1001  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 10, 2021, 07:25:54 AM
Why people still buy stocks?
If with crypto much bigger profits *
3% daily gain is nothing If you can get 100% profit with Good coins pump.
How the Hell people Even get rich with stocks with so small profits?
Probably for diversification purposes?

Honestly I completely forget about investing with stocks market after getting into crypto. Limited available funds must be another reason for my case still I would have managed to invest into stocks from the profits I'm getting from crypto still I never considered stocks as an another option for my investments.

I may not consider stocks in near future as well but instead of stocks I may go for gold and other similar kind of alternate investment is needed in future.
1002  Economy / Economics / Re: Will China take over the world with the Digital Yuan? on: May 09, 2021, 09:19:45 PM
Will China take over the world with the Digital Yuan? Or will everything else remain the same? Do you think China's Digital Currency will force other countries to launch digital currencies of their own? How long do you think the transition will happen from paper money to digital Fiat?
How exactly? Will the digital Yuan be an open currency for people around the world? From what I have heard it is only going to be used in China by their citizens, unless they will have plans to make it an open currency that people in other countries can access, but I can’t really imagine that happening.

Having a digital currency doesn’t automatically make a countries economy to become the biggest economy in the world. China is not the first that has attempted to create a cryptocurrency, there are other countries with failed attempts, china is the one that seems to be successful to me (though I can’t tell you that I am 100% sure).
I do think that Chinese people will start using crypto a lot more thanks to this. How do I imagine that happening? Well simply China will have something that they can use to show people how it could work, and they will allow a gateway between crypto and regular life, so you can have bitcoin, then turn it into digital yuan, then use that digital yuan in a store to buy a milk, that's it, one step directly to regular world all backed by government as well.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 09, 2021, 08:21:25 PM
I think it is about seed this year and not how close isn't it? Maybe I know wrong but the teams at 7th and 8th seed will play for 7th seed and winner of 9th and 10th will play for a chance of 8th, then loser of 7th and 8th game will play the winner of 9th and 10th and the winner of that will become 8th seed. That is what I know will happen on both, so no matter how close it is, 11th is out for sure in both cases, and no matter how further away the 10th will have a chance. That is what I got from the FAQ of NBA website but that is what I understood, maybe I am wrong.

At the end of the day whoever bets on Lakers not being in the playoffs this year and losing during the play in tournament will be very mistaken, they are a very good team and they will most definitely end up winning for sure. They will have Lebron back and AD healthy by that time for sure.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 08, 2021, 09:13:38 PM
Liverpool is out of European leagues and that is just unbelievable, I can't believe that they lost so much games this year that they are not going to be even in the europa cup let alone champions league. That is just not understandable how they became one of the best teams in the world into a team that fails to go to europe inside of one season. Obviously one part of it that other teams figured out how Liverpool plays and defended accordingly, no matter how "great" your strategy is in the end if teams know how you play they are going to end up defending against that.

However one part of it was the fact that players had huge fatigue and they just didn't want to play, they looked like they were done with it. Maybe if they could sell some of their players and get some new players things may change, but I do not think that they could be as good as they used to be anymore.

1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 06, 2021, 06:14:16 PM
Who dosent love gambling. That feeling when winning and losing is really something.Played roulette today and was feeling lucky won a decent amount but in the end you lose it all always
If you do not feel any frustration at the end of your gambling then I guess everything will be fine. But, you feel like chasing back your profits then I guess from that point you will start loving your gambling more and then you will keep gambling all the day and by adding all your saving into your gambling bankroll. But, when you are able to finish off your gambling regardless of your profits or loses then I guess you are all perfect.

Everyone loves gambling, I agree but not in similar manner. Some people are loving it more than anything else in the world which must be the biggest problem I can say.
1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Hates BTC: "Forget Bitcoin: Here are The Crypto Assets To Follow" on: May 06, 2021, 05:28:24 PM
Ugly move from Yahoo: "Bitcoin is to the crypto market what Netscape was to search engines in the early days of the Internet. There’s a need for a better solution, and the market is responding."

