1002  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Communism: Pro and Cons on: June 10, 2017, 12:52:59 PM

Precisely. All the way back 1900 great thinkers predicted, that only way, that communism (ie. permanent redistribution of wealth and privileges) can work is through tight state control of free speech and even movement of individuals. Political loyalty takes precedence over personal capabilities, it is the opposite of meritocracy by design.

To justify that, you have to turn state in God, erasing any notion of separationf of church and state in the process. All the authority comes from the select few that run the state in name of the People and are not to be questioned. Communism as it was practiced was closer to theocracy, than anything else.

Lol
Because nothing changed since 1900 xD
Clearly the world hasn't changed AT ALL
Nothing has been developped to get rid of those problems. There is no actual possibility to give power to people now, your only solution is to have a god state like in USSR.

Clearly.
Obviously.
No other possibility.
Cause it's all like in 1900 right? xD
1003  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof that the USA sytem of consumption is dumb on: June 06, 2017, 09:46:32 PM
OK I'm just gonna say that the system we have in place at the moment is not true capitalism.

It's a sort of "crony capitalism" where certain corporations become incredibly powerful because they can control the market to some extent. They collude with each other to lock out smaller, more innovational companies. ANd this is mainly because banks and financial companies wield so much power, and that the bigger your company is, the easier it is for it to make money.

Example: Amazon, it has the capital to make losses in some countries, while it uses tax loopholes so it can pay zero tax in other countries. This make's it almost impossible for competitors to combat it.

Banks themselves are another good example, they grind money away from the poor, and put their capital into funds that will make them serious money, that the poor people have no way of accessing.

Bitcoin can change all that, if enough people get involved...

True sir.
The question is though: can capitalism be implemented?

In the same way that people say that communism always leads to dictatorship, one could argue that capitalism always leads to complete monopoles of a few companies. In capitalism the idea is that money produces money. hence people and companies with money will only get richer and will only crash more their competitors.

I see a way to make communism work without falling into a dictatorship but I don't see one to make capitalism work;
Bitcoin is a good step but that doesn't change anything fundamental: btc ownership will only produce more btc and big companies will only continue to get bigger monopoles and more and more powers!

Dude, stop spamming your signature campaign and read posts...
I'm talking about the debts of CITIZENS. About the way of life of Americans.
How the fact that in order to run their economy the citizens have to take so much debt that they simply can't repay it and get everything they have is taken by banks.
Don't blame me for your lack of understanding of basic economics. I know you Frenchies have trouble understanding how the world works, that's why you voted for allowing Muslims into your country and couldn't stop supporting the idea even after numerous terrorist attacks on your soil. Your new president has the guts to demand that every EU country participates in this failure of a project, and you come here complaining that US citizens are buying too much.

Sure because saying that debt of individuals towards banks don't have to be repaid is clearly a good understanding of the economy xD
And bringing Muslims here clearly makes sense!

Strong figures:
http://time.com/8740/federal-reserve-debt-bankrate-consumers-credit-card/

The economic model of USA is: buy buy buy buy buy buy buy and maybe think a bit after
That's the reason of the 2008 crisis, Americans were pushed by banks and real estate agents to take 3 times the debt they could afford.

Well people are continuing to do it.
I don't know when it's going to hit, but it'll hit reaaaaaally hard.

Stop with this stupid overconsumption. Just stop. Capitalism isn't working, stop it before it's too late.

As opposed to what? Communism?

Or Islamism?

What is your angle here? Capitalism doesnt force you to buy anything, Mr. Agitator. It is your choice. Same choice that brought you here of all places under the sun. If you cannot live with freedom to decide where your money is spent, that is legitimate, but dont preach to others, that they should accept place on Animal Farm too.

Ok so if you're in a system that makes 95% of the population making the wrong decisions what do you do? You blame the people or the system?
If I give you freedom to chose between option A and B but I use billions in advertisement propaganda media and false education to make you chose option A, is it still freedom?

