Messi would probably do the same thing he did before. He would rather be free agent first to see if he can get an agreement with Barcelona again. Then he would make his final decision about his future. If it doesn't happen then I think he would play for PSG one more year at least.
I don't think Messi will go to Arab or US leagues. He is a legend. He should leave football in a way that suits a legend. After the contract with PSG is finished, if he signed a 1 -year contract with Barcelona and leaves football, he will complete a great career. Messi does not need to go to Arab or US leagues. Messi will not be as helpless as Ronaldo. I think there will be big clubs that want to see him at least one more season in Europe. I can't really tell what is next for Messi whether or not he will continue his career at PSG. The Chelsea - Dortmund rematch can be quite interesting in Stamford Bridge. Chelsea were bad at finishing and unlucky at the same time in the first leg. As far as I can remember they had two absolute goal chances as well but wasted both of them. Dortmund somehow managed to get the win by 1-0. We could have watched more goals from both teams there actually. But it feels like we will be able to watch such match in the second leg.
Dortmund's priority will be to secure the current advantage and not to take big risks for no reason. But on the other hand I can't say they have a solid defense system right now. They will need to be effective in attacking as well in that case. Chelsea just need to be more capable this time. They can prevent the match from ending in 90 minutes above all else.
Definitely the return leg against Dortmund will be interesting and the fact that Chelsea lost in the first leg will make them want to win against all odds in this second leg. Dortmund will be fighting to get at minimum a draw to see them qualify to the next round. Chelsea have a more difficult task than Dortmund and I am excited to see how they can make it through. Tottenham are having another similar season to the previous ones now. They actually made a great start but things started to be upside down for them at a point. They started to show some weaknesses in defense especially which led them to draw or lose many matches. Now they are trying to stay in top four in the English Premier League at least for joining the Champions League again. And here they are still a part of this tournament now. They didn't get a favourable result against Milan in San Siro.
However I still believe in Tottenham to turn the tide and eliminate Milan. But it won't be easy. I think the regular time of the rematch will end with Tottenham's advantage by one goal. After that Tottenham will make it to the victory by penalties at worst.
Yeah, if they could make a comeback in previous season to finish within top four to qualify for the Champions league then it is also possible to do so this season. Tottenham are not performing too bad if you ask me and it wouldn't be surprising to see them make it considering Liverpool and Chelsea are not in a good position to compete against them for the position. |

Roma, who previously lost in the first leg, were finally able to turn things around on aggregate with a 2-0 win over opponents Salzburg at the Olimpico stadium. In fact, I even thought that there would be difficulties in this match, considering that on average they always score 1 goal in every game. But indeed Roma's mentality as one of Europe's big clubs is not in doubt and this result has made Mourinho's squad even more excited to win in the next game.
Something I have learnt this season is that when a team make its home a fortress, it improves your game and motivates you to win game played at home. Mane wasn't the only reason for the downfall of Liverpool. There have been many things going into the wrong direction this season. Klopp isn't as active on the sideline as he usually is as well. The other players play well below their usual level.
But regarding Osimhen, the problem is that most of the players follow the money. He can ask for a very good salary at Napoli, but when a club from the premier league wants him or another big one like Madrid or PSG or Barcelona, it would be more than surprising if he does decide against leaving Napoli. In a certain way Napoli is similar to Dortmund. They often have these great players, develop them and turn them into stars and then the very wealthy clubs knock on the door. I like to see when clubs succeed in keeping their squad together, but money dictates the way the game goes in the end.
Many people believe Mane is the reason why Liverpool have been struggling with poor form. I partially agree with them, but I believe that there is more to the situation than just Mane's departure. I don't expect any mistakes from Arsenal this week. The win over Aston Villa was really important for them to start the recovery phase. Because things started to go really bad for them until this victory. But they need to make this winning streak continue from now on. Leicester are one of the most unbalanced and unpredictable teams in the league. The 4-1 win over Tottenham is a good example really.
But Arsenal can beat them anyway with their much stronger strategies and game. They just need to be aware in defense not to give hope to Leicester.
Arsenal already knows that the league is becoming more challenging and any more looses from them, they will be overtaken either by Manchester city or Manchester United, So they really need to put more hard work and get more determined to beat any team they met and secure more points. I think their game against Leicester is a sure win for them but let’s still watch and see how it goes. The competition at the top of the table is indeed now very interesting as the fight for the trophy gets heated after Manchester City lost their lead just few days after they called level in points with Arsenal and have dropped two point below again. For me, the most interesting part is Manchester United finally finding their feet and rising up to 3rd place in the table and have now taken upon themselves the position of title contenders. |

