1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's stupidity to have thousands in Bitcoin using a software wallet on: February 06, 2024, 02:18:52 AM
It's not stupidity now let me tell you why.
A lot of Bitcoin users have over $10,000 worth of Bitcoin on their online wallets and not a cold wallet now this is because people like this are business persons who transact constantly with Bitcoin and putting it on a hardware wallet will make it more difficult for them to make quick transactions.

The cautions that come with using an online open source wallet like Electrum is mainly to keep your keys and seeds safe. The only problem is that when your keys are online they are more easily compromised than when they are stored offline. One has to even be careful when storing keys offline as theft and burglary can also compromise them.

Majority of people that use cold wallets for Their Bitcoins actually do it for their hodlings since they don't have to visit it frequently.
explained well there mate , and the thread is actually nonsense at all and he does not really understand the market and the usage  as if you are using your crypto from time to time so how hard and not appropriate to use  hardware wallet as you need to pull out your coins from time to time, maybe it is applicable to store in hard wallet at night after transacting and pull out again the next day and that I think if he really wanted to show security using.

1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025 on: February 05, 2024, 02:02:14 PM
I have my share of doubt with ORDI with so many people opposing the ordinal inscription, meanwhile solana is good, but the rest are kinda old coin only ethereum that stands out probably the rest Im not really sure.
i would settle with newer coin though L2 L1 thats okay as long as its new coin that also have hypes around it, I think these new coin are better for investment long term until 2025 because as you know they are still in their early stage of growth and if they can grow really good they might become the second matic or something which mean significant increase in market capitalization as well as significant increase in price.
with coin like BNB i have even more doubts because the changing of CEO there can be some drastic decision that might oppose the previous CEO decision like for example minimizing utility for the BNB token. its just possible with the new CEO also the reason why i don't really favour exchange token, if the exchange itself tries to do something to it they can do it easily and the price will drastically change.

I don't think it will be much different from the current L2, they will only develop a few differences, there must be a project that can change a problem, or have a new solution that will become the next boom.
What kind of project should it be? and as i see almost everyone of them are just promising this and that but ending nothing but just to make money from investors .but if we can share ideas to what would be the best solution then we must bring this to the concerned forum.
1007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 05, 2024, 01:35:06 PM
A friend of mine came to me and we were having a conversation and I was trying to introduce he to the forum, but he turns out that I was asked if I really trust and believe in bitcoin it will never crash like other cypto industry.

I want know if it will not crash and I need help to convince him about it that it will not crash because am a beginner and I haven't know much about bitcoin so I guess been here I will fine help to assist my friend to join the forum.
If you cannot depend bitcoin then how can you lure people inside it? you have been here in the forum for quite a long now yet know nothing about bitcoin? sounds not legit mate because I believe that engaging in this forum will at least give you enough understanding about what and how good bitcoin is.
1008  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is buying like me on: February 05, 2024, 12:53:05 PM
Bitcoin Etf approval brought joy to our faces, yes another win for bitcoin, then how much more would the next halving bring,  right now all I'm doing Is buying, I was DCAING gently before, but right now no one hold me, no more gentle buys, cause right now I'm pumped, I'm dancing for the bull run, I wasn't part of the last halving cause just recently started my bitcoin journey and I can't wait to brag about beign one of the next bull run partakers. Start buying 🦾
Count me in mate .

Have bought in 38k recently and yeah happy seeing the price staying at 43k now , I may consider selling if the value drops down to 41k again but for sure will buy more when the dump comes before or after the halving .

I am focusing in Buying and selling and not completely Hodling , maybe because I have known the market for years and in Halving season I have seen also the momentum and the chance of buying.
1009  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: February 05, 2024, 12:42:51 PM

Nevertheless, OGs in gambling should not hesitate to impart the newbies with the wealth of experiences they have gathered over the years in the space
But is it useful?
I don't think so because many beginners don't care and don't really have the mindset to learn from experience.
Experience can be the best teacher for learning in finding or determining every decision that must be taken, but beginners are more dominant in thinking about maintaining their belief that betting more will increase their chances of winning.
This is one of those thoughts that will only lead to mistakes but it always happens.

In my opinion, it is clear that experience in gambling will only be useful to minimize defeat, which is for example you learn from many other people's experiences whether they are positive or  negative and about this experience of course you can only take something good, or that means you should not follow the bad experiences they have experienced and this is the point of learning from other people's experiences.
Actually in gambling there is no learning from other peoples experiences because gamblers will act as how they wanted it no matter
what the consequences is , and also what I do see in gambling world? that most gamblers has that high Pride that they don't wanted
to be told of what and how it is and they only wanted to do what they think is right so the ending? becoming an addict without guidance.

Quote
The point is that they can't take anything  from other people's experiences that lead to victory, because people manage to get victory only because the situation is really on their side, or that means they are lucky so they can get victory, we have to admit that gambling is a game of probability that has absolutely no certainty and guarantees of anything and this is what makes you can only learn something from other people's experiences so that you don't get caught in problems or situations like those they have experienced.
Gambling = LUCK that is the reality here , if you think you can beat the house because you are knowledgeable and experienced?
then you are wrong because without luck on your site , you will go home with nothing but sadness.
1010  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting without losing your money/no need for deposit on: February 05, 2024, 12:27:57 PM
None of the things in this word is free ~xd

Trying to meet the minimum withdraw just by using (Faucet) 99,999999% it's impossible, also sorry for my bad during visiting your website. It's just me or I feel like visiting a p*rn site (to many ads) ~xd.

