Thanks a lot, I was indeed running 1.2.5, but the Mac version, not the windows one, it might have the same bug then, I'll  install 1.2.3 (but next week, going for a few days), and let you know if the problem persists.

And I may add, that I find DPOS a far more eco-acceptable solution than Pos or Pow so I am all in favor of supporting DPOS coins, specially if they run as smoothly as Ark, which will probably be the case with BPL. However we probably will need a few thousands for Dpos to yield any result.

Thank's I did notice that the delegate's page took a long time loading and that very few votes were recorded, so we might still be in the early stages with a few problems still to solve.

Hi guys, I just entered BPL, I think it has a lot of potential, and being familiar with Ark, I saw coming into Bpl as a logical extension. Wallet works smoothly however I have a noob question. I tried to vote the way I do in Ark (looking at the table of delegates, adding a delegate, voting), but could not add a delegate (tried a few), each time I enter a name I get a "You can add only one delegate or delegate already voted" (all in red very frightening.
So I can not vote for a delegate since I can not add any, and I just do not understand what on earth the problem is.

It's always interesting to spread your investment on several coins (I'd say six to ten), preferably of different type, it does not leave you exposed to one crypto Asset (we know they are all fragile), and you can take advantage of dips and ups that occur often at different times. Personally I went into some

- Waves
- Ark (similar to LisK, with an active community)
- Synx (good staking return)
- Hyperstake
- 808 (it did give very good return through the year)
- XMR
- Dash
- LTC
- Bts
- Ok cash (probably a mistake has not been moving much for a long time)
- Neblio, young one under the radar still, but could have success
- Stellar
- XRP
- And I just sold the Xvg I had
All in All it had been a decent mix for the second half of 2017. I am in the process of selling some to reorganize the portfolio for 2018 but have not made up my mind yet. I'm considering Nav (strong road map but you need a lot to stake), and DCR (very promising technology but I am not sure about the money side, fail to see how it it supposed to turn out money), XRP, I will probably get out of LTC and OK CasH, and still looking for a joker or two (usually the genial hunch you have while eating the turkey that turns out to be a disaster).

Waves has got something similar, staking through loaning to a node. Return is pretty low, but since waves is the kind of thing you buy low and hold thinking it might go very high one day, it does make sense.
I'm not quite sure but I think OMG will in the end have something similar.

Il faudra un peu faire attention à la gueule de bois, qui pourrait survenir à peu près n'importe quand entre maintenant et début janvier, avec une forte correction. Je pense aussi que 2018 verra une progression du bitcoin et des cryptos, en particulier parce que tout le monde va à partir de je ne sais quand dans l'année, anticiper le prochain Halving du bitcoin (début 2019 normalement), mais ce n'est jamais sûr (on ne sait pas comment tout ces petits machins pourraient être affectés par une crise globale - par exemple la bourse de NY qui dévisse méchamment avec un scénario de crise derrière, ce qui fait partie des possibilités 2018 -) et les nouveaux entrants vont découvrir la volatilité des cryptos,ce qui, vue la proportion d'entrants récents, peut provoquer de gigantesques panic sells (je ne serai pas surpris si le bitcoin fin décembre ou janvier repassait dans la bande 9-12K). Donc ne pas oublier de réaliser une partie des plus-value latentes, diversifier, et ne pas acheter une obscure monnaie qui monte en flèche si on ne veut pas passer 2018 à bouffer de l'alKa Selzer et des pâtes.

Je ne connais pas copay, mais à vue de nez ça semble être un soft permettant d'installer une wallet en local. Si c'est le cas,  il y a forcément une clé privée générée à la création de la wallet, et sans clé privée j'ai bien peur qu'il ne soit pas possible de récupérer les montants qui sont dessus. D'où l'intérêt d'ailleurs de commencer à expérimenter avec de petits montants parce les erreurs de ce genre sont arrivées à peu près à tout le monde.

Pour ark je poussoir (depuis déjà longtemps), communauté solide et active autour de divers projets. Dpos à rendement décent (donc encouragement des porteurs à garder mais sans consommation énergétique inutile). Techniquement solide (lisK) et relativement bon marché ces temps-ci.
Après pour Xvg, j'en ai pris un peu en dessous de 50 sat, perso je n'en prendrai pas au dessus. C'est un bon projet solide, mais c'est le même souci que le Doge, le nombre de. tokens est très important (ça se défend dans leur perspective d'ailleurs), mais ça limite quand même fortement les perspectives d'augmentation forte du prix unitaire.

Hi everybody, selling Btc and Ltc is impossible with coinabase today (deactivated they say), have not seen a topic on that. Is it the case with other platforms or is it just them having a problem. Anyhow it really sucks.

Juste deux trucs, changely est probablement le machin le plus cher de tout le monde crypt0 (les taux pour changer sont délirants) et sur les monnaies que tu regardes, ça se tient, mais si tu veux faire du POS avec Dash ou Pivx il va falloir investir pas mal (1000 Dash, et 10 000 Pivx) et je crois que ce n'est pas dans le niveau d'investissement auquel tu penses. Si tu veux faire du passif avec des montants raisonnables il faudrait regarder du côté des DPOS (Ark, Neo, Lisk, Waves etc), ou des POS qui ne demandent pas une trop grosse mise de fonds (hyperstake, synX, Bitbean) etc, sachant que le retour est très dépendant de l'évolution des cours, donc qu'il vaut mieux prendre dans un creux.

