101  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is rocking are we nearing to the bull run? on: December 28, 2018, 10:00:48 PM
Some Interesting stuff going across the Crypto market, BTC is slowly recovering and there is a good change so far in the market, I guess we are nearing to the bull run. Are the happy days are on the way?
Do no get too excited, we are seeing a recovery but the bull market is not going to appear so suddenly it is going to take at least an additional year before that happens and we will need several positive news about the markets for that to happen, so just calm down and be patient because we are nowhere close to the bull market and we will have to accept that.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Coins and Tokens... on: December 28, 2018, 05:53:58 PM
Until when you gonna hold your coins and tokens?
Will you dump it if it is pumping in the market?
I am going to hold my coins until I get the profits that I want and if that means that the coins that I'm holding lose all their value then so be it, I am in this market because I'm thinking for the long term and how cryptocurrencies are going to change the world and I'm sure that if that happens the profits that you are going to get will be almost unbelievable for most people.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: December 27, 2018, 11:32:25 PM
Such a deplorable situation with bounty is of course primarily due to the depressed market
I think that there will be more quality and efficient projects in the rise in prices for cryptocurrency, the rewards will increase accordingly
and that the nature of the means for the advancement of projects will also change, the greater the direction to blogging is video blogs
More quality projects will appear in the future as all of those useless projects disappear but when the market begins to show that it is near to begin its recovery we will also see the scammers coming back to the market to try to sell their useless projects to the investors and at that time people will make the same mistakes again and they will keep losing money.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Bull after Christmas? on: December 27, 2018, 11:25:35 PM
after all that had happened, December was a decline in the price of BTC which was completely destroyed, and the sockets are now far beyond predictions,
some predictions say BTC will be bull early in December, but in the first week of December BTC has experienced a price decline beyond predictions,
Is the prediction that there will be a bull After Christmas will occur?
or will it fall further down?
Christmas has already passed and nothing happened, people need to stop giving predictions that do not make sense, the price is not going to grow out of nowhere just because people somehow feel more positive thanks to Christmas, if the price recovers it will be because the investors are seeing in cryptocurrencies a way to make profits in the short and long term.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do play this momentum? on: December 27, 2018, 11:19:04 PM
Is this another bull trap? Or first sing of bull market beginnings?

My strategy is the following:

Bet on trends, holding and selling tops (try at least), re-buying at few % drops, wait till next station.

Once made some profits, bet on other coins which did not start the uptrend, or are at the beginning of the up-trend.

Attention with people selling ALTs for $BTC !! Don't forget the Stop-loss!

Good luck all!

The market will not enter in a bull run soon, so the most likely scenario is that we are looking at a bull trap however some coins could show some recovery once in a while thanks to the active development of their developers but you need to read the news of those coins to know if the growth could be sustained or if there is nothing happening in that coin and the growth was caused by speculation.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: December 27, 2018, 11:14:39 PM
Honestly i still feel its a bull trap and bitcoin will reach down below 5800$, before real bull market begins...How many of you guys agree with this ?
I think you are not aware of the reality of the whole situation, the bear market has already taken root in this market. And who will decide to overcome it is not clear. And to identify the real prices of coins is still far.
Many are not aware of what it is happening, they seem to think that just because the last year gave us a bull market this year was going to be the same and I still see many people that are still delusional and are expecting a recovery during the last days of December, but there are many like us with our eyes open that understand that the recovery will not happen that fast.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade during red market? on: December 27, 2018, 10:29:03 PM
for me when the market deteriorates the step is to buy a top coin that has a stable trading volume movement so we can take advantage of price fluctuations by playing safely but can benefit even though it is small, if you want to get a big profit you must choose a long-term investment
I agree with this, if you want short term profits then you need to lower your expectations about the money that you are going to get especially since right now it is very risky to invest in the coins that have very low market caps, that means that you will need to invest in the coins that are the most recognized among the community and if you want to earn big profits with them then you need to invest for the long term.
In my opinion, the only correct strategy for today is long-term investments. Although some traders manage to make a profit, even with the current state of the cryptocurrency market. Nevertheless, no one will tell us their strategies.
Investing for the long term is without a doubt profitable but if there is something the bear market has showed us is that people are not really interested in those kind of profits and they are only interested in the profits they can get now, so even if they know that long term investing is better for them at the same time they are not capable of performing that strategy.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: December 20, 2018, 10:39:07 PM
When crisis 2008 happen, bitcoin still not created yet. I am wondering too if economic crisis happen again, what will happen with bitcoin price. But i am believe bitcoin price will increasing because bitcoin have limited supply and investor must be looking alternative investment
Investors only look for alternatives in times of crisis, they are not doing that now because they think the economy is doing well even if many people are warning them that is not the case, but once it is clear a crisis is happening and the markets all around the world begin to crash they will try to find a way to avoid losing so much money and at the time bitcoin could be a good choice for them.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: December 20, 2018, 10:34:19 PM
Bull markets can be very deceiving, if you invest when the market is about to skyrocket you may think that you are a genius and that is because you do not have to do anything to earn a huge amount of money, and the worst part is that you may believe it and think that you are some kind of genius when you are not and then when the market goes down you believe that you can still make money in it only to lose everything.

