10041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 07, 2016, 08:36:29 AM
Bitcoin is just a currency and it can be use for shopping and some people use it as investment so we can says that bitcoin helping the poor country and people buy bitcoin with low price and then wait for higher price and when price go up then they sell it with high price .
unfortunately people in third world country don't have money to buy such thing, even they can't afford for a PC if they was really poor,$700 for a bitcoin just too high for people in 3rd world country, even though they can buy lower amount than a bitcoin but they will only get a small profit

Yes for third world country people like me, 700$ is a huge amount in my local currency. Hence collecting bitcoin does add up as a significant side/part-time earning for me. Even if I sell my coins I am at huge profit according to my local currency. Hence for me it is profitable. However in many countries the basic amenities of life are more available in exchange of fiat and bitcoin has never been heard of there.
10042  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Vote the FaucetBox Alternatives on: November 07, 2016, 08:32:15 AM
I am really sad to see faucetbox closing down.

However I dont think we need to look for much alternatives because our old and trusted friend mexicantarget has come up with a new idea : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1672870.0

Other than that I guess Paytoshi is good, ePay asks for signup which I do not like again and I have no experience with open-source projects.
10043  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - Micropayment system. FaucetBox alternative. on: November 07, 2016, 08:29:37 AM
Well its definitely sad to see faucetbox closing down. I hope you will be able to sustain it like all your other faucets as well. In the meantime people can easily migrate to it. Definitely hoping to see this site up and running soon enough so all faucet hunters can keep collecting without worrying about the micro-payment cache Grin
10044  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitBox - FREE BITCOINS EVERY DAY! + Free Games + Lottery + 50% ref + Bonuses on: November 07, 2016, 08:22:31 AM
We added new design to our site. Enjoy!

https://freebitbox.com/news/31/

New design is pretty cool. Loads up instantly on my phone and I can claim very easily there as well as on PC. Thanks to admin for implementing this feature and I hope more will be coming soon. Even in this era when bitcoin faucets are turning scam as the price of bitcoin rises, its good to see some faucets still operating like before and paying well.
10045  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: November 07, 2016, 08:19:47 AM
I won $20 (0.02819562 BTC) today @ FreeBitco.in

I made a screen capture, but don't know how to insert it here.

Congrats on your win. Keep claiming and I hope you win the 200$ win one day like I did. This will come as a good rebuttal to the people who keep on claiming that freebitco.in is a scam and that the site is rigged.

Long live freebitco.in!!
10046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: November 06, 2016, 05:08:28 PM
The fact that new coins are popping up everyday is a thing to worry about. Many of them are just pump and dump schemes and they are actually running to scam people. This has lead to people thinking that bitcoin and other altcoins are actually ponzi schemes and are running just to scam people in the long run.

Hence bitcoin without altcoin would have been better in my opinion.
10047  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the Founder of Bitcoin?! on: November 06, 2016, 05:06:03 PM
No one know that who is the founder of bitcoin and i also search in everywhere that who is the founder of bitcoin but i never find that the founder of bitcoin so i think its very difficult to find the founder of bitcoin.

In fact it is useless to try to locate or research on the founder of the coin. Whoever/whichever organisation created the blockchain technology was a genius - no doubt about that. but revealing their true identity in public would be life-threatening for themselves and all sorts of government mal-accusations would start against them. In this context I believe that what Satoshi did was correct - remain anonymous till their death.
10048  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 06, 2016, 05:01:32 PM
I think bitcoin is about universality and an age factor is of course present but however not a significant factor. Anyone can get used to its easy transactions and methods of sending to another user. However since it is more popular in the technically advanced people and in some cases few poor countries, I believe the average age lies between 16 to 40 according to me.
10049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 06, 2016, 10:00:51 AM
The simple fact that people are greedy and that they need easy money is the reason why people are addicted to gambling. We are all lazy people who want to become millionaires but are never ready to work for it. Moreover the gambling sites itself have very enticing advertisement campaigns that make people addicts as well.

It doesn't necessarily mean that we are lazy, but why wouldn't we just follow easy ways to get easy money? We're all humans and we know we need to work hard to get something in life, but if there's an easy way to do that everyone will go for it.

There is no easy way of getting money. Period - other than scamming someone Grin Grin

In all other cases you need to work hard and earn. All easy methods to earn money have some way or the other to extract money from you and other methods to keep you addicted to it. Gambling is one such thing which is a sure loss if they keep betting - even if they know it they still gamble - they wont work to earn rather dream of big and gamble until they lose all.
10050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who next do you think gonna run away with people BTC on: November 06, 2016, 09:57:05 AM
I think the next will be Recyclix. They say to be recycling garbage in Polony.

That ponzi scheme is becoming very big, and it will explode anytime. Because if many people join that scheme, they need a lot more people to continue with the site working and at any time now it will crash and many people will lose their money as usual...

Not heard of that site but those site running with Double your money, doubler, trippler etc will not gonna last. Also those with daily percentage return of your money. Be careful always with this scam alert tag line.

Well there have been several multiplier schemes in bitcoin and many more in real life as well who run away with their people's money and are never heard of again. I suggest forum users to steer clear of such scamming attempts because there will always be some newbie trying to run advertisements in the forum luring them into investing money there.

Such things are in rampant popularity in the bitcoin community and only deprives the name of the coin as a whole.
10051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: November 06, 2016, 09:54:32 AM
I think Primedice should stop organizing such giveaways since it only attracts more beggars and spammers. I think the site needs more work and the team should focus on that and not waste time on such giveaways. Primedice is still the most trusted and reputable bitcoin casino in the internet as far as I know and they should work on remaining at the number one position more than set up giveaways like these.