Perso j'utilise régulièrement Poloniex, bitRex, cryptopia, tidex, hitbtc, c-cex, jamais eu de souci avec aucun pour retirer et j'ai un faible pour cyrptopia, grand choix de crypto, interface simple, rarement de lag ou de serveur offline (le cauchemar de Polo et de C-cex) après faut pas vouloir trader 10 Btc jour, mais c'est pas mon cas de toute façon.
Coinbase n'est pas une place de trade, mais un endroit permettant d'acheter des cryptos. Jamais eu de soucis non plus, fees un peu élevées, mais interface simple, pas de lag de serveur (aargh Kraken), et c'est fiable .
Et pour le hold, le seul moyen sûr c'est une wallet sur la machine (y'a plein de topics sur les wallets dans la section débutant), pas une place d'échanges ou d'achat, ce n'est pas toi qui détient la clé privée dans ce cas.

Sur un marché à forte volatilité il y a de toute façon un risque et le cours du bitcoin prend souvent de grosses corrections après une forte hausse, vu le niveau c'est pas impossible, mais j'en doute un peu dans les prochaines semaines, il y a beaucoup d'argent qui rentre en ce moment dans l'éco-système et comme le BTc est la principale porte d'entrée ça soutient les cours.
Ceci dit tu peux toujours prendre une petite somme d'abord, quel que soit le cours, pour te familiariser avec les outils et les plate-formes. J'ai acheté mes premiers Btc il y a pile un an avec la maison du bitcoin et j'en avais pris pour 40 euros pour voir  . Il m'a fallu deux ou trois mois pour comprendre un peu comment tout ça marchait en faisant un certain nombre de conneries, mais sur de petits montants ça n'est pas très grave.
Tu as dans la section débutant un paquet de topics ouverts qui répondent à peu près aux mêmes questions, dont un sur les plateformes d'achat, d'autres sur les plate-formes d'échange. Have fun

La hausse actuelle, comme celle du printemps correspond à une entrée d'argent frais dans la sphère crypto (https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/). Ce sont les périodes les pus favorables, celles qui permettent d'engranger. Il y aura bien sûr une correction importante (du bTc comme des grosses alts), après quand on considère que la fin de l'année est presque toujours le moment d'entrée importantes d'une part, que ces phases durent généralement plusieurs semaines de l'autre, je ne pense pas qu'elle intervienne avant au moins deux ou trois semaine, voir un peu plus (s'il y a qq part un mac astucieux en marketting, il se mettrait à vendre de la paper wallet comme cadeau de Noël pour les gamins, je suis sûr que ça fait un carton), même si je suis un peu surpris de la forte résistance autour de 11K US étant donné le volume de cash rentrant chaque jour. Donc pour le moment je hold et j'accumule de l'alt à fort potentiel pendant que les prix sont bas.

If you want to buy and hold for a few months, you might as well get an asset with some potential and a decent staking return. I see three at the moment, syndicate, with a few new projects and Neblio, that could become an interesting platform and of course Neo. Prices are not too high thanks to the recent btc run and one of them could be the nice surprise of 2018. After that as everybody says, there is always a risk, specially when you invest in crypto.

I used #808coin hashtag to retweet, I think we should agree on a hash to use on twitter and other networks, helps consolidate a brand.
And only 16 retweet so far guys, we need a few more.
As for the goal, the value of most alt coins has more to do with branding, exposure and ease of use than anything else. And prices tend to be cyclical, 808 has been well below 10 sats before.
Wa can communicate on the strengths of 808
 - multiplatform
- small transaction fees
- a record of being profitable (I'm posting the link to the POS experiment channel on you tube anywhere I can)
- a dedicated community
- active community managers
- fun to use,
- Fair to small holder, with quick staking and the 2% of day rule that means small holders will get their stake (compare to hyper stake for exemple or synX or nav, where you can not stake if you are small)
- cheap to buy at the moment
And whatever real world use comes when something comes up.
So it's the perfect staking coin for everybody, newcomers and college and K12 students (bored in maths ? check your 808).
So yeah, there is potential there, and more so than for Tek.

This spring was quite exceptional, we had nearly all alts moving up (even somme pretty shitty coins) with lots of spikes and lows while Btc was slowly going up. It seems to have been linked to a strong influx of new money and profits were very high (x2 or x3 a month for a bit more than a quarter), but I have not seen such conjonction of planets before or after, and I am not quite sure it will happen again, the profit you can make has something to do with skills obviously, but also with the time frame of your investment. Sometimes the wind pushes you, sometimes you have to struggle to stay afloat. Don't know about you guys but I was pretty happy to make 9% on fiat value in September and that took quite a bit of effort.

I do hold Eth, and LTC and Dash, but after the quick rise we have just experienced I'm not sure I would recommend to enter at that level, there could be some correction around the corner. So I would say wait for a dip (but I might be wrong)
Waves, BTS, Omg and Neo have good long term potential (but alts do not always live up to their potential) and I think are low enough that you can still enter.
I would say, if you look at alt coins with a lower market cap NBL and ARK (similar to List) and OkCash are interesting at the present level
And if you want to take a risk, and go for passive income as opposed to trading, the best Pos coins this year have been SYNX, Hyperstake, bitBean and 808 (if you want to compare PoS coin see, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB6MvtqGHEQ)
