There are issues circling around Teofimo Lopez about his mental health and it is said in the news that it's about the ongoing divorce with his wife and not letting him see their baby. But he said he is in great shape so I think this fight will go on.

The fight will be a title match for the WBO World Super Light. This could become an entertaining match.

Teofimo being bz with the preparation enable him to avoid the ghost of his relationship with his wife.  With the upcoming fight, and Teofimo being a profesional boxer, I think he has no time to think about the ongoing devorce because his time is occupied by his training.  So I believe he is really in great shape when he stated that.

With the previous fight having the same result (split decision) I also think that the upcoming fight would be an entertaining match but I am still incline to think that Lopez has the upper hand in the fight.

we will just know the impact of his personal life after the fight is over. especially if in case he will lose the match, then other issues will emerge why the loss. but for now, we wish the best for him, at least achieve something for himself despite his personal problems.
also, have you read some articles that josh taylor is eyeing for the winner of spence vs crawford fight after his fight with teofimo? seems that he's confident that he will win over teofimo.
taylor wants ko as fast as he can, but imo, lopez won't give him easy fight.

Well, I'm more inclined seeing Teofimo Lopez being 100% focus in his fight although his chances to win are not that strong because I don't want to hear some issues about his possible reasons like whatever is going on in his personal life. We surely don't want Josh Taylor to win a fight just because Lopez got something serious in his personal life.

It's much better to see these boxers in a battle mode rather than having conflicts that will really affect their upcoming fight.

I know the Miami Heat won the last game, but I just don't see them winning any more than one more throughout this series.  I guess I would be foolish to count them out, like I and many others have throughout the entire playoffs, but I just think Denver is that much better.

Game is at -2.5 Denver right now, I'm liking those odds, even if they are in Miami.

That was their thought after what happened in game 1 but to spice things up look at what the Heat have done. they are not gonna give up easily until the last minute f the game and they ended up winning the second game. if they improve their game tomorrow and do not let Denver make a huge lead throughout the game, then they will do the same scenario where they gonna hassle in the fourth quarter and steal the show as they had in the second game.

We cannot predict the outcome of the game with certainty. In my opinion, it's not just about which team is better, but also a battle between the coaches. I believe Coach Spo is a strong coach who excels at making in-game adjustments. While I may be wrong, I don't guarantee that Miami will win. However, judging by their performance in Game 2, even with Butler not scoring well, I anticipate that they will pose a significant challenge to the Nuggets.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 07, 2023, 11:09:44 AM
I have skip game 2 betting on the Heat, damn, I missed those great odds. I'm thinking that I will be betting on them in game 3 since it will be in their homecourt.

So with that I will go all the way with them at ML, 2.2x is already attractive for me. I think the Heat will try to go for the lead here, it's their homecourt so they are in a advantage. And perhaps they will not admit it, but they know that getting the lead at 2-1, they will have all the momentum now in this finals.

They both need this win, and the Heat have the momentum. Based on their performance in the previous rounds, I believe they haven't lost a Game 3 or the first game on their home court. Following trends can be a good betting strategy to start with. So I support your decision, let's go with the Heat, the underdog throughout this series.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Fud or Its Reality? BTC is Down Again on: June 06, 2023, 02:39:05 PM
What happened in Binance recently, in my opinion, was definitely a manipulation. There have been several complaints and charges leveled at Binance in the past, and nothing has been done to tackle them. According to my observations, whenever there is bad news in the market, the price falls. Fundamentals can be used as a strong confluence on your technical analysis in most cases if you know how to analyze the market. So, whatever news I received about Binance, I believe it was designed to manipulate the price.

There has been a sudden dump, but it isn't very significant, so I believe it's just temporary. Those who sold off may have panicked because they are not accustomed to the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) in the crypto market. There is always negative news, and when it comes to lawsuits or anything that could tarnish the reputation of a particular exchange, we shouldn't immediately believe it. Binance and its CEO will surely fight for their rights and strive to win any case brought against them.

If we witness a dump, it's not a problem as we consider it an opportunity, as long as we maintain our belief that Binance is here to survive and thrive in the long run.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: June 06, 2023, 01:57:08 PM
The bear market is not over, today might be the worst day on record since this year, the price dropped more than 6 percent and the chance to fall according to many predictions is still possible, but let's not panic and wait a while, investors who have a view of big profits then take this as an opportunity to continue buying.

