1001  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-04]Fourth largest Bitcoin exchange. Bithumb, hacked for billions of Won on: July 05, 2017, 10:57:30 AM
Where we go again with "hacked." I don't even know what to believe in anymore. These news comes popping up whenever the prices are really high. Should we investigate the hacking or the owners and administrators of those exchange? I think the latter are more interesting to investigate than seeing if there was really a hack.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: June 30, 2017, 10:48:47 AM
Do you know a good strategy to increase faucet satoshis (300-500) to couple thousand?
since knowing about faucet for first time,i never found faucet with thousand or more satoshi in one hit,and now i found freebitcoin give me around 1250 satohi or maybe now getting more,i dont know why they give that amount, celebrate with bitcoin price nowdays maybe Cheesy but i'm sure it will not hold for long time, that amount maybe hold for a week.

It's really impossible to convert those faucet claims into something that would be withdrawable. There is a super small chance to withdraw it because it is so hard to even double your money let alone x40 - x100 it. I haven't done it ever since I started gambling, and that was a more than two years ago. I still keep trying when I have the time, but its hard to hit this than winning the lottery.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Incredible odds. Need your opinion about new game! on: June 30, 2017, 10:37:09 AM

P.S. And yes, it is a probably scam. The topic starter has no positive nor negative reputation or trust level.

Was wonder why OP did placed this? I guess this is a clear message that the community is beginning to be a really hostile one to everybody with an ounce of an idea left in them.

@OP, I do hope you still create whatever you are making. You just have to create some sort of announcement thread that would disclose every fact about your project and probably you'll get enough interest with it.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: June 30, 2017, 10:23:29 AM
I am not greedy when it comes in gambling, when I play it is just fine for me if I lose because I really just spent money that is only that I can afford to lose, maybe people are asking this kind of question is because they really bet huge amount that is really in reality we didn't need it in our entire life, we just need to earn money and then save and put up some business or even small business is fine. Gambling can stop if we are really determined to stop when we are already addicted.

It is good because when we are not greedy then we always be in a profit even we have lost but gambling is a game, where only one party will win.
If we are not winning the game, then i think we should relax and accept the lose, but only that amount lose which we can afford it.

There probably are less greedy gamblers than those who look at it just as a form of entertsinment. If you are responsible, you'll know that betting an amount you can't afford or is not yours will likely put you in trouble. I never was greedy when it comes to game of chances as i weigh the benefits of it against the consequences and the latter largely outweighs the former

I beg to disagree. I think there are more greedy gamblers than responsible ones or smart ones. These greedy gamblers are the ones fueling the success of casinos everywhere, be it online or the real thing. If everybody had the wits to even withdraw when the time is right, I don't think casinos would have profited this much. I commend you though, for being a smart gambler that doesn't listen to greed.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Incorporating a deposit system for a gambling website on wordpress on: June 30, 2017, 10:13:13 AM
If you are making a gambling site, please please let the professionals do it for you. Pay someone to create it for you, as there is a high chance that you will fail if you don't even know what you are doing. There is chances that you can get hacked or your game itself be hacked in to letting your gamblers win all the time.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: June 30, 2017, 10:04:28 AM

that's right mate, those pro gambler really knows how to control their emotion, they didn't follow what greediness wants them they just enjoyed and earn little by little, that's the advantage that they have they know how to avoid mistakes and knows to limit everything beforehand.

Pro gamblers are different than us but they are no different then us when it comes to luck. Luck is the only thing that you need when you play and Im the guy with a very bad luck, that is why I only choose to play for fun. I have lose alot of money when I try to play for profit so that I now only play for fun

Its true and I would like to point out that pro gamblers have a hard time dealing with luck and that is why they play more of the EV+ games - poker and other PvP games with mostly inexperienced players. They try to bait them and then loot them (plain and simple). In this way you can earn a lot but I dont recommend it to others at all - according to me its a very cheap method of scamming (in other words).

Nah, there are also many pro gamblers that gamble on sportsbook and dice sites. The different on pro gamblers and us is pro gamblers already experience it about gambling and they won't lose again in the same thing. Some gamblers mistake is also common though like me too.

