101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC and ETH on their 2 years high on: September 05, 2020, 12:23:47 PM
I think the price of BTC and ETH will continue to increase significantly in the future, and I think that by the end of 2020 the price of BTC and other altcoins will increase just like the end of 2017.

Yeah, history will repeat itself. Everything was planned after the bitcoin halving but it won't happen in 2020, but in 2021 all alts will follow the direction of bitcoin and from now on is the opportunity to buy a few bags for each.

Before that happens we will experience many more ups and down, like it's happening just now. Bitcoin close to $10k, Ethereum $350,
and many others are red. I think this is not the end of the drop, this just started. Don't lose your faith now, I plan to wait the price to
go lower and I will buy.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTC2] Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: September 05, 2020, 11:26:57 AM
This is staking Bitcoin fork, yes? How many coins I need to have and to stake it? Do I need wallet open and running or stake is
active when wallet isn't open?
I like this project, I am thinking about investing in some staking coins. For now, I am still researching, and I saw this ANN thread
while I was looking for interesting projects. Is there a way to earn BTC2 coins somehow?
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: September 05, 2020, 06:05:14 AM
Yes people show how weak they think any solution how they can earn money.By reason of they afraid to borrow to the bank due to they didn't know how to paid their debt.because they don't have a job so where they gonna get money to pay
it was logic, how would they pay the bills if there was no job???
COVID 19 has made millions of people unemployed, many of whom don't even know how to support their families anymore because it is difficult to get money at this time. lucky for those who still have a job or have extra savings to support their family and pay their bills.

Renampun you are right, I consider myself lucky I kept my job safe. I worked hard for that, and I didn't stop on that,
I am trying to get more involved in crypto-currencies, I am trying on many sides to secure myself financially. Some people
depend on others most of the time, and when crisis come they get in the problems and that leads them to depression. You
will never see me stop trying and going into depression.
I believe there are strong and weak people, and strong should help weak ones. Not all the people can be strong, and
we should be humane to each others, that would make this world a lot better place for all of us.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 04, 2020, 08:40:49 PM
I see some games on television, not so often, when people play League of Legends, Counter Strike, Dota, and some other games.
I like to watch it, and I tried some of these games, they are really good, I understand why there is hype around them. I also read
about people who bet on these e-sport games and their stories are good, they say they win a good profit, they wrote it's easy
to spot favourites once you get more into teams and who is better.
Even I am old I like e-sports and I think it's the future, I see many kids playing, and they like the games more than traditional
games. I will start paying more attention on e-sports in the future, and maybe I will start placing some bets.
105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is marriage a kind of punishment? on: September 04, 2020, 07:17:25 PM
Couples need to date for a full year - or longer - without sex or any other intimate relations... and not even living in the same house together. Only then if they find that they are compatible should they get married.

Cool

It's like the old way! I am +40 and I know how my parents and grandparents used to date. It was similar like
you explained, first dating for a long time, after almost two years they got married. For me it was different,
I got married after 4 years of dating, but practically we started living together after 6 months. And it's not
like we needed to marry to show our love to each other, it was for papers, so everything can be legal. Now
when we have kids its easier when you are a married couple.
I don't think my marriage is a punishment in any meaning of that word. But later I will ask my wife what
she feels about our marriage directly, because I think that she is happy with us, but maybe she will surprise
me with an answer.
106  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Win any BlackJack Hand | Strategy Calculator on: September 04, 2020, 06:01:46 PM
This calculator gives you the best strategy

Tried this calculator last night, and I didn't win any hand, it's impossible to win every hand! This calculator gives suggestions, in
many rounds I had the same predictions as calculator, in several hands when I was insure what to do I followed calculator suggestions
and I lost. It always stands on 15, 16, 17, while I would take a card in some rounds and risk.
It's nothing special with this calculator for BlackJack, if you are new BlackJack player maybe it can be good for you, but for people who
have experience in this game don't need this.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Lithuania President gifted crypto to Estonian President. on: September 04, 2020, 02:45:05 PM
Everyone should realize that it turned out it wasn't crypto, it was just a digital money, they are totally different things. Well not totally but not same neither. I believe that if the people of the big names actually sponsor bitcoin that would be awesome.

Not the government people because they are not cared in the world, but if holywood stars and other nations equal things (I don't know what Hollywood is equal in your nation) all started to support and say how much they live crypto, we will see a ton more bitcoin people and the price will certainly go up as well. Think of Brad Pitt and Leonardo Di Caprio talking about how they own bitcoin and best investment they made on live television on one of the award speeches, that would have increased the price of bitcoin very suddenly.

