1001  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did Bitcoin Bring a Smile to Your Face? How Did You Make It Happen? on: August 03, 2023, 10:55:02 AM
... -snip- how Bitcoin has transformed lives, inspiring some individuals to even quit their jobs.
Bitcoin has changed a lot of people about people's financial life but don't have to quit their job to focus on Bitcoin because Bitcoin is not a job like a real job.
For those who think Bitcoin is a job, they use Bitcoin for trading and trading is a very risky activity because the market is very volatile. Trading requires special skills in contrast to investing.

It's heartwarming to imagine the joy on their faces.
Really can't see the faces of those who lost a lot of money on coins that are considered to be able to bring big profits investing in the promised project.

Re: Bitcoin Is Not Crypto, The SEC Confirms
Your interpretation may differ from the actual interpretation of the contents of the article you share.
It is very clear that Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that can be used as an investment asset and this Forbes article with the title Bitcoin Is Not Crypto, The SEC Confirms appeared today following the statement by The US Securities and Exchange Commission requesting Coinbase stop trading cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin which was published on July 31 with the title SEC asked Coinbase to halt trading in everything except bitcoin, CEO says.
The SEC's request to stop trading other than Bitcoin will raise various views from people and one of them comes from Martin Leo Rivers who is named a Contributor in the Forbes article.

Bitcoin is not crypto in my opinion because Bitcoin is a coin that has a clear vision among thousands of altcoin projects.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow to Buy Bitcoin is Not Advisable.Consider the Factors Before Doing That. on: August 02, 2023, 06:30:35 AM
-snip-

I came up with this topic because I was planning to borrow money to invest in bitcoin but when I looked at the risk involved, I have to give up the borrowing plan.
Good. It is not the best option to be able to invest in bitcoin. Borrowing money to be able to invest in bitcoin is something that needs to be avoided and at first glance you have found reasons why it needs to be avoided. The risk is quite high. One of them is that the profit target is not in accordance with the loan deadline that you have agreed on.

Try another approach that avoids the negative effects of borrowing to invest in bitcoin, such as using the amount of money available to trade with other coins that have the potential to bring quick profits that you can do and you can divert the profits to buy bitcoins even if the amount is not you get a lot.
1005  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Bagaimana Cara Mewariskan Wallet/Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2023, 10:45:29 AM

The US Securities and Exchange Commission asked Coinbase to halt trading in all cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin prior to suing the exchange, in a sign of the agency’s intent to assert regulatory authority over a broader slice of the market.

This is a very interesting interview.
Full support for Bitcoin as altcoins are mostly useless projects.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission's request for Coinbase to stop trading activity other than Bitcoin was appropriate, but they seemed to be playing a drama though I responded positively to their request.

It is amazing how Government already considers Bitcoin totally different than altcoins. Imagine what could happen to Bitcoin and altcoin's price if something like this happens in US?
Hopefully it will materialize slowly.

Maybe in the future Bitcoin will legally become very different from the other altcoins, which may have a positive impact on price. Bitcoin is already considered a commodity, but that didn't make much difference so far. But I believe it will in the long run.
Like in my country where Bitcoin is a commodity asset and not a means of payment. As an individual who continues to support Bitcoin I feel very lucky when the government does not prohibit us from dealing with crypto even as a commodity asset but they finally launch a crypto exchange under their control[1]. For an increase in the price of Bitcoin, it may not have an effect on the launch of this crypto exchange because in essence the increase and decrease in prices occurs due to issues and global impacts that occur.

If loss Dembélé, barcelona hasn't many option on right or left winger between reserve players not on the top performance, actually selling Dembélé is disappointed for Barcelona fans actually for defending their La Liga trophy next season.
There are Raphinha and Ferran Torres who can fill the right wing position because Raphinha and Ferran Torres can play in the right wing and left wing positions. Pedri and Gavi can also fill the left wing position even though their original position is central midfield.
Dembele is considered an important player for Barcelona coming from the mouth of Xavi Hernandez since he was appointed as head coach of Barcelona and words of praise for Dembele were spoken by Xavi while in the locker room.