And I'll let you know that for one communism isn't what you're showing (that's just usual dictatorial crap, nothing to do with communism) and that for two islamism isn't an economical theory.

I am still hopong for a jackpot til now lol. Anyways have anyone discussed their invest on their wallet system? Like storing the amounts on their wallet anf gsin interest? I think that it was not stated of how much interesr would they give to their users on a percentage based of couree
4.08% of annual interest
Discussion of this is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1838072.0

Personally I will not trust any form of online wallet including wallet freebitco.in provide to store my bitcoin for those tiny returns.  Wink

Lol yeah!
Especially a FAUCET
I mean common, it's already incredible that they survived this long. If you check out 99% of faucet have simply disappeared.
So a Faucet oppening itself to investment?
I say be cautious, once your coins are on there site there is NOTHING you can do.
Are you ready to risk all your BTC for 4% a year?

If yes please send them to me :p
1006  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof that the USA sytem of consumption is dumb on: June 04, 2017, 08:56:38 PM
I wouldn't worry about debt. Debt isn't real, it's just figures in the banking system.
Debt cannot be paid back, it's impossible. I'm not even talking about the USA. Iceland nullified its debt and nothing happened. They knew they were unable to pay it and the interest was constantly growing, so the only way out was to ignore it.

Communism and dictatorship always walk hand in hand, and am not a big fan of dictatorship because in it we have tyranny and senseless killings.in the end it's only the elite you will enjoy leaving the masses poor.

Nope.
They always HAVE WALKED hand in hand.
But there is no reason for them to do so.
You could have a communism system with direct democracy.
Hence there wouldn't be any political class taking all the power and the money. Production would belong to the people and be managed by the people.
1009  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 04, 2017, 05:56:05 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

After 4 days of slowly rising prices we had a nice little $100 correction and bounce halfway back up and seem to be consolidating well above $2500... currently $2525 (Bitcoinaverage).

This is the kind of moderate growth we need to keep going.

Go Bitcoin go.

Definitely, slow & steady upwards price increments is the way to go. Much better than huge pumps which are unsustainable & are usually followed by an inevitable dump.

Be nice to break $3000 by the end of 2017, that's my personal hope.

That's something I can support!
A 3k break by the end of the year would be ok, much more than a crazy ride to 4k just to see the coin dying back to 2500...

3k is an honest goal. I just hop for a small dip before because something too solid lacks entry points ^^
1010  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The next step to impeach Trump. on: May 31, 2017, 06:31:34 AM
I bet my Bitcoins he will never finish his mandate. His senility is already catching up , that's a matter of time.
I wouldn't bet even 1 satoshi on that. Unless Trump do something totally ridiculous and outrageous he will remain president.
There is no way that he will ever be impeached, it is far more more likely that he will be assassinated though.
Personally I would bet more money that he will  win next presidential election as well.

That would be the most stupid things American did for a long time I don't think they...
OH WAIT
They DID elect G.W.Bush a second time xD

If there is one thing that is true it's: never underestimate the stupidity of Americans. The only thing as low as their IQ is their capacity to win wars.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Gambling Sites on: May 30, 2017, 04:47:09 PM
- a Whale or a group of them, come and play, get lucky and withstand the house edge and leave loaded with BTC "your btc", the profit and losses are shared between all stock owners/investors according to their contribution, so if a whale took %20 of the BR, all investors will lose something equivalent to %20 of their respective deposit.

Can the casino put a betting maximum limit to prevent such a scenario?

Most casino simply put a dynamic limit depending on the bankroll.
The good point is that if a whale comes in and win, the bankroll diminish so maximum bet for the whale decreases too.
It avoids getting recked by a lucky strike from a big whale.

But you still see casino losing money from time to time.
Though the biggest risk is still direct hack and shit like this ^^

Hey!

1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: user to user betting on: May 29, 2017, 10:00:32 PM
any sites out and around that are popular?

Im looking to do micro betting on outcomes we can deem are guaranteed fair and not relying on knowing how to verify provably fair.

