I'm was thinking just about chips. A big GB for anyone... And probably PCB would also be something interesting... It is also hard for someone to invest let say 43.000$ in A1 minimal order...
43 000
No way. If they wanna sell chips they have to lower the prices. Ready  to mine assembled units are just behind the corner at  3 usd per GH
So?
You can buy a couple of chips for fun but the chip price should be around  30-40 right now. More over it needs to be adjusted with difficulty also. Let them sell them at 90 bugs I do not mind.....
Just mu two cents
1002  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 14, 2014, 08:38:57 PM
Okay... got an email response from AMT"

Quote
The miners are being tested over the last week as there was some slight technical issue with the firmware.
As you know our chip supplier delayed the chips delivery and we ran few week behind schedule but we are catching up now.
Little more patience and your miner will be with you.

Well, plausible.

But doesn't matter,  I am requesting a full refund.

Let us see if they will accomodate my request today.  Otherwise,  going to have the legal system do the work for me.
That is the way to go for all of you
1003  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 14, 2014, 03:19:05 PM
Folks... I am tired of tracking AMT deliveries.

Will sell my miner (Order #961) for just 8 BTC.

PM me.  8 * 620 USD/BTC = $4960.  In short I am taking a $1,000 loss here.

PM me if you are interested.
Dam dude...
That was a golden chance for AMT to sell first coincraft chips in their famous history Grin
I wish you luck with your sale...
1004  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 13, 2014, 06:45:30 PM
Oh I think you're absolutely right.

I don't think they will be able to get all of those done considering they have already said they were short staffed.

Unless for some reason they just don't have one part like say power supplies or something stupid like that and then plan a mass shipment of miners at that times.

I'm expecting mine to be late but they kind of fucked themselves in my opinion by giving me an exact date (for the week my miner will ship)

That gives them until 28th (29th if fedex or ups will will do a saturday pickup) to ship out my unit. I even said I understand and anticipate delays like with many of the other companies. But they said this month so I'll hold them to it.

Yes, maybe they are just waiting for their order of duct tape from Amazon to come in so they can box up all of the orders they have completed and get them on a truck Grin

PS. 1 of my orders is still on hold. Seems strange they have to have an IT guy manually change the web page for each order.

This is a combination of:

1> Bogus website framework (prepackaged and installed)
2> Lack of skills from their team to implement an automated system or further program/modify the website.

Their website and ordering workflow are a clear indicator of their lack of technical skill, even if it's just related to the website.

I also find it strange that AMT and Bitmine are using the same framework and templates for their websites. Looks like they used the same person to setup both sites.

Just another shady aspect of AMT.
As I said amt are just a proxy of bitmine they are complete zero Grin
Meanwhile avalon will flood the market with gen 3 chips and miners produced from people with some engineering skills while precious  AMT chips are collecting dust for three months now Grin
1005  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 13, 2014, 05:16:36 PM
Does BITMINE realize AMT is not producing or pushing a product?

There must be some sort of mix up here, because nobody has received ANY information on shipments or assembly.

Something has to be done, and I really hope BITMINE.ch is not involved in some way.

~Casey

AMT uses BITMINE designs.  See my post a couple days ago.

However, BITMINE is having problems with their design.  They needed to come up with a Revision 3.0.  What is clear is that AMT has a BITMINE Revision 2.0 design.  Furthermore, these two companies appear to be playing catchup to TechnoBit and a Chinese company.   It turns out that the Coincraft A1 chips are licensed by Innosilicon and not Bitmine.  So expect to see other vendor cranking out these miners!
Hey,
Read the bitmine user posts. Rev 3 is for 2t rigs only
Their users are receiving 1t units for two-three weeks now Grin

"Don't worry guys, we are shipping your orders VERY SHORTLY."

Last time I checked, VERY SHORTLY didn't equate to 2+ months.

ISAWHIM: Are you working for AMT now?
No he is working for free Genno stakes Grin
And money under the table as generously offered from AMT
US tax authorities wake up and check this will you?

