1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: December 30, 2023, 06:11:20 PM
There are lottery gamblers here in my country who believe in the myth of guaranteeing a lottery prize by "investing" on the purchase of several tickets for a round. There are even youtubers who teach the "technique" to the audience, so they can surely win a lottery prize. Of course it doesn't work for real, otherwise everyone would be buying tons of lottery prizes every draw to guarantee a regular passive income.

The truth is that it doesn't worth to buy a lot of tickets, because it's still gambling. It's like increasing your bet size and winning chances on dice game. This way you will have higher winning chances, it's true, however the risks of losing money are still there and you may face a huge single loss if you are unlucky on that specific round. It's even worse than playing with a single or few tickets, because you are risking big money to win little profit (as in a hypothetical winning, biggest part of the prize would be used to cover tickets' costs).
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: December 30, 2023, 06:00:59 PM
Both gambling categories have its risks. I believe it's not possible to determine which one the safest, because it will depend on the preventive measures the gambler makes use of.

At offline, physical gambling shops, we have the risks of being noticed and followed on our way back home by strangers and robbers who may be interested in our won prizes. Also, there are risks the physical machines may be under malfunction, bugs, glitches, what will prevent us from having a fair play, different from online gambling, where we have the provably fair feature, ensuring the legitimacy of the bets.

On the other hand, at online casinos, there are several risks as well, like: having your account hacked, being robbed by an exit casino scam, depositing your funds in the wrong address or cashing it out to the wrong address, being banned from a casino due to people from your jurisdiction not being allowed there for regulative reasons.

Every risks mentioned can be avoided, if you take the right preventive measures, turning both categories of gambling in very safe practices that can be executed without worries. In the end, you will make your choice based on what is more confortable and attractive to you, instead of thinking on safety factor.
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 30, 2023, 02:22:19 AM
What's the possibility you invest without losing. Is it guaranteed in this kinda market?
There is no possibility of investing without risks of losing. When you make an investment you must be aware that you may face losses, therefore only invest money you can afford to lose. Since you are fearful about losing your hard earned money, I have the impression it's money you can't lose, so think carefully if you really want to start a Bitcoin investment. There are many positive expectations for crypto market in the following year, but it just doesn't worth to take part if you are too worried about negative outcomes, because it will affect your health meanwhile. You will tend to get anxious and stressed, accessing Bitcoin charts all day long to check how your investment is performing in real time, while the correct would be to invest and forget it until promising results started appearing in the market.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 07:25:13 PM
Last time I gambled I felt highly overloaded by adrenaline, as I faced a big loss that I wasn't expecting. I'm sure I wasn't depressed, satisfied, joyful, exhausted, but probably regretful... Although the dominant emotion was the temptation to continue playing and recovering the lost money somehow. I was thinking too fast to reach any rational and solid decision on what to do with certain, because I was too concerned about retrieving my money and that was occupying all my thoughts on that moment. And I remained like that for hours yet, although I didn't play anymore.

Only after few days that emotion was calming down inside me, and a duality between regret and acceptance start growing deep inside. I worked those feelings inside myself, and raised the acceptance with positive reflections about the situation, allied to the thought of retrieving my money through another sources of income which didn't involve gambling. So I was able to find an alternative and sustainable solution instead of insisting on the mistake of recovering the money through gambling. I found an exit on the darkness when it seemed to not be any disponible.

Moreover, add family support to this. This set of events were what prevented me from going ahead losing more money. Thankfully I only felt regretful for a while, but if I went further, besides being regretful, probably I would be depressed as well by now.
1005  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: December 29, 2023, 03:16:00 AM
Does it seem foolish to think that starting small is easy? The battlefield is horrible! The banking system's collateral demands divide the haves and have-nots Responsible financing is necessary, but where is the line between caution and exclusion? Banks, after all, should be enablers, not gatekeepers. Isn't good debt a 2 sides coin? We can't romanticize debt without realizing it can trap us financially. You mention 50% interest rates; that's daylight robbery! A vicious economic loop where you work twice as hard for what? Nearly drowning?