It doesn't look good; Bitcoin is now down to the $25k level after reaching $30k earlier this year. We were hopeful that it was a positive sign for the market to shift back into bullish mode. However, if this downtrend continues, it may cause panic again, and it's possible that we may not see a bull run this year. It's still too early to tell, though. I hope people won't overreact and panic in the current situation. We already know how volatile the market can be, with sudden pumps and dumps. It has become quite normal for those who fully understand how the market works.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: June 05, 2023, 07:20:34 PM
It all depends on the gambler involved in this kind of situation, making gambling as a source of income isn't bad at all as long as the gambler can always sought a means out for himself everytime
For people not to make gambling as a source of income is like a means of telling people how risky gambling is. I do tell people that they should not rely on gambling at all, that they should even be very careful about it. Not only gambling, but also trading. These two things are very risky, they can turn a rich person to a poor person in just few hours to days. People need to be careful.

Someone can decide to take just 5% of his weekly income to gamble weekly, that is not be. I do advice people not to use more than 5% of their weekly income to gamble weekly. But that do not stop me from saying that people should not make gambling as a source of income because I always think it is good for people to know that, which is actually the truth. Gambling should just be for fun and nothing else.

Indeed, gambling cannot be seen as a source of income, I know many friends who have told me that before playing in a casino, they told me that they see the casino as an ATM and that is a blunder, when they played Sometimes they won somehow and they told me, but I really didn't tell them anything, I just told them that I was happy but to be very careful, and after a while, at least 6 months later, I would see them again and they would tell me that They had left the casino because they lost a lot of money, that this is a vice, that they lent money and that they are still paying it off, the good thing is that they are working normally and paying their debts.

for sure, a lot of gamblers at one point went to the path of borrowing money as they wanted to fulfill their desires. and this is why gambling has bad connotation because of gamblers who are in deep debt but still trying to make a loan thinking that they can win and pay off their debts. however, very rare that it happens, the usual scenario is that they will incur more debts after debts.

Actually, it's not that very rare because we or I can still hear some news or some stories about a gambler who already buried himself from having a mountain of debts with almost no hopes to pay it all. Loans are counted as they also see that as an option to continue their desires and continue their activity with the hopes and goal of being lucky in a single night to get free from all the debts and problems. Honestly though, there's almost no difference at all between gambling addicts and drug addicts as they both are willing to have any means just to continue their desires including robbing someone worse it's their family.

Casimero is a WBO Global super bantamweight title holder now, I think he can force a mandatory fight with Inoue when Inoue successfully defeats Fulton. I'm not so sure about this but its possible. If no one else is just willing to fight Inoue why not Casimero.

It is possible but I think the no.1 contender has more chance for the mandatory title defense unless the boxing council will give authority for the champion to pick his opponent.

To Inoue however Casimero is a nobody. I guess its one reason he wouldn't respond to a call after all they couldn't just decide on their own.

As far as I know in their bantamweight day, they had an unfulfilled schedule fight.  It was canceled due to pandemic and was never been rescheduled again.  I also don't think that Inoue looks at Casimer as nobody because Casimero had proven himself by holding the WBO belt before it was stripped from him.  The belt was stripped not won by Butler against him.  It (belt strip) maybe cost by carelessness of Casimero but we cannot deny the fact that Casimero was a WBO bantamweight champion while Inoue is holding the other belt.

We all know that Inoue is a very gentleman boxer , he doesn't mess with anyone and he doesn't look for any type of problem either , I think that maybe for that reason they Respect him, as far as I'm concerned I see Inoue as a genius boxer, where he knows how to use every detail of his technique to apply it to a particular boxer knowing that his study is quite strong , then this is reflected in his victories, now, if Casimero considers that he thinks of him that way , well , I think not He has been very good at it , if he must have a Little desire to fight with him , but due to his track record he knows that he cannot be Trusted.

There really has to be done for fights to happen because its just not fun anymore to see top boxers ducks each other. They better make things happen or its the fans losing their respect to the boxers they look up.

Ryan Garcia and Tank Davis set an example already for them already. So if Casimero comes looking for fight pointing Inoue, a yes or no answer at least will shed the light and giving the organisations to decide.

As far as what I can see from Naoya Inoue, he is not the kind of boxer who ducks someone or somebody just to make a safety precautions so that his career will remain unscathed mainly in his position now where he is still in the process of building his legacy by taking belts in every division he steps into. Super bantamweight is his fourth division and sooner or later, he will be become a four division champion just like how he envisioned himself and he can even achieve a feat of being a back to back undisputed champion in two separate division.