My advice, It's better not gambling (If you don't have any money).
Sounds like Freebitco.in in which impossible to withdraw the faucet gain each spins  Grin Grin  anyway  Am not a fan of faucet anymore because it makes me spend my time without gaining anything .

and also the title seems misleading , I thought this is really a gambling site that offers something impossible , gambling without losing money sound it seems lol.
1011  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money vs Education on: February 05, 2024, 11:53:38 AM
Well people would and will go for money but just a question why do more than 90% of people think money is the greatest of all things?? in the world

Most people do say money is the reason why

human must have education is this true??

Cause from my own point of view education is the

key to success, but a second thoughts how many

millionaire's in your area’s  didn’t go to college and

they have made it without education, so does this

means education is a scam?

OP I leave this to you guys for more understanding

Don't make things complicated , Money is important  and education is important .

You work  , you earn money , you study you will work and you earn money.

so cycle remains and this is how it works , we need to work for money , either having education or not but we need to make money .
1012  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you spend a lot of time on screen? on: February 04, 2024, 06:04:35 AM
Well, that's a really good question.

I spend almost 10 hrs a day on the screen despite I don't have to work.

Almost most of the time I would be on social media wasting my time rather than using it to productive cases.
wow thats long mate ,  I think you still young that's why you can carry having infront of computer that long because I can stand maximum of 5hrs
and after that My eyes will feel tired and dizzy .
maybe because of my age but this is the reason why I  only using my lappy for 5 hrs then stop . but you must give importance to your eye health mate.

1015  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best crypto poker site? on: February 03, 2024, 09:22:20 PM
Sup guys. What is the best cryptopoker site in your opinion?
I have been using some different, but i am sure I dont know every site...
Which one is the best in your opinion? Help me out to find a new home Smiley
There will be bias answers to this question as there are lots of sites that each gamblers/players use to play and become their favorite.
With this meaning many will answer depending to their respective list of sites that has been generous to them.

Maybe it is better for you to check each site that has advertising here and learn from yourself as this is what I am doing as well before completely dealing with that site.
And mostly they have either fee coins or a good at demo games

My withdrawals have been stuck on "pending manual" for a week.  What's up?
Why need to wait for a week before asking ,the first 24 hours is enough to check what should be happening but since your are here now best to directly message LL or have not you call out in chatbox?

Anyway there are some cases about the hotwallet have not replenished so kindly wait for some time because mone of the pending withdrawal stocked for long as it doesn't was given ,not unless your account is in questions then that is different matter
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: February 03, 2024, 09:08:11 PM
Hey house someone need a few clips here, don't know if a post of this exact nature has been discussed though.

In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and the family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.

Would it help if  one of the couple quit for the other and if that's the case who should quit for who.
They should stop both for the sake of fairness and also for their family because gambling will never bring them better but problem.

Why not focus in life?bringing their children in best understanding than learning gambling with them in the future.

They will never be a good example and good influence for the kids so either they both stop gambling or they will gamble forever.

And also why on earth that they are the same gamblers? This is a rare situation.

1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PornCoin - Invest in PornCoin and become an actor in porn movies on: February 03, 2024, 08:46:26 PM
I have an idea for a porncoin.....each staker of some amount of porncoin will be invited to participate in a porn movie. The owners of porncoin receive the revenue of the porn movies produced.
What do you say about that?
Please I don't wanna be invited 😅🤣

Instead of spending money just to watch and be watching as pornstar I would rather use the money to pay hookers 😅🤣

Is this how people see crypto scamming now? Or rather fooling people here? You are underestimate the capacity to think of people here.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be stolen? on: February 03, 2024, 08:38:57 PM
We all know that bitcoin was earlier stolen by James "Jimmy" Zhong
James Zhong is an American man who was convicted in 2022 for stealing over 51,680 bitcoin (then worth about $620,000; value as of 2023 approximately $3.4 billion) from the online black market Silk Road between 2012 and 2014.He was also involved in the early development of bitcoin,he found an error on Silk Road that allowed him to withdraw more funds than what was initially deposited. This was activated by repeatedly double clicking the withdraw button, and further abused by using multiple accounts on the website. Zhong managed to conceal his identity and elude detection for nearly 10 years. He lived a luxurious lifestyle, using tools such as cryptocurrency mixers to obscure the origin of the bitcoin he spent. In 2019, he made a mistake by transferring a small amount of stolen bitcoin to a cryptocurrency exchange that followed know-your-customer rules. The IRS's criminal investigation division then tracked him down.
Source link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Zhong#

It turns out that Bitcoin stealers target not only big companies but individual users with modest amounts in their crypto wallets.
What is important here is that the man was arrested meaning even if what he can advanced in Bitcoin yet he will be behind bars.

Now bitcoin is one of the safest way to invest digital currency. Because of its new and improved security system it makes it hard for hackers and thief to access
Remember you mentioned here that this is the safest way to invest.then why below you still asked for this?
Quote

So now the question is bitcoin safe from hackers?, can it be stolen?
If you believe this is the safest then you should not ask this?
But Bitcoin can be stolen as this has happened many times if you are lazy and stupid enough not knowing how to keep safe your assets.