People are finally realizing that traditional technical analysis does not work. They all thought they were geniuses when they bought almost any coin last year, and made easy peasy 10x or 100x,,, and guys like me, I even just bought a few coins and flipped them twice even three times for x2 profits, I thought I was a genius.

Then this year, I used those profits to buy at what was supposed to be bargains. I bought again two even 3 more times as prices got lower. So now, I end up with many cheap coins that got even cheaper.

End result: total dollar value now is not even break even, but below initial dollar investment. But for me this is OK. 30% losses or so from start bankroll in super bear market is GOOD. Now if only things can recover by 2020 I will be fine.
At least you learned your lesson and you are back at where you started but there are many that never learn their lesson and they keep trading and investing thinking they will recover their money only to find out too late that is not the case, armed with that knowledge you can now earn profits in the market that will last and not those fast profits that come and easily go as well.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time? on: December 20, 2018, 10:13:27 PM
Many speculate that bitcoin is a bubble and they say that bitcoin is going to disappear because of it but if that was the case don't you think that bitcoin should have disappeared already? And the fact that bitcoin is still here should be proof enough that bitcoin is not a bubble and it is going to be here for a long time, it also does not help that the ones that say that are the ones that will like to see bitcoin disappear.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW CAN BITCOIN BE ACCEPTED TO BE USED AS A PAYMENT METHOD GLOBALLY? on: December 20, 2018, 09:47:12 PM
In as much as we all wish to help fulfill the dream of Satoshi Nakamoto in using BTC to make transactions in our daily lives we must look critically at the high volatility of BTC. Come to think of it people, how many of us in here would wish to purchase an item worth $500 US right now when this same amount of BTC was worth over $1000 US last year. If we are able to solve volatility issues with BTC then trust me the acceptance of BTC will go viral. I just wish there were some real holders in the cryptospace!
You are only looking at only one side of the volatility, in this case the negative side, if you buy bitcoin at 4000 and in a few years it is worth 20000 again now you can buy 5 times more stuff with the same amount of bitcoin that you bought, so while the volatility can go against you it can also be favorable to you and it is precisely at those moments when you should spend your bitcoin.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New price of ETH on: December 20, 2018, 09:04:04 PM
Price of Ethereum is $115 now. It was down around $104 which was horribl price of crypto world. Ethereum price dropped a lot. Cryptocurrency can be vanish if the process still going as same.
Ethereum is not going to disappear just because it has a low price, even at the current price ethereum is many times above the next coin that is following it and when it comes to a smart contact platform even if there are many coins that have appeared recently that are trying to take away customers and investors from ethereum those coins are going to fail because ethereum is many times more popular.

Do you think that ethreum will soon reach the price of more than $ 200 and do you think you will get twice as much profit as you invest today in ethereum?
i think price of ethereum will 200 dollar soon
I do not know when that will happen but that is a relatively low price that could be reached during the next 3 to 6 months but if the recovery we are seeing at the moment is real then we could see a recovery like that in just a few weeks but the time frame of 3 to 6 months seems more realistic to me and does not depend on the market moving really that fast at all.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you happy with stakes payment method ? on: December 18, 2018, 11:12:00 PM
There is no other choice, we must obey the rules that have been made. I once followed the bounty for a fee of $ and calculated per post (signature campaign). That is quite profitable, even though it is subsequently accumulated with the number of tokens. But worth it. The actual stakes system is the same, it is only to facilitate the calculation, especially if the number of participants is very large.
It is not as if people have a choice, the campaign managers are the ones that determine the rules of the campaign and a far as I can see the method of calculating stakes for each participant is the one that is the most common and it is also the one that seems to be the most fair since the people that contributed more to the campaign should get more rewards for their efforts.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: More altcoins produced the more Bitcoin or even ETH will go down on: December 18, 2018, 10:59:08 PM
In my own opinion, the more altcoins and erc20 tokens being released everyday in market, the more it affects Bitcoin or even Ethereum's price to go down.Since the volume of investors should be instead investing on btc and eth are now divided to altcoins. What do you think?
That's right the more the worse. Note that when a significant fork appears, there is a constant decline, so it may be necessary to work on the development of existing coins, and not to replace them with insignificant and inefficient forks.
Those tokens are not really making the price of bitcoin to go any lower, the price is going down because people are very afraid the market will keep going down and in a way I understand them, they invested money they were not prepared to lose and now they lost most of it and they want to avoid losing it all, but their decision to sell has cost them the chance to make any money at all in the market.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: December 18, 2018, 10:52:22 PM
Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?
I suppose most members of the forum a very positive about the future of bitcoin because if that was not the case then why they are here? And it is also very simple to know why, bitcoin is the first currency that is decentralized, that has no physical form and that doesn't require the approval of governments or banks to make transactions and that is very valuable.
I agree. We are very hopeful about the bright future of bitcoin especially the big investors here.Bitcoin is the first decentralized currency and is now gaining so much popularity right now,and even holds the most trusted cryptocurrency by the people.
I am not a big investor but even I am very positive about the future of bitcoin since I do not see an scenario in which bitcoin can be replaced or eliminated by banks and if you give it enough time bitcoin will grow beyond our wildest imaginations which means that even the small amount of bitcoin I am holding could be enough to change my life.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES on: December 18, 2018, 10:26:19 PM
Is there someone here who really get some big profit with their bounties? I am sick and tired of failed Bounties that I joined, most of them didn't reward my works due to ICO failure.

