10061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: February 13, 2017, 12:57:47 AM
How did Anderson Silva win that fight? There is no way he did. Sometimes I think the UFC gives more favor to the more marketable fighter. The UFC is first a business and a giver of entertainment second. As a player in the entertainment business of course they want to have the fighters that the people want to watch. The new owners are from the world of show business always remember that.
10062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ChronoBank vs. Qtum, which you choose? on: February 12, 2017, 01:16:18 AM
The 2 platforms cannot be compared. QTUM is the clear winner here for me. The future of the cryptosphere is all about smart contracts. That is where all the excitment is. Now that Ethereum is showing signs that it will not be the platform to bring us smart contracts investors will look for something else. The same people who were behind Ethereum are now behind QTUM. Do you want to invest in cryptocoin with a chance to reach a 1 billion dollar market cap? Invest in QTUM.
10063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 12, 2017, 01:10:53 AM
@ArdiPrabowo. I will take that answer as McClaren is now a sinking ship. Poor Fernando he still can win a championship if he was in a better team. I now wish he was given the Mercedes seat instead of Valterri Bottas. That would make this year's season more interesting at least. We would not want another boring one like last year.
10064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: February 12, 2017, 12:56:29 AM
germaine will dominate. thank me later

You sure? I was thinking of going with Holly Holm because of her performance vs Ronda Rousey which is basically the last match I have seen of her but she left a lasting impression on me so I am backing her up tonight for fun. And apparently she is the underdog so the odds are even higher on her and that's an extra bonus. I won't be upset if she loses though that's gambling  Wink

Why are you asking if he is sure when you last watched a Holly fight it was over one year ago. He might know better than you and with your post it shows you do not know any better.

Everything Ronda in the octagon was hyped by the UFC to promote women's MMA. In her fights before Holly, Ronda's weaknesses were not exposed. Holly exposed them all as showed in that fight.
10065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support Spoetnik's contributions to the Altcoin Discussions? on: February 12, 2017, 12:42:42 AM
@bbc.reporter
I have explained a LOT.
So have others..

The problem is the scene itself.

And especially this forum and how it has played out.
It can be gamed and the Monero guys know it.

It boils down to posting a lie here enough that it turns into the truth here.
..for profit.

Take for example Quark.. people wanted to attack it and some guys started spreading rumors it was premined.
It was not.
But that ended up becoming the commonly held belief because it was repeated enough here.
(forum posting tactics)

Monero ?
The people behind it are bullshitters and have a track record of doing things they shouldn't
It's insulting to those of us watching Monero since day 1.
Watching them all run around pretending they have squeaky clean image / track record.
If any other coin "community" pulled half the shit they did they would be flamed heavily.

Monero is popular today because of one thing.
The fact the scene degenerated so badly that they now look better than all the other ICO schemes etc.
By default they look better (on the surface)
Had others came here and made better and better coins Monero would have been left in the dust with Terracoin or World Coin or Krueger Coin or Name Coin or PeerCoin etc.

This forum is a vortex of deceit.
People who spew idealism then turn their back and count their cash.. while violating the rabble they were just chanting.

Monero was not launched as some altruistic vision.
The millionaire who launched it and kept it afloat all this time did so for a reason.
So the shallow hollow pathetic rich man in a castle driving a Bentley can get another Bentley.

I find it funny the dev said what i did all these years defending his GAMBLING SITE HACK.
He copied my words to defend his stupid ass greedy business built off of Monero.
Wallet coded yet ? They have rambled on about priorities huh ?
Like making money off gambling sites with a closed source business ?

Did you all read what the Jaxx wallet guy said ?
In a quick click of a button the Monero dev's wiped out his work.
Decentralized ? Democracy ? Free Market ?
Nope.. Monero is led by a Cabal who pull the strings so things benefit them.
Did the community get a vote or say in that or the MEW funds spent ?
Nope.. the rug was pulled out from under them because the millionaire and their friends paid by the millionaire chose do what ever the hell they wanted to.. behind close doors.
And apparently no matter what they do or how many stunts pile up you all drop to your knee's and suck King Risto's cock as he lays his feet on your back

..as long as those ROI's keep flowing in.

