1001  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 07, 2023, 12:05:58 PM

well, if the casino is already established and strongly running indeed that there will be no bankrupt to happen , but those newly operated and sadly experienced a Huge  win from new players, in that sometimes comes the dishonesty  from the site and turning into not paying and become a scam one.
but with Roobet.com that has already tons of funds inside, Am not sure if  any whales can make them bankrupt , not at least from my knowledge and understanding .
There are lot of such casinos turning scam after accumulating funds from players through lot of ways but we should focus more on our Roobet discussion as they are doing quite well and running smoothly from past few years so hopefully they will do it in the future with more boost.

What other people worried about that something might happen here most likely not gonna happen since they can be called as institution in gambling scene already and we see a lot of challenges overcome by this casino so expect that we can see more success from them for more years. They are good for maintaining their promotions and that's the reason they remain successful since to many gamblers trust them and maybe declare as one of the best casino exist so far.
1002  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why newbie may find it difficult to rank up in this forum on: September 07, 2023, 09:59:43 AM
Setting up some wrong goals without researching for more deeper knowledge about how the forum works. They are just seeking for opportunity but lazy to have good improvements that's why they always fell short when important things comes up. Majority of newbies are in bounty section or sections where they think money is there that's why its hard for them to rank up since they are not contributing anything nor create good post that's why its hard for them to earn some merits then rank up.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your perception about crypto games? on: September 06, 2023, 03:19:40 PM
There are varied crypto games we tend to be fond of that does rely on bullrun to maintain playbase. Another words they perform fine in bull market.

What are your views or perceptions about such games.

If you mean NFT games much better if you move this thread on altcoin discussion since this topic is not all about gambling.

But rather to answer your question is that what we can expect if the ecosystem is built on hype that's the reason why they are only good while bull run is occuring and they turn bad when market is on bearish state. So better learn to familiarize them and don't hype by any news about them since even if there's positive update if market is down most of those crypto games will experience a downfall.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: September 06, 2023, 12:23:40 PM
for me, the coins that don't keep up with bitcoin's movement are shitcoins

No its not always like that since there are coin pump when bitcoin goes down and coins dump when bitcoin goes up since it will depends on how the creator of those tokens join the hype. If they are just there created that coin for scamming expect that it will dump no matter what the current movement of bitcoin happen.

Just look at this signs if you want to spot shitcoins.

To good to be true pumps claim
Fake community
No clear roadmap or they don't follow what is actual written on their whitepaper.
Generic names idea or anything just for hype.

This are few indicators you can check.
1005  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 06, 2023, 10:43:07 AM
I think it is much better if you could somehow work it out one way or another. This means that contacting customer support is the best way to do it because they will be getting the ticket in their system that way and can't close it until it is solved, and that's what they will aim at doing, so you will get help.
The team can respond towards it but think he might be just putting false allegations against them judging from the trust ratings but yeah the last information and decisions depend on the team and I doubt they would do anything wrong unless some users abuse the terms.
I think their job should be to shoot down any type of fake allegations against them as well. If someone comes here and talks about them like they are doing something wrong, rollbit has to come up and say that they are not doing anything wrong and they are doing the right thing at the end.

I believe that is the most important thing and we should not be really caring about it at all when someone just comes in and complains, we should be only to care about it when there is a proof of it. Unless someone comes with a proof that they have been wronged, then I am not going to believe them. Some people just come here and talk, I can write anything I want as well, I can say I am actually Joe Biden, would you believe me? We need either proof, or no need to believe.
Every online forum is like a battlefield for image, and when false accusations come up, companies should act quickly to protect themselves.  Even though I agree that accusations without proof are useless, the same can be said about businesses. If Rollbit or any other online gambling site says they're honest, where's THEIR proof? A lot can be gained by being open about processes, licenses, and audits. Not everyone who complains on a website has the means to back up what they say. What if it was up to the companies to show their legitimacy in a way that a skeptic could trust?

The gamblers playing on the site are the ones who can say if the casino is trustworthy or not. Because it's futile even the particular site is claiming they're honest if the majority of their gambler's had a negative experience playing on their site. Well, there's no perfect casino but it's a different matter if one really intended to just scam their players.

Anyway, the representative already answered the complaints against them and also willing to cooperate to any third party (or escalate the matter to their licensor) so they can provide proofs that the accusation is false.

