1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 25, 2016, 03:37:22 AM
I'd say aprox a quarter of whats stopping people from using Bitcoin is the media made conception that Bitcoin is associated with criminal activity.

There are actually a lot of reasons stopping people from using bitcoin but you are right, that is a big reason in some places where media is working dawn to dusk to kill the positive concept of bitcoin from the minds of people, and the people who were never aware about it are believing it with blind eyes without doing their own research about bitcoin.

Well I am pretty sure that media is controlled by the government. They want to take it down rather than accepting or adapt it. This currency is free and they dont want any people to be free. Democracy is a joke it is just a reason for government to steal from people. Yeah freedom of stealing.
Yes indeed possible in some countries prohibit crypto like bitcoin for violating the rules. It is going to make bitcoin difficult to develop. But I believe bitcoin will evolve and users are still using bitcoin.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: June 25, 2016, 03:03:42 AM
With revenues of bitcoin I would be able to help my income and sometimes I used to buy things like clothes, food, etc. There are no specific plans as I only use bitcoin as an extra income.
1003  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: June 25, 2016, 01:59:41 AM
Bitcoin wont die if many user is using it.But it can be banned in other country resulting to decreasing of users who are using bitcoins
Yes true while they were using bitcoin and still make a profit for its users bitcoin certainly will not die.
I believe bitcoin will not die if it continues to grow.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: June 25, 2016, 01:17:41 AM
i only have a little problem with bitcoin and it is slow transaction and too many confirmation but i know that it is normal and also the big and quick deflation rate . it will be the main problem of all bitcoin users and investors .
Yes me too, i see many people here are problem is about the transaction confirmations we are all the same we have same problems, we will just hoping for a faster confirmation in the future
Yes really possible if the confirmation of receipt can be done quickly it will make users more comfortable with bitcoin. I too have experienced the constraints of his pending confirmation of acceptance for 5 days and it seems to me very disturbing.
1005  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 25, 2016, 12:48:31 AM
Right now I do nothing with it because of the price increasing, the halving is also coming and I want to make as much as possible profit so spending would than not be good.
Yes maybe if the price increase happens we can only wait for the price to be improved and continues to collect bitcoin.
Need patience to use bitcoin and should be used at the right time.
1006  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 24, 2016, 03:38:06 PM
Is the question What we like best about bitcoin or what we like best about bitcoin forum?
There appears to be replies for both in this thread?
It is clear that the original poster is asking about bitcoin itself and for me I like the flexibility of money exchange in bitcoin.
bitcoin able to get people into a profit, even if you just hold it, but it's not the best part. I guess I like bitcoin because I think it could be a good income on the internet for me
Absolutely we can get a lot of advantages in bitcoin in an easy way.
We can get a lot of profits just by saving it. Many also the ease of bitcoin I love.
1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 24, 2016, 03:27:39 PM
You should discuss all the things that you know about bitcoin tell him/her. You don't need to hide everything and I think it will encourage him if he will see you are earning to this .That with bitcoins you can earn crypto money that you can convert into real money.

I think personally it is great to teach someone about bitcoin but it is a little hard if they dont know about the business world, if they do though you could just relate it to some stocks because btc is a stock.

You have to explain the simplicity in BTC because it really is not a complicated currency.
Yeah right once quite explain it simply and pull them to be active in this forum. I am sure if he continues to look for surely he would understand bitcoin quickly because here there is a lot of information about bitcoin.

Initiative should come from within, you cannot teach or motivate someone who is really not interested in it, if he finds it interesting he will start researching on his own.

agreed, it's usually someone who got interested to something it definitely by itself will begin studying and researching it. I think this is just the way scientific and we can only give a sense of it and motivate

Very true for those interested in bitcoin and make them wonder. If they were interested they would try and keep digging until they can master bitcoin. Because it will be useless if we teach people if they are not interested in advance.
1008  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 23, 2016, 12:00:19 PM
I rarely spend my bitcoin to buy stuff, because it's still rare store that accepts bitcoin. but sometimes I use bitcoin to recharge my phone, and mostly I do for trading and make profits in other ways.
It is a good way. I am using my bitcoin just to add to my income.
And I used to buy food and clothes I want. Some also I use to trade.
1009  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: June 23, 2016, 10:48:54 AM
Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.

I will buy more bitcoins and wait for the time when the value of bitcoin raises to a good amount then i will sell bitcoin Tongue i guess everyone on this forum will do the same thing !!
I guess now is the time for you to sell bitcoin because the price is currently on good condition, otherwise price falling will comes suddenly just like what happen few days back
Yes to sell bitcoin should wait for higher prices first in order to gain an advantage. And decline to $ 1 bitcoin was reasonable and even more, the most important after the price fall will increase.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: June 23, 2016, 10:29:14 AM
I guess the my biggest problem about bitcoin as what alnost everyone here experienced is the confirmation time, that takes so long period of time before I received the bitcoin to my account.
Yeah right, I've been having trouble confirmation stalled for 5 days. Perhaps it should be repaired by bitcoin so that users can feel comfortable. But it does not become a severe problem.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 23, 2016, 10:02:26 AM

1012  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 22, 2016, 11:32:35 AM
I like best in bitcoin the simplicity of use as well as the anonymity that it brings. It basically means a freer market which is always good in my opinion, and a currency without government intervention.