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/forget-bitcoin-crypto-assets-154341517.html

I think we're gonna see a huge BTC rise in the coming months, it's the calm before the storm. HODL!
Well, that’s what they are always going to say, and I am not going to blame them because most of them are saying based on their level of understanding and experience. Our understanding differs, and we act according to the level of understanding that we have. You can see their reference, which is about search engine and they believe that Bitcoin is fade away because it is the first, and there are going to be other cryptocurrencies in future that are going to be better than it.

Well, if it’s about having cryptocurrencies that are better than bitcoin in some areas, there are already a lot of them that are either good in fees, or they are good in handling transactions and all that. So there are already a lot of them, but the future of these coins is one thing that none of us can tell.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: May 06, 2021, 04:39:00 PM
Many of us believe in fate because it offers us comfort and security. But asking if someone controls their fate is like asking if we can control what happens to us.
But gamblers do leave off their responsibility in the hand of fate so that they will feel no guilty of gambling. They simply need some reason for their gambling activities and for going again tomorrow regardless of how much they have lost today.

We are in control of the actions we take that lead to the reaction, and we control how we respond in that reaction.
That sounds like believing in to self control but we cannot expect that from gamblers. So, they will never prefer to change what will come back to them tomorrow. All they need is, some entertainment in gambling like there is no tomorrow.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge Success Force Bitcoin to Improve on: May 06, 2021, 10:03:14 AM
Bitcoin has been having this problem with transactions for long now, the fees for transactions has really gone up. Someone had to do a small transaction of $75 and had to pay around $20 for the transaction, it’s quite discouraging , since you know that the money you have is going to cost you a lot to withdraw, by the time you’re done with sending it you’re going to be losing almost of it if not all.

You can’t even make a small transaction like about $10 or so, because of this same transaction fees that are too high. I don’t know for how long we are going to continue with this because I am already seeing that a lot of people are getting tired of it.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would having a Debate like: Bitcoin vs Gold win more crypto investors on: May 06, 2021, 09:34:34 AM
I saw some news article on kitco.com (video interview) titled "Frank Giustra challenges Michael Saylor to gold vs Bitcoin debate" and from the video interview kitco had with  Frank Giustra who happens to be a gold guru called out Michael Saylor who happens to be a crypto to a gold vs Bitcoin debate.

Do you think such a debate would bring more investors into the crypto world?
In the date who ends up winning determines that. But anyway, I don’t think all that is necessary, whether there are debates or no debates, people are still going to be investing their money in cryptocurrency and also investing in stocks like gold.

So, all these debates are not really what determines that, but it can still help some people when they are about to make a decision on what to go for, especially those that are still newbies, that’s the area I think it’s mostly going to be helpful for people. And then it’s good that we keep doing things that gets the name out, so that a lot of people will get to know about cryptocurrency and invest their money in it.
1011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I can never get my price :( on: May 06, 2021, 07:43:30 AM
Maybe the problem here is the way you put up your order in the market because basically if you are doing it right, you will be doing just fine. It might be the time frame you decided to put up your trade that is making you have a trouble in trading.
I do not think timeframe what we are following got anything to do here. I guess we need to blame only the high volatility of markets. Because, when market jumps you cannot do anything except missing your prices to enter or exit. This had happened to me many times and I had gone for modifying my orders to chase the price levels which again lead to impact my profit levels. When market trades with more volatility, I guess we cannot do anything other than compromising some of our profits.
1012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing Urge or Trading Surge on: May 06, 2021, 06:36:14 AM
If you had planned to inverse money in cryptocurrency, you should skip of stock market. If you start to believe something, kindly believe it fully and hold till it recover.Don't exchange money from the invested asset for the emergency need.It should be skipped to avoid of loss.Mostly the new traders do this and suffer a lot after the mistake. To escape from loss, patience is needed one in trading.
But, I don't think there will be any mistake if anyone will be investing/trading both in stock and crypto at a time. It means you can be successful even in these two sectors if you are planning your investments or trading properly. There is nothing here about believing in to one thing completely; you can believe into two things completely because that will be more profitable for you.

