1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What area of bitcoin participation is easiest to work with? on: August 31, 2020, 08:34:25 PM
Miners meet with all the phases in bitcoin cycle and it can be difficult to make profit as miners except at the bull market. We have more wealtheir investors in mining who does not sell like they used to do, to acquire as much as most whale and keep for great profit. All the aspect of bitcoin has bigger contributor that encourage a bigger hoarding.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin, ethereum etc. cryptocurrency or digital asset? on: August 30, 2020, 08:53:28 PM
I never thought the name or change of name could affect the adoption like the use and technology from cryptocurrency. I feel digital asset can convey cryptocurrencies and some other asset on blockchain, digital asset seems to be more than cryptocurreny IMO. I see a lot of development in the blockchain technology that give dynamic look to the technology and the use
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: August 29, 2020, 10:03:37 PM
It is very important to follow all projects of interest on every social media units and get a contact for inquiries. Any project which is responsible will provide a team member on all those fronts to attend to the community's challenge and questions. The reason for such support any time with suspected scam approach is to prevent falling victim to them. Most unnecessarily good offers in cryptocurrency are not reliable.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: August 28, 2020, 08:34:43 PM
Invest in any coin you trust the fundamentals, team and technology, If it is sure it will go up then the height of pump cant always be predicted in this volatile market/space. Most coin with smaller unit value are capable of making more profit than high value coin in this market. It is difficult for bitcoin to make 100x in this market, whereas many other coins will do much more.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Warren Buffett will change his mind about bitcoin? on: August 28, 2020, 08:27:47 PM
Buffett is not different from most rich men of his age, they dont understand the technology of this age and always get there late. THough gold is a very old investment that he oppose but he understand where to get the profit which I think it  is a lesson to be learnt in the market. Choosing a coin as its maximalist is not the best position for this market. Every investor in chainlink, ethereum etc would have made more money this year than claiming a maximalist. Cryptocurrency is likely to make the richest man in the world in few more years
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 27, 2020, 07:35:11 PM
Most hardfork of bitcoin is meant to add those things they consider limitations eg paying using bitcoin at supermarket but where are they today? Bitcash has design a lot of apps and avenue to attract trading with its coin has yet to thrive. , Bitcoin is sitting with the high asset class in world and it profit over the year rank him as the best. Bitcoin ATM is project a well if can afford it
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: August 27, 2020, 07:27:26 PM
I never trust this exchange from it started until rated as a scam, an trusted exchange will never do free marketing such as giving free token.
if you wonder why I said that, a trusted project/exchange they will crowdfunding to raise a cap with accessible information for users about its team.

It's not about giving free tokens, an exchange with team which are not trustworthy will always end in scam. This is the more reason why traders need to be careful with the exchange they use. There are some things I look out for in any exchange before I make deposit and trade, team credibility is number one, then trust level, how secure is it, trading volume etc.
Binance excel so well in the exchange because of his experience and management of fund. Most of the exchanges that came right before the bull market had fail with the large budget that the bear market cant handle. Same CEO of the exchange also have extravagant lifestyle than can run anyone out  business. Any exchange that will compete with binance must consider users first and prevent unattractive tariff or fee
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: August 26, 2020, 06:07:51 PM
There is a trend in this market that most newbies dont notice. Every traders with intention to make money does not take side, never fully in bitcoin or altcoins, go where the money is. It is time to lower yourself in bitcoin to multiply the same bitcoin. I only seek altcoin with bitcoin pair trade, invariably will result trading in fiat. Consequently more trade for btc/fiat increases, thats how new money flows into bitcoin and in the space, it will be seen with more value of stable coin.
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: August 26, 2020, 05:53:12 PM
Not everyone can do daytrade, not everyone have the time either, it also depend on your size of bag and the exchanges listing the coin. Some big bags cant just sell on some exchanges, so they have to hold and ladder out of the coin. The profitable strategy most times is Hodl, hand it over at OTC with average price for sale, usually this takes time because of the volatility of the space. Trading bitcoin can only give good profit by Hodling unlike the small cap coins
1010  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yet another SCAM by the shady BITTREX Exchange! on: August 25, 2020, 09:44:45 PM
bittrex has always be a scam exchange. it has all the big scam coins. the owner of bittrex is a 2bit criminal. just warn folks to avoid bittrex poloniex paxful et al. they are all just thieves dens
If you have any issue with Bittrex and Poloniex address it but calling names and alleging such criminal label is not good. Have been this 2 exchanges for over 3 years and have no issue with, though the exchanges might struggling with some internal problems it does not affect the users of their exchange. Bittre and Poloniex are exchanges that barely list coins and do a lot of research on their coin, they are the only exchange they stop an IEO late on their exchange because of scam discovery
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Sold at $12,000 After 2 Years HODLing on: August 25, 2020, 09:43:50 PM
There was no information of how much he sold. I have concern on those monitoring all this whales account what benefit does it bring. Taking few profit from this investment can be for a reason. I can attempt buying into other coin but I dont think this dropped that price of bitcoin. The market is more active than at the beginning of the year and accumulation of bitcoin still continues. I believe every whales at this market have expectation in terms of price and nobody knows the time of the peak of bull run and the time of the bull run, so a little profit taking is allowed.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: August 24, 2020, 09:33:18 PM
well, maybe that can be happen if the bitcoin price go to the moon and touch more than $50k in the end of year 2020.
but if we see now it's too hard for bitcoin can touch new ATH at this year
Believe me, my friend, this is very difficult, yes it may be the price of ETH but this year I can say for sure that it will not happen.
Even if the price of a bitcoin reaches an all-time high, it is by no means possible to get the price of eth $10K.
The difference in the price this time is the $80 bottom value of Ethereum in this market compare to the 0.3 ico price of ethereum in the last bull market. If ethereum can hit $1000 this year we might be able to compare the run to the 2017 run of bitcoin. I believe $1000 at the beginning of 2021, ethereum could hit $10k and more. we expect a multi trillion dollar market in the next bull and will be easy for the top coin in the space especially ethereum
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 23, 2020, 02:12:09 PM
We dont have to call people into crypto when the sentiment is right. The profit traders receive, price pump and lambo purchase in town will attract somany people into the space but when things like this start happening, the bull run is either near or gone. So its better to only tell those who believe in you and can risk little fund at the moment
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: August 23, 2020, 02:08:25 PM
I dont consider upcoming anymore, a project that has already complete the fundraise, grown the communty, top search on coingecko, most discussed on twitter, with 75x value from crowdfund, listed on more than top 4 exchanges in a month. The team is very active in marketing the project and the project is older than 2 years before the crowdfund.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 22, 2020, 09:33:08 PM
I am having problems accessing old ETH address created with Ledger Nano S and MEW a few years ago. I assume it is because of an exotic derivation path I used back then. Is there any way (or tool) to determine the derivation path from a provided ETH address?

