102  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal for AI Integration with BitcoinTalk forum on: May 01, 2023, 09:01:18 PM

Overall, the integration of AI technology with the BitcoinTalk forum has the potential to greatly improve the user experience and enhance the community's ability to share knowledge and insights. I would love to hear your thoughts on this proposal and any ideas you may have for its implementation.

Based on Nutilda's assessment this post by OP is an AI-generated post I could have voted for AI to be included here in Bitcointalk if a human recommended it based on his opinion and assessment of course AI will create very compelling reasons that's what AI does, we will stop thinking how good human in terms of analyzing prices and predictions if we allow AI to rule this forum.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Vincent Astrolabio WBO 118lbs Title (May 13) on: April 30, 2023, 11:44:44 PM
I voted Astrolabio to win this match because of both fighter's previous fights, I made it a reference because a boxer's last and previous fights will have an impact on his coming fight, so Astrolabio is coming on big wins against a Russian, and a former champion Rigondeaux, while Moloney is coming on a devastated knock out loss against Inoue, so one is coming from a winning momentum while the other is from recovery so I prefer the one coming from good wins than coming from a knockout, I hope my prediction will come true.
Anyway, both fighters deserve to be a champion because they both have good records.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how exchanges list news crypto tokens on: April 30, 2023, 11:10:22 PM

i want to know,
how do crypto exchanges list new tokens, what terms and condition or what type of document are needed to list a token .
i really doesn't know anything so may be the written terms may seem off the points

There's a link to list your token on every exchange, don't believe in people that offer to help you get listed your project for a fee, there are a lot of these kinds of people on Telegram and also here on Bitcointalk, top exchanges like Binance and Kucoin have strict requirements that a token needs to accomplish and you need big funds to list on these top exchanges, there are low-level exchanges that a token can list their token but from there the token should have the momentum to acquired big volumes in preparation for listing in the big exchanges.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: April 30, 2023, 10:16:00 PM
Quite a lot have happened in the crypto investment market with the long run of a bear market in 2022, as a result of the various market crisis ranging from ftx bankruptcy and Luna crash that affect the market for a long time, before the present recovery, many crypto analysts such as myself are confused as for what the level of confidence of investors towards altcoins in this period. Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?

I still believe in altcoins but altcoins that have proven their standing in the market for a long period of time, altcoins like Ethereum, Binance Solana, and other altcoins cannot be ignored in their contribution to the adoption of Cryptocurrency, there are altcoins that bring a lot of things in the table and they are here as long as their developers keep updating their platform and community support them, my confidence percentage is 80% but of course, Bitcoin has my 100% confidence.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 30, 2023, 09:51:11 PM
No method works 100% and winning is never a guarantee in casino games. But with little odds you can make $100 with $2k. But i will still ask why risk all $2k on a single stake when gambling is not a game of certainty. The worst loss is when you stake so much for little profit only to lose everything.I will rather prefer you split the amount into four equal halves then make stakes at different times on the same game.

OP is asking on a daily basis, you can make $100 maybe for two succeeding days but I doubt you can hit it 3 to 5 days in a row, you are extremely lucky if you have that run, the house edge will find its way to beat you especially if you are extending your sessions, the longer you play the risk that you are going to lose, if you're unlucky you could lose everything.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: April 30, 2023, 09:32:04 PM

I'm unsure of the political situation in the Philippines but in general I wouldn't trust any governmental involvement in the gambling system.  They know how to use every legal loophole to get the advantage.  As it stands the house has the odds if ypu add political power over those odds only increase.  I'd steer clear of that platform.

That is why other countries have strict laws about who should be the owners of casinos whether it's offline or online in a corrupt country politicians can use their political power to advance their casino platform, its unfair competition if you have politicians as owners as they can bribe the regulators because of his connection.
Filipinos have a love for cock fighting which is why it easily become very popular but because of its controversy, the government stopped its operations.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: April 30, 2023, 03:16:55 PM
It's very important not to be comfortable that you will be every session its ok to have confidence in playing but not all days are the same, there are times that you will 3 to 5 in a row and then lose 2 to 4 times in a row, there's no such thing as a lucky charm in gambling or born lucky, if you are comfortable thinking that way you will be in trouble this is the kind of mindset that never accept losses, so always check your mindset.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc price preeiction on: April 30, 2023, 01:37:49 PM
Btc price prediction 40,000$ top this year.
Then 11,000$ then start of bull run year 2024 up to 100,000$ +  bull run will end 2026- 2027
By that time 100k+ is Coming for sure.