I suggest anyone to go for both investing and trading at a time because it will give you more chances to make good profits regardless of what will be the market conditions.
1013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: May 05, 2021, 09:28:44 PM
I also thought trading was as simple as Buy Low Sell High but I can't determine which is low and which is high. Yesterday I was talking to different persons that are now involved to trading and I guess they knew more in trading than I do. I did research and I found something which is "support and resistance" that refers to the price chart. Determining the two before trading may help you pinpoint on when to buy and to sell plus the use of stop loss to prevent losing too much of your money.
Yes and that’s why trading is not an easy work, if you can’t do that analysis, your success in trading is definitely going to be a really difficult thing. If you do follow up with cointelegraph, they do all these analysis with support and resistance still it would be better if you learn your technical part which will help you trading profitable without depending on any signal providers. Trading is simple if we learn how to predict the movement of market directions.
1014  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 05, 2021, 08:32:10 PM
About a few months ago, I learned some Japanese candlesticks for cryptocurrency trading. And there are some shapes when they happen that mean that there is a rise, ie: Buy. And some forms when they occur mean that there is a fall in the currency, ie: sell or hold. In the first case, you will buy, and if "everyone wants to profit" and everyone of course knows the rise, who is the dumb who will sell you this? In the second case, you want to sell, and also "everyone does not want to lose". Who is the dumb who would buy this from you? And with this logic, what are these shapes?

There is always something that happens naturally on a regular basis and causes regular results, but something happens based on "people's minds" (buy / sell), ie: it is erratic. So how will the results be regular (up / down)?
That’s why you’re being told that there is nothing like certainty in trading cryptocurrency, it’s all probability, so you do your research or analysis, and you feel like something is likely to happen based on the result you have gotten and you place your trades based on that, but you can’t say that you’re hundred percent sure that that’s going to be happening, if can still go the other way and you will lose.

But that doesn’t mean that you should neglect all these things, because they are all useful, you still need them to be able to trade properly, if you don’t know them then your risk of losing is at high rate. Like they say, no amount of knowledge is a waste.
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 05, 2021, 08:19:41 PM
People have often compared crypto to stocks since owning a coin, represents your "share" of the decentralized blockchain network. Exchanges act as brokers in a similar fashion to traditional stocks. While stocks are fiercely regulated, crypto is the "wild west". Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile, while stocks are much more stable. Despite crypto/Blockchain tech's popularity, stocks are still preferred by mainstream investors and traders alike.

Which asset types do you think are better: crypto or stocks? Is crypto getting closer to becoming regulated just like stocks? What do you think will happen if institutional investors come into play? Will stocks transition themselves to the Blockchain? Or is it still too early to tell? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
All of them are good, and they all works. It’s just up to you to decide what’s best for you and you follow that. Stocks are good, and I invest in it and also invest in cryptocurrency. Invest in bonds as well, you just have to make sure that you have your investment in different places to be generating income for you. My first investment that I made was with bitcoin, that’s what convinced me to start investment, at first I wasn’t the type that’s into investing my money, I just put them in savings and that’s it. But when I discovered bitcoin and invested in it, I decided to start trying out other investments as well.
1016  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 05, 2021, 07:03:11 PM
People seriously consider betting 1mil on dice to maybe win 250000$ in the race? Doubt it. When I play dice as soon as I raise the stakes I lose within the next 5-10 "throws" (with 98% win chance). Imagine betting 1mil.
That's the fact, no one will intend to spend such a big amount on dice for the sake of increasing the wager. As in the post, even with 98% win chance one easily losses this fund, and I kept watching the games played by MalteseFalcon. He has been playing Baccarat continuously while reaching the first position. By the time he was betting with the amount of around $27000 on a single bet.

I dont think its as commonly known, but Baccarat is a safer and faster way to increase your wager. Placing a bet only on Player and House will result in a draw a large majority of the time and funds lost are significantly lower than the 1.0102 dice strat.
They could have done it playing any game ever, but that is not the point, people are questioning if he is legit gambler or if Stake actually screwed them over for the win. I believe they didn't, stake is rich enough that they could give 1 million dollars as a giveaway and they could make some money with it. That is the type of thing that I believe could happen but not on Stake, they are just way too big to do something like this if you ask me.