The important matter there is the casino representative is cooperative when there's issue surfacing around and so far they are really good in that area that's the reason why those past accusation has been buried out since this has been taken care by their management.
Also I doubt they have plan to ruin their reputation since their success and business profitability is more heavier to believe than those some fake accusation posted by new created accounts.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 05, 2023, 11:42:04 PM
I want to ask those of you who have a hard addiction experience in gambling and then you can treat it yourself, and today still playing gambling but with the principle of good management and financial management in gambling.
I want to know how you break away from the addiction, you can mention the actions taken or what kind of steps? And how long do you need time to break away from the addiction that has been experienced?

"I want to find out because I think your experience in the case as I mentioned will be useful for readers, especially for me personally"

Actually money is the main reason why majority stops or aid their addiction since if you don't have anything to spend and you life became miserable for sure realize all the wrong deeds you do then try to correct it. I experience this so better set some amount you can afford to gamble since by this way we can limit ourselves to became more greedy and by this little discipline we do everyday for sure we get used to it and avoid gamble excessively.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala - is it over or will it recover? on: September 05, 2023, 02:24:32 PM
I am invested in Gala and there has been a lot of bad news recently with many investors either worried or selling.

I am currently holding what I have and will buy more if we really do fall lower but I am just wondering what others are doing?

We are only a few more months away from the bull run so feel it is worth holding.

Is Gala still a good investment or not anymore? See link below

https://beincrypto.com/gala-games-legal-dispute/

Depends on how they convince new or old investor to pour some money again on their project. Since if they cannot accumulate people to buy their token then expect that the same scenario will exist, so if you cannot handle the consequences of the current situation much better if you do cut loss. But if you feel that there's constant update happening like good plans set to pump and raise the interest of people then maybe hold if you can still able to do it.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 05, 2023, 11:54:11 AM
Privacy is important when it comes to Cryptocurrency, so why do exchanges like Bitget require KYC (Know Your Customer) for all users, even those who only want to get airdrops? I thought KYC should be for those transacting many Bitcoins, Is it really necessary for everyone?

Because of regulation.

If they want to target global crowd especially on US or strict countries they need to pass some requirements that can make their business legitimate and it includes KYC to their costumers.

But if the CEX doesn't care much about global markets and target only certain areas where law is not much strict as first world countries have then some of them doesn't require KYC.

Although its good not to submit KYC but you also need to know or consider the risk since its more risky if there's no government regulate those exchange.
1009  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 05, 2023, 10:04:43 AM
On the topic of the $40 000 000 that were hacked from Stake.... guess who is going to pay for those losses. (Expect a crazy RTP for a while folks)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I believe they've got kind of a money pillow for such case, like SAFU in Binance Cheesy Or they will just decrease budget for their promotions and that is it. Anyway, I sure that they are not totally newbies in crypto industry and would do their best to catch that guy who has got different kind of jackpot worth 41 millions Cheesy The most important is that users did not lose their balances and withdrawals are open. That theft act is casinos headache, not users.

Not losing the costumers fund is the most important thing there and for question who will  pay for those losses.I guess that maybe a charge for being relax on their security and now they are waken up that no system is safe after all measures they do. Provably they might spend more to strengthen up their security and I guess the budget for marketing will decreased due to this incident.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: Good and Bad at the same time - Mega entities hold $ 14 billions in Bitcoin on: September 04, 2023, 10:22:42 PM
Reading through the coin desk's newsletter today I came across news about Robin Hood and it's holding analysis. Apparently the HOOD company has reached Top #3 in the list of who holds the most Bitcoin in the world.

Current stats:

Binance : ~ $6.3 billion
Bitfinex : ~ $4.3 billion
Hood     : ~ $ 3.0 billion

That's a lot of money under one roof of each entity mentioned above. It should make us think whether this is good or bad to Bitcoin economy? Since these much Bitcoin are under their custody they have full control of it and we have already seen what happens when such entities get hacked for their data leak. The case of FTX is the biggest lesson for us.

However, having that much significant amount can also be good for bitcoin economy since it is in holding for long terms. It is like having that much less Bitcoin in the circulation. It may or may not have an effect on the demand and supply but I wanna ask, does it have any?

Robinhood Revealed to be Third-Largest Bitcoin Holder With $3B in BTC
Robinhood transferred some 118,300 bitcoin to the wallet from several other smaller wallets over a three-month period.

Investing and trading platform Robinhood (HOOD) holds over $3 billion in bitcoin (BTC) in a single wallet that attracted the holdings over several months, wallet data from Arkham Intelligence shows. This makes it the third-largest bitcoin holder behind crypto exchanges Binance and Bitfinex, which hold $6.4 billion and $4.3 billion worth of tokens on single wallets respectively.
The wallet previously gained notoriety among market watchers in the past few months as the identity of its owners sparked conversations and concerns about who the mysterious owner of such a large amount of bitcoin could be.