As for John Riel Casimero, he should stay humble and active for now so that his rank will steadily go higher. Having said that, he needed to have at least one more fight before this year ends so that his name will be among the top dogs next year and will be able to take advantage of any opportunity.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: June 05, 2023, 05:47:58 PM
Well, the inflation in my country now is not extremely high but has already damaged the economy. The cost of living is increasing and does not seem to stop. Last week one of my friends lost his job after working in the same company for a decade. His life abruptly changed, putting him in a place where he could not support his family. If you were him, how would you survive this tough time ? As a friend, I am trying to help him as much as I can and meanwhile, I am planning to save more money to prepare for the unexpected challenges in my life. What about you ?
It will be a bad experience for your friend if he has no savings and suddenly loses his job. but to avoid such a situation, everyone should reduce unnecessary expenses and make savings. but considering the country's economic situation and inflation situation, it is not possible to improve even if only savings are done. so we have to invest in different types of business and increase investment in different potential assets. I think these ways should be adopted along with the job, it will be possible for us to live a happy life

I totally agree with you, just saving will not help us have a prosperous life because of inflation, prices increase yearly, and the currency depreciates, so saving has no effect anymore. Instead, we should invest and accumulate in deflationary assets like gold, real estate, or bitcoin. Only in this way can we deal with the fact that goods are increasing day by day due to inflation. But saving should take precedence over investment, I mean we should have a savings for life before thinking of investment because investment also has certain risks.
Risks exist in investment, if one takes the risk then an opportunity will be created. If some one is not willing to take any risk then he can save money through monthly savings. But inflation is rising, saving fiat money is one kind of loss. If a small portion of the income is invested in Bitcoin every month, it can bring a good amount of profit. But it will totally depend on what a person wants to do. Personally I am enthusiastic about investing in Bitcoin with my little amount of savings.

Investing and saving at the same time might be tough especially if you're in a difficult situation but that is very advisable as we don't know what will be the upcoming challenges that we will face in the future. For the friend of OP's situation, he surely have enough time to invest, diversify and save for whatever is in the future as he was in the job for more than 1 decade but unfortunately, he haven't gave any thought about it as he was blinded by the situation where he always met every ends need and forgot that any job is just a temporary one, so we need to have some opening to make an income on the sidelines.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: June 05, 2023, 05:22:14 PM

Although Bivol and his camp shows intentions already to make this fight with Beterbiev. However, Beterbiev will have to go and win against Smith first. The thoughts of this 2 Russians fighting for the unification came to fruition when Bivol and his camp are not satisfied with what Canelo is offering them for a rematch. For them at least a good 50/50 split will make sense since Bivol already beat Canelo in their first fight. But it seems Canelo still wanted to get the biggest split of the purse and the money in the table which for now Bivol and his team rejected.

I've read Canelo's announcement and its arrogant for him to give Bivol that kind of a deal he was dominated, if he wants to avenge his loss and prove that he can beat the guy he should have given Bivol a fair deal to make the fight happen, Canelo knows Bivol will not accept the offer so Canelo can justify why he doesn't want to fight Bivol.

Light heavyweight will never be Canelo's territory because it is ruled by two of the most powerful punchers in Bivol and Beterbiev, Canelo should not over-extend himself.

For starters, Canelo should know that he was the one who started the war even though he was not on Bivol's radar as they were in a separate weight class but Canelo tried to take advantage of the situation and thought that Bivol was not that hard to defeat as he only have a single belt in his possession, moreover, his success few years back against Kovalev made up his mind that LHW is not that much.

Now look at him, after starting a war, he is now on a disadvantageous side waiting for a chance that Bivol will accept his deal but it seems that the latter is not interested anymore as in the first place, there's nothing for Bivol to gain unless Canelo agrees to fight him at super-middle.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 05, 2023, 04:30:59 PM
I was glad to win my bet for the evening, which was the Miami Heat + 10.5. I was a bit surprised that the Heat actually won. It was clear they were trying some new things out on offense and it worked out for them to get them the win and even up the series as they head back to Miami. Definitely makes things more interesting.

Strus, who was scoreless in game 1, stepped up and scored 14 points in this game. It was his 3-point shooting in the 1st quarter that gave the Heat the energy they needed to win the game. Gabe Vincent was also exceptional, contributing 23 points. Maybe in the next game, Martin will wake up and have an MVP-worthy performance. Imagine if all three of them have decent performances.