On to saving versus borrowing. A cash reserve is desirable, but how many people can afford it? World income inequality is as broad as the Grand Canyon. Many believe saving it as likely as a snowball in hell. The system hurts normal Joes who want to be entrepreneurs but face tough economic realities.
Banks actually don't care, as long as they are profiting side by side with whales and monopolies from our societies. The government neither, since they also profit from the current consolidated system dynamic. Governments, banks, whales and monopolies are partners on this business. The upper untouchable caste living on the abusive interest paid by the average joes. And I don't think there is a large scale solution for this issue, because even if someone with the best intentions reach a power position to make some changes, he will be corrupted by the system or taken out of circulation. The longer I live, most certain I become that collective causes are doomed to failure.

So, the answer? Perhaps the loan system needs a complete rethink. Community-backed microloans or crowdfunding for local enterprises. We must remove these financial barriers and level the playing field. Isn't it time for banks to help, not hurt?
It's a great idea! Let everyone become lenders, while charging cheaper interest rates from borrowers. Everyone gains, although it directly impacts negatively the finances of that upper untouchable caste, and as we know, their interests come first... I would love to see this idea in practice, but unfortunatelly, It's not going to happen. I think it's funny when a random person wants to lend money he is considered a loan shark, which is a crime in many places, but the financial institution can legitimately charge 50%.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin will bring you hope and gambling will leave you destitute. on: December 29, 2023, 02:56:32 AM
I don't owe you $18K so we may not understand it but the one I shared with understands how heavy the burden of debt is.
That is a very unfortunate situation your elder brother is going through, especially now during the Holidays. We can tell here anything we want to express how irresponsible he was to have put so much money at risk without prioritizing his investments, sources of income and professional career in first place, but the damage is already done and everything we should care from now on is encouraging him to rebuild his financial life, with the learnship in mind of the mistake he commited and that must not be repeated! What happened was useful as a lesson that will prevent him from wasting money in gambling futurely, but now the focus has to be in finding a job, making money and growing his patrimony.

I believe it's being hard for him to deal with all the negative emotions and possibly regrets hammering his mind day and night. He needs support from the family and friends to start again. Give him strength and hope that the currently obstacle can be overcome and that futurely he can achieve much more than 18,000$ if he struggles towards this objective. If you have health, you can keep fighting and trying, but if you give up, besides not achieving anything, you will also lose your health, because that is what happens when we are consumed by negative emotions on the long run.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How should Lotteries be categorized? on: December 29, 2023, 02:18:32 AM
  • The Payout: Rarely would you ever see your money x1000000000 in a casino, but in lottery, that's the entire premise. You put in as low as a dollar on the line, and you have a chance to claim a stake at huge amounts of money.
  • The Luck: Most casino/gambles involve unfair yet doable odds. 40/60 house edges being one of the most common odd disparities in this market. In the world of lotteries however, you get as much as 0.00000001% chance at winning, sometimes even less.
Lottery is just another gambling game. The ticket is cheap, the prize is huge, just like at traditional casino games where the less winning chances you have, the higher it's going to be the multiplier, while when playing with high winning chances, the prize decreases considerably. The odds work in similar manner in lottery and other gambling games.

  • The Replayability factor: Casinos set a premise where even if you win today, you'd always get the chance to win again tomorrow, lotteries do not have that liberty, with most people who won the lottery knowing fully-well that they wouldn't have the chance to win again in the future.
Also, just because you won once in lottery, it doesn't mean you can't win anymore in your life. The chances are always there, just like at other gambling games. What happens is that chances are too low, although they don't decrease from the first win to a potential second win.

  • Access: Casinos are age restricted and are mostly region-based. A casino couldn't cater to anyone beyond their area, but lotteries like powerball are played on a national scale, sometimes even international.
And casinos are so accessible or even more accessible than lotteries. You can play casino games anywhere at anytime, since you have internet connection. You can do this from wild countryside regions, but you can't play at the national lottery from there, as it demands you taking a vehicle and going into the nearest city's lottery to place a bet. Casinos are digital, while national lotteries are physical.

