10041  Other / Meta / Re: Is it Legal to sell antivirus software activation codes/CDKEYs here? on: November 06, 2016, 11:01:45 AM
Something likes Norton Antivirus, kaspersky, ESET NOD32, McAfee Internet Security, etc....
Should be fine as long as we are not talking about cracked/stolen licenses. Hopefully this answers your question.
10042  Other / Meta / Re: Is it Legal to sell antivirus software activation codes/CDKEYs here? on: November 06, 2016, 10:35:39 AM
This is to be decided on a case-by-case basis. AFAIK in most cases, selling codes of such type only breaks the T&Cs of the service and is not illegal. The forum only disallows the sale of illegal items and does not enforce the T&Cs of other services. Note: Do not sell codes to any kind of potentially malicious software.

What Antivirus software are we talking about? It should be legal.

Ah ok, sorry.  To bring you up to speed: Fatanut is on what I loosely describe as a "watch list" - Viyamore said Fatanut was an Alt,
The username sounded familiar at first, but I didn't look into their posting history until just now. Even if Fatanut were an alt, I still would not paint them red. If you take a closer look, they are often constructive and very helpful (e.g. signature overview thread). I would potentially paint them red if there was proof that they were behind an army of accounts (e.g. linked to or behind all of these). Viyamore admitted ownership of ajrah, but not the others via PM.

Generally, I'm not against having an alt account or two. However, if a person has e.g. two accounts and is using both to generate signature earnings by posting half-baked nonsense then I find this very shady. Anyone that breaks the 'no alt' rule in some campaign should definitely be tagged red and blacklisted from all campaigns permanently IMO.
10044  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Overview] The one thread to link them all on: November 06, 2016, 10:11:33 AM
From what I read from Lauda, the General threads are to replace this one.
No, not exactly. They were supposed to put a stop to the redundant questions that keep being asked and abused by signature spammers even though the answers already exist. Regarding this thread, I was planning on doing a *update* to it and posting it myself as self-moderated (not necessarily stickied). However, if you are able to find the time to update this one, then there's likely no need (even though I'd still suggest a *restart* with self-moderated thread).

10046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Non-self mod topic]Bitmixer.io Signature Campaign | Earn up to 0.035 BTC/week on: November 06, 2016, 09:58:24 AM
Okay this is going to be surely interesting, whoever is behind this account. I already expect a lot of *spam* from both ex-participants, and participants from other campaigns due to lack of moderation. Time to get some snacks.

Update: For the record, I have not moved this thread. It was reported, and I let another moderator handle it (I do not know who it was).
10047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is SegWit! and what are its effect on transactions. on: November 06, 2016, 09:26:59 AM
Not false. My last transaction took 4 hours,
You aren't using Bitcoin properly, i.e. your fee is too low. The highest time that an experienced user can reach is ~1 hour (due to the block generation function).

but even 10 minuts is to long when you are in a store to pay.
That's likely not going to change. Besides, the store could accept zero-confirmation transactions for smaller amounts of $. They will probably have a video recording of you doing the purchase anyways, so attempting to double spend would be unwise (hence the risk is *almost* mitigated indirectly).

Prove it to me .Zooplus ,quintiilieo, hatuferu and Fatanut. I owned this accounts 5-6 months ago then sold that time. Believe me or not then its up to you ..
Which is shady behavior in its own regard.

Investigate i don't wanna show anymore any proof ,Because i think Private Messages now is A Public Message .please respect others if you dont respect yourself..
As a *wise* escrow scammer used to say, you should not expect private messages to remain private unless they're encrypted via PGP.

I Advice TimeLord go to Junk Shop and Learn some Good Values there ..you can make this investigations in the right way and in a proper investigation NOT LIKE THIS .IDIOT .. Hahahahah . Smiley
Be a good boy in school .
Attacking someone will make this only worse for you.

Tagged all besides Fatanut & watching in case of new (pro or contra) evidence. Check your post, some weird formatting puts Fatanut's link to the very right (I almost missed it the first time).

Nice one! I need to get back on my printer, totally neglected it.

The Ethereum Capsule looks intriguing, it has a ETH wallet QR code inside it?
I'd like to buy one ETH capsule too.
Looks awesome!
Actually, I've suggested that particular design to digicoinuser the day that someone linked it in the coin-collectors chatroom [1]. It looks amazing, and it would likely be even better in the original color (IMO). This capsule is probably a Bitcoin variant IIRC, but you could probably add any kind of QR code if you've wanted to. I guess with more interest, the average price could be lower @digicoinuser?