Unfortunately, the problem still exists. Is there anyone here who can answer that question for me? Is it possible to deduce from a given Ethereum address which Derivation Path it was created with? Thanks a lot!

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's possible to determine a derivation path based on a given ETH address alone.
There is nothing encoded in the public key to indicate how it was generated or whether the derivation path was used at all.

I saw a news that stated 80% decline in transaction fee today, It is also shown in the coingecko to have reduce to 64 gwei, although I try to avoid transaction in Ethereum since the rise of the transaction. I still dont understand the reason for rise in transaction fee when the price of ethereum increases, consequently it affects all transaction of coin on electreum blockchain
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: August 21, 2020, 05:27:56 PM
I will consider the opinion of old and higher rank member on the topic, someone who had spent 4-5 years of his life trading. I am sure it is not easy trading in the bear market and that does not push the need and responsibility away but the profit in the bear market is generally low that some people leave few months after bull market to buy from the dip. Thats what birth so many reasons to be long term trader, buy in bear and sell in bull market. Profit from the bull are saved for 4-10 years, build more businesses around it with huge capital make daily or monthly income
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can he surpass YFI to reach $30000 per coin on: August 21, 2020, 05:10:12 PM
Only 5000 in supply, that is relatively small and going by history of coins with short or small supply their price usually tends to grow  a lot more, and if the coin has a reason for demand then it is game on, it could probably go higher but maybe not as much as your friend predicted.
Sometime token supply may not be important with such a high price, it is the most expensive coin in the market now, sadly have seen most coin  with higher price go down against bitcoin in the longrun. As DEFI project listed on Binance and few more exchange, it is still has the capacity to keep pumping higher
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which site do you use to get fresh updates on different projects event on: August 20, 2020, 07:41:42 PM
I dont think it is smart to make decision on most of the site posted here, most of them are bias and influenced. You should start your research from the project website, social media and other handle. It is also important to look for the right information and find out how to get the true information. Scammers are better at there game and some project may not deliver in short term but every trader must know the important fundamentals to work with any project.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: August 19, 2020, 05:46:03 AM
I believe in the capacity of Ethereum to break previous ATH in coming months and I dont think it can be displaced or replaced as the 2nd in the marketcap. Some development in the project points to that direction and we can check the body language of bitcoin maximalist at the moment, I suspect a silent buying and hoarding from their side as well, so we should not rely too much on their advice cause everyone at the moment is in the business of making money.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Chainlink destined for New Highs in 2020? on: August 19, 2020, 05:39:43 AM
I am just surprised how I got so careless to miss the sight of such a great coin. It is the most successful DEFI with the largest hardcap now in the market and I see new whales also arriving as some are leaving which might see sequence of price pump and development in this era. I always feel any billion cap project can control the project to better direction if they can manage their fund very especially when the project does not have full release of circulating supply.