But I agree with you that lotteries aren't age restricted, because I've already seen underage people purchasing tickets and playing in the absence of their parents. However, that was in physical shops. At online platforms which ha lottery included, underage gamblers won't be allowed, anyway.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 28, 2023, 11:13:26 PM
Do you believe idea and money are very important in investment? Or can you succeed with money without idea in that investment.
I believe both are essential and interconnected. However, the quality of the idea has to be compatible with ideas people around may also have, be sympathetic to, or understand efficiently. It doesn't work to put an idea in practice, even though you have money for that, if people around won't buy that idea, because for some reason it doesn't awake interest from them. Many good businesses just failed, because they were planned and executed to work in wrong areas where local people didn't go for them. However, if the investment had been made in the right region, it would have thrived successfully.

That is also why we see many low quality ideas flourishing in business world. It doesn't make sense huge investment is made in garbage music, arts and movies, still it's highly profitable for the people involved on the industry, because even though the ideas are terrible, they are compatible with the ideas of the public or the ideas the public expect to consume from the media.

After all, every investments are wrapped by ideas. The point is: are those compatible or incompatible ideas towards the target public the entrepreneur is intended to provide?
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina has officially approved the agreement to legalize the use of Bitcoin on: December 28, 2023, 10:00:31 PM
The newly elected president of Argentina. Prior to the election, he promised the general public in his country that he would legalize Bitcoin in Argentina if elected. Maybe after he gets elected he is using the roundabouts. But it is being word of mouth yet its formality or its legality has not yet been declared on paper by the Argentine government. But since the newly elected president is discussing Bitcoin legalization, maybe Argentina will soon have Bitcoin legalization on paper. If Argentina legalizes Bitcoin, it will surely be good for the people of its country.
He is doing everything through decrees until now. Decrees are delicate and unstable measures, since they can be revoked at anytime by the legislative or judiciary. As I see, the establishment is allowing him to act freely for now. Maybe expecting he commits a serious mistake, to show how authoritarian he is to govern through decrees, or just to have a reason to bargain and blackmail him later. Like, if he wants the decree to remain active, he must do something in exchange...

Until now, everything is working exactly like it worked in Brazil in 2019. High expectations and hopes from the population, an apparent coherent leader with his campaign's proposals, a qualified and technical team of ministers, a government commited with economical responsability. If it lasts for a little more than 1 year, it's already better than the brazilian fiasco. Let's see... Anyway, argentinians have the great opportunity of being paid in BTC for now, and saving their money for the next bull run. I wouldn't waste this golden opportunity!

However, I'm not certain how it works for real. Is the employer forced to pay the employees' wages in BTC, if they wish? And in case the employer doesn't want to pay wages in BTC, neither know how to deal with this, what happens? Is the government acquiring BTC to pay public employees in Bitcoin? How, where and for what rates?
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 28, 2023, 08:56:46 PM
So your idea, Uneng, on trying to change the ideas or the minds of these victims would be difficult, but achievable through patience and determination. It's all a long-term goal. Look around the internet, there've been recently some complaints flying around about the streamers not being trustworthy and using their affiliation with the casino to deceive viewers.
A lot of patience, determination and endurance can bring some results on long run, but it won't happen at all until people see others falling and losing money when following those influencers' steps, or losing money themselves. Some will learn by the example of others, while some will have to learn by their own mistakes. We can give assistance, guidance, advices and even suffer some consequences like being insulted back or receiving rage from people who are blind by their flesh idols, but you are right on the sense it's a long term goal that might worth the sacrifice and struggle on the present moment from our side.

The reputation of influencers, coaches and celebrities in general are decreasing these days, as constant scandals comes up, besides their followers being prejudiced in the process. Some lose money, others lose touch with friends and relatives, while in worst cases, people even lose their lives! All motivated by idolatry, which takes people to adopt unreasonable attitudes and decisions, prejudicing themselves in the end of the process.

