Haha what a saint.

He is. That should prove he is not a greedy "botnet" hoarder like some of you seem to think he is. All of these coins will go to bounties and to people who help promote the coin. The difficulty will go up, and you won't have to worry about so many orphans with a low timed coin. Smiley

why do we always have to have some butthurt people?

Totally agree. It seems that this one guy is totally butthurt, what a shame  Grin

I'm going to assume, the diff is 0? Lemme know when the botnets are done with it...Doesn't this look a lot like DGC....

Ok, I will tell you when I'm done, please turn off you rigs and go sleeping

lol, I love you man. You got 50K yet?

1k, I've just started

OP, you see your fuck up yet??

If a coin is destined to survive, it will. Just because 1 is getting more than x, does not make it a "shitcoin"...

Your right, everyone loves a coin, that only a few people can mine the shit out of...Wasting hashing time for Orphans, is awesome, when you could be mining a coin, with value...Anyone else disagree?

So, these coins with value. Did they not start as every other coin did? Some coins make it because of their name, some make it because of their design, and some make it just becasue people want it to. If you don't like this coin. Then why waste your time instead of hashing power writing in this post?

Guys if there was a way to limit orphans and rejects, believe me I would. Give it time, and patience, and the coin will succeed. If there was a way to stop botnet's, I would stop them, but it is a fact of life. Sad

I've never seen such a blind gang, have you noticed that most of the anti-alt coin rhetoric has disappeared? And then somehow, a record breaking alt-killer adds coins on a daily basis? real sites wait and watch to see a coins future, eg btc-e and gox, even bter is more cautious after the cnc fiasco. You guys maybe mine a coin worth something today, then tumar you guys are trading at an average of 30 ltc per 1k, then jus because the "official " site says 1 ltc per 100000, you all folow their lead. You are letting yourselves be convinced that your product is worthless, but wait and see in a month, they will sell you your coins at current docs prices or higher. it's your loss anyway, this is a community of open ideas, try yours, i'll work with mine. Sound mnd, sound decisions, RESOUNDING profits.

Hanzi Big Vern, who is big vern to value your product? So what if the man has pools? are all his pools free? NO! everyone wants to profit and pay the bills. Once you realise tz a dog eat cat world, you'll be more canine.

Actually, yes, my pools are free.   I don't set the value on the market, the users do.

BigVern

This ^ I did go and check my records to the pools and they add up. He is not trying to devalue any coins. Quite the contrary if he is listing it on an exchange out of his OWN resources. Get real people.  Roll Eyes
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Abort Cryptsy on: May 24, 2013, 08:34:01 PM
I have watched the progress of this new "exchange", in short, alt coin miners are getting duped and they are falling for it. Have you looked at the standing buy orders for every new coin? they are all the same price asking for similar amounts. That site is rigged to make sure alt coins fail by devaluing them. We are the suppliers, ergo we have a say in the price, i motion we drop that site off the forum completely and ignore them until they get serious, my word, in 3 days they killed 6 alt coins that actually were gaining a following.

I did find it quite odd that the exchange is moving at such a small rate. Meh, ill stick to mcxnow anyways    Undecided

Going to try and get my pool relaunched tonight, with custom backend (no more PPLNS).

- blocks paid out after 80 confirms
- 1 block = 1 "round"
- shares paid out immediately after 80 confirms, in full, based 100% on how many shares you mined in that round. 0 shares that round? 0 coins, 50% of pools shares? 50% (-2%) coins.
- clear values showing "Un-Paid Shares" which equates exactly to the # of shares you have held up in un-confirmed blocks

The goal is to ensure payouts are as clear and accurate as possible.  No more guessing if your share counts are accurate or why your estimated/actual payout seems off, or why you aren't getting as many coins as you should because you've only been mining at the pool for an hour or two.   You'll be able to tell right away how many shares you've mined vs. the pool and you'll get your coins p2pool-ish quick!

I've tested as best I can, confirming share counts and payouts ect.  Its a 2% pool fee, and  have run through many scenarios confirming the pool always pays out 98% of every coin earned.  (including finding a seemingly double-fee bug in the old software that was doubling the standard pool fees on each transaction).

If anyone is interested in helping me out a bit with some 'beta testing', let me know.  Its new, there may be issues, but if you've got some patience I think it'll be worth your while.  In any event, anyone jumping on board early will be paid for there coins no matter what, even if the thing somehow crashes and burns.  I like this coin and don't plan on going anywhere!

I'm game email me at dsx@riseup.net Ill be a ginuea pig Cheesy

I'm starting to think people use coinchoose a little too much in their mining decisions. Once WDC got a little higher than DGC is profitability the net hash of DGC started going down.
Don't get me wrong, I would rather have it this way. More DGC for me.