But thats just my opinion. Smiley
10052  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 06, 2016, 09:48:27 AM
Well, after 3 weeks in major casinos, I have made peanuts, I mean really peanuts, we re talking about cents. My investments re not whale size, they re mid size. However, this is not something I can recommend as being some small side income, the results do not support it. I m sure they ve been months when profits ve been above average but ATM I get nothing or next to nothing.
Being invested the last month into crypto-games.net would have given you a 3.31% profit (or 0.03311BTC on a 1BTC investment).
Being invested the month before that into the same site would have given you a 7.71% profit (or 0.0771BTC on a 1BTC investment).
Going back one more month, same site, you'd have made a 11.66% profit (or 0.1165BTC profit on a 1BTC investment).
Yet another month before, you would have seen 4.13% profit (or 0.04129BTC profit on a 1BTC investment).

Overall, if you would have invested into crypto-games.net 4 months ago (1BTC base investment size), and taken out your profit each month, leaving in the base,
you would have made a profit of 0.268BTC or 26.8% of your base investment size.

I agree to this that Crypto-games investment scheme is worth it. Since I am holding the coins for now, it can be worth to get some side earnings from it. Hence I have invested some coins there as well. I have a lot of patience enough to invest it there for even year since my main income is not bitcoin and I can lead a happy life with my fiat earning. Overall I think investing in BTC casino bankroll is profitable in the long run and not meant for people who panic in the short term losses.
10053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 06, 2016, 09:42:23 AM
No such thing.
The word "safe" does not seem to get along with the word "gambling".
There's no such thing as safe in gambling. Whatever method you use, even if you cheat, that's not safe.

You got it right, so if someone thinks that he is able to gamble safely then he must already forget about it as gambling is all about risk and chance.

And I don't think cheating is the answer to gamble safely, because that will just abuse the gambling site that you are going to cheat.

Instead of helping yourself to grow up, you are just like stealing their fund easily and makes their industry to go down.

There is no safe method - that is why gambling is known as a risky game. You cant hope to make loads of profits by using any "safe strategy" they are bound to lose in the long run. Hence the only advice I give is to cash out while still on a green streak and dont keep on betting but call it a day once you get a big win.

10055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 05, 2016, 08:11:37 AM
It seems the situation has started slowly changing. My casino investment have gone into green and now I have some very mild profits. Let see if this is going to last.

As long as the casino wins some bets, you will receive your fair share. In the short term you may incur some losses but in the long term the casino will be making a profit and so will your share of the bankroll.

Dont panic when some high-roller arrives to bet. They will lose sooner or later and you will receive the profit.
10056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 05, 2016, 08:08:07 AM
How can anyone even discuss to allow children to play gambling games. Gambling, even for many adults is too dangerous .. It is just absurd!

Well there are a lot of bitcoin users here who are addicted gamblers and hence the thread exists. Even some of them are under18 and they can still gamble because their identity is anonymous in the internet and that their parents are not supervising their internet activity.
10057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: November 05, 2016, 08:05:38 AM
If you already win, don't play more or you will just end up losing. Control yourself from both winning and losing. Don't be greedy if you are winning. And control youself from betting more if your lossing. Also set a target profit everytime you play. A profit which is possible to obtain. That will help you to get greedy.

Indeed this is good advice it is good to stop when someone is on winning streak but it is very hard decision, if we learn how to control our emotions to play on online gambling site than it is really good for a person, because greedy person has no life in gambling.
The problem is that when we win and then stop gambling, in our stomach we will always feel like we did a mistake because we left something that was giving profits. If we just find a way to control this then surely we all can gamble, win some and stop forever Tongue

This happens with every gambler and hence one must control their emotions while playing. If you get a big win, stop immediately and cash out your winnings. Otherwise you may get enticed to gamble your winnings and will end up losing more than you win.
10058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who next do you think gonna run away with people BTC on: November 04, 2016, 02:35:26 PM
Most of the case I saw, there have been a lot of fraudulent ICOs which have run away with people's money. However the could-mining sites which are actually ponzi schemes have looted millions from the poor people as well. I would suggest people to stay on guard before investing in any of such places.
10059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: November 04, 2016, 02:32:53 PM
If you consider using Martingale or any other method to win at gambling then you should make sure not to continue on that in the long run. Because it will work for sometime and then will end up is loss. This is because the math is based on the assumption that bankroll being infinite, which is rarely true in real life gambling.
10060  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 04, 2016, 02:31:04 PM
first of all stores, and merchants in general would love it if price is stable, and also people who want to use bitcoin as currency would love it if they could be sure that $1 worth of bitcoin would be the same in a couple of months and doesn't go down.

second of all traders won't like it but they won't leave the market either. just the same way they have been trading USD, EUR, .... and so many other fiat currencies that have the same value (nearly stable price).

The price of bitcoin will always move just by the simple supply and demand law. It's actually a good thing for everyone. They can earn by just holding their coins. Everyone can be a trader, even the store owners can do it. So maybe instead of thinking that the price of bitcoin should be stable, earn by playing with the price of it.

To those people who wants to have a 1$ worth of bitcoin and still want it to be 1$ worth of bitcoin tomorrow, I suggest that they continue using fiat. It will never happen in bitcoins.
Fiat is money while bitcoin is investment at least for now. The risk is on investment but only in investment where we have a chance to grow our money. So when the price will be stable, we will no longer earn if we will not invest today.

I think bitcoin price will continue to grow big everyday. Hence buying bitcoins and holding them/trading on them is a good investment. Stable price would attract more merchants to accept it but the traders would stop using it.