In gambling it works like: "if influencer X said it's good, then it's true, therefore I should do this exactly like him", while disregarding rational and logical evaluations about the content watched, like: "why is he suddenly sharing a gambling live"?; "what are the risks this game involve?"; "why does he want me to gamble?"... These critical questions raise our awareness about potential dangers we face ahead and are necessary for our survival. Once we avoid them, we are prone to being extinguished, like sheep walking into the slaughterhouse.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 08:38:40 PM
Is it possible one can dodge KYC verification request after winning a big amount of money and decides not to withdraw a lump sum but bit by bit in smaller amounts. I have read many posts talking about how they wanted to withdraw the money they won but due to the amount they wanted to withdraw was big, they were asked  pass kyc verification because they never did when they first registered.
You are trying to stay under the radar to not be spotted by the house... That could work at some platforms, but not in anothers. It will depend on the trigger mechanism casinos use to ask KYC from an user. The trigger can be the big win itself, request for volumous withdrawals or it can happen randomly, doesn't matter who the gambler is and how much he has deposited, won or cashed-out. In every cases you have to be prepared to deliver your personal identification, if requested by the casino, otherwise you won't be able to receive your prize, and then there won't be anyone to complain to.

It would be too irresponsible to rely that a casino won't ask for KYC in order to receive your prize. First of all, you should start playing at a casino aware they may demand for your ID at anytime, therefore you must be able to provide it as soon as they ask. If you doesn't agree with this term from them, better to not play on their platform and seek for an alternative one which won't require you to show your documents.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 28, 2023, 03:33:17 AM
Bets can not force one to stake, but a gambler can force themselves to stake a bet, even when he or she does not have money to bet. Some gamblers did not learn how to gamble. They just see themselves doing it, but they can't stop it. Why because they can't control themselves, even when they are not an addicted gambler?
No, you're wrong, every gambler who can't control his/herself is technically a gambling addict and needs help.
I agree with you. To be unable to stop gambling signals compulsive or addictive behavior. The causes which took the gambler to that disfunctional practice must be investigated and addressed. Reasons can be biological or environmental, so it's not possible to define why a gambler is addicted without talking to him and searching for further elements which could be leading him to develop such noxious behavior. That is why therapists do an anamnesis before starting the treatment.

Causes can be vast and complex. There are many different hypothesis which could lead us to think why someone can't control himself: greed, escapism, pride, cry for help, financial difficults, stubbornness, meaningless life, brain dysfunctions...
1013  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 28, 2023, 02:24:18 AM
But how can someone at the age of 20 years used $28 millions to purchased a car that is not going to bring income to he, when we have some decentralized investment you can invest such amount of money in the bear season and have hope of making more money that will reach you to start other business that will be fetching you cool money.
28$ million of what currency? Dollar that it must not be... Anyway, someone who is focused in purchasing a fancy car at the age of 20, with enough money under their disposal to do that, without any other concerns in mind, must have another sources of income, so he doesn't see a reason to care about investing his money. It really seems money isn't a problem for you friend, so he can give himself the luxury of purchasing a 28$ million car.

If you have such friend that doesn't have any investment and he went to invest such money on car will you continue to take such person as your friend? I have separated from him based on the money he use to buy car that will not add value to his life but people said I would have not separated from him that it have been long we became friends in the environment. What I did is it good or bad so that I will know how to apologize to him to continue the friendship with him.
It doesn't make any sense to get away from your friend just because he took a personal financial decision you disagree. It's his life and his money, not yours. You can nothing about it, neither you should feel offended for him purchasing a Rolls Royce. Take care your own life and your own financial decisions, and forget about the rest. You can advise people, of course, but they don't have any obligation of following your advices. Also, you don't have any right of getting upset with them for this reason.
1014  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: are there any bitcoin faucets nowadays !! on: December 28, 2023, 01:14:41 AM
As far as I know, freebitco in is still an active casino and faucet today. I believe freebitco in is the oldest bitcoin faucet that is still existing to this date. Though the profit you can get from it is not that worth it given that it will be reduced in the time of your withdrawal. It would be a time consuming thing to do, it would be better to learn anything about crypto or bitcoin and just buy a portion using real money. I think it is much worth it that way, the chance of people using faucet before will not use a faucet today because the reward is not that appealing and there are better things to do.
It's correct. They are still active and paying for hourly claims. However, to use only one faucet won't take us to anywhere. Faucets were a decent alternative when you could claim many of them in a short interval of time. We took advantage of their quantity and the quickness it took to claim from them. 7-10 years ago faucets just had a simple captcha to be solved and the websites were really clean. If you were fast enough you could claim in a second or a little more, but now it's a nightmare to make a claim from a faucet.