As of Monday, Robinhood has not publically commented on these holdings.
The transfers sparked speculations ranging from the bitcoin holdings belonging to financial behemoth BlackRock, which filed for a Bitcoin ETF earlier this year, to crypto exchange Gemini shifting its users’ holdings to a wallet.
Robinhood transferred some 118,300 bitcoin to the wallet from several other smaller wallets over a three-month period, data shows. These tokens are custodied by crypto trading firm Jump Trading, Arkham representatives confirmed to CoinDesk in a Telegram message.
All of these holdings are held on the Bitcoin blockchain. The first transactions were made on March 8, after which huge amounts of bitcoin were transferred until July 14, data from BitInfoCharts show.
Meanwhile, the holdings shed light on the extent of Robinhood’s bitcoin exposure despite low crypto trading volumes on its platform.
Source: Robinhood Revealed to be Third-Largest Bitcoin Holder With $3B in BTC

No surprise there. Crypto exchanges need MASSIVES of bitcoin to manipulate the market. Manipulation of billions (in terms of dollars), gives a huge income, both when the cryptocurrency grows and when it falls.

I hope you don't think they are just holding these huge sums for themselves ? If the exchanges bought bitcoin for example 60.000 dollars - the amount of holding is of course huge, but you can also calculate the loss, at today's price, provided that it is the amount of accumulation and not the amount for market manipulation.

If they care about those lose for sure they might not exist for long years and for sure they are still bullish with holding that balances since there business still doing good and might the amount hodl is use for series of manipulation cases.

One of the reason why we always see a price fall if one of this institution fall or scare people about possible collapse since they can manipulate people to do dumps due to that amount they hold which possibly throw out once bad faiths come with them.
1011  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A good way to help our children. on: September 04, 2023, 01:13:00 PM
A good way to help our children is to make sure that they can finish their school from prep to collage, buy their basic needs and also to make them sharp on challenges in life. If they are ready and fully grown up as a person then introduce bitcoin to them so that they can easily understand it on more realistic ways and also they have clear ideas about the risk so that they always go on right place especially when starting to deal with their investments on cryptocurrencies.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 11:08:56 AM
Suddenly I'm seeing a lot of talk about the Suns trading Bradley Beal...  I don't even know if that's an option or something they would want, but I'm hearing names like Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.  I doubt the Suns would be willing to take on Harden as he's a huge risk and has already said he wants to be the number one option on whatever team he lands on, but Mitchell might be a legitimate option if they were trying to flip Beal.  I'd personally rather have Beal as I think he fits in better with other stars, but Mitchell is an elite player when it comes time to show it.

Mitchell would be a nice switch but doubt cavs would do that, and Harden just doesn't make any sense for the Suns.  Why would they already give up on Beal.  Where have ypu seen this chatter?  And last isn't there a set period of time that has to go by before he can be traded again?  If there is bad blood on that team already I'd be surprised.

Yes, that just don't make any sense because the Suns have poured enough resources to acquire Beal and then now they suddenly want to trade him so that they can make some space for Harden and Donovan. If it's Donovan, it would make sense but Harden? I don't think so. That man is already out of his prime, he can do some help but most of the time, he's just a star who is now a liability to any team that he lands on.

Well when they acquire Beal from the Wizards, it make no sense at all because of the huge contract that they have to inherit. But it seems the plan is to used him as leverage for future trade, for sure if there is a superstar that they want to trade, it won't be KD and not likely their franchise player in Booker.

So this is the only reason why the talks and the name of Beal suddenly pop up for a trade with Harden or even Donovan Mitchell. Sometimes it really doesn't make sense at all for teams to trade their superstars, it's a risk that the owners will have to take.

If it's Donovan Mitchell then I think it's worth it because acquiring Bradley Beal really hurt them because of his big contract like you've said, but I don't see any reasons why the Phoenix Suns would want to add James Harden in their roster, Mitchell would suffice. Harden's name might pop up in this rumored trade because of what he said against the Sixers but I don't think that it'll be a criteria for any team right now to acquire him because he's not that the same anymore.

Don't ever think that they need harden on the rooster since they are good team already. Considering adding him might create a bad atmosphere on the team knowing his attitude is not good if he didn't get want. Mitchell might be a good addition to them if he became a team player and can able to share the ball with his team mates but if he always want the ball in his hands maybe this is another fall down for them.