In game 3, the Heat are slight favorites, and I think they'll be ahead in the series after game 3.

Let's see about that but I do think there is a good chance because they are now approaching towards Miami for the games 3 and 4.

I'm a Heat fan but I cannot just disregard the Nuggets for being exceptional and unpredictable in the playoffs too as they also had a good run before they arrived in the Finals, just like what the Heat did. I surely hope that the Heat can somehow duplicate the performance they did last night where they overcame the Nuggets, finally.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 04, 2023, 08:49:29 PM
Today is the only chance for Heat to keep their hopes up, if the series goes to 2-0 it's over mentally. They have to play extraordinary today. If they shoot bricks again behind the three then they have no chance. Martin, Robinson and Strus were unrecognizable in the first game. They can't rely on threes only. They should score from the paint and go to the free throw line more often. Heat gave up early in that game, they can't do that again. Nuggets rested well, now they are focused on winning the title and they know this is the most important game of the series. My money would be on Nuggets though.

Money towards the Nuggets is definitely a wise thing to do as in every angle we try to see, it is always the Nuggets who have the higher hand but considering that their ML is low, you need to have some handicap so that your profits are somehow higher compared to the money line. Besides, the Finals should be more fun and entertaining if both teams are competing fair with each other but I'm afraid that in this case, it will be too much too ask.

Regarding about that, I will try to bet during live games to enhance my chances and I'm certain enough that it would be the Nuggets who will take the win in the 2nd game. But we will see what will happen in the first quarter though.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 04, 2023, 03:40:17 PM
   -   I believe that gambling is not a steady income or can be said to be a source of income. This mentality is wrong for a gambler. Because the more that their gambling mindset is like this, for sure they will not be far from being addicted to it.

That's why we must maintain control over gambling, because once we lose it, we can become irresponsible gamblers in the end without realizing it. Which is why we should not let it get out of our habit as casino players here online.

Correct! And if this kind of mindset will continue, it will be a bad habit that will likely place you in a different situation, a situation where you wouldn't want to be in in the first place.

So before it will be too late to take a sharp turn, we should always equip this kind of mentality to ourselves whenever we are playing because there is really no positive way in viewing gambling as a source of income especially a steady one. Instead, we should only seek gambling as a form of entertainment.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 04, 2023, 02:45:51 PM
I speculate that there will be no deal for this unless Canelo gives Bivol the biggest money offer in Bivol's career.

I think that is a fair assessment. Canelo lost in their fight, and now he needs to redeem himself. Although Bivol wasn't as well-known at that time, defeating Canelo brought him recognition and he is currently enjoying his newfound popularity. As a result, Bivol has the leverage to negotiate with Canelo, who is eager for a rematch. I believe a 60/40 split in favor of Bivol would be reasonable. Hopefully, Canelo will not be overly greedy and agree to those terms, and if he can, he should strive to defeat Bivol.

However, with Bivol being Russian, maybe he cares only about his legacy and not about the money very much similar to Khabib hehe. If Canelo does not agree to fight Bivol in super middleweight then we will never see these 2 fighters in the same ring again.

I see. So that means that Dimitry Bivol have already laid out his terms for Canelo if the latter wanted to have a rematch, I guess Bivol wanted more from Canelo and not just a sole money fight because as you have said, the rematch should happen at Canelo's division and not within Bivol's.

Anyway, whether if their fight will be contested at 168 or 175, I seriously think Bivol still got the advantage. But that will be a hot question as of now because David's camp also got their own offer.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 02, 2023, 04:58:22 PM
Well, we all know that Messi does not want to continue at PSG, obviously PSG has a lot of power worldwide, a lot of money, any article that they can filter in the news to justify a possible PSG departure is possible (this is also mere speculation ) now if they say it as a measure to discredit the Argentine national soccer team a bit, it is something else, it is known that in Europe it hurts a lot that France has not won, things can go in that direction, although it is not something very nice, but It is quite possible, players like Messi, CR7 make enemies out of nowhere, just for playing well, sometimes it is to cause more shock or it can be mere envy.

