Every gambler comes from a family so the biggest part of their income must be used for the family. Gamblers usually try to spend a large portion of the money for family and other necessary expenses. But here is another thing we have to consider that this gambling may be different for those who have higher income. But overall I agree with you that if someone spends 5 percent of his income on gambling it will not be a burden for anyone. If Pakistan could score 300 runs like last match, they will have chances to win this match too but the Pakistan team will also try their hardest to win this match as there is an opportunity to climb to the top of the ODI rankings which they will not want to miss. Yes of course that was an interesting match. Afghanistan tried well. But unfortunately they were close to the victory but they failed to chase the target. Afghanistan made 300 runs but the target was 302. And now the Pakistan won the series. There is the last match which will be played tomorrow. And I hope Pakistan will win again.  Yesterday match was very competitive. For both Afghanistan and Pakistan, it was a tense affair towards the end of the game. By the observation of the entire match, we can say if Afghanistan could have scored a few more runs they might have won the match. We saw that Pakistan needed 49.5 overs to win with only 1 wicket in hand. I would say that even if Afghanistan lost the match, they deserved to be applauded. I thought that Afghanistan might not be able to put up any resistance against Pakistan any match. But they dispelled those fears in the 2nd match of the series. Hope they will fight hard and try to win in the last match of the series. |

After the embarrassing loss in the first ODI, Afghanistan's batters demonstrated a strong response in the second ODI against Pakistan. The Afghan openers, Zadran and Gurbaz, played a wonderful game today. I truly enjoyed their performance, it was pure class, and they avoided any reckless shots. It's a positive sight to witness their comeback. Also, the pitch seems to be favoring the batters. The match could get even more interesting if the Afghan bowlers manage to turn things in their favor later on.
Yes, Afghanistan is showing very professional game in 2nd ODI against Pakistan. Can't imagine they are batting 24 overs without losing a wicket and the runs aren't too bad. If they can perform like this then I don't know what they will do against Pakistan but they will have a good chance in the Asia Cup. But the main thing is the consistency of their performance. Afghanistan bowlers have done quite a good job but there batsmen failed to perform there duty. This is first time Pakistan have won so easily against Afghanistan. Still Pakistan need to be careful in next two matches as Afghanistan is an unpredictable team and they have the tendency to fight back in upcoming matches. Pakistani batting lineup also need to play with caution, if they continue to give such performance in next matches then result might not be in there favour.
Afghan batting has been in very poor shape for quite some time. Their bowlers are very popular across the various franchise T20 leagues. But for some unknown reason, they don't even have a single quality batsman. Hashmatullah Shahidi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz have featured in a few franchise leagues, but these players are inconsistent. Ideally, given that Afghanistan is being gifted with such talented bowlers (Rashid, Noor, Mujib.etc), they should be able to perform well in ODI cricket. But everytime, their poor batting is costing them matches. A really embarrassing loss in the first ODI. After that defeat, they're putting in a lot of effort to recover. Afghan batters are really committed to improve their batting skills, while their bowling and fielding look quite promising. Fans are optimistic about that their team's performance in the upcoming second and third ODI matches against Pakistan. And success comes from hard work. Pakistan's score was relatively low but they won by a wide margin when they bowled out their opponents Afghanistan for just 59 runs. As such I would say Pakistan is in their track. On the other hand, Afghanistan's position is not good. Of course it depends on lots of moment like how much money he get, how much time he spend, etc. And in your example i think that this woman knows about her father`s problem but send him money anyway. It is only her mistake. And her father has more money for gambling and can continue waiting big win. He must lose the opportunity for gambling, only after it he can think about his deeds. I think the lady believed her father. Maybe the lady never imagined that her father would become so addicted to gambling. It's absolutely unwise for a financial dependent to gamble and should be condemned by anyoone who's around such person. Over the years, I've seen very young people who are still surviving with the financial assistance of their parents or guardians use money that was meant for something very serious like school fees, money meant hospital bills and sometimes money that was given to them to go and buy food items using such money to gamble.
They end up losing the financial trust of their parents and guardians because of their very silly decisions to gamble with those money.
Honestly, I am very concerned about incidents like this but there is not much we can do to stop them and only self-awareness can stop or control these gambling activities. Maybe if there is socialization and also educational services for youth it can put more pressure on the increasing number of gamblers classified as teenagers or students who are currently mushrooming in every country. At this age a gambler cannot be identified unless he reveals the matter himself because a gambler is getting all kinds of benefits from sitting at home. If a gambler realizes on his own that he may be addicted or has pushed himself into a hostile environment from which he needs a way out, he will find a way to control himself there if he can explain addiction well to those gamblers. Ramiz Raja is the one who talked about national dignity but Najam Sethi talked about money. The new government of Pakistan didn't even bothered to resist rather agreed on everything proposed by BCCI. Now India will not come to Pakistan for Asia Cup but Pakistan will go to India for World Cup. Next is icc championship trophy and same episode will be repeated by India.
Previous PCB Chairman Raja is taken strict action and stood on Asia Cup if India come to Pakistan. Pakistan Will go to India for the world cup but now current PCB chairman Najim is not taken a stand on the Asia Cup. I think The main reason is Asia Cup is not an ICC event. ICC champion trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan. And every team come to Pakistan if any team doesn't come BCCI and another team. ICC will take action against him if which team doesn't come to Pakistan for the champion Trophy. I am not going to lie here but a fair amount of people in India were counting on such tactics but it was bad luck (For Indians) that PCB caved. BCCI or overall India in general wants Rambo (Immi) kind of people in charge of PCB (Pakistan). I won't dwell much on it but imagine what would happen if Pakistan actually boycott the World Cup. If you can grab the gist of it then i won't mind a productive discussion. If Pakistan boycott the World Cup some of the media will get in to make decisions on the venues or they'll try to make compromise talks. Rather than anyone it is the media that is making huge money out of the India vs Pakistan match. Surely one of the interesting part of World Cup could be left behind without Pakistan. Almost everyone will say the same thing that if Pakistan and India are not present in the World Cup then the World Cup will not get its full essence. The media will definitely look these two teams differently. They also now understand the value of India vs Pakistan matches. In the last T20 World Cup not only the media but also the organizers got a good idea about this issue.