The number of goals that Dembele managed to score in the 2022/23 season was 5. This number still makes Raphinha superior, scoring 7 goals.

Technical work has been completed.

The website design has been updated ☠️☠️
The web display is quite good and very comfortable for the user's eyes. I also want to congratulate you on the technical work done.
In addition to the overall web display design, the sinbad logo design is very cool with a pixelated concept.

Congratulations on the good work from me.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does cryptocurrency actually solve any problems? on: July 31, 2023, 08:04:16 AM
Been asked a couple of times, what problems does cryptocurrency solve, and what’s its unique value proposition compared to other cryptocurrencies or traditional financial systems.  Would love any other users take on this ..
Cryptocurrencies do not solve any problem because there are so many cryptocurrencies and mentions of cryptocurrencies are very common including shitcoins.
Bitcoin can solve problems and solutions to problems that Bitcoin has proven are freedom and independence. Freedom and independence are very broad if interpreted but the presence of Bitcoin people can get out of a bad system.
It covers privacy, decentralization, no third parties, easy and fast.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Does anyone use OBWallet (OBAndroid)? on: July 31, 2023, 07:29:55 AM
I've searched the play store but the application called the wallet doesn't come out. In Google search, there are also no results when I enter the keyword name of the wallet you mean.
That is not surprising since the app is still in development. They'll probably list it after doing some beta tests if that ever comes. If you want to check them out see the link shared by OP and build the app yourself.
You are right joniboini.
For those of us who have often found applications under development it is not surprising, but for those who are still not used to it it will be surprising when doing a search in the Play Store.

I've searched the play store but the application called the wallet doesn't come out. In Google search, there are also no results when I enter the keyword name of the wallet you mean.
Because they probably haven't listed it in playstore yet.
Correct logfiles. As it is still in development stage so they haven't listed it in play store yet.
If it's a new wallet and requires a large amount of storage space, I won't necessarily try to use it because there are still many wallet choices that have proven good ratings.
1012  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Apk google aucthenticator hilang! on: July 30, 2023, 09:48:02 AM

1013  Other / Off-topic / Re: please help, google authenticator app is missing on: July 30, 2023, 08:57:08 AM
Maybe someone has experienced the same fate as me, the Google Authenticator apk is missing! Maybe my friends know a way to be able to enter Google Authenticator without a key or is there another way to deactivate Google Authenticator so that when we want to enter a market account, we don't need the Google Authenticator key anymore? Hope someone knows about all this, thanks.
There is an option that allows the exchange not to require 2FA to log in to an account because there is another option, namely via a text message sent to the number we use or there is an option to get a code via an active email that we used when registering for the exchange.

2FA is necessary for your security reasons as the owner of the exchange account and do not attempt to disable it. If the exchange you use has several types to increase account security, use all of them.
I've never lost access to google authenticator because the code when I activated it I saved fine offline.

Beyond that, don't store assets on an exchange because it won't be safe.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Does anyone use OBWallet (OBAndroid)? on: July 30, 2023, 08:15:43 AM
-snip-

But I don’t see any report on this issue in their Github. Maybe, the wallet works well, and I do something wrong?

Has anyone a successful experience of using this wallet?
How about leaving the OBAndroid wallet alone as there is something different from most other wallets including their own website.
I've searched the play store but the application called the wallet doesn't come out. In Google search, there are also no results when I enter the keyword name of the wallet you mean.

I don't dare to test on android with apk files like this because some kind of walware can happen.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin to pay everything online? on: July 30, 2023, 08:01:36 AM
-snip-

So I want to know in such situation, what will you do? I am asking this question because bitcoin is a digital currency for exchange of goods and services. I know that there are some services you pay ahead but what of the ones you are buying instant? You just came to the place and you want to buy from the hawker and zoom off, and you are to pay with bitcoin because there is no physical cash in your wallet/pocket/hands. And because of the delay in payment I was thinking that not everything we see can be purchased with bitcoin, is it true?
No. Because I live in a country that does not allow crypto as a means of paying for goods and services.
In other countries there may be people who pay for something in transactions using bitcoin as a means of payment, but I am not interested in using bitcoin in transactions to buy goods and services both offline and online. I only use Bitcoin as an investment asset. If I'm on vacation to a country that allows transactions with bitcoins, maybe I'm more interested in paying using a cryptocurrency other than bitcoin.
Bitcoins are very valuable to me for me to spend in paying for something.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 30, 2023, 07:28:40 AM
Yes, I am aware of the rumors that Ansu Fati is for sale.
There is nothing shown by Ansu Fati that makes Xavi have to make him a core player who is included in the starting eleven in every Barca match.
If Barcelona think that Fati cannot return to his best playing form, sell him and buy another striker as I have stated above.

