Looks really hard for this week, this to happen maybe next week till Tuesday it can cross 300$ , yesterday it crossed 300$ and i was able to experience the surge as lots of people sold their coins that time and block was fully flushed with major transactions.

So when are the developers of Bitcoin going to fix the horrid transaction times of Bitcoin, waiting 35 minutes to 2 hours for a transaction to confirm one time is getting a bit ridiculous.
So the question remains what are the Bitcoin developers doing to fix this problem with transaction times we have been facing for the past year or more, that seems to keep getting worse as they ignore it and keep posting biased charts from unreliable sources.
35 minutes to 2 hours is nothing i have seen myself getting struck in 2 days delay for a single confirmation , and not say it i have seen my friends transaction vanishing from block chain and he eventually lost that bid. no matter , he was one of the early buyer of LTC which made that loss not significant , all you know is to utilize your conscience when buying and selling crypto as anything can happen any moment !
not only that some times you need to be a part of the whales that is manipulating in that moment, or you will lose for sure, no experienced trader can compete against an heavy manipulated market only the loss awaits you in that case I would not talk about the experienced trader rather i would talk about a common man , who trades for his amateur not as professional , always this insignificant bumb and dump will matter significantly in his happiness. For a amateur loss/win are just as two faces of the same coin but for professional loss can be fatal. |

i betted yesterday for oil and it took more than two seconds to place my bid and i eventually loss , this your system responsibility to make it quick , and i have see on that site bet being placed in the other second very quick but at that time it took more than 2+ seconds , i can prove that with all proofs.
it took more than 2.5 + seconds to place the bid and in that time value changed.
i do have seen here bid being placed in the next second 2 minutes ago
Bitcoin sent time and bid placed time can maximum vary 1 second , but not 2.5+ seconds.
sir then whats the point of "seconds"Trade.
I do have bitcoin transaction time and bet placed time , this is seconds trade and we play for seconds and if you make it delay for more than 2.5 seconds then there is no point of playing.

I don't think gambling is the only factor which affects the price factor, I don't think it is even a significant factor. There are so many trades happening in the btc world and not all are gambling, infact I don't think its more than 40%. There are miners which affect the price value and the most influence on price is of attention in media, news which really affects price because the more people are aware, the more are interested and the more invest in btc  The OP said Gambling is one of the Factor , not only. I think it is one of the minor but yet significant factor, I completely agree with you( Miracal ) that miners are the more who affect the most and the people using it , more people using bitcoins = more the price will be , can see the example now , Greece. |

Never trade with any arbitrary trader for paypal , as in maximum cases there is chance of charge back.
i will suggest you you trade via localbitcoins , open a trade there , click on quick sell , select payment mode as paypal , then click on only high trusted users.
this will ward away un-trusted people and will give you high inclination of not being scammed , but still there is probability of being scammed.
for most safer the choice is to trade with virwox , but eventually their fee is too much.
Remember btc/paypal trade are very much un-trusted.