Playing in dice games is not a pro thing to do. Being pro does not mean you are boast about it rather you will be making more income than losses. Though gambling should not be thought of a mode of earning and should be considered to be entertainment. In dice games the odds are against us and thus we can lose all our money anytime if we are not careful and luck is the major factor.
Why do you say that playing dice is not a pro thing to do? No one is really a professional gambler, except those guys that play poker for a living. They are the truly the only professionals in gambling.

Dice game or other games, the odds are all against us. If you examine them deeply, keeping in mind the concepts of statistics, it would show that gambling will always result to losses.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting started with sports betting! on: June 30, 2017, 09:57:54 AM
I plan to start with sports betting. I know there is many threads about betting on sports here, I read most of them, but I`m interested in which site have the minimal bets.
   -Cloudbet.com
   -Sportsbet.io
   -Nitrogensports.eu
   -Betcoin.ag
   -Lunarbets.eu
   -Directbet.eu

All this sites are looking great on first look, but I don`t wish to register on each one of them just to check how much is the minimal bet. I also wish to ask how much is your minimal bet per match or per betting slip (did I say this good? I`m not so familiar with some sportbetting terms in english, when I stuck on something I will ask for specific words or terms in the future), and do you bet more on goals, half-times, results, or name it yourself.
I`m looking forward to read everything you have to say about this.

If you are looking to bet on NBA events then I recommend Nitrogen but not Cloudbet. The former is very good and has really good reputation, though a lot of people complain about their odds. The latter on the other hand has incomplete odds, they even sometimes lack odds on a particular game and not even a money line on it which is annoying at time.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: June 30, 2017, 09:51:48 AM
I don't go to land based casinos any more.
I find somehow much better to play online, in my opinion house edge is much lower in gambling sites. House edge in real casino can go up to 20% and games are not provably fair.

When you don't want to get hassle, you will be better to play online with casino's and use crypto currency or bitcoin in specific. That's the disadvantage of real casino's but the service is quite good and different for playing online. But if you are a saver while gambling and you don't want to lose a lot, go with online.

That is the revolution of gambling. Online gambling will revolutionize gambling forever, people hasn't just realized it yet but it will catch on and the gambling world will have to share a big chunk of the pie as more and more online gambling sites open and gain popularity. Time is changing and we all have to keep up with the times. So does gambling.

I believe soon they are going to see the potential of online gambling. This is going to catch their very own eyes as it is going to make them favorable and convenient upon playing and using online gambling.
The future of gambling is online like everything else, I agree with you guys. There will come a time that everything will be online and traditional gambling will be replaced by online casinos and other gambling sites. Change is constant and this applies to even old concepts such as gambling. Everything need to adopt to the generation it is in and right now the millennial generation is all online.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Won 0.4 Btc with 0.1 Btc deposit! Finally a deposit which came out xd on: June 30, 2017, 09:42:02 AM
You didn't even say what did you play Sad
What strategy did you use, did you go very low with your balance or just straight up wins etc.
No real information provided Sad

Its not necessary to tell his strategy to everyone and so is his real information. He is just telling his experience on the site which seems pretty well with faster withdrawals Cheesy

Yeah that is true. There is no point in knowing it but it would be nice to know. So that people could probably recreate what he was able to do. Though I highly doubt it would be possible that anyone would be able to recreate it and be able to x4 their money like how they did it. This was just pure luck and nothing more. So that's a point for not knowing what strategy it is.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to attract investors (500 BTC) for new betting concept on: June 30, 2017, 09:32:57 AM
Guys,

Thanks again for your insights/advice.
We are working on our site an will raise initial funds to promote it.

