How do I test my Seed Key/Code to make sure it is working before I begin using and Transferring Money to the Electrum Wallet.
You can restore the wallet from the seed and compare the addresses. On Electrum: File -> New/Restore -> Write a random wallet name -> Standard wallet -> I already have a seed -> Enter the seed. Then, compare the addresses from your wallet with this one you just restored. |

I was browsing cold wallets, recently tried Mycelium unsuccessful but then I came across Bither.
When i first opened the wallet I swear i saw a button under advanced settings that said switch mode to cold wallet or something.. but now I can't find it... I tried reinstalling, and everthing, still no success... anyone know if this is a bug with Bither or something I do wrong??
IIRC, this only shows up if you open Bither while offline (not connected to any network/4G). Try putting your phone on airplane mode and opening it again. I think the point is to use one phone as a cold wallet and another as a hot wallet. In the hot wallet, you create the tx and in the cold one (always offline), you sign the transactions. |

Yeah get that, im talking about quoted msg from posi. and i try to open then link profided. i just though since no capthca there i can login, turn out its show as invalid code when im using my username and password.
If the code "xxxxxxxxxxxxxccxcxxxx" in his example was someone's bypass-captcha code, you would be able to log in with (and only) that account w/o a captcha. |

well, look like everyone can login without captcha then. i try to open this at incognito and i dont see any captcha.
They can...? What's the issue? The first time you log in with the captcha, grab your bypass captcha code and can use that link to log in (to your account) anywhere without having to fill the captcha ever again. This only works if you're logging with your account's bypass-captcha code. |

But... the thing with ChipMixer is that you can actually see if it works as intended.  If you deposit 1.024 BTC at 06/01, you will get a 1.024 BTC Chip which was funded before that date (e.g 05/30). While other mixers just promise that you will get clean coins (which may even be the same as you deposited! - which is impossible to happen with ChipMixer). |

I tried and got this error: User 'blender' has not chosen to allow messages from newbies. You should post in their relevant thread to remind them to enable this setting.If he isn't checking this thread, I would appreciate someone capable drawing his attention back here admin or moderator can help somehow that we get in touch with blender ? we had there customers funds on accounts !
I'm not sure if they would put the website back again a third time. But I'll PM him again in case he still hasn't wiped everything he had on BitBlender. |

May I ask why? You probably got banned for plagiarism. Maybe it was for a post from years ago and you "don't remember", but it's most likely there. What is going to change?
Many people get banned, ask what happened (most are just acting innocent), and when someone quotes what they did, they say "Ok" and leave. It's usually pretty much just a waste of time.

I checked the stay logged in option during login to avoid re-logging in and completing captcha everytime
is there also a security risk having my account always stay logged in? I think it's been over a year+
If someone manages to log in to your wallet, they will be able to stay logged in forever (until you log in with a specific expire time, which will log out everyone). Also, if someone gets your browser cookies, they can spoof your session and stay logged. That’s all I’ve noticed. |

Without a comprised database, wouldn't the forum firewall limit you to one attempt per second on average?
Maybe... but in that case, wouldn’t you be able to use multiples IPs to make multiple consecutive tries. |

As they could before the code was created. The code does not decrease security in any way.
But there is a captcha on every attempt. Imagine bruteforcing an password and having to fill Google’s reCAPTCHA every single time. Impossible. If someone finds your code, they can try thousands of combinations in seconds. |

He stayed up for 48 hours after announcing he was shutting down. And after that, opened for a few more hours to give people a second chance to withdraw.
I’m not trying to defend him, but if he got scared by BestMixer’s shutdown and wants to clean house ASAP, he won’t waste any time to wipe everything that can link him to the mixer. People shouldn’t be using them as a wallet anyways (simple fact). And the whole process can be done in a day (send, mix, withdrawal). So, why should he spend a whole week or month waiting for people when as far as he know the police may come busting his door at any moment?
I don’t think 2 days was enough either (it should be, but people are stubborn). But I understand why they would do that, and I really don’t think they are doing that on purpose to “exit scam” with the paranoid card.

Also, where did you get this (supposedly) seed? Didn’t you write down 12 words when creating the wallet?

How can you tell if the next new mixer isn't created by the same person/team if he starts over completely with no resemblance to the old mixer, you can't really tell, can you? new bct username, new hosting, new domain, different mix technique, etc to show no connection we, people, humans, tend to be greedy by nature  we want more than what we already have If he was greed, he would keep going under BitMixer’s name. It was probably the most trusted and most famous mixer in the market. He spent millions in advertisement, which made him only start profiting in after several years of operation. Who spends millions and years to get big, just to close up and start operating under a different name? That doesn’t make any sense. |

I am dubious in terms of this. Why they are so rushed? whether they know something they did not tell us?
Only a few hours to withdraw are not enough for many users.
One of their competitors just got shutdown by several government agencies... that’s no joke. |

EVERYONE ELSE, do NOT ever store any coins on blenders/mixers, large volume atleast. Its not their fault that they have to close the mixer on urgent basis, its just the nature of this business. I learnt my lesson. I hope you all do not have to go through it!!

I’m sure that you will never forget to keep your coins somewhere where you always have access to it . Exchanges and mixers are send, trade/mix and withdrawal immediately.