Besides payrates being extremely low, they are highly time consuming. There are lots of pop-ups, short-links, anti-bot links, captchas and sometimes you don't get any reward in the end. If there were a hundred faucets like freebitco.in around right now, then I would say it could be a great idea to still make use of them, especially for beginners who don't have any money to start investing.

Unfortunatelly those times are gone, and nothing has come to replace micro earnings opportunties for crypto enthusiasts.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 28, 2023, 12:13:53 AM
When we are looking for streamers and what we see and we want to learn things, strategies or something like that, if they don't give the truth then why follow them? I believe that there are many people who are very misinformed, and if there is a streamer like this, then you have to make it clear so that they do not follow them, living by deception is useless, especially in casinos, because it is money that you are going to lose, no. It is nothing, nor is it pleasure, the majority are looking for gain and being deceived in this is of no use, those who are followers because they like it is something else.
It's really hard to explain people they shouldn't blindy trust streamers on the internet, because they develop a relationship of idolization for those streamers. Here in my country we have a very popular youtuber who was promoting a famous casino called Blaze. Actually he is the poster boy of Youtube Brazil. And he was using his influence to sell the idea to his public that the casino he was promoting could work as extra income source, besides displaying himself on Twitch (streaming) making big profit from few bucks of dollar, somehow encouraging his audience to do the same, because as he said, it was easy and fast...

And how are we going to tell his fans they should avoid this guy because he is a manipulator due to the fact he is introducing them to gambling in the wrong way? It's easier for people to get against you than going against the influencer they love so much. It's a delicate matter, because it involves emotional bonds these people create towards popular figures of the internet. Maybe they have to lose money to learn by themselves they shouldn't idolize anyone. And in fact, many already did.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 27, 2023, 08:27:45 PM
Yup, we should be aware that we cannot imitate any victory obtained by Influencers. they have a channel, maybe have a lots of referrals so it's easy for them to have free money to gamble. Moreover, if viewers see them win, just realize that it is their lucky day. Anyone should not force themselves to gamble like streamers, because apart from differences in luck, of course there are also differences in income earned between streamers and non-streamers, especially workers, whether office workers or other jobs.
Moreover, they might be playing with fake money given by the casino with the purpose of streaming. It's a common practice which has been discussed and criticized in many platforms by people in general. What streamers do isn't much different from TV shows which also have many fake elements to turn the experience for the audience more thrilling and exciting. Streamers are actually actors playing a scene. And we, the public, have to be conscious about that in order to not feel tempted into believing a manufactured reality which only exists in our minds and in front of the cameras.

Streamers aren't spontaneously sharing their personal experiences with the viewers because they enjoy doing this, unlike many of us could image. They are working. That is how they make money, and in many cases for a living. So you can expect there are going to be many details which aren't shared with the public. We only watch what they allow and want we to watch. Anyway, it's probably just an unpopular opinion on this matter from me, because it really seems most people still loves this kind of marketing and fall for it like dummies.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: December 27, 2023, 07:58:10 PM
if gambling causes you anxiety it might be best to lessen your exposure to gambling and find a professional to talk about your issue. while trying and fixing the issue yourself is good, it is still best to let a professional assess your problem and provide proper steps on how to deal with it.
Looking for professionals to help you with your problem might be too expensive. Why not try seeking help within the family first?
I mean, if we do recognize anxiety, that is being honest to ourselves already, so we will not be ashamed of telling our problem to our family as they care for us as for sure they'll help us fight.
There might be public health services in your area where you don't have to pay anything to have access, although the number of sessions and schedules are likely to be restricted due to the large demand from the population. Anyway, if you don't want to pay or don't have money to pay, I think it worths to look for that kind of service, because you will be assured to be treated by a professional who took years of his life educating himself and acquiring experience to help people in mental suffering to overcome their personal challenges and demons towards an improved life quality.

