and am in the process of having an SSL cert transfered.  Stop by, start selling and spread the word.

What are you talking about?
From 1.January DOGE is accepted by CoinPayments.net

I've had my head inside scripts and coding since before new year's and just looked at the list again today.  That's good though, not complaining.

Some interesting DOGE stats: (not to be taken as trueth, but as approximate)

http://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-dogecoin-addresses.html

I wonder, whos the DOGE Godfather?

This doesn't count those that have multiple addresses in one wallet.  For example I', in the .6% class but none of my addresses are there.

/currency_converter.php doesn't return value in BTC.
/registry.php doesn't appear to function. (returns blank page, does not register credentials)
Work in progress.  The converter will be gone temporarily till the full script for convert is in place for the digital currency, very complicated, and register.php does work.  What was the problem you had with it?
Problem with the confirm on registration.  Let em find out what's going on.

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / (ANN) eBay Style marketplace for Crypto Currency Sales and Buys on: January 02, 2014, 08:57:25 PM
Not going to be real explicit about this, but go over to http://www.bargenzville.com and sign up for a pre launch extravaganza.

To be simple, it has all the qualities of eBay and a lot less hassle.  It's really a community run marketplace.

There's a lot of things we want, but being a poor site we can only open so much at a given time.
Read the terms, it's as is where is.

Anyway, check it out and see if you like it?

Sell or Buy at bargenzville.com

BTW, There's nothing there now, soooooo, get selling!!!
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.3 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: December 31, 2013, 02:21:04 PM
does anyone know what happened to the Doge Road?

I hoped it was going to be the trigger which would blow dogecoin to the moon  Undecided

Watch http://www.CoinPayments.net for the next vote.  Cast it for DOGE and get amazed.  There are some powerful venues begin developed for digital currency in general that could change the way the world views all the coins.  Release is scheduled within a couple weeks.  The coding and security need cleaned up before they are made public.  2014 is the year for crypto Wink

See, that's the thing, people need to start making more and more services that accept Crypto-currency, only trouble is it's rather hard for a business to adopt a currency that fluctuates so much in price. And I don't blame them. Until these currencies become less volatile I'm afraid legitimate services won't be accepting them, and the only thing they will really be good for is speculation.

Hopefully though as more coins are mined the price will stabilize a bit

There is something in the works for the entire crypto world.  Launch day is not that far away.  I have spoken with the devs and it promises to be a blockbuster.

READ THIS

There are retards who think they can sell 1million of them for 1btc.
There will be 4X more Moon Then Doge. Doge ( a well established coin now) can be had for 0.5btc/million. (2X less!)
So Is Moon really worth in 2-3hours since it was launched 8X as Much as doge? and give it market cap valuation of around  $100 million already? REALLY?

Well If you are really thinking about buying them for those prices - THINK AGAIN, you will loose your pants in next couple of hours when everyone Is finally aware about this and come back to senses.

you dont understand shit about crypto market! Roll Eyes
shouldnt LTC be 1/4 of BTC? it is not
shouldnt NMC be 2x price of BTC? (its more rare..bla bla bla) it is not
Shouldnt price of rare metals be higher then gold? it is not

Its not about quantity or rareness... People make the price of cryptos...banks make price of fiat!

now go buy your self a good economics book while you mine some moon, doge , whatever.

G

You could use some lessions too. Why inflation/ deflation? Just from thin air?

Ummmmm, yep.  The central bank/Fed/IMF do it all the time.  They decide the size of the money supply which effects the price of goods and services.  Throw the economics books away because they cloud the truth.  That's why crypto is great.  What if there was a market that people could easily buy and sell using crypto.  Would that not ultimately determine the true value without the influence of of centralized control?
