1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: February 27, 2018, 11:53:41 PM
Theres a lot of reason how can altcoin makes valuable like for example if the project attract more people to patronize their project it can make project alive and if the altcoin have a high chance to boom in the future because of active developer and awesome technology that will click in the market.
That only makes a project a good coin to speculate a good coin most of the time has the same ingredients, a good developer team, an innovative idea, a realistic road map and the support of the community, find a coin with all of those aspects and you are looking at a coin that will succeed and become a major coin in a few years, if it is missing some pieces you could still make money and if does not have anything of that then the coin is trash and you should never invest in it.
1002  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I love this Bitcoin crash on: February 27, 2018, 11:50:20 PM
this crash  provides  us opportunity to buy more bitcoins,  however not only bitcoin also  another  altcoins you can buy with  great discount.
When you see the whole market being red that is a sign there is a sale going on and that you can acquire all the coins for a huge discount, this can be great if you have the money to invest in the market, if you do not then it is a time of holding your coins and not the time to sell as many people that panic do, following that simple pattern you can make money unfortunately many do the opposite and lose money as a result.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 27, 2018, 11:42:29 PM
welp. i still believe in a few more trains coming in the next few years Smiley Ark and RLC maybe?
Many new opportunities come every month but in order to find them you to invest a huge amount of time and effort and that is not something that everyone can do since many of us have jobs and other occupations that does not allow us to invest as much time as those that may dedicate their full time to bitcoin and altcoins, but if you are diligent you will eventually find an opportunity to make money.
1004  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin reach 25k$ on: February 27, 2018, 10:58:38 PM
I dont know why but i feel that bitcoin can reach 50k$ one thay...bitcoin must to be more organized and the people must trust it more and more because bitcoin is a revolution
Bitcoin can definitely reach that price eventually but many are not going to be able to hold until that day they are simply not patient enough, just think about it, how much time bitcoin holders needed to wait just to see bitcoin above 1000 and how long we needed to wait to reach a price of 10000 so we will have to wait many years for that to happen and many new investors do not want to wait, they want to become rich in just a matter of weeks or months.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is recovering? on: February 25, 2018, 02:42:28 AM
I'm glad that the bitcoin price is back in its ideal position of over $ 10k, I'm sure that prices will continue to skyrocket and this year will never drop below $ 10k as it did some time ago. it's time to buy because it's cheap now and we'll get a big profit this year.
The price went below 10k again not by much but it did, this means the price does not have as strong of support as we thought but it does not matter the price is going to hold close to that range for sometime and then it will begin to increase once again when people start to see the improvements on the network done by the developers, it will be a slow process but I think it will happen before the end of this year.
1006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: February 25, 2018, 02:35:56 AM
crypto is better becuase with high risk comes great profits which we dont see in forex
You can still get huge profits in forex you just need to use leverage the problem as you may guess is that the more leverage you use the easier it is to go bankrupt since the market only needs to go in the direction you do not want for some time in order to force you to close your position and lose all the money you have invested in forex until that moment.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 24, 2018, 04:24:11 AM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?
Everything I have belongs to my family anyway so it is not like I need to take any kind of special strategy to benefit my family if I benefit then everyone benefits, since I'm mostly a holder that means that I have kept most of the bitcoin I have ever earned and I do not have any plan to make any change to my strategy at least for the time being.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the worst thing did you did in crypto world? on: February 24, 2018, 04:21:42 AM
I didn't remeber the name but I did left my wallet id to an unknow person on fb and the next day I found the wallet hacked Sad
When it comes to your bitcoin remember to never trust in anyone, the world of crypto is merciless and you only need to make one mistake in order to lose everything you have worked so hard, especially people over the internet you do not know, bitcoin is very valuable and it is going to become even more valuable in the future even a single bitcoin could in theory change your life in the future so take care of them.
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made? on: February 24, 2018, 04:17:53 AM
We always hear people posting about their awesome trades and/or gains but very rarely hear about the stupid things that people do. With that in mind, let's hear the biggest brainfarts you've had while trading crypto...

The worst decision about trading I ever did was I bought a coin when the price went down but it turns out the coin prices continue to fall and now I can only hold it and wait for the price back up because I do not want to lose. by selling it cheaply
As long as the price difference is not that great then you could have made a good investment that is simply going to take sometime before it gives you profits but if you bought at a price that was too high then that could be considered to be a mistake and as you said your only real option is to hold for a long time and hope everything turns out to be OK.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA a best investment to put $1000? on: February 23, 2018, 03:10:02 AM
I've 250 IOTA tokens bought in  November under $1 and for some reason never thought of buying more as there isn't much going on with it. Also there are some doubts on tangle technology as no projects has been built on its platform. At same time many still believe 2018 will be the biggest year for IOTA.

Started to thinking whether to buy more Iota with $1000 or invest the amount to increase positions  in to ITC and ICON. What do you guys suggest?
You do not say what are your expectations for your investment, if you are willing to hold for a long time then putting that money in IOTA could be a good idea, but 1000 dollars is not really a lot of money so if I were you I will look for new and promising coins and invest in one of them, yes it will be risky but with so little money it may be worth to try to hit a coin that moons than to play it safe and get small profits.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: February 23, 2018, 03:05:55 AM
Maybe companies will have to move over to other social medias like Twitter and Instagram. Don’t know about Reddit, but it ain’t a place for promoting.