Kind regards

(oh btw: I will give all details about myself, the team, the projects, the financials, the direction (roadmap) we are heading to and furthermore very soon.
Still working on other projects -non-bitcoin-related-... So Excuse me if I'm not very very active in replying here... just very busy now, limited timeframe... (and its 37 degrees where I am now Cheesy )

Great to see that you have initiative to create the project. I would advice to really really post a good announcement (ANN) thread that would explain everything to the community so that you get investors. Usually it's hard to find an angel investor that will fund the whole thing, but you can likely find many investors that would support the whole project.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell me how this strategy losses? on: June 30, 2017, 07:04:49 AM
OP just described a martin gale strategy. Though it is not the strict martin gale system where you double your bet every loss, this is still one of those and is a modified version. You can see that these kind of strategy never worked, if it did then no casinos would have stood till now. There is no winning strategy that would win 100% of the time, it could win, but wait for a 20 game losing streak see what I am talking about.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: June 30, 2017, 03:32:06 AM
i agree with above money is EVERYTHING in gambling. those who say its just for fun or whatever are just losing gamblers. if you dont earn money in gambling you better stop because you are just wasting your time
Gambling is not a way to earn money. You will feel addicted if you think this is a job. All will disappear quickly and regret is the end result.

It's the truth about gambling that most of us are thinking that gambling is a way to earn money. And I agree with Davidic, that above everything money is always in gambling. I either is saying before that it's not usually needed or something important but if you are into real gambling, it's what you need.

Gambling like the games your play temple run or candy crush with the addition. But more you will invest the gambling. If you consider gambling is the way to earn bitcoins. You will loose all your money. Casino, slot and betting all will give you win with your luck factor only.

There's no gambling in playing temple run or candy rush. It's a total way for you to have fun and it's just a simply mobile app game where you can play when you have spare time. There's no money involved there and there's no risking of money there so I don't consider that as those you had mentioned are just applications.

Well some people enjoy gambling games than playing temple run or candy crush (not rush), or any other mobile game or pc game. That's how some people are wired. Some people like to play black jack even for fun and it gets more exciting if there is a few dollars on the line per bet! Similar to people who love to play poker or bet on sports.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: June 30, 2017, 03:15:40 AM
Pacquiao hasn't knocked out an opponent for so long and I don't think this will change on his next bout. Also he's been challenging weak fighters ever since and he has not fought anyone that is his caliber so I think this one is just for the money and nothing else. For sure Pacquiao will win this but it would be a disappointing and boring match like the rest he had.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what are the strategies you use in satoshimines ? on: June 30, 2017, 03:08:28 AM
I just pick whatever feels like the right one, though I always failed at it so there's really little point in discussing it. But I guess there isn't really any strategy in any of this as this is still gambling. There is a great deal of randomness to the game and you can't always be right. Similar to dice, there is no strategy that can win this game like every other gambling game.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is the easiest to wager/win on: June 30, 2017, 03:00:39 AM
Which sports or matches are the easiest to wager on? I know different people like different sports but which one is most or easily profitable than others? Most people stick with what they know only, like me I prefer tennis, world cup football and basketball but which ones you should bet on since they are "easy"

None! It's all the same, you will have to figure out though where you are good at. It can be easy if you know the ins and outs of that sport. All of them are equally hard so it is the job of the bettor to have the knowledge and expertise in that sort of sport to be able to bet on the right team and event. Personally, I love basketball, so I excel there. Probably you have to know what you love.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: June 29, 2017, 09:50:36 PM
When did you start gambling online (and offline if you do not mind sharing)? Is it because of the awesome Games and Rounds forum at Bitcointalk?

Do you only start gambling after you use Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency) because you feel that you cannot be tracked?

I started gambling many years ago in a casino while I was on vacation. It was interesting and thrilling at the same time. Wondering if there is a way to consistently beat the casino at its own game, it kicked off my fascination with games of chance till this day.
i also start gambling years ago may be when i was in teen age, and now i am 36. i mostly play gambling with old traditional method but now it is gradually changing into modern method, using bitcoin while setting in my own house and play gambling online. although i was already playing sports gambling with local bookings using mobile phone, but now can use to play gambling online that is really fun.