Relationship between Messi and Paris Saint-Germain has been estranged ever since the latter took action over Messi's Saudi trip. PSG officials have also announced that Messi will not be a part of their club after end of this week. What we are not sure is where Messi is moving. There are rumors surrounding three different clubs - Al Hilal is obviously the first and then also Inter Miami and Barcelona. The offer from Al Hilal is reportedly worth some £522million per year, which is almost double the amount Al Nassr paid for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi had to choose Paris Saint-Germain for this season mostly because he wanted to get more money and in fact, Messi had to put money as the first priority. In Barcelona they all respect Messi and he was known as a famous player there but just after Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain he was not the only superstar there and he had many other famous players like Mbappe on the team.
Since Messi has chosen Paris Saint-Germain for money once he it was a wrong decision, I think this time he won't make the same mistake again.

Fact is, PSG is trying to release the first statement first so that it will be looked like that they have ended Messi's contract for good and will not pursue any extension after his issue for traveling in Saudi Arabia last year when in fact it was just a job-related travel as he is the tourism ambassador in Saudi but PSG are having other thoughts about Messi might had a meeting with Al Nassr FC.

Anyway, PSG is trying to save their face before Messi will release a statement about his next journey upon the expiration of his contract with PSG somewhere this month as that will indeed look like that Messi is not interested anymore in signing under PSG, which is true by the way.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 02, 2023, 04:34:48 PM
Lucky are those who took the -10.5. You just received the exact amount to win your bets so congratulations to you all.
In my case, I took the -8.5 Nuggets, so it's also a winner.

The Miami Heat is not playing well when it comes to offense, Caleb Martin seems to be off night and that broke his consistent double digits in points in the Celtics series. Maybe in Game 2, he will be different. Gabe Vincent and Haywood Highsmith are the only ones who I think are confident enough to do some damage against the Nuggets. Bam's stats, should be normal, that's his average during the season. Something big is missing, Jimmy Butler. He is the one who creates a lot of free throws for the team but today they only shot 2/2 at the stripe. That means no one is putting a body against the Nuggets when it comes to offense and that should be Butler.
They are not aggressive enough and the Nuggets took advantage of that. The Heat are actually lucky the three-pointers of the Nuggets are not sinking in or else it could've been a big blowout.

But that made the game thrilling as the Nuggets allowed the Heat to make a good run in the 4th quarter. It was indeed a comfortable win for those who bet on the Nuggets, as the line was -9 and easily covered. However, bettors who placed props bets on Caleb Martin may have lost their money, as they were expecting him to perform consistently. Unfortunately, in this game, we didn't see the same Hero who excelled in Game 7 of the ECF.

Even though the Denver Nuggets commits more turnovers, it never became a factor for the opposite team as an advantage because it is just evident that they are struggling towards them. Although we can say that the Heat are already expecting it and might done some observations while remaining to be competitive, their stats are just different compared to the home team and what more if the Nuggets poured more energy in the fourth quarter, maybe we have witnessed a much bigger gap in their scores.
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: June 01, 2023, 04:40:49 PM
When you're short on cash, it can be difficult to quit borrowing money.

Everyone has been there. We're short on cash and in a lot of debt, but a cover loan to get out of the red and even improve our readiness is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Blissful days? Sadly, no. It all comes down to the straightforward, yet frequently misunderstood, formula that says borrowing more money equals more debt. It is more difficult to return to black the more debt you accumulate.

The majority of us live beyond our means, which is one of the primary causes of our ever-increasing habit of borrowing money. Simply put, incomings are outpacing outgoings. It's also getting worse.

More than at any time in the past two decades, millions of Americans are spending more than they earn. Spending on credit cards, the most common type of personal debt, is estimated to be rising at a rate faster than at any other time in American history.

Borrowing is a matter of choice, that's why as you say when you are short on budget or expenses it is really difficult to get out of debt even though the interest will be high, others still agree because they have no choice.

So it's not surprising that there are also many lenders or lending owners who are actually getting rich. But even so, if there is a chance to get out of debt, please don't go into debt again because we know the hardships of the debtor, or if you do get into debt, don't run away or run away.

There's a saying, a mistake will never be corrected by committing another mistake.

Just like borrowing money, if the reason why you borrowed money is just to pay another debt of yours then that cycle will never be finished as you will always find yourself in the very same position in time when the debt is already nearing its due and where all interests are needed to be paid. Actually, having a debt is an unwanted option in the first place but sometimes we are in the edge where borrowing is the only option left to solve the problem.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 01, 2023, 02:16:12 PM
Yeah, Messi is a super star, of course.

He is a good player today, but definitely he was better ten years ago.

Aging is a fact of life, and there's nothing we can do about it. New players will come and take his place. He already did everything there is to do in football.