I am dam sure that AMT is a CLASS TAX PAYER. The have nothing to be afraid of but a routine check will not hurt Grin

1011  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to upgrade TPLINK TL-MR3020 firmware to technobit openwrt on: March 12, 2014, 05:14:40 PM
Hey, so let me know if I am beating a dead horse here, but I stumbled across this and I was wondering if it would be possible to patch this cgminer status script into the technobit distro of OpenWrt. If it is a hassle or just impossible then no worries, but it looks like it is either a precursor or a downright copy of what the S1 uses. Lemme know what you think

https://github.com/alzhao/openwrt-cgminer-antminer/blob/master/root-files/usr/lib/lua/luci/model/cbi/cgminer/cgminerstatus.lua
Every thing is possible dude. You can scp any file to tplink file system
Good luck
1012  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 12, 2014, 04:01:42 PM
Appears that Bitmine.ch has a Revision 3 board:

Take note of the number of A1 chips on this board.  The previous version (which I believe AMT uses) has 8 chips, this one has twelve.

Compare this with a photo of the AMT board:

My suspicion is that the Bitmine.ch revision 2.0 boards had issues and caused delays for both Bitmine.ch and AMT.

Nice catch.

1015  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 11, 2014, 08:21:38 PM

AMT did deliver to me... a little late (27 days) but they did deliver my units.
Those who are considering filing a lawsuit, before even considering filing one, have you asked AMT to send your order unassembled?  It may get your product faster.  Reach out to AMT and see if they can send it out to you unassembled so you can assemble it.  Otherwise, wait patiently and they will send your unit.

At this point.. I wouldn't mind just receiving the 48 A1 chips!
Why 48 chips dude? I have explicitly asked them to state if they will ship 6 modules and guess what judging by their silence they own you 40 chips only
Besides be careful what you wish because if this happens you are the one to loose and you will loose all
To cover 6k usd you are going to buy the most expensive chips in bitcoin history 150 each Grin taking in account what chips can do and current difficulty also
And if you can sell something at profit in eBay to lost American soles who do not know what are buying and how to use it I doubt that someone will buy a bare chip there Grin just because the chip has not got power on off button and LCD display Grin Grin
But for a next week or two I can give you 25 usd per chip
Pm me if you are interested  Smiley

The chips go in bulk at around $90 per chip.  So for 48,  that's $4,800 at $100 per chip.  Better chips than nothing!!
Really?
How much do you want at 90?
Next day delivery  Grin
Come on dude nobody will pay that price for DIY fun project they will just wait and buy them a mount hour two later. Every one who is as ambling miners for a business will laugh at you
But I am dam sure that this is a golden deal and they will make more money refunding you 40 I repeat 40 chips 150 each. They ARE NOT going to give 48 chips
1016  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Bitmine CoinCraft A1 28nm chip distribution / DIY support on: March 11, 2014, 08:02:55 PM
I changed the price $6 per board.

Instead adding shipping fee ( EMS shipping )

My material cost of PCB is $5 and Stencil is $85

And selling it with $6 / $90 each.

Is this fair price?

Do you plan to provide "full DIY package" ? With the PCB and the SMD components ? Even maybe with A1 chips?
You were talking about $357 for a "full kit", this is quite expansive, maybe buying more than 10sets of components could lower the price...
At this price, the ROI is too long for a DIY kit I think
DIY means fun and playing with technology. making profit is called business which is completely different thing.
However losing 100 or 200 usd in DIY fun project can gain thousands doing business
But have in mind soldering components and uploading someone else fw is not DIY it is just a copy and page ste
Whatever you do you have to leave some pice of your mind there
So do not squeeze this guy it is useless . He can save a lot of time for you which is golden and he deserves a bug for sure

Well this was done with samples as far as I know. And they are a bit different then production chips. That why I'm asking...

Temp is not a problem. I put server rack on a balcony and a good fans in it. So it will top at about 15C...
Honestly speaking I thing chips can handle a lot more voltage and heat. But other components are likely to blow first Wink