That is definitely better than fiat currencies.

Yeah true. Its simplicity is best then other currencies. More easy then other to trade it. Fast and safe transactions. The main factor i like about it is that it can be trade any time, at any place through internet. But only a issue is that people are not more known about it. There are many countries which is not accepting bitcoins. That is the main cause of lowerity and less awareness about bitcoin.
Absolutely in bitcoin we get a lot of freedom from using bitcoin to save us so freely. We can trade and make a profit here. It was very practical. There are some states that prohibit using bitcoin I think maybe because it will affect the economy and be competitive so it can be detrimental.
1013  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2016, 11:19:07 AM
rich with bitcoin or rich with dollar all are same ,first i believe some where hard work counts Smiley
Yes to be rich in bitcoin also takes hard work.
Since we are in addition to waiting for the best prices will also collect bitcoin that more and could benefit us.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 22, 2016, 11:11:21 AM
Well, teaching someone about Bitcoin when they are only a beginner is never an easy task, because they will certainly be asking a lot of questions and you may not know all of the answers to.

However, one of the simplest explanation you can give is "Decentralized, anonymous currency".

Sometimes it's quite difficult to convince people to trust on bitcoin since they are something new  !
Also let say if your goverment did not approve bitcoin, it getting difficult for bitcoin to keep spread out their existense at your place...

Yes it might be quite explain it with bitcoin we can get money easily. I'm sure if he likes he definitely interested and asked how.
It is very difficult to benefit developing countries restrict bitcoin in use.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: June 22, 2016, 10:55:50 AM
Confirmation time

Confirmation time to me isnt the real big deal here to me it's selling it, cant sell them for paypal, cant sell them on debit...well you can just not "safely" i just dont like how unsafe selling btc is

Great currency for small-major transactions without having to file any of it majorly.
Confirmation greatly affect the time and trouble for me. Since I've pending for more than five days and it was very disturbing. Perhaps if the transaction can be with a fast time can be better. Because how else is the number one user comfort.
1016  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 22, 2016, 10:39:28 AM
I hold it
Patientce and wait for the best time to sell it. maybe 1 weeks before the halving the price will increased
I'm sure you are an investor or buy bitcoin at a low price and then sell it when it is high. Of course you have to wait a long time to wait for prices to rise. yeah it's up to you
Yes really possible if people have the bitcoin wallet each investor it is arguably as if patiently waiting will certainly benefit from rising prices. If I only collect bitcoin until I want and sell it.
1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 21, 2016, 01:22:39 PM
I think there were a reason for them to stop using bitcoin. They might get scammed or losed their money when they used bitcoin currency
Perhaps the reason for that may represent a whole is that bitcoin is not able to provide benefits. I'm sure if bitcoin could not develop and the slump will be a lot of people who stop using bitcoin.
1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long is Bitcoin life? on: June 21, 2016, 12:41:30 PM
It is really hard to predict for what is going to happen in the future with Bitcoin and that is because you have to know that there will be more people that is going to have some Bitcoin.
And you also dont even know what is going to happen with the value of Bitcoin sot hat is another problem.

Dude if we talk about future, it's normal that we don't know what is going to happen not only for Bitcoin but for everything also. But we can predict following the actual stats of Bitcoin, and i think it's having a shining future.
True to imagine and predict events bitcoin appropriate now it can be done. And it could be accurate if properly. I'm sure if bitcoin can grow and can keep pace with the times will surely be able to have a long life. Because the update was to be sure and that development must exist in order not to die.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 21, 2016, 12:19:51 PM
I believe bitcoins will make banks disappear, but it will take a long time as the centralized system won't give in so easily. Decentralized system is the future, but centralized system wont' give up without a fight.

I don't think that Banks will be disappear as they have build the trust among the people, people are looking at bank to keep their money safe and for making big amount transactions. Bitcoin doesn't have that reputation, it will be popular and be important part of the global currency but it will never replace banks.
Yes absolutely right banks will not disappear because the banks will certainly always be updated with the times. So he could follow developments and could definitely compete. Very unlikely bitcoin could eliminate banks.

Making banks disappear is very impossible thing to happen. And it is very important in a government.
I don't think the government will allow that to happen, as banks are playing an important role in the economy of a country.
Yes absolutely right banks holding the economy of a country and it is very important. If a country uses bitcoin I believe the country's economy is not stable. That will not happen bitcoin will make banks disappear.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 21, 2016, 12:04:02 PM
I tried many times to teach people around me about the bitcoin, some of them go attracted towards it and are part of this forum, but majority of people were simply not interested in it.

yeah how do you teach someone to be interested in bitcoin? as show the results you get from bitcoin? or you show a value of bitcoin? I think it could make people interested. who is not interested when we showed a lot of money? Grin Grin

Yeah money is an deciding factor to attract someone towards bitcoin, as everyone wants and loves money, so if you tell them that you can earn good money from it, they will definitely start using it.
Yeah right of people interested in bitcoin for sure because there is the money factor. I'm sure if they need the money by telling bitcoin course they would be interested and do not need to explain too complicated.