Most of us the same experience so I feel you that after your hard work and don't have reward it hurt to us. That's why we need to find a very good one project so we can earn too a good reward. Qw need to study the we want deeply so we k ow what will be the worth of that project.
It is clear that bounties campaigns are not going to be profitable for some time so it is better for you to try to find other ways to get tokens during the bear market, I know it is not easy but if bounty campaigns are not profitable and are in fact turning out to be a complete waste of time it is better that you use your time to try to find some other way to make money in the market.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Falling to mid 3K Will it go down more? on: December 18, 2018, 09:48:57 PM
I think the bearmarket isnt done yet as we are fishing for a bottom.

But we could see some up swings before we ultimately go towards 3200 and test the lower 3k range

Any thoughts?
Your prediction became true and that is exactly what it is happening, I just hope the bulls have enough strength to hold their own against the bears and do not allow the price to that much lower but that does not seem likely since the bears are doing everything they can to make the price even lower and it does not seem like there is an end in sight to their desire to make the price even lower.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you buying? on: December 14, 2018, 11:23:52 PM
Honestly I think we'll be in the $3000 - $6000 range for half a year or so. Could be wrong but that is what I'm thinking. I think there will be ample buying opportunity under $5000 during the winter and spring. Granted that recent drop was just cuz of the BCH craziness, but from listening to market sentiment plenty of people think it has more to drop. So I think we've got some time in the $3000s and $4000s the next few months. Even if you don't have funds for a few months I bet you'll be able to get in at a real low price. I'm buying some now just in case it settles a bit higher than this, but I expect I'll be buying under $5000 at least in Jan and Feb.
If that happens then that is a good development for me, while many are lamenting the low price we are seeing they are completely blinded to the opportunity right in front of them, they could easily buy two bitcoins for the same amount of money that just months ago could only buy them one, if they were smart they will understand that this is the perfect moment to hoard as much bitcoin as they could.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: December 14, 2018, 11:18:15 PM
actually, barter have advantages. barter no need money to exchange what you need. so if you dont have money, you can barter with what they need. you as consultant can make over the other thing what you have to get some clothes. so, its not depend on you are work as consultant or other job.
money, can be better solution to create thing like of you have it, you can exchange woth anything you want, as long as the value is good.
so, you can use barter if someone want and deal about what you do.
Well, I think, some people still use barter, and of course that might be quite profitable. well, but, I think that is rarely found, because for those who have money, they may not need barter.
Barter may not seem to have a place for most of the people around the world but barter is everywhere but when you use money you just call it negotiation, if you want to buy something you could pay the full price but it is always useful to ask if that is really the best price and try to get a better one, that way you save money and you increase your experience and that will also help you to save money in the future.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked by a poor hacker on: December 14, 2018, 11:10:16 PM
Just want to share my experience for a week ago.my wallet was hacked  by a poor hacker  in my opinion because in my wallet not more than $200 and the hacker was hacked only $80 when eth for the gas  transaction was run out.very so sad when we waiting for the best price and i will sell it but it was hacked

I feel sorry for you but the hacker is indeed poor because he hacked your wallet, even only $80 from it.
You need to use more secure wallet to protect your coins in the future.
If you are using MEW, i suggest you to using other wallet like jaxx or metamask.
The amount you lose to a hacker has nothing to do with the wealth that the hacker has, what if that hacker hacked hundreds of people for amounts similar to that? Suddenly the hacker has tens of thousands of dollars at his disposal from a single hack, forget about such things and concentrate only on how to secure your coins which is the most important thing after you have been hacked.