The point ?
This shit is a joke.

You all spew moronic idealistic rabble then throw it out the window seconds later .. for profit.

THEN have the fucking nerve ..no the gall ..no the audacity, to sit there and fucking deny it and play dumb.

Reality CHECK !
Monero gets criticized because they deserve it !
They deserve it because of the actions they have taken.
It is a simple cause & effect.

No one is sitting around fabricating things about them making up (and i quote) "lies"

I can think of one dev or service provider in Crypto who admitted to making mistakes and owning it.. long term.
His name is R3wt.
The rest of you all might on rare occasions admit to a mistake then an hour later pretend you got amnesia.

And the simply brilliant wonderful part of it all is..
The old guys end up leaving as this shit gets worse and new guys pop up with no clue at all what happened in the past.

Perfect system huh ?

Your knowledge about Monero information that is hidden from the public is very eye opening. I did not realize that everything in this cryptocoin might be a manipulated effort to create its own economic ecosystem. They have been successful in it especially with XMR acceptance in alphabay.

There is speculation that Mr. Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto. I cannot help think that Bitcoin and Monero might have the same strategy with Bitcoin also having its own man in the castle.
10066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum conference in Paris on: February 12, 2017, 12:35:05 AM
So everybody is thinking of the same thing about Vitalik could also be behind QTUM and Ethereum. But do you know the real reason why?

The reason could be that a switch from POW to Casper POS in Ethereum is impossible to do. So the need for QTUM to be the POS platform by proxy for Ethereum has to happen. If ETH is accepted in their ICO then I speculate a lot of Ethereum investors will transfer most ETH investments to QTUM.
10067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum conference in Paris on: February 11, 2017, 01:30:10 AM
Any developers here who are updated on all things in the cryptosphere still think Ethereum is a good platform to make dapps and smart contracts? All of them look like the founders created their own sand boxes to play in that produced and will produce nothing.

I speculate Ethereum will die once QTUM goes online. There is a reason team QTUM have made their platform compatible with Ethereum and Solidity. QTUM is POS and they will release it before Casper is implemented in Ehtereum.

Here is the kicker. Bo Shen of Fenbushi capital where Vitalik is also a general partner is heavily invested in QTUM. This makes me think that Vitalik has a hidden stake in there too which the Ethereum supporters does not have to know about.
10068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support Spoetnik's contributions to the Altcoin Discussions? on: February 11, 2017, 01:14:55 AM
The length is for a reason.
As i go on i know i will be attacked.
I know people will be picking it apart later and i always get accused of "lies"
Yet no one ever has a word to say about what EXACTLY i lied about.

It's to paint a picture that you all insist on not seeing.
..what i just said earlier (twice)

And then next comment is.. Spoetnik posts to get a rise out of people with dishonest info.

LOL

I'm tiring ? YOU FUCKING people are hahhaha

I appreciate the level of positive feedback you guys posted here though.. thank you.
But i highlighted the disconnect between YOUR coin and the others.
You all point at coin #5,001 and claim all the others are bullshit.
And all the others do the same damn thing with some other coin.

I seen years ago on Wikipedia there was over 5,000 Religions.. all claiming to be "the one"
More importantly.. they are contradicting each other.

All i ever hear is Scientologists crying FUD  Cheesy

PS:
I FUD Ethereum too ..not just Monero "the criminal coin" Wink

Paid your taxes ? handed your ID over yet ? Chanted Free Market / NO LAWS while on the phone with the Police lately ?

Cryptsy idiots cried NO LAWS.. now they are lining up for a class action lawsuit hoping the FBI nab Vern.

Do you SEE the retardness of this shit yet ?

