101  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: July 07, 2021, 06:00:01 PM
Investments are collective money we worked for; a small amount of contribution would be enough.
Sometimes we forgot how to invest in ourselves to attain more financial gain.
Don't be hesitant; as long as there's progress, there's a possibility. Keep flourishing.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 07, 2021, 05:37:36 PM
You are safe if you are not worrying about losing and earning money anymore.
Bitcoin is volatile, and we can't say what will happen to the price in the next decades
Bitcoin might be the safest crypto asset but should not be depended on as your profit machine.
Diversify, look for a financial advisor.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2021, 05:29:34 PM
Bitcoin seems too good to be true as advertised. Money-hungry and scammers are everywhere promoting bitcoin as investment schemes with huge returns, tempting but very unusual for the ordinary. Also, People are conditioned with tangible money and digital banks so that unknown coins would be skeptical for them. Everyone should learn to do their own research.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still the favorite choice on: July 07, 2021, 05:22:38 PM
Bitcoin is a commonly used trading partner; it is either for investment or profit.
Due to huge demand and volume, it became usable and easy to liquidate.
Being the pioneer, trust is already built; there is no doubt that Bitcoin would be our favorite choice.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin and Crypto Really Like the Early Internet? on: July 07, 2021, 05:15:06 PM
Both are different technology, the Internet is a free or easy access tool, and everyone can get involved, differentiating it from Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is also something we can't redesign; I would compare the internet to cryptocurrencies in general.
They have more similarities, as we see more apps with different purposes are being developed under blockchain technology,
Just like how the internet grows vastly due to variations of sites offering entertainment and convenience.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if influential people buy Bitcoin back and forth? on: July 07, 2021, 04:48:47 PM
Influential people with no finance background better not join. If ever the coin they promoted crashed, it would be detrimental to their reputation. On the other hand, Whales manipulate the market movement to buy cheaper or gain profit. The end response still depends on the community; some crypto member who loses money despises Elon for his lowkey negative view of BTC. Which doesn't actually negatively affected him; I guess his power and background helps. Overall, it raises awareness, but not every people with influence should jump in.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: July 07, 2021, 03:22:49 PM
Another phrase what I read about this recently is,
"You will become the richest man in the cemetery", something like that. Which is clearly talking that spending money while you are still alive.
For me, it's nothing bad at all spending your money while your still alive, what the best is, spending it WISELY and using it good things.
YES, enjoy the fruit of your labor, but don't ever forget the difference between enjoyment and destroying your financial security
Everyone should feel secured, and people should never ignore the costs of the future. Unexpected things could happen.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 07, 2021, 02:59:42 PM
Vietnam is thriving, and I've seen popular projects from Vietnamese developers, Axie Infinity is one example.
Is this have something to do with it? Hopefully, the regulations won't negatively affect the community.
Probably Axie Infinity does have something to do with their decision although they won't directly admit that because Axie Infinity is getting much more famous as day goes by. Also, it's still risky to say that it won't affect negatively the community because what they're doing is making their own crypto which means that they might do what China did.
It is skeptical for me since crypto is not legally recognized in Vietnam; now that they found out how inevitable this trend, they started to catch up on the digital currency race. I was thinking if they could just bring crypto on the local stock exchange to get benefits. But, let's see. Their plan is still unclear.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you decide to invest in for the long-term? on: July 07, 2021, 01:54:51 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are still young; huge growth potential is still there, both being the most popular coins guarantee a secured long-term operation.
Both feel secured to invest, so I choose both ETH and BTC.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: July 07, 2021, 01:46:35 PM
What is to be "rich"? In the different areas of my life, I define what being rich to be:

Economics: Having physical and digital assets worth 100million dollars combined.

Religion/Spirituality: Living in harmony with God. Peace of mind.

Health: Living in a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being with the absence of diseases.

Humanity: Giving back to the society. Helping the poor and making the world 🌍 a better place.

Leaving a great mark on this world is such a great satisfaction
But, having a huge asset would be beneficial to give back.
Thriving for success to break the poverty cycle is also a good thing for the next generation.
Money is not always evil. We have to use it for good.

111  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 07, 2021, 01:25:59 PM
The market history and coin utilization make such a great impact on long-term investors.
We are converting to more cashless transactions; cryptocurrencies being used in the future would result in great asset potential.

113  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic was just a start of chaos, wars, or becoming zombies! on: July 07, 2021, 06:08:14 AM
The pandemic started in Wuhan China and it has affected many countries around the world, as for zombies, I feel it only exists in science fiction but learned from a crazy idea to become a zombie. movie. It's like an experiment by rich people to put them in a frozen state and wait 100 or 1000 years before they can find the magic potion or improve the technology to be able to come back to life.
The idea of bringing people come back to life scares me. Due to technological advancement, possibilities are becoming endless but I don't think it is very soon or might not become successful. People are not fascinated with the concept, and it would take a huge process to be approved.
I can't really blame some people if they think negatively of the future. This pandemic is unexpected as well.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: July 07, 2021, 04:49:45 AM
Are you willing to be vaccinated?

I am a person with comorbidity so I'm afraid to be vaccinated because if it will cause a side effect to my body that I couldn't fight, it could result for me to die. I would just rather die the way I want where I am happy than to get any brand of vaccine, plus they don't guarantee yet that you won't have COVID anymore. If the people around me are vaccinated, that is already enough to lessen the risk for me of contracting the virus. I also don't get out of the house so there is a very low chance for me to get the virus.
That's the same case for me. I never have or do not remember any time that I've been consulted with a doctor.
I would get my health to be checked first before I get a vaccine of my choice.
I also stayed at home and follow the protocols; I have a low risk of being infected.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: July 07, 2021, 03:29:28 AM
Being the pioneer, the lifespan of bitcoin would be longer than the other coins.
We have seen great projects emerging right now, those with great use or utilization.
This could help continue the progress of widespread crypto adoption.
The future of BTC is still unclear, but let's hope for the better.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ETH on: July 07, 2021, 03:15:55 AM
ETH is a standard for an altcoin; it is a well-established and commonly used trading partner.
There are also a huge variety of decentralized apps running through Eth Blockchain.
Usually compared to BTC. I haven't seen a coin with the same power as ETH.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a ESO (Employee Stock Option) on: July 07, 2021, 02:38:30 AM
I hope the company can regulate the volatility. As a crypto enthusiast, this is an attractive option, but I would still choose the percentage that would go to my crypto investment. It would be hassle-free and a secure monthly contribution. BUT, it is still better to be able to decide when to buy your crypto asset.

What do you mean regulated the volatility of the company? If I'm an employee and this is offered, I won't take it, this is just me. I would rather let myself invest it directly.

Although you mentioned that it could be hassle free for some employees especially who haven't heard crypto or bitcoin.
I mean that the company might buy a huge amount of crypto, which could lead to losses.
Having their own crypto partnership would help them regulate their asset.
I'm just skeptical, but surely they have their own strategy for it.

119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 07, 2021, 01:09:21 AM
I always thought that the coin might run out of supply one day since most of us hold it.
Many possibilities can occur in 100 years; Bitcoin will be considered old technology.
A much better finance asset will be developed.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some interesting ways you've introduced bitcoin to your friends? on: July 07, 2021, 01:03:08 AM
Most of them are familiar with the name but only thought that it was a coin you can earn through web mining and investment with fast return.
I tell them that it is risky and just a Ponzi scheme. It is still crucial for them to learn the foundation, so I share trusted info on my newsfeed; they might read it or not. It is still their choice.