Oh man, you grew up gambling! That's cool. Would you say that you profited from your gambling experience? Did you get better through time under your sports betting games? I actually stopped playing sprots gambling as I don't know if I could profit or just lose massive amounts of money for it
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: June 29, 2017, 09:44:36 PM
Winning feels good! Of course, it is very blissful. It is like the feeling of being a one-time millionaire. You feel you want it to happen again. Some who wins in gambling will just use the money to play again, to try their luck again. Sometimes they get lucky and sometimes the worst is about to happen. I haven’t experience win in gambling, but if I do, I will not bet the money again. I will leave or left the site and keep the money.
nah i believe that's what a lot of people feeling. but mostly all of that just a temporary feeling get a huge glory and celebrate here and there. don't go crazy to spend it all in a single day , as you might could lost it all back in the coming days, bankroll would very helpful in this case believe me. be wise to choose any amount of money you have won , that's also the key.
Can you see some gambler who got sad when he won a particular bet? For sure you wont see such thing since as a normal person we would really be happy on winning money thats why most of us do play gambling because of the aim of earning money. Excitement and thrill would be also there but there are disadvantages on these things because this will mold us up on becoming a gambler later on.

I agree, I haven't seen a crying winner. They cry because of happiness though, so that doesn't count. People get really excited whenever we win anything from anything! That's just human nature to be happy about winning something for free. Especially when the price is really nice and/or the person winning has really aimed for that prize, then that is pure bliss for him.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: June 29, 2017, 09:39:17 PM
The only method is through self-restraining and setting limits to yourself on gambling, both winning money and losing money, Enforcing these limits would still need you to have a strong personality and never exceeding the limits you, yourself set.
The strong personality is the key always.
But when people are into rushing for making their life's biggest opportunity of making easy money, we could never expect them maintaining their strong will. Your self control will challenge you and most of the time people are forgetting their resolutions and just obeying the order of their emotions.
It will be most likely be forgotten by most people or gambler on which their limitation have been put aside already when they are already playing gambling unlike on the times he didnt play he would definitely say that he has control but once hes on the field or playground they will surely forgot those words and let their emotions and aims control them in the end.

It really depends on the person. For me, I had a bad case of chasing losses, but since I realized that I could chase no more, I stopped depositing and had discipline not to deposit more than what I can afford to lose, which is small by the way like around 1mbtc. That's my rule nowadays, so I don't get upset for losing so much money to gambling.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: June 29, 2017, 09:20:30 PM
Frankly I think the answer is No, On short term, You might get lucky once or twice and end up with profit but on regular and long term gambling the house edge and the casino spread is against the player (on %50 winning chance, you lose %1 for house edge), Hence I think gambling is a negative sum game on long term.

If you are a gambler and you usually play dice game everyday, the answer is no. But if you are an investor that's a different case. Many are satisfied by being an investor to different gambling sites and that makes gambling profitable in the long term and no other way but by being an investor.

Investing in casinos and gambling are two different things, it's actually a world of a difference in terms of definition. The rule goes that the house will never lose to the gamblers in the long run. If you invest then you are on the side of the house against if you are a gambler then you are in the opposite side which is the losing side. That's how gambling investments work.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making easy gambling site on: June 29, 2017, 09:15:45 PM
if you want create gambling site you must have big money
buy lisence, server, and than safe bankroll must enough

without skill programing very dificult have gambling site, because is easy youre gambling site can hack

Even pandacoin team doesn't have programmer because they can just simply hire a developer for them and do the rest for their convenience. It's a very easy thing they only need budget for it.

See if you are a programmer and hire some people and create website then you will not face any more difficulties, but if you don't have any programming knowledge and you invest and hire people for this and create website from them it is possible, but after some time if they want to walk out from your project, it will be very difficult for you to handle that situation. The money will make people change at any time.

Yes that's the good thing for having a programming skills but he needs to know on what type of level he is. Beginner, average and so on but I guess he still needs some expert for the success of his operation. To those developers that has a very good experience.

Now in this time, most of the successful gambling sites are here, then gambling maker could judge which things gamblers required to play and show interest in which games. But i think in this time, every gambling sites have competition, that the reason if anyone decide to make own gambling site then should do something unique and different.

Being unique and different is totally the way to go about creating a new gambling site. Though you can always try to do the same thing but doing it extra ordinarily better than your competitors. Look at yolodice. They're just new, but they are one of the most played and trusted dice site on the forum. Don't reinvent the wheel, just improve it.

I agree. It's like making your own ice cream. It is not unique or something new, but your only option to succeed would be to be better than the others. If you can make a casino that is much better than the others but having the same game, then you could win the competition. You can always innovate in terms of the features of your game anyway.