So from $40k it will go down to $11k what could be the reason why it would go down that low, this one is questionable given that we are doing great, will there be a big FUD coming like exchange hacks or big DeFi project collapsing like in the case of FTX.
We cannot just rely on past data because every data has an incident or occurrence behind it, I will only believe that Bitcoin will hit $100k if there's big news or events that will have a dramatic effect on the market.
110  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie are wearing avatar in their accounts on: April 30, 2023, 11:44:36 AM

This seems like a discrimination to me. Why would an account be exclude from the new rules guiding the forum? Their avatar should have been removed automatically by the system after implementing the new rules. I have never seen a rule guiding a community applicable to some while excluding some and they're living together. I know my opinion does not matter but let call a spade a spade. Being an old member should not exempt them from the general rules by the way. Assuming those accounts back to be active in the forum now that's how they'll be bragging with avatar leaving the new account who has not attain the full member rank without avatar? That's ridiculous Undecided
Thymos should remove their avatar. I can see how frustrating the OP is right now  Grin

You're the only one who thinks there's discrimination, there's no active newbie with an avatar displayed on their profile, so why Theymos would bother, and why use the word should as if the admin owes you a favor, you are being unreasonable in arguing on very trivial matters, we are all tenants here and the forum and the admin do not owe you anything.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 29, 2023, 11:55:58 PM
Hi,

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

It's better to invest in a coin that has no factor to worry attach to that coin, we all want safe investing and we do not want into a project where there's a possibility of losing so I recommend going for ADA but if you can take the risk then XRP or if you don't want to have regret later then invest 20% on XRP, the profit on Ada will carry the risk of losing on XRP.
But so far XRP is doing good in the market and many platforms like exchanges still trust XRP, but we really never know its fate after the ruling.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 29, 2023, 11:35:43 PM

What patterns do you see and how much do you believe in it?

In a luck-based game patterns never exist, what's good for you today, maybe not good for you tomorrow or in the coming days, one example is the use of martingale this is the pattern or method commonly used by newbies because there is a logic behind it but logic do not apply in gambling when it comes to luck based game, unexpected things happen, this what makes gambling very exciting because you never know when you are going to hit the jackpot.
113  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone's using my video as bounty entry without my permission or consent on: April 29, 2023, 11:08:15 PM

OP, if you want to, you can change the thread title from "someone" to "Apt2022" so anyone taking a glance at topic list on this board would get a better understanding of the situation. Second, though I am not sure how he can get out of this situation, I also advised you to at least invite Apt2022 to this thread by PMing him, so he can defend himself or give his side of story. It's an ethical thing to do.

Yes, I think it's better to name that guy and send the manager this link to ban him from the campaign I don't think he can defend his action because he has a history of cheating and ban evasion, it's intentional.
He followed Cheezcarl's channel and beat him to the registration he register ahead of Cheezcarl so there is an intention to cheat but if the manager always checks the details he'll find out that the submission does not belong to the cheater, I hope the manager is good when it comes to details.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 28, 2023, 10:31:05 PM

A Shanghai man was sentenced to prison for kidnapping his own granddaughter so he could maintain his gambling addiction with the ransom money.

The kidnapping — orchestrated by a 65-year-old man identified only by his surname, Yuan — was first reported by the Shanghai Law and Rule Journal. The legal news outlet didn't specify when the incident occurred but wrote on April 18 that Yuan had just started serving his prison sentence.

Yuan kicked off his plan by picking up his four-year-old granddaughter from her kindergarten and taking her out to eat and shop without her mother's knowledge, the Journal reported.