I remember when this is just started as how simple the entries was, but now? looking at those skills are truly amazing that looks professional works.
I have been following their contests from the beginning too and I observed a mix of simple and complex entries in all contests which most probably won't change at any point in the future.

Some of those simple entries are magnificent while some professional entries are boring. It's all very subjective at the end of the day.
Do you think they need some kind of rebranding of these art contest if they will ever make another one? How about other art rather than painting, drawing, digital drawings, handcrafts? I was thinking maybe some poems, haiku, music, photography, mascot, etc.? I think it's good if it will be changed every quarter something like that.

Might be a good idea but we don't know what will be the turn out of that suggestion so maybe its good to have a poll if majority of people would like to consider your suggestion or its ok to remain the same. But for me the current contest is good already and its just they need to specify the concept so that there will be no confusion and the artist can create a good art dedicated to season what Roobet trying to promote or celebrate.
1014  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Face unlock on bitcoin wallet devices on: September 02, 2023, 12:21:53 PM
It is on this forum that I knew using fingerprint to unlock wallet device is not good, specifically mobile phones. We know already that we should not have too much bitcoin on a mobile wallet. Let us assume that you have little amount of bitcoin on a mobile bitcoin wallet like Electrum or Bluewallet but you still want security.

Fingerprint is not secure, what about face unlock?
Really? Who has said that? I don't think it's a bad thing at all to use the fingerprint feature in order to unlock your hot wallet because it's very convenient and quick to use it. When you have to use your wallet several times in a day, it's boring to type your 6 or 8 digits long pin code in order to unlock your wallet and then to type again in order to send or to approve your transaction. Fingerprint safety help to keep your wallet lock when you're not using it without any extra boring thing to do.

Maybe he find it hassle since he will not say that if he think its good for him. I also didn't use that feature but not  the same with his reason since I just don't like to use it as we can't avoid to get wound on our hands and I'm worried about if we can't use our finger print to open up our wallet.  But for other its still good since this is additional security measure added for protection so if a user feel to use it then its really a good decision to do. For face unlock well I don't also use that and still doubting to try this feature.

Rollbit as we know it is one of the most reputable casino on this forum, and going by that status, it is imminent to know that or rather have the assurance that the cant unjustly abuse a gambler for no reason, any user with any kind of issue can freely contact their customer care, they are always available to answer to every ticket, even though the time and frequency they answer to every ticket differs depending on the complexity of the issue or problem brought before them, and also depend on the number of tickets they already have open and responding to, so every customer reaching out to this customer care should always exercise patience just in case getting answers seems to be taking some time.

The issues posted by some legit players are been solve so there's no question for other why theirs cannot, since if they just go directly to the support then show a proof or anything to validate their case then provably their issue will get fix. But we can't expect to have immediate response since they also need to verify and we should exercise to extend some patience since for sure the issue will get solve since they have reputation to protect.
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency restrictions in some countries is a blessing in disguise. on: September 01, 2023, 11:57:00 PM
Restriction of a country on Bitcoin will only pave the way to underground activity. I do not think it can cater to more adopters than when a country openly accepts Bitcoin.  Unless cryptocurrency does harm, it will never be a blessing in disguise if it is restricted to any country.  @OP You can sweet lemon the thought but it will never be better if a country accepts Bitcoin legally.
Agreed, it is possible to see good number of people staying away from cryptocurrency just because it isn't legalised within the country. Even now people have the understanding that Bitcoin is developed for the purpose of terrorism and illegal needs. This keeps them away and to avoid such occasions, legalizing could help with the better adoption.

For sure many people will follow their government if they restrict cryptocurrency and this will never be a blessing to crypto as a whole since it can limit the usage of this asset in that country. We can say its a blessing if government is openly accept crypto since we can assure that we can use it anywhere and we can cashout anytime we want. Maybe @OP didn't experience yet the worse about restriction that's why he can say that and if crypto is restricted for sure he's movement using that is so limited.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the size and frequency of online casino winnings depend on the time of year? on: September 01, 2023, 10:37:39 PM
I don't believe in gambling when it comes to the frequency of wins at any given time. And if that were true, surely many gamblers who know this will bet at a certain time to win, they will even bet large amounts to get big wins.
And I think that makes no sense, because no matter how long you bet, the house still wins. And that victory is due to luck which is not determined by time, and if there was one, I'm sure many casinos would have gone bankrupt at the time dictated by him.
It makes sense if you think about it because they only have to gamble at certain times, and perhaps they will even borrow money to use for gambling. They are sure they will win because they have experienced it before and want to do it again. But it has nothing to do with getting more wins at any given time.