Family members probably have the best of the intentions to help, but they aren't professionals on that matter, and may not be able to proportionate the same efficient support the professional would do. To recognize anxiety as an problem is the first step, but there are further techniques and strategies which must be applied and conducted by a specialized person in order to revert the anxiety and bring considerable positive changes for the life of the individual in suffering. Without this qualified guidance, I fear it might not be possible to achieve positive lasting results on long run, or it might be much harder to do so.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 27, 2023, 07:11:58 PM
No, it’s not a guarantee.

Take 1xbit.com for example, it is a licensed casino but that did not prevent them from their scammy activities and the same goes for other casinos that have being labeled as a scam in this forum but yet have acquired their license.
Yes, that is true. And the opposite is also possible. As an example we have freebitco.in, which operated without a license for many years, but never got involved in any scam scandals. I believe it has more to do with the intentions of the people behind the website than formalities and regulations imposed by authorities. When people want to act in shady manners, they will do it somehow, even if in order to do that they have to find gaps on regulatory frameworks, while someone who is willing to work in a legit and honest way will do it, even if there isn't any authority or coercitive force to impose rules on him.

History and reputation of the casino are more important than licenses. Licenses can be acquired and purchased at anytime, while reputation can only be built brick by brick along years of history, dedication, effort and transparency. That is what gamblers should pay attention to when choosing a casino where to play.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 27, 2023, 06:19:18 PM
I know for sure that if we take periodic account of how many times that we gamble, maybe weekly, monthly or yearly, we'll find out that the loses are far greater than the winnings, so I sometimes wonder how we can be indulging in something that we lose far more than we gain, in the name of having fun.
Do you ask yourself the same thing when you spend money drinking, eating out, hanging around with friends, purchasing fancy accessories you really don't need as basic need and so on? Does it worth to spend money with all these things in name of fun? I think so. Money exists to serve us, and not the opposite. We need money for our basic needs and appointments, but also for our pleasure and satisfaction. If gambling gives you pleasure and satisfaction, it's not an issue if you are losing more money than winning on long run.

Some people weight the pros and cons and still conclude gambling is suitable for them, as they don't feel too attracted by another hobbies people use to enjoy. So let them be happy gambling. It's definitely not a lie to say people gamble for fun, although it depends on which kind of person we are talking about. If the gambler is playing avid for profits, it will be a lie if he says he is gambling for fun, but there are other gamblers who really play for fun. They don't begin their gambling session with fixed goals in mind to be achieved. They let it happen naturally and if it doesn't, they go home peacefully, hoping to have a better luck next day.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 27, 2023, 06:09:02 PM
In my opinion,  the more time one decides to spend on gambling, the more money they lose. For example, if I spend like one hour gambling and another gambler spends like six hours gambling, which one of us do you think will spend more money?

So the question again is: how many hours do you gamblers think are more appropriate to spend while gambling?
It's not a general rule. A gambler can play for the whole day with a limited budget, placing low base bets, growing their budget slowly, if they are lucky on that respective day. Meanwhile, another gamble can spend a fortune in a short gambling session of few minutes by placing huge base bets or increasing them a lot on each loss.

I've seen gamblers spending about 20,000$ in a 10 minutes gambling session at online casino. And on the other hand, I've also seen gamblers doing bankroll management (5% daily profit) during long sessions of 2 hours with few bucks. And what it's more curious and interesting yet is that probably the guy playing with few bucks had more fun than the other who played with thousands, because he was playing with a purpose, while the other was just killing some time without any planning at all.

You can play as many hours as you wish, just make sure you aren't neglecting another activities and responsabilities of your daily routine, neither spending money you can't afford to lose in gambling. There are days we are too stressed and just want to have some good time, so if you picked gambling with that objective in mind, I see no issues if you gamble the whole day, since you it was a planned, rational decision which won't prejudice your finances as consequence.
