Bitcoin is dragging the whole altcoin market down because all these other coins base their value off of Bitcoin. I'm not sure why anyone in cryptocurrencies right now would not know that any other cryptocurrency bases their value off of the value of BTC which means BTC is king. It is sound money and it will always be that way because of the people and effort being put into the network.
Reason: When bitcoin makes upper trends, mote traders and whales come to bitcoin and buy it. With that will they buy bitcoin? Of course they will sell their altcoins to buy bitcoin. That's how it works. |

What is future to you? 1 year, 5 years 20 years? and what are you calling survive?
I think all coins who are now over a 1 million marketcap will be also popular in the future, some more some less.
Instead of getting in this never ending debate, i will follow simple rule that coins that are on Poloniex and Bittrex are the well known coins and they have good volume and popularity and they will survive for a long term maybe for 2 to 5 years or even more. For the rest of the coin, if they can go through a year or so, it would be great achievement for them. Stable altcoins will survive forever as long as the cryptocurrency sector survives without a major problem. We can give instances such as ripple, ltc, etc, eth, xmr xrp and simlar things. |

Yep, I agree and I can suggest the same. First of all these two coins are really like "father" and "mother" of crypto currencies and the main thing is that they probably will not decrease or go down. Of course it is not 100% but they have more chances to survive and go to the moon than other coins. BTC and ETH are old, sustainable and high potential crypto currencies and I think everyone should hold these two coins for long-term period. But hold not only these two ones, a man should hold other perspective ones too, but to choose which ones are perspective - is all upon you. Read, investigate, learn - make a decisions and invest. Yes, that's right. BTC and ETH are two kings of the market. Without worries, I would directly make my investment in them. The return of these two coins would be really satisfying compared to other altcoins and ICO stuff. |

I don't think so. Remember what happened before the christmas in 2016. The price started to make a sharp rise in december and this lasted in february 2017. The same pattern may apply again. |

Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.
Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?

I do not agree with the idea of bank for bitcoin. If you want to withdraw or send to BTC, it will take a lot of time Banks are centralized, so how come one can accept this idea? It can't be accepted by us as the bitcoin community. |

China banned bitcoin like 5 times in the past, this "news" isn't even news nor has it anything to do with the recent correction in the market. People take profit in any market and that is what is happening.
The regulation calls all these fundraising techniques "illegal" when that is something they just came up with right now and will likely blow over as soon as they see how stupid their decisions are.
We can't do nothing against china. They think they can control bitcoin community, but this won't happen, never-ever. We'll be keep being free and support our digital assets. They may ban it, forbide it, we don't care. The future will be brighter than ever for bitcoin and us. |

If you think the price will decline much more than this, it's time to sell. You can get more bitcoins with same fiat money. But this is not a certain fact, up to the investor. To me, it's not right time to sell now. |

I couldn't create relationship between bitcoin and unbanked people. Bitcoin doesn't give people bank or banking functions. It only gives people free btc transfer method. Having bitcoin doesn't mean you have money unless you can liquidify this BTC.

We currently may find over 900 active cryptocurrencies and the number is growing. I assume that this is not so good because the limited number will give the more transparent exchange and transaction terms - for example, 10 or 20.
What do you think - the number of cryptocurrencies should be limited or the market should be completely free and the strongest ones will survive?
There is no point on limiting the number of total currencies. Anybody has an idea should be eligible to issue his own tokens within the blockchain. This is how we can get more variety of coins on the market. Strong ones will have a better demand. |

One of the things that gets me thinking is when will the bubble burst and how many lives will be destroyed. With all that positivity around bitcoin i just needed to say this. It detests me a bit actually how a lot of threats are about buying lambo's and stuff. We are all looking for financial freedome here and i get that, but the market will burst like it allways does. And people who entered at the top will lose everything. The real question is not will it end poverty cause it wont, it will eventually stagnate and reach a cap. What do uyou think will be that cap? Can some of the smart guys do a wild guess compared to historical events?

For the record, too many people think i am talking about a bubble right now. I'm not... i don't care about these "small" fluctuations. I am seeing a future where crypto is implemented in our everyday life and where you and me will be the few who got rich because of early adopting even with just a few coins. I am talking about the bubble in 10-20 years like the tulip mania bubble in 1936. Allso please don't think that bitcoin will still be !the coin! Because That sounds really narrowminded. Many actually say bad things because their definition is when a Altcoins Dump falls and the Pump goes up. Which is wrong because the real pump & dump is high enough and it also crashes quickly. And because that's another person's teaching so they're stocks of knowledge that's really wrong. We do not want them to blame because they are just novices. It is better to teach them to develop the world of btc
To me, this is not a problem of definition. This is a problem of negative effect. When they generate major price fluctuations, this damages regular users. Majority of them lose their assets and money. On the other hand, no need to blame like you mentioned. |

Where is it moving up? I just checked the price 5 minutes ago. It's totally stuck at 0.00005797 BTC and they never let it to move up. When it moves up, they create sell Wall above it and this makes GUP drop down. |