Thanks for clarifying this gift from one president to another. I wonder which crypto-currency was gifted, in headline there just
crypto, and there's not much from OP about the coins. As it turns out, it's not a crypto-currency, it's just digital money.
I think we will see the promotion you are talking about. It will come from celebrities and famous people, we already have few
examples, but we will need many of them talking about Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies, that could affect many people to
get interested. And that would probably affect the price in a positive way.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yearn.Finance (YFI) hits $28k on: September 04, 2020, 08:26:53 AM
Since it's still yearn farming era, I'm not wondering if it hits 50k, I remember when it was POS time and a lot of coins came but then DPOS came, it seems like fashion, each year something is the fashion in cryptocurrency !

It's a new trend, and Zazzu we have a new trend every year. What we can't forget that after the trend and hype that surrounds that hype
some projects continue to exist, and many of them drop hard to never recover again. It's why people should be careful now,
to carefully choose projects where they invest, this hype will come to an end, and new trend will come!
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bounce Back is coming? on: September 04, 2020, 06:52:34 AM
not for now, we will see BTC in the range of 9000, maybe it will be deeper if the next resistance can be broken.
I'm sure people will think that too because right now the market is in a deep downturn.

I am not seeing that bad crash this time and may be it may stay in 10k range for some time and to me seems to be a good buying opportunity here and those who were waiting for this dip its good time to enter market and again it will bounce back quickly to 11k upwards. Do not want to miss this bull ride from here.

I don't see any bad days coming our way as well. Crypto-market seems strong, and I believe we will see the higher prices before
the end of this year, with some red days along the way, as we all know crypto-market is rarely stable, price tend to change directions.
But overall we have more green days than red days, which is a positive thing for all of us. This is the good intro for eventual bull-run
we expect to happen in near future.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BBC Sports Personality 2020 on: September 03, 2020, 07:29:39 PM
I haven't been following much sports since the start of 2020 but my interest has been piqued by motosports (again) due to the 2020 F1 World Championship. I kinda wanna see Hamilton win this award for this year although that will be a little bit too biased since I only watch F1. Tyson Fury is also one in my books due to his bout recently against Deontay Wilder. These two showed great deal of professionalism in their craft for me, and if I were to pick a champ--even if it's too biased on my liking lol--it's just between the two of them.

Like you Dothebeats I have the same experience, this year I didn't follow sport events as I did before. From all the pressure around
I put sport events on a side, and I was focused on other things.
I see many well-known names on this list, but I don't know about their performance in the past 9 months. Any of my picks would be
just guessing based on their results in the past. I will pass this, but if someone from here is sure in the outcome I would dare to follow,
after all we are BitcoinTalk community, we should help each other with good and profitable tips!
111  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: September 03, 2020, 05:49:04 PM
Going cashless in the modern world will make the division between the poor and the rich gigantic. I think some 50-100 years should pass to make the system fair.
Going cashless is all about the advancement in the day to day use of fiat. There is nothing to associate the cashless accessibility along with the economic situation prevailing with the people. There is nothing as, cashless system is for rich/poor. All levels of people can use it for the good. The system is fair, and the change is being felt now.

Ayiranorea you are right about everything you said! Cashless system is not for rich or poor people, it will be the system for all!
How much balance you have will depend on many other factors, like your salary, or you have some private business, inheritance.
When country adopt cashless system everyone will have to oblige to use that cashless system, no matter which class they belong.
I believe that cashless society is the future, we can like it or hate it, but we will have to adopt to that.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: September 03, 2020, 11:17:34 AM
I think this token is doing ok on exchange. You can see stats of Boom on WorldCoinIndex. People will probably use these coins for short term investments only, whenever it makes profit it is a coin worth investing.

As you say KenCryptos, for people who like to trade can use this coin for short-term investments, but people like I am are looking
for the long-term investments.
When something is first it can draw attention, I like the headline and probably will check more about this project and to see
is there something for me, can it be good long-term investment or it is and will stay pump and dump coin.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOT [Polkadot] Speculation on: September 03, 2020, 06:48:44 AM
I don't equate Polkadot with etherum, both coins have their own advantages but in terms of scalability I believe Polkadot is better than etherum and we will see how Polkadot will become the top 10 coins