I need to disagree with you.
In the last World Cup, many already said the same thing.... Messi has already played a lot, he needs to retire, he's not the same anymore. The answer to that? The whole world has seen what he is still capable of.

Was Messi better 10 years ago? Certainly! However, in my opinion, he is far from leaving the field, even though he himself claimed to be the last... but I must remind you that this was the second time that Messi speaks of farewells with Argentina's shirt. In 2016, after losing the second Copa America final in two years, Messi announced that he was going to retire, but he didn't. I doubt it!

If Messi returns to the 2026 World Cup, he will play in his sixth World Cup, no other player has achieved this merit. Messi could still become the top scorer in the World Cup with 16 goals scored.

There is no ifs about Messi's likelihood to play in the upcoming World Cup because he is already looking forward to play with his team and defend their throne from the team's who wanted to take their place. Regardless of what the result is, that might be his last World Cup because age is definitely keeping up with him by that time.

The latest rumor about him is that he will not re-sign under PSG anymore and he is already vocal to it because he doesn't see himself playing in the same team in the next 2 years, which is very likely that he will go to Barcelona again until he retires.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: June 01, 2023, 12:27:58 PM
I believe bitcoin and banks are well renounced investment platforms but many people prefer bitcoin investment despite is very risky because of high demands and rising price interest and banks on the other hand saves millions of people finances all over the world yet their investment interest is very small but less risky than bitcoin. Which do you preferred your money to be save in as investment? Bitcoin or bank! What's your reason?

Putting your money in the bank is not a form of investment; that's called saving your money. On the other hand, Bitcoin is a pure investment since its value can rise over time. However, like any other investment, there's always a risk, and Bitcoin is considered a high-risk investment. Additionally, don't assume that saving your money in the bank is entirely safe. While they may have insurance and you can recover your money if something happens to the bank, you need to consider inflation. The more money you save in the bank, the more you will be affected by inflation.

Therefore, the right approach is to save less and invest more. In our case, it should be in crypto.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you support bitcoin as Global reserve currency? on: June 01, 2023, 11:43:38 AM
Being here in the crypto world is already proof that we support Bitcoin as a global currency. However, we live in a country with a government. So, even if we really want to make that happen, we still have to consider the regulations in our country. If Bitcoin is considered legal, then that's a good sign that we can accept it. However, Bitcoin transactions will have limitations. We cannot fully enjoy what it promises, such as anonymity, because although Bitcoin is decentralized, it cannot surpass the centralized world we live in. Once it becomes regulated, it will undermine decentralization. The only decentralized aspect that will remain is how the blockchain works.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: May 31, 2023, 06:44:41 PM
@aioc. Hehe agreed. Also make it 7 votes including me.

In any case, on Bivol vs. Beterbiev, it appears that it is Beterbiev who is avoiding a chance for a unification of all the championships in their division. Bivol wants a challenge. There were some articles that mentioned Bivol wants to go down to super middleweight to fight Canelo for all his titles. A challenge which was certainly evaded by the Mexican hehehehe.

What you said is quite debatable mate because I doubt that Beterbiev's supporters will just stay down and be quiet especially for this one because you did said that he was the one who was avoiding in making the unification fight happen. But I come in peace Grin just kidding.

That said, I'm both supporters of Bivol and Beterbiev, and I surely want to witness a unification fight between the both of them but unfortunately, that just cannot happen for now because the sanctioning bodies is not inclined in making it a reality because of Bivol's situation.

And that is also the reason why Callum Smith was selected to fight Artur Beterbiev in the meantime.

Hehe I am always first to admit if I am wrong. Thank you for this information. This has been rumored since 2022 when Bivol was chasing Beterbiev for a fight. However, everyone did not take the rumor much seriously and it was probably what started another rumor. Beterbiev is avoiding Bivol hehehehee.

In any case, it appears what prevents Bivol vs. Beterbiev is again politics. Similar to why much of the superfights are also not organized or takes too long to be organized.

You're always welcome mate, I'm happy to help! Wink

Now, the important thing is you already know what are the true reasons why the undisputed fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol is not happening and sadly, I'm almost convinced considering Beterbiev's current situation now that he might have to retire first before any of this unification fight against Bivol will happen as the Russian-Canadian boxer is already 38 years old which means he might have a couple of years ahead of him left before he starts to consider in hanging up his gloves.

And if that will happen, I hope Beterbiev can retire with a spotless record in his whole professional career in the boxing industry.
