17 numbers in the prefix. Should be in the block chain shortly. Unseats the 15 easily. Had to change the regex search I found 17 numbers together in the middle of the address on another one... oops.

What is DOJ stands for?
Department of Just Us. USA DOJ? What technically they could do? I may not have grabbed the appropriate arm of enforcement, but they would shut them down like they did before. It is not possible like they did before because it is now out of their jurisdiction. Even TLD .co.nz If they want it out of all jurisdiction they could always get a .bit domain. Just because it isn't "in" their jurisdiction doesn't mean that they can't apply rules to it making it in their jurisdiction or inflicting harm. Kim's a running bulls-eye and my original point was that although the price is incredible, I wouldn't want to use it for legitimate purposes because it will eventually have troubles. I am in the United States, so even if that trouble is they force all US ISP's to block it, I would still be negatively effected and unable to use it for legitimate purposes.

How can they possibly provide that much for so cheap?
2 TB space and 4 TB bandwidth for $20 a month? Drop box, google storage, any of that at higher rates can't touch that price. Too bad they promote it so much for illegal stuff because that would be nice to use for legitimate backup space.
Nothing stopping you from using it for totally "legitimate" purposes. But when DOJ decides to shut them down, my backups are gone. Sure their new plan is to make them unstoppable but my fears of what the gov can do... make me think that kim likes putting a bullseye on his back.

Maybe someone diplomatic representation of us should ask this reseler and maybe even mega to place some signs that they accept bitcoins?
I'll try, and correct me if my English is bad:
" Dear hosting.co.uk crew I want to ask if it is possible to place in some visible place graphical information abaut accepting bitcoin on your page?
I'm sure that it would greatly increase your sales, because there is hude intrest about that. Unfortunately now you cant's notice it on the first glance ande even my friend who get link to your site ignored my info about you accepting BTC because of that. I believe that if you make it easily visible it will bring lots of clients to you.
Mateusz Kowalczyk bitcointalk.org forum member "
Try this... Hey I want to buy your shit. I googled bitcoin and found bitcointalk.org is that wtf you're talking about? If so, why don't you put some info on your site so I can figure this shit out without having to contact you first?

You're correct, the main benefit to my unlocking service compared AT&T is listed below: •Less wait time (typically unlocked in 24 hours vs. 5-7 business days) •No application denial (Any iPhone that meets my requirements will be unlocked or you get a full refund) •Unlock for iPhone's whose contract has not yet expired/terminated (AT&T will not do an unlock for iPhone's still under a contact) If they deny me, I'll PM you. Not in a hurry, it's sat in a draw for a month.

Does the phone currently have to have service for it to work? Say I moved to the iphone 5, have an old iphone4 sitting around, it has no SIM card in it now... but would love to toss it on tmobiles $30 prepaid plan.

But seriously guys I don't think the site gives a shit about the 3 bitcoins I "stole" from them. I don't even know if it was the receiving end's error, it could have been the site I was sending from (yet I would hope that site would not act in such a way, being widely used). I'm pretty sure if any of you found this you wouldn't have posted it on this forum period. I was just curious to know if anyone had encountered such a transaction error before.
Yes I have. I double clicked on a withdraw function, and was paid twice. I tested it with a smaller amount, and clicked on the button as many times as I could. I was sent 15 or 16 of the same amount, and for both instances my account was only debited the original transaction. I informed the site owner, and asked where I could send the coins back to and how to reproduce the result. He took the coins back and I wasn't awarded for it, and I'd do it again. But that's just me. My dad taught me that honesty isn't doing the right then when someone's watching, but doing the right thing when no one's there to watch you. Crypto currency makes it really easy for the eyes not to be on you. I guess I could still report error, or even better, I could gamble back away the 3 btc I "stole" from the casino.
Say this site is a roulette wheel and you bet the 3 coins on 00 and win. You going to keep betting until you lose the 3 and anything from it? The right thing to do is contact the site and let them know about the issue and return the coins. That's the right thing. But may not be part of your moral fabric.

I withdrew the coins right away and the transaction did in fact go through, I made 5x my initial small amount out of nothing. I'm going to see if the site is still doing the same thing. If it is I'll make my fortune then let you guys know the name :p
What a stand up guy. Remind me to never do business with you.

Does it save them anywhere now? I've recently found that mine closes itself after finding the address (Resulting in me leaving the computer for hours to find it closed after spending days generating one)
>vanitygen Vanitygen 0.22 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 May 2012) Usage: vanitygen [-vqrikNT] [-t <threads>] [-f <filename>|-] [<pattern>...] Generates a bitcoin receiving address matching <pattern>, and outputs the address and associated private key. The private key may be stored in a safe location or imported into a bitcoin client to spend any balance received on the address. By default, <pattern> is interpreted as an exact prefix.
Options: -v Verbose output -q Quiet output -r Use regular expression match instead of prefix (Feasibility of expression is not checked) -i Case-insensitive prefix search -k Keep pattern and continue search after finding a match -N Generate namecoin address -T Generate bitcoin testnet address -X <version> Generate address with the given version -F <format> Generate address with the given format (pubkey or script) -P <pubkey> Specify base public key for piecewise key generation -e Encrypt private keys, prompt for password -E <password> Encrypt private keys with <password> (UNSAFE) -t <threads> Set number of worker threads (Default: number of CPUs) -f <file> File containing list of patterns, one per line (Use "-" as the file name for stdin) -o <file> Write pattern matches to <file> -s <file> Seed random number generator from <file> I was just wondering if it saved them by default, I'm too dumb to read. Thanks hahah If you run the program as a batch file, you can toss a pause after it, so that the shell stays open after it finds it if you're just looking for one. I agree though with -o, output it to a file somewhere in case of a power bump or something.

Wow! Can you make an outgoing tx, or sign a message using that address, to show that you do own it? Did you find it through vanitygen too? Meh... I can but I'm not going to. http://blockchain.info/address/195579733194698xrh7CqDNfzewa4Y4FHKLook at when it was entered into the blockchain and when I posted. I posted before it was even confirmed because I sent the first transaction to it. I did use vanitygen, and haven't imported the key yet. I'll import it later and sign it something for you.

Hey guys, been away from forum for a couple months, can anyone give me a quick update on
1. how is the lawsuit for BTC consultancy (Bitcoinica)? 2. anyone got money back from Pirates? 3. what happened to butterfly and other ASICS?
I hope this is the right sub-forum.
Nothing. That's not true. You could definitely say that Basic has some serious issues right now. BFL is still Today + 30 away from delivery like it has been for 4 months.

It depends if the deity you pray to for forgiveness accepts bitcoins, for example, if you were a Mormon and stole bitcoins, you're screwed, but the Jews however [redacted racial stereotype].
If you're not sure, it never hurts to try anyway.
Are Mormon's not Christians who believe they can be forgiven? Or are you saying their church won't take bitcoins?

Who is supposed to be buying?
Private equity. This would have been cool to know about 2 hours ago, now... who cares?

The OP should list all of the dates that were stated by the manufacturer and cross them out when they've been missed.
ie,
Mid November 2012
Early December 2012
Mid January 2013 Late 2015
Is there forum software that can handle posts this large? Is there any BB code, where they could just post a formula in code: Dim Today as Date Dim ShipDate as Date Dim Today as Date = Now()
ShipDate = Today + 30;