I am reading comments and I have some concerns as well. Seven.71 you seem to know a lot more than all others and you
are positive about Polkadot future. I saw few headlines about Polkadot, but I didn't read whole articles. Do you really think that
Polkadot can get in top 10!? If they can scale better it will be a great advantage for Polkadot.
I will do my own research, I like your positivity and what you wrote about Polkadot. It can be a good long-term investment,
I will check it out more closely.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: I have Good news and Bad news about economy on: September 03, 2020, 05:49:21 AM
What you are saying is just a general view of what is going on, but in my view, the good news and bad news that you mention are very contradictory if there is a lot of loans issued it should be able to reduce companies that stop operating because in general governments will prioritize companies to get loans and will have an effect on people who keep getting jobs.
I don't need your nonsense predictions  Wink

Stongkored I agree with your words, this is just a general view. We always have good and bad news, and while for some people
good news are bad, for others bad news are good! Someone's loss is someone's gain, when one person loses or discards something,
it gives another person the chance to claim it or take advantage of the situation. It's life, you always look to be on a positive side,
but that doesn't mean you will not have bad days, that happens to everyone.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Dade to open Casinos and Restaurants for the third time. on: September 02, 2020, 03:47:29 PM
I think most of them will just standby and see if nothing goes wrong to those who rush to play to the Casino as soon as it opens. When they see nothing has happened to those people, then you will see that those who are waiting will also back to their old habits.

The rest of the Casinos and restaurants are still close because they cannot assume their customer's safety since they don't have the necessary things to do so because one wrong move or if something happens with the customers, they will face some trials and probably pay for the damage they have done.

If they wish to work and earn they will have to follow the rules. If they are not able to do that they will get out of the business,
it's how I see this situation. Now are casinos and restaurants capable for doing that depends on them. I understand casinos have
to work in order employers to receive salaries and people to have fun, but we need to follow the measures for protection against
Covid-19. Let's see what will happen in the next month or two, will there be increase in the number of new cases or people will
be responsible and follow the rules.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: September 02, 2020, 12:42:17 PM

Check my post from weeks ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263086.msg54995882#msg54995882
Vitalik is doing this for some time, he is aware of the current DeFi hype and he knows that many of them are ponzi schemes,
or simple scam projects that will run with the first money they get. As we already stated many times on this forum, while hype
is ongoing we need to be extremely careful where we invest our money! DYOR before you invest, don't trust in headlines and
huge promises.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: September 02, 2020, 11:16:45 AM
almost every year, we see a new technology in some projects. for now, DeFi was one of them that really hype. most of crypto project are DeFi now. but the hype has time, it will die soon or later. the new technology will replace it in the future.

You are right Denasha92! Every year we have some hype about something new, and it's great feeling to be here while that
happens around. We can say that hype before and hype now is the same, just some new things are getting the spotlight and
all of us who invested in some ICO's years ago and in DeFi now have a great experience and I hope great profit!
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I go into this crypto???? on: September 02, 2020, 10:21:03 AM
I never heard for Pinkoin! Why from all good alt-coins you chose the one that nobody knows about?! If you really did a careful
research you should share with us all the projects you researched. It would be good to share the parameters you used in your searching,
it would help us to understand your choices. Personally I wouldn't invest in this Pinkoin project, but it's your decision to make, not mine.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: September 02, 2020, 09:10:38 AM
We are still in pandemic but seeing ethereum now with its current market price is really a good on sight. I did not knoe what happen to ethereum but is this the effect of an upgrade?  Is there still more to come? I think cryptocurrency had never been affected with pandemic seeing all the good things that happen in the market.
Anyway, cryptocurrency market may came down from the bottom we can still be positive that things could happen and change like the things happen now with cryptocurrency. This is a proof or evidence that there is no constany in this world except for constant change.
I mean it was affected, you can clearly see on most of crypto/usd charts that market grew a lot since the pandemic started.
Moreover, crypto affected world economy in a very positive way for many developing countries in south america and africa especially

Crypto-market is doing great for some time, and some coins are preforming well during this hard times. Jademaxsuy I think there's
still more to come, Ethereum upgrade is yet to come, they postponed that.
I try to look everything from a positive side, and I stayed positive during this pandemic, I am still positive. I can say that this green
crypto-market helps me a lot in that!
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: September 02, 2020, 08:09:21 AM
Do not limit your token on base top 5.. If im i will look at top 100 cause there was still a lot of undervalued tokens out there that might be pump way more high then the top 5 are. Spread your research more widely you might come one to three projects that might be way more interesting then the top 5.

I agree with you Kerjakuat, people shouldn't limit themselves, the crypto-market is huge and there are many good and
undervalued projects. It's happened before, and we will see changes in top 20 again in the future, more than once I believe.
Therefore, we should pay attention on projects that have potential to make progress and get better rank in the future.
Spread your research and try to pay attention on more projects, you will have more chances to find some hidden gem.
