Reminder that we still have 0.5% fee on DeepOnion!! Come take advantage of it!!

I don't think there is a reson to buy vega unless we get some huge improvements from miner developers along with amd team
Ya the hashrate is not high enought to justify building a rig with them

In theory I like the new rule that from now on the posts must be of good quality to be valid, but in the practice this is introducing an element of arbitrarity - how to distinguish good quality from bad quality? Rules should be as objective as possible, once they get subjective you open the doors to criticism.
The main issue is that we're trying to build value within the Threads - I mean, we only need so many "Wow, look at the price" or "Can't wait for my free Onions" posts. I just finished reviewing a lot of accounts, and can attest to the utter garbage people post. Its the patterns. For example, Day before the drop, 10x posts are made, very low quality, and in most instances, those people aren't involved in the community at all. It isn't that we're going over each post with a fine tooth comb, it really is just about ensuring there's at least some quality in what is being posted. Heck, sometimes the posts are poor, but their activity is positive, and so that can balance it out. It's really the combo of poor posts + Zero activity in the community + old signatures that we're weeding out. I agree, it can be hard to validate the content of everyone's posts tho

Usualy always is like that when bitcoin going up. When btc stop then altcoin should go to their prevoius state. But it takes time
Ya there will be a BTC correction, and hopefully Alts will start going up

Are these shipping yet?
if so what is the timeline on units that may have shipped
and/or
future batches ship dates?
curious
Inno's batch 1 does not ship until October. On their web site they are setting up for pre-orders for batch 2 with a November ship date. So we are still talking quite some time yet before they start shipping. And we don't know whether or not it will meet the specs right?

30gh @750w is way over optimistic. knowing how A4 ended in fiasco, my guess is it's going to be 20gh @ 1500w i say this because they haven't tested the chip yet and everything they advertise is based on simulation tests.
....And it will sound like you have moved next to an airport. The fan on the PSU @ 1600w alone will sound like an industrial park. And 1600w is probably low for 85% efficiency. Good luck finding a power supply, and with the household noise complaints. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Your girlfriend does not care what DASH is. She cannot hear the TV. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Fucking kek, this is so true. My girlfriend hates that humming/screaming noise coming from my other ASIC

It's very nice to see the price increase. The 10% wallet withdrawing limitation seems to be keeping the price up and preventing people from selling. Hopefully there won't be any major selloffs and the coin continues to rise.
Ya at least we know theres about 35 more weeks without sell off. I think once the airdrop finished there might be a sell off but I still think in the long term it will rise

Port 3072 has now a lower starting diff allowing for better consistency of accepted shares.
Dont forget to update your port to 3071 or 3072 if you haven't already

AMD VEGA : Same price than nVidia GTX 1080 (VEGA64) or GTX 1070 (VEGA56) Hashrate lower than a GTX 1080 (non Ti) and power consumption twice. Noise and heat production are very high.
And probablt some big bugs with they BIOS.
Who want to buy these shitGPUs ?
Top kek this sucks. I hope youll be able to sell it on ebay or something

Some reviewer said that the hashrate is like on the Frontier Edition(36mhs?) which is nowhere near 70-100 Mh/s
Highly doubtful. Workstation cards are never as good as gaming models for mining. Workstation cards use a different memory cache intended to fit large files. The Vega FE uses a HBC. High-Bandwidth Cache Controller
The state of the art memory system on Radeon Vega Frontier Edition GPUs removes the capacity limitations of traditional GPU memory. Thanks to automatic, fine-grained memory movement controlled by the high-bandwidth cache controller, Radeon Vega Frontier Edition processors enable creators and designers to work with much larger, more detailed models and assets in real time. https://pro.radeon.com/en-us/product/radeon-vega-frontier-edition/my test on rx 64... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs17.postimg.org%2Fvviiqdwn3%2F20733012_10209647593128458_104420289_n.png&t=663&c=H6ZH_uAMxtHjjQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs17.postimg.org%2Fs0jq1k2v3%2F20750442_10209647593088457_1751268948_n.png&t=663&c=Qc45tm9rhbZ1nA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs17.postimg.org%2F6fendy64f%2F20750741_10209647593048456_235856514_n.png&t=663&c=fIQbmw8AMpPHHQ) I hope this is real, and hopfully the drivers/overclock will make it better

Did anyone hear anything about the Vega 64 hashrate?

brutum-pool.com has updated some settings to allow for AMD sgminer to work properly. This means that you will need to change to port you are pointing too, and maybe add an option to your CPU miner. the cpu miner provided ( link) does something weird with the difficulty and you must set the -m option to 256. See the example below cpuminer-gw64-corei7 -m 256 -a xevan -o stratum+tcp://brutum-pool.com:3071 -u <address> -p x Now you will be able to mine with the sgminer (For AMD cards)Please note that it is in beta. And you can use the following command line option to start it sgminer -o stratum+tcp://brutum-pool.com:3072 -u <address> -p x -I 18 Port 3071 - CPU Miners Port 3072 - GPU Miners After updating the settings - Port 8017 GPU The worker does not work Address Shares Invalid shares Efficiency Hashrate AGFjzoE38vGfghCMNTZb69ubCykH7EbgSF 2048 24 14.28% 57.27 MH s):1.714M (avg):1.708Mh/s | A:10 R:68 HW:0 WU:6.022/m ST: 2 SS: 0 NB: 20 LW: 885 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to brutum-pool.com (stratum) diff 2.000 as user AGFjzoE38vGfghCMNTZb69ubCykH7EbgSF Block: 2cbe5dc4... I will have to disable port 8017 since the network difficulty is about 0.2 and the lowest difficulty on port 8017 is 2. So you should be able to mine on port 3072. The diff will start low but should adjust on its own.