It's of no use. The major social media platforms are cleaning house, and thus will result in similar practices of these platforms overall. The main point is that the multinationals having billions of dollars as marketing budged, have started to demand for critical changes of the social media platforms. To put force behind their words, they have started to reduce their marketing budged that would usually flow into Google, Facebook, Youtube, etc. That very well explains the sudden policy changes of these social media platforms, and it will only get worse. All these social media platforms thrive on ad revenue, and the multinationals know that, and aren't shy of demanding more changes. If this gets taken out of proportions too much, we'll only be left with my little pony ads on social media. Cheesy
This is just another example of why decentralization is needed, whenever centralization occurs that becomes a point of failure, altcoins and icos depend on social media to spread the word about their projects, but since those websites only care about the money they can get from ads then it is easy to manipulate them in order to comply and do what it is in the best interest of banks.

1013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PLEASE LET ENCOURAGE THE MARKET BY START BUYING AND STOP SELLING: on: February 20, 2018, 10:21:50 PM
Though a laudable idea but I think this will be like artifica price manipulation. The market must be determine demand and supply so that real price can be achieved.
Yes and since it is an artificial demand the price will be impossible to be maintained and in fact this could produce and even bigger crash which is why you need to let the markets do their thing even if that means that in the short term you get painful losses it is better to get that out of the way so we can begin the recovery as soon as possible and this is exactly what it is happening with bitcoin, we hit rock bottom and after a few weeks its price has almost doubled due to the natural demand.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: February 20, 2018, 10:18:35 PM
Well, where's the news? Everybody who had Bitcoins in those days and has either sold them for peanuts or gifted them to someone has virtually lost them, since they've got nothing for them and now they would be able to get millions of $. Moreover, most people would have lost quantities by far bigger than 103 Bitcoins.
The point is that Bitcoins were worth nothing back then. And there was no way to predict they would become so valuable in future.
While you are correct it is not exactly the same those that sold their bitcoin at least got something out of it even if it was very little money but those that lost it did not got anything, so while the end result may seem similar the truth is that is not the same this is why those that sold at a bad price can probably eventually accept their mistake while those that lost them will probably never forget it.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: February 20, 2018, 10:13:43 PM
I understand Bounty managers who use KYC in order to avoid multiplication of cheaters... but it kills the essential of Cryptos : anonymity.
I did KYC once for an airdrop, and it resulted positive (Polymath). I wouldn't send selfie with ID card for a project I'm not sure of.

That is not the reason they are now obligated by law and they want to avoid people from certain countries to participate in their icos and the only way for this is to ask for your id and your information, it sucks and I do not like that is why I will probably avoid to participate in any bounties campaign from now on since I think privacy is important and something we must defend.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: February 20, 2018, 10:10:40 PM
I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm.
I wonder how many more girls are in this forum?
Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!
I do not see this as a relevant topic, there is nothing stopping anyone from joining and using cryptocurrencies, so if you want to join the forum, create an account, it is not difficult and it is free and you will learn a lot from it, many users in the forum do not reveal their sex, color of the skin or their religion because it is no relevant to their skills or their desire to earn crypto.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 20, 2018, 10:06:33 PM
It's good to think in a positive way, but you need to have attention to not fall in usual new age bullshit.
Positive thinking is useful only if it brings to positive action, otherwise it's just daydreaming.
I agree with this, being positive is OK but we must not fall in the mistake of thinking you need to always be positive or happy about the results if the market is bleeding red then it makes sense to be upset only an idiot will be happy of losing money with a crash in the market, the realization of the truth is what help us to take the right decision at the right time.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 10:02:53 PM
I wasn't lucky to invest in those coins before their incredible rise. Quite honestly I regret it and quite envious of others who had. But that's life I guess. Risk none, win none.
Don’t worry, if one train is missed there are more to come. Just relax and prepare yourself for having a best journey and this can only be possible if you start working on what is better for you. Research about bitcoins and imitate the results that whether this will suit your needs or not, and if it is so, don’t waste any other moment and get a ticket for this train. Be patient and wise in your decision making.
This is why it is important to try to get as much money as we can in bitcoin and other cryptos, and it is important as well to diversify our investments, if you do that then that means you have more chances to pick the right coin at the right time and make money that way, now that means you need to take some risks but the rewards are totally worth it.
1019  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I love this Bitcoin crash on: February 19, 2018, 05:33:15 PM
As much as I hate people losing money, I'm always amused by those posts like "bitcoin is crashing, omg sell!" or something along those lines, especially from people on crypto Facebook groups. Those kinds of people who things bitcoin will rise in price forever like seriously 🙄.
They lack common sense, everyone that was honest with himself knew a crash was coming and that you needed to be prepared for it when the crash came it was bigger than I expected but since I knew it was coming I was able to hold without any issues but those that thought bitcoin was going to go up forever were surprised by this and since they were in bitcoin only to make money so as soon as the market reversed they sold.
1020  Economy / Speculation / Re: Number of crypto hedge funds surges amid bitcoin volatility on: February 19, 2018, 05:29:40 PM
It is interesting to say the least, new money was coming we knew that since the rise was so abrupt it was impossible this was just the general public getting bitcoin and pushing the price up, since it seemed some kind of concerted effort to buy bitcoin consistently and now we get this, the only thing I can say is this is good news since hedge funds manage a lot of money and it makes sense to think they are not going to stop investing in bitcoin for a long time.