10052  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUD] Why is my Trust rating abused by Kluge, VOD & smoothie ? on: November 06, 2016, 08:20:10 AM
Have you tried talking to them directly? Quite some time has passed since you received some of these ratings. If there was ever any chance of getting some of them removed, I'd start with handling "Trust abuse" as two negative ratings on your are regarding this.

So he leaves me a neg saying "Trust Abuse" with no ref link or explanation at all.
Why ?
What in the fuck did i do ? NOTHING.
I guess Kluge left you a negative rating due to the negative rating that you left on their profile (1 more after). This is my best guess judging by the dates of trust ratings. So you did do something.

hmmm theymos publicly said Monero was the best Altcoin ?
starting to make sense now huh ?  Cheesy
Absurd assumptions such as this one would likely get you more trouble if anything.
10053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FACT CHECK: Bitcoin Blockchain will be 700GB in 4 Years on: November 06, 2016, 08:00:33 AM
if ""core" want to pretend its the "core" program for bitcoin. then core should stick to full node status.
if core want to offer light node. then core should be VERY CLEAR that pruning reduces status a node has in the network.

seriously stop shoe shining the devs..

you say core have not said X. but they are clearly not saying Y either. so X needs to be clarified to make people aware of Y
This post is useless and is not relevant at all to anything that has been said here. Just let the franky1 from the other shift do the talking, you're only ruining your own image.

Once again, there is nothing wrong with a pruned node and it has been clearly stated that it is different from a full node.
10054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FACT CHECK: Bitcoin Blockchain will be 700GB in 4 Years on: November 06, 2016, 07:11:30 AM
The problem with pruned mode is... you need to download the entire blockchain the first time in order to enable it, so the problem persists... will we be able to enable pruned mode without having to download all of the blockchain?
That's related to bandwidth then, not storage. I don't see how this is a problem though, as you're usually presented with two choices:
1) Run a full client and do full validation.
2) Run a SPV wallet without full validation.

The total blockchain size will keep getting higher which will keep making 1 harder.

the only problem with pruned mode is once you have pruned it.. you are then not part of the 5500 full nodes able to help the network.
Nobody claimed that they were, ergo strawman.

if people dont want to hold all the data.. then just download electrum. stop messing with full nodes!
There's nothing wrong with a pruned node.

10056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What is SegWit! and what are its effect on transactions. on: November 06, 2016, 07:00:54 AM
Bitcoin is still as hopeless as payment when it takes up to several hours to get the payment confirmed.
False. Transaction time is almost instant, and confirmation time is 10 minutes on average.

At this point we don't know if SegWit will be even activated. Bitcoin Core was upgraded with SegWit's code but it doesn't mean the upgrade is automatically live.
The question was not whether Segwit will active or not, was it?

for example ViaBTC supports Bitcoin Unlimited instead.
If the owner wants to act like a fool, let them be.

Congratulations of opening up your own service/sale of various custom good. I'll be keeping a close eye on this, hence the post. Good luck with your endeavor.
10058  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] | Bitmixer.io Signature Campaign | Earn up to 0.035 BTC/week on: November 06, 2016, 06:54:36 AM
Seconded.
He's a genuine guy. He was posting in the same manner even without wearing any sig. Pretty sure he's not "only here to earn some btc" type of poster
I've handled this already, i.e. removed him from the blacklist.

Claiming from the same signature campaign:

Accounts connected: ajrah u=458219, Viyamore u=670726, Zooplus u=671046, Hatuferu u=676080, quintiilieo u=715575, SilverPunk u=734504, --YUki-- u=822564
Ajrah is currently banned, and hatuferu got banned in the last round of bans. I have put all of these in the permanent blacklist with your reference. Thank you.
10059  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] BITCOIN.COM GAMES/NEWS - Signature Campaign on: November 05, 2016, 10:31:46 PM
i wan't to join in this signature
You could have at least read the OP before applying:

Participants should have a positive trust rating as seen using the default trust network, and should have multiple positive trusted feedbacks.  Sr. Members or above only.

Update: Fair point I guess.
10060  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting posts - Marketplace Rules on: November 05, 2016, 06:49:29 PM
It's not that hard as the membership on Netflix is expensive so anything less then 5$ should be considered as a cracked.
So, if I for any reason wanted to sell my account with 1 month subscription remaining for less than $5 that would be considered cracked? Note: This is just a hypothetical scenario to show why picking a limit is harder than it seems.

It's how Sentry MBA (the software used to crack) export the lists of valid accounts and the easiest way to spot them is also when they "account will last for x months guaranteed" or "you shouldn't change the password and email" .
Yes, this is likely a 99% positive indicator that the accounts have been cracked. I would not mind doing something about this, but ultimately it is up to theymos.