This is why I believe this was all just a thought about someone who couldn't comprehend that someone would wager 80 million dollars. I am not saying that they didn't wager for the win, they probably did, but they didn't care if it was for 250k or if it was 5 bucks, all they cared was winning because they already have enough money, someone who can wager 80 million dollars wouldn't care about 250k neither.
1017  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: May 05, 2021, 05:58:34 PM
Betfury hasn't made any such statement. I was just trying to make sense what Obito and Renampun were talking about. And yes, if the pools would fell to zero, there would be nothing to pay from obviously. But i don't see it falling to zero nor i have seen it decreased in dollar value. Obviously it has dropped in btc/eth and BNB value because those are climbing in dollar value.
I think there is a reason behind that. There is a fact that the price of almost all coins are going up, which causes people to focus more on trading and investment over gambling which causes the dividends to be less and less these days. I am not saying that it is a good thing or a bad thing, all I am saying is that this is a thing and there is nothing we can do about it, as long as prices are like this people will keep on investing and not gambling.

Obviously there are people who gets crypto just to gamble, or people who wants to stop but can't, or simply any other person who just wants to gamble but the number of these people are getting lower during periods when there is a huge bull market. ETH is over 3k+ bnb is over 600+ many coins are reaching all time high prices and that is why I think it is obvious we are not going to see too much gambling.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: May 05, 2021, 05:12:15 PM
My definition of rich would be having enough money that you don't have to work another day in your life. There is no exact dollar amount because the cost of living depends on the country where you are from. In some countries you could probably live a comfortable life having half a million dollars in your bank account.
That's a good definition of rich everywhere but what you will spend your money on decides the level of richness. If I have 10 million dollars I can do whatever I want and I wouldn't ever need money ever again, some people look for houses that worths at least 10 million dollars, so as you can see there are differences, for me about 200k for a house is more than enough, that would be a very decent house as well and not like some small flat neither, and I can get one for my parents as well near me so 400k for houses, rest could go to bank for interest and I could basically live with the rest of that easily, we are talking about at least 9 million dollars even if I find a way to spend the other 600k, and the interest of that would be more than enough for me to live happily ever after.

BUT there are some people who would see 10 million as not nearly enough and want more, we all do the same, have a house, have our family, pay for everything we "need" and yet the numbers are so different.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: The Modern Mode of Payments on: May 05, 2021, 03:36:34 PM
Due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus in different countries, people have become aware that many viruses can be obtained from fiat money. That's why in our Country suddenly dropped the percentage of users of fiat money especially coins. And because of locked downs, people are just stay at home. So, they start their works online and also making transactions online, buying and selling online and instead of paying a cash money, they use electronic money for payments or even sending money for their love ones. Also, through this pandemic many people start using cryptocurrency where they can earn money as another source of income. So, making transactions outside is really difficult nowadays, but because we have a lot of modern types of mode of payments, no need to worry about that.
Well, it’s quite better for you guys, because where I stay it’s very difficult to work from home, finding online jobs are difficult, you’re always going to see a need that will cause you to leave your house and come out in public. And people are still making use of paper money, it’s difficult that you’re going to find anyone that’s making use of electronic money. Even if you wants to make a different by using all these electronic and digital payment methods, it’s not going to work because over fifty percent of the people you’re going to meet are always going to ask for cash or pay you with cash. So it’s not easy.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: May 04, 2021, 09:28:22 PM
Tesla is like dogecoin, they are here only because of Elon Musk
That’s the same thing with every company, they are there because of their founders or team lol. As long as they do a really good job at promoting their company and their products, and also delivering what they promised, then it’s sure going to keep growing.

In some sense Tesla sound like Amazon which is known for operating in the beginning days for non-profits and over the time they slowly changing policies to gain profits; Tesla might be following that.