One question. What is it with Monero do you not like? They have no premine, no ICO and everything started out from scratch. Was it fair? Maybe not because the more technically good people were the only users to start using their CLI. But what is fair? Bitcoin too is not fair.

Is it something about the developers?
10069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Point Spreads, Money Line and Total Score Betting Explained on: February 11, 2017, 01:07:12 AM
What other sports are you interested in? Do you watch and bet on motorsports specifically the Formula 1? I would love to see your other tips in sports besides the UFC. I see that your channel has the NFL but I do not know anything about it.
10070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you beat the house edge on: February 11, 2017, 01:03:00 AM
The answer is no. Of course you will win sometimes but for the long term the house always wins. You have already lost before making that 1st bet. That is how a casino makes money and be in operation for all this time. If they have enough money to withstand the short term fluctuations against them then they are ok.
10071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: February 11, 2017, 12:57:19 AM
@Hydrogen. This is what I think. Holly has been an enigma. Before beating Ronda Rousey she was considered only as average and was not on anyone's radar before becoming the women's bantamweight champ. Is she really only an average fighter that was hyped after defeating Ronda?

How long has she been working with Israel Martinez? Did she focus more on her wrestlng in this fight? If she did we might see a change in her style.

10072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum]UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform | Crowdsale March 2017 on: February 10, 2017, 01:04:11 PM
Has everyone heard of the latest news that the Peoples Bank of China has had a meeting with more Chinese cryptocurrency exchanges and this caused Huobi and Okcoin to suspend all withdrawals of BTC and LTC from their sites? Others will possibly follow and might suspend all cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals.

How does this affect the Qtum ICO since it will be done on 3 major Chinese exchanges? Will there be a change of plans?
I don't think the changes in the Chinese exchange will affect our Qtum project. Its not said that every withdrawals were suspended, every small bitcoin exchanges were warned not to involve into any of the unregulated activities, every transactions need to be done based on the regulation and taxation.

The ICO will be affected. How will the potential investors deposit BTC to the exchanges in China if they are not allowed to get cryptocoins in or out? How will the investors also get their QTUM coins transferred to their wallets?
10073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: February 10, 2017, 12:02:47 PM
@profitgenerator212. You keep saying that but nothing is happening. When we check the Synereo announcement thread all we see are people trolling back and forth. The representative from their team also has left and is nowhere to be seen in the the forum. Their website is blank except for the fake social media platform that looks like a bare bones MVP.
10074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2017, 10:41:14 AM
@krach. Thank you for posting the links and giving us your tips. I already made a bet on Germaine moneyline and got in at a good price 1.85 on Nitrogen Sports.

I agree with your friend in the video. Jacare versus Tim Boetsch will go over 1.5 rounds. Tim is tougher than you think.
10075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 10, 2017, 02:06:35 AM
McClaren having an orange car with some yellow in there? That would be ridiculous. It is far from the cool silver finish they had years ago when Lewis drove for them.

I also heard that the CEO is leaving after being with them for only a few months. Their team manager is also leaving and he is going to Williams. Is McClaren a sinking ship?
10076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: February 10, 2017, 01:58:44 AM
Both Holly Holm and Germaine De Randamie are decorated in their respected sports and  Holly Holm too had kick boxing experience and if you compare their knockout records Holly Holm has more knockouts and even though Randamie is undefeated in kick boxing she is not a knockout artist.I have seen her fights and Germaine has a lot of flaws in her fight game and i am sure Jackson Wink will find a game plan to defeat her.

The main concern for Holly Holm, her reflexes and reactions could be slowing down. Her accuracy also could be waning. Main concern for De Randamie could be her training in a place where she might not have access to good sparring partners for wrestling and jiu jitsu.

Do you really watch the UFC? Holly Holm's reflexes slowing down? Accuracy waning? What are you talking about?