It's not quite popular to be honest :/

You had a few games or rock paper scissor but it never really made a hit. And there was a site or two of coin flip if I remember well.
But let's be clear: who here thinks coinflip is interesting or entertaining? --'

But there was also a game like agar.io! It's not exactly gambling but it's pretty funny!
The game wasn't bad and the idea was simple, it was an agar.io but instead of losing/winning points you were losing/wining satoshis ^^
1015  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet on WWE on: May 29, 2017, 08:51:32 PM
Is this thread serious?  WWE matches are all scripted with the outcome being fixed.  Anyone with WWE connections will make a killing from betting on it.

Yeah I don't really see the point xD

It's like going to see Titanic and asking "hey, does anybody want to bet on if the ship will sink or not?" ^^

But to be honest public MIGHT not be sure of who will win, it's just that the participant and organizers are going to systematically bet heavily on the predicted outcom and thus destroying the whole betting system so... Yeah I don't see how this could work Oo
1016  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 29, 2017, 08:38:02 PM
what a boring bulltrap

eth is so overpriced also

need a good old dump to start fresh

i wouldn't mind a little sideways action for more than a day tbqh...

You don't say!!!
I mean I like volatility otherwise I wouldn't be here but.;. DAMN!

Let's keep a bit of calm people. 2000$ is perfectly fine. Still an impressive increase in a short period of time. What do you say if we all just sit at a table, drink a bit and let miners do their job for some time? I'd like a bit of tranquility. Right now every day when I woke up I'm either 20% times richer or I've seen a quarted of my investments gone in the night.
It's not relaxing xD

1018  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manchester Explosion on: May 28, 2017, 07:42:30 PM

So why arent their muslim bombings since 1960 in europe?
Why did bombings just started in the 2000's with 9/11?

ISIS is a terror organisation. Religion is just an excuse for them.
You dont want to tell me that the lord resistance army are christians too?

Wahabism and salafism are extremist views of islam - compare that to extremist christians who literally believe in the old testament.
/edit
I agree with you though if you say that we have much more muslims beliving in that then christians beliving in the old testament.
But this i would say is caused by low education in the muslim nations.
They didnt went through enlightment like europe.
/edit end

Im sure im not the one losing his mind since i am still able to formulate arguments and having a proper discussion.

Hey Criptix I think it's impossible to use logic with those people

They're so sure about how right they are that when you point at the errors of their logic they just don't see it.
They're really close to the "terrorists" in fact, they have no logic or reasoning they're just fanatics.

And of course as every fanatic and religious scum they can't be convinced by logic.
The best way to prove it is how they immediately try to class you as a "stupid leftist that should just wake up and stop welcoming your migrants friends" even though you never said you were for immigration or that you were happy with it.

They've separated the world in 2 parts. Them and the ennemy. If you don't act like them and think like them you're an ennemy, that's all.
1019  Economy / Speculation / Re: kwukduck the hits, or a walk down the memory lane on: May 28, 2017, 03:31:56 PM
kwukduck is probably going to give you a lot more material in the future.
But didn't he turn into a Bitcoin bull at some time in the last few months?

Yeah he couldn't hold himself.

He tries to put as much FUD as he can in the noobs head just to buy cheap coin.
He's probably the greatest addict to btc of the whole forum in reality xD
1020  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manchester Explosion on: May 28, 2017, 02:46:31 PM
We really need to step up security all over the world and be prayerful. Event around the world show that we are really in the perilous time. Evil keep on increasing every day and good are decreases daily. The gods of this earth has taken over the heart of man. May the soul of the victims rest in peace.
We can actually defeat evil,
if we can unite to help anyone who is troubled,
believe evil increases in existence of difficulty

So... I guess in the second category we can also put the British/American/French soldiers currently dropping bombs in cities in Middle East?

Or does dropping bombs on civilians count as "warrior"?
I wonder... It makes you think doesn't it?

They're monsters but... Who created the monsters?
And once you found who created those monsters (rather easy in fact, look in a mirror), what's the creator of a monster if not a monster himself?

Anyway good picture.
Incomplete, but good picture.