Surprisingly City could not win without Kelvin. When I saw the line up without Kelvin I had my doubts. I knew Guardiola could not just leave Kelvin out. It was due to illness and City ended up in draw with Leipzig.
City should be hoping that the second leg Kelvin will be available so that they will be able to win Leipzig.
Certainly playing without Kevin De Bruyne is a problem for Manchester City. On many occasions it has showed that Kevin De Bruyne is the brainbox of City's defense and every game that Kelvin has been marked out it was always very difficult for Manchester City to score goals even their star player Haaland has always struggled to get goals in such cases. For many years, his role in the team included creating lots of chances and going ahead to score the winning goals for Manchester city. This game was a close one for Manx City and I think they will be comfortable with the draw and get ready for the next leg. |

Roma already had a decent enough season with Mourinho last year, they didn't do that well in the league maybe but they did well enough in Conference league and won it, on the other hand we are talking about them being much better in the league this year as well, even though they were missing some very important players.
I think it's clear to me that Abraham is going to make them get to that UCL levels, top 4 is not unlikely at this point and could happen. It's going to be not so easy to handle, but not impossible neither. One thing they need to do more is passing, right now they are relying too much on talent, a team passing style could help time to time.
Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world and given the best available players we know what Mourinho is capable of achieving. At the moment Roma need to make some additions to the squad, the owners needs to invest more in player purchase to improve the squad and boost the squad depth. That's really a big shock about the result. However, we can see how Atalanta tried to give so many attacks they were also very dominating the match,
Right, I think this is related to luck Atalanta has done the best but luck is not on their side 20 shots and 10 shots on target are proof Poor Atalanta I don't know whether they really underestimated their opponent or they were really only not lucky at that match. They really couldn't utilize those many chances to score at least one higher than Lecce. Because we all know how the performance of Atalanta is so far. That day becomes one of the worst days for them. With that loss, they lost the point and decreased their position on the standing again. Ronaldinho's son, Joao Mendes (17 yo) is set to sign with Barcelona's youth team. There are no game statistics from the previous club Cruzeiro. I also haven't seen any of Joao Mendes video clips but I assume his father's reputation should have some impact and evidence on him. We will see how well he will be able to adapt and fight his way into the first eleven if he signs. Leeds United have announced Javi Gracia as their new manager. I think it’s a decent appointment. He did well at Watford then unfairly treated like most temporary managers there. He led them to an FA Cup final and their best Premier League season. He took over Watford in a much better position than what Leeds are in now which might make his job even more challenging. But he could still do well as Leeds have some good players who might suit his style of play. I'd like to see Leeds stay up.
The club has finally taken a bold decision to change the current manager and Javi Garcia luckily emerged ad favourite for the job. I hope he will be able to deliver and bring Leeds out of tight corners, he had a good run at Watford, it is expected that he will do same at Leeds now. |

Potter thinks he isn't the main reason for Chelsea's bad run now. But I really don't know about this. It still feels like Tuchel would have made this team better if he was given more time. Chelsea should just find a fitting manager for the team before seriously thinking about sacking Potter. The right manager should be an experienced and successful one as well. Potter doesn't have a career in which he worked with big teams mostly. He just had a great time period with Brighton and impressed people.
Mourinho has been eager to go back to Chelsea according to speculations. But I'm not sure if he can make this team better. I don't like his style much when he adopts a cautious game after getting ahead in a match.
Of course it’s Potter fault. What else could be the reason for the poor run Chelsea is having if not bad management. Chelsea fans will be wishing Potter to get sacked the next minute even, Potter is not capable of managing a top side like Chelsea with studded with young and talented stars. I think Boehly misjudge Potter capabilities, he is better of coaching a smaller team like Brighton.