But if some people think like that, we can't blame them because they already believe they can win at a certain time.

Maybe that is the one inserted on their minds that if they are experience it can give them more winnings at given time but most like it doesn't come always since gambling still base on luck. So we need to settle sone of our expectation and instead of keep looking forward to hit more gain much better if we just enjoy the games. There's no pattern we can use to determine any specific win at certain time so we should erase up the thoughts that there are certain time or rituals that can help us to win on gambling.
1018  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: September 01, 2023, 11:56:12 AM

If I may offer perspective from my own [personal] professional career, such cases where shareholders or the higher-ups are disagreeing about the direction of their company are not uncommon. And usually, it's solved through finding a middle way, taking majority votes if necessary, and on severe case, offering a buy out for the partners. One or two even publicly announced [it's a small business close to where I live] that they have internal issues and will come back with solution in an undetermined time, but assure that they will give their best, clear all of their duties and responsibilities, and then pull the brake while they internally solving their issue. None of the companies with these issues in the past from my experience took the houdini act.

To stage a come back is different from exit scam and you know the difference like you explained and narrated in your story at least the company told those customers that they are coming back better and stronger. This is what is expected from betnomi from customers and other people who may not have opened an account with them but were already believing in them only to be disappointed. So if company truly want to take a break to come back at a later date, they announce that to workers, customers and general public that is the difference.

But at the end of the day we shouldn't easily  believe on their claims that they come back more better and stronger since if they care about their reputation also on their community this incident will not happen. But since many has got compromised I guess much better to pass on and play on different reputable casino, since its hard to trust for second time again if they already failed their costumers who once trust them.

Other forum creators fail even if they pay good to their poster. How much more on the offer you placed here? Put your place to the position of poster and see how stressful to post something and you need to reach that thousand points before you can earn a some bucks. Maybe try another method since for sure what you posted will never be appealing to majority of posters here so read up the comments and learn something since the post given by people is a valid comments or suggestion.
1020  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying a house with 100% Bitcoin is possible in Portugal on: August 31, 2023, 01:02:57 PM
At the beginning of this month (May 2022), a house was sold in Portugal, in which it was fully paid for with Bitcoin. This was made possible, thanks to a new decree of law that allows crypto exchanges for houses. The house cost 3BTC at the time and it was all done legally.

You can find out more in these news:
EN: https://finbold.com/house-in-portugal-sold-for-3-bitcoins-in-a-historic-first-ever-direct-sale/
PT: https://www.idealista.pt/news/imobiliario/habitacao/2022/05/06/52164-casa-em-braga-e-comprada-por-3-bitcoins-e-a-1a-transacao-100-cripto

But the highlight now goes to the platform created by the real estate company responsible for this sale, where it lists all the properties that can be acquired with Bitcoin.

Cryptohouses

In addition to presenting a series of properties available to buy with Bitcoin, the company still gives full legal support so that everything is done according to the law.

___
NOTE: I have no connection to this property, I'm just sharing the information. I'm from Portugal and I can give you a few more details.

I think it is very good news for all of us who are related with Bitcoin. If Bitcoin legal in Portugal there no problem but Bitcoin were illegal there are some problem. Because government or legal authorities will creat problem and that will creat negative impact on bitcoin and crypto currency market. Overall i think if bitcoin were not illegal in Portugal it will create positive impact on cryptocurrency market. And it will be milestone for Bitcoin. Because usability of bitcoin will increase and Bitcoin will more popular and credible. But i think every country will think positive for bitcoin considering it’s necessity.
The fact that Bitcoin is legal in Portugal is why these two gentlemen are able to sell and buy their house with Bitcoin, and the fact that Bitcoin is legal in Portugal has made this news so big. Bitcoin is legal in most of the countries in Europe, so it is very easy to transact with Bitcoin in those countries. If you want to transact through bitcoin then the government of that country will not stop you but you may be hindered by the security aspect of bitcoin. But those who are involved with Bitcoin should not worry about the security system of Bitcoin transaction system because the security system of Bitcoin transaction is good enough so that transactions can be done safely through Bitcoin.

Maybe they are worried about the security since they are dealing with huge amount so maybe that's the reason why they didn't choose to use bitcoin on that transaction. If I am also the seller or buyer I will directly use fist since I can't take to have stress dealing with huge amount and let it sleep on your wallet for 24 hours or more than that since we don't know when the hacking issue comes. Maybe in future if we know that platforms or bitcoins is 100% sure people will gain confidence to use bitcoin on huge transactions especially buying a real estate assets.