This is a very unusual story about crime because of gambling but it really happens, those who are addicted to gambling cannot think about what is right and what is wrong imagine committing a crime against his own granddaughter so he can just continue to gamble, if you're 65 years old you should be enjoying retirement and enjoy the fruit of your labor, now because of his addiction to gambling, he'll have to spend his retirement years in prison.
Unimaginable for a 65-year-old, I guess he'll have to file a parole so he can be with his family to ask for forgiveness.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After HongKong, it is time for Taiwan on: April 28, 2023, 02:23:14 PM
This was supposed to happen but the timing is perfect. A few hours back Taiwan announced that it will allow traditional Banks to offer Bitcoin & Crypto trading services. A month back they had announced that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency regulation are on the way. But why so fast?

I mean, what was the hurry? Is it because HK announced a few days back that their largest bank plans to extend its service to crypto? Or it is a competition between China & Taiwan as to who gets a major chunk of the crypto business.

Whatever is the reason? I feel that this news should bring a lot of cheer to the market. Why? As another country joins the list that accepts Bitcoin & cryptocurrency as an entity and wants it to thrive.

What do you guys think? Smiley

It will eventually happen, Taiwan and Hong Kong are economic giants and they are competing in a subtle way, Hongkong being a colony of China and one of its economic arms, and Taiwan who established their own identity in the Asian region.
Asia is a strong economic region and the adoption of Cryptocurrency will further strengthen the region, and of course, China's Hongkong and Taiwan don't want to be late in adoption.
The adoption of these two economic giants will bring positive feedback to the market, hopefully, it will turn the tide and we'll price of Bitcoin and other top coins to surge.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 01:17:37 PM
This is expected when you tried a compulsive gambler they will create twisted stories, it goes with the character, compulsive gamblers are liars when you tried them in court, but this is a court they will eventually convict because the prosecutors can easily find evidence based on the story,

The mother and child pleaded guilty to the charges.
I guess they were advised by their lawyers to admit to the crime for a lighter sentence because denying will put more jail time in their case.

This is a very sad story we don't want any of our family to be deprived of liberty now we have mother and son spending time in jail.

I think that he was not looking directly at the quality of the posts here, but only at the number of deleted posts by the moderator.
I didn't know that. I thought whenever he sees shitposters if he catches them. He puts them in his jail and leaves feedback. I left feedback on this guy, but it's not visible to others. I just noticed icopress left a neutral as well.

I just casually looked at tusandii post history, looks like a ton of useless spam. What is noticeable to me is that all his posts seem generic and it seems that he uses AI help to write posts. I checked some of his posts, some have only a 17%-25% probability of being written by humans or even a 90.8% probability written by AI like this post:

Not sure what he is trying to do. He probably doesn't know the forum rules (I guess the forum doesn't have rules regarding AI content yet). Who wants to ruin the account by doing that kind of shit? I did not check his post using an AI content detector. Did you report his post since you found them AI content?

I'm sure this is being monitored by the management team they have 7 people checking every participant's posts and this is unacceptable and unfair for the other participants, the forum, and all members of Bitcoin having a guy getting paid using an AI and considering that Stake.com have a grading system and the best poster gets a reward.

118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Missing Bitcoin on: April 27, 2023, 12:22:59 PM
Can someone help me with a transaction that has been confirmed over 600# and is not showing in my wallet and yes I sent it to the right wallet.

You should correct your words wallet is different from the address, if you own the private key of the address where it was sent then you still own that Bitcoin, there's a possibility that you're looking at the wrong wallet, it happened to me before I was checking my Exodus but it turns out the address I've used was from Electrum.
Double-check where that address is located it and should show up, it is fully confirmed.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What role have altcoinsplayed in the entire cryptocurrency industry on: April 23, 2023, 11:36:41 AM

Have alternatives cryptocurrencies help the growth and adoption of cryptocurrency in the global market and how far have the presence of alternatives cryptocurrency help the industry positively?
Or Negatively?

For me, there are positive and negative effects the negatives are the ICO and the too many scams brought by altcoins, the algorithm of these altcoins made it easy for scammers to scam investors, and the airdrops and the smart contract address interactions brought by these altcoins.
The positive effect is the investors and the community has more choices of blockchain that they use for their own industry like the Ethereum chains are being used in many industries paving the way for adoption.