Lewandowski is physically good so his role this season has really helped Xavi in the title fight with Real Madrid. Very different from the attacker listed in the Barcelona squad.
Ansu Fati also often experiences injuries so his name doesn't appear like Gavi and Pedri.
However, Ansu Fati is a valuable asset for Barca even though he doesn't seem to be able to show good performance. I think that in one or two seasons his performance will be more mature, considering that currently Fati is only 20 years old.
If Barcelona value Ansu Fati as their valuable asset, loan him to another club in order to get enough playing minutes rather than him being kept as a backup in the Barcelona squad. I have a feeling how good it is that Ansu Fati was loaned out to save their asset.
In the match against Real Madrid at AT&T Stadium, Texas, Ansu Fati was played by Xavi to replace Robert Lewandowski. Ansu Fati did not see a prominent role even though Barcelona won 3-0.

Apart from these rumors, it is possible that Barcelona will release their winger this summer. Thus Barca can bring in players who are more mature to get better squad depth, so they can defend the championship trophy next season, if they don't want to be taken over by Real Madrid.
I have no arguments about this. I wish them only the best.
IMO, Barcelona needs to bring in pure stickers.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 29, 2023, 10:35:48 AM
That's what I feel is why Xavi needs to look for a pure striker like Lewandoswki. Ansu Fati is not a center forward and Fati's real position is as a winger. It will not be optimal to make it an option to cover Lewandowski's position.
Ansu Fati is like a forward than a winger but he has to show his ability more if he is too slow, he will be sold out. Barcelona can not wait for Fati too long as three seasons since his debut for Barcelona in 2019 -2020 season, he has been given some years to grow up.

Ansu Fati profile and there is rumor that Barcelona want to sell him to get money and it seems time is counting down for him. A coming season is important for Ansu Fati future in Barcelona and he should not waste that chance.

1018  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is AI in crypto a game-changer or just another hype? on: July 29, 2023, 10:02:30 AM
But the big question remains: Will these AI implementations truly deliver on their promises or will they become obsolete in the future, dismissed as mere trash? As a crypto enthusiast, it's crucial to keep a watchful eye on the advancements and critically assess the real value that AI brings to the crypto space.
Won't last forever. Later, others will appear that can replace AI projects. When trading, there are exchanges that provide bots such as Binance requiring the signing of a risk disclaimer statement in trading, for those who already use them, it may not be 100% always making a profit.
For now maybe AI-powered projects can become a new trend, but it won't guarantee to last forever and I'm sure it won't work because it will likely turn out to be utter trash.
1019  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time has finally come...??? on: July 29, 2023, 09:39:05 AM
Please, read before replying, I don't need comments that are off point lol.
The name of analysis in giving a conditional speculation can be off the mark. For example I would say the time has not yet come assuming there are still more selling than buying. Others will come with different analysis saying the time will come to see a bull market.
On the other hand, if someone questions your analysis who believes a price of around $100,000 for the next high is not accepted because it differs from their desired analysis.
Discussions will have comments that are off the mark because an idea needs to be debated with complete arguments.
1020  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Investors Confidence in Bitcoin💪 on: July 29, 2023, 07:58:02 AM
Came to the conclusion that patience is needed to support the plans and strategies that have been set. As many people admit that investing in bitcoin is the best choice than investing in altcoin projects which can end up on a journey that is detrimental due to the actions of the dev. One and two that have a clear direction and are good for investment.
Much experience has been carried out and the average concludes that the dollar cost averaging (DCA) method is still very relevant to be applied in investing capital by buying more when prices fall and buying less when prices rise.
