Hi,

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

$10k is already a big amount since you are interested and believe in the potential of these two coins why not divide between these two coins so you'll have no regret in case the coin you did not invest in pumps up more than the coin you've invested.
The issue with XRP has been going on for many years now, but still, many exchanges are adding XRP to their platform, and the community still supports XRP, some coins' values going down but XRP's support in the market is still strong.

Investing in the amount of 10k for me is quite large, must be appropriate in investing, seeing ADA and XRP for 3 years have not given a new ATH whether you will continue to invest in them, especially in the next 1-3 years, why don't you invest in The main coins and other Alt can provide future expectations

The two coin's mentioned are good to buy and hold for a period of time, which XRP may win the court case and may skyrocket, because the last Bull run, they was not much impact Ripple, but rather was with SEC Court case, therefore, the second Coin been ADA is also good for a long term holding, that can give you more than what you predict as a return investment profits.

$10,000 investing in cryptocurrencies is certainly much better,
especially during a bearish season like now, your $10,000 money could become $20,000 in the next year,

Too much of the portfolio is for bitcoin. If 85% is in bitcoin, why spend the rest of your money on altcoins at all? It makes almost no sense, then it's better to spend all the money on bitcoin. If we are talking about a diversified and multi risk portfolio, then I would allocate 40% for bitcoins, 20% for old altcoins and 40% for new ones, then this portfolio would have a good chance to grow well in 3-4 years. It's better to invest in a coin that has no factor to worry attach to that coin, we all want safe investing and we do not want into a project where there's a possibility of losing so I recommend going for ADA but if you can take the risk then XRP or if you don't want to have regret later then invest 20% on XRP, the profit on Ada will carry the risk of losing on XRP.
But so far XRP is doing good in the market and many platforms like exchanges still trust XRP, but we really never know its fate after the ruling.

Divide the amount to be invested into 3 parts. Invest 1/3 in ADA, 1/3 in XRP, and the remaining 1/3 in ETH. Then you’ll feel safer no matter what happens to ADA or XRP.

Why not have ETH in your portfolio? I believe ETH will give better returns than all three altcoins you mentioned and will also be less risky than them.
For 10k, I will spend 40% on bitcoin and 30% on ETH, and the remaining 30% I will spend on a venture portfolio. Once investing in altcoins, the risks are almost the same, and I would instead invest in new altcoins than look at older altcoins with lower growth potential. The growth potential of new projects is still better than old projects, and history has also shown us that old altcoins will mostly grow slowly and gradually be replaced by new projects.

And what is the point of that? Why transfer some liquidity from bitcoin to XRP? XRP is not going to yield more than bitcoin. Why even focus on coins that are in the TOP-20? What are you trying to find there? Do you think these altcoins are better than bitcoin? What's the point of investing in coins that have slowed down a lot? There is a big hype going on right now around pow-altcoins, as well as ZK-altcoins. That's where the prospects for big growth are.

Regarding XRP or ADA, you can buy either one but remember that BTC is an important part of the portfolio. Do not forget that.

Give me 10k dollars and I will Invest in BTC ETH and BNB. Maybe they are coins that don't offer great returns but if it is something like holding for up to 3 years then it's a good choice. I predict there will be a return of about 2 or 3 times over the next 3 years.

Regarding XRP or ADA, you can buy either one but remember that BTC is an important part of the portfolio. Do not forget that.

While you always need to your own research why would you ever pay 5000$ for courses? If you look for it, there is a lot of stuff available online and personally I don’t really believe in courses that promise you a lot of things but the only one that will get rich is the guy given the courses.
10,000$ is a lot of money and I would spread it out over more coins, and always include BTC and ETH

XRP is a dead project and I still don't understand why people are investing in it, it isn't like it's a new project but it's as old as some top 10 coins so I don't get what make people think it'll increase in next bull market. Are they thinking because the price is still small that it'll go up in value. People are forgetting that XRP has so much supply and circulating coins in the market.
XRP will needs billions of market cap to get pass $10 as it has about 52 billion coins in circulation. It's market cap is $21 billion so it needs $520 billion ti get to $19 which is impossible with the current market and all the cases the government has again XRP.
I suggest you look into the new coins launching like $EDU that just launched few days ago, it's a web3 project and would do well in next bull market.

It is always worth the risk to keep some Ripple. I'm not giving this advice because I have a bag somewhere(which is true, by the way) but I'm saying this because it has a well established network which would always get better as the years go by

If I were you, I won't put all my money on altcoins.
50% of my money will be on Bitcoin, 50% to put on altcoins. I will spend 5k for Bitcoin, and I will buy 1-3 potential top altcoins with 5k. But I won't choose XRP, I prefer to buy ETH, BNB, SOL, MATIC, or DOT. You must understand that XRP often has bad issues (bad news), it is not safe enough for a long-term holding. You are better to choose other altcoins with no bad issues.

You can safely invest in the ADA platform and there is no doubt that XRP will definitely win the case. And if you can invest in present time then 100% you will definitely achieve success and benefits no doubt.