Why would Germaine want to have access to good sparring partners for wrestling and Jiu Jitsu? She is fighting Holly Holm! A professional boxer and a kick boxer after that before joining the UFC. Training for wrestling and Jiu Jitsu vs primarily a striker would be a waste of time.
10077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: February 09, 2017, 01:07:21 AM
In what I have seen in the past when there is already a big amount of trolling, name calling and funny pictures made by a cryptocoin's supporters, they are already desperate and have no other way to express their loss. Soon anger towards the development team will happen and then acceptance when they finally click that sell button to dump.
10078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Decentralized Fund on: February 09, 2017, 01:02:18 AM
All these Newbie account popping up and creating one fund or the other looking for people to give them money to invest for them.

I will like you to answer this question

What experience do you have to manage investor's fund
How would you proof you can be trusted since you are a Newbie here
Don't be biased and judge him because of his rank. I've met many bitcointalk newbies who were brilliant and intelligent individuals with great ideas.
Would it be more reassuring that he had a hero account? Definitely not for me. Just read what he is talking about and judge that information by yourself.

The only things that matter:

- What this project is all about, what is the innovation here?
- Do we see competent, experienced people working on it?
- What is the purpose of the fund, what it will bring for us, possible investors?
- Do we have clear and honest relation with the community?

I would prefer to be biased and cynical than to be scammed by a fraud scammer. I am not saying the vegafund idea is a scam but judging from what we have always witnessed in the cryptoshere, the vegafund could maybe be over 99% a scam. The community has had enough of this and it is time to know who these people are. So the vegafund people should give us proof of their identity if they really want to be trusted.

I agree that the community has had enough of scammers, but I take issue with your post.

I didn't come here to try and pitch my product or raise money - as you already know, I'm new to this forum, but I thought this was a place where knowledgable people could discuss certain concepts (both technical and broader business). I made this thread with the sole intention of getting insight on a concept, so I didn't even link my project's website, since I thought my intentions might be viewed as disingenuous if I did.

So I didn't post my project's website - where you would find all of the team's identities, which we've put out to the public to the full extent of what we deem to be relevant, and as we try to grow only more will come out.

I understand your hesitation when dealing with a new account on this forum because you have no idea who's behind it, but your post makes it seem like myself and my team are deliberately trying to hide our identities which is both not true and (originally) not relevant to this thread.

If you are really new to this forum where you think there are knowledgeable people who could discuss your idea with you then it might be better for you to go somewhere else. You will be trolled here because this community has seen a lot of scams and almost all of them pretend to be new here.

If we do not know who you are and where you live then only the most foolish newbies will invest in your fund.

No I am not discrediting you. But do you know how much money the community have lost to scams and will lose to future scams?
10079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin segwit activation. What happened? on: February 09, 2017, 12:53:53 AM
To soon to say. The number one pool utilizes custom software and is working on that. So what happened? Maybe wait a while more and you'll get a final answer. If your interested Charlie Lee will be involved in an AMA with Chinese miners later on tonight.

Edit: You might also be interested in this interview.

Yes it is best to wait and see. The litecoin community has overhyped this on social media and led us into believing that segwit activation will come to consensus more quickly that bitcoin. It is still only at 3%. We should see it trending to 5% at least if there was some interest in it.

@dwscale11. I read the link you posted. Thank you. Can litecoin suffer from the same malleability attacks like in bitcoin?
10080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum]UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform | Crowdsale March 2017 on: February 09, 2017, 12:37:53 AM
It was said that a crowdsale will happen in 3 major Chinese exchanges but the names of the exchanges was not mentioned. I want to ask if it is possible for the people outside of China to register and make accounts in these major Chinese exchanges to participate in the crowdsale. If it is possible what are the 3 major exchanges the QTUM development team is referring to?

I guess the 3 major chinese exchange websites are BTCC, Huobi and OKCoin. I have heard a lot about OKCoin but do these exchange website allow international users to trade or only Chinese users are allowed to trade here?

Not only allowed to trade but also allowed to register to make an account to participate in the ICO. Maybe this ICO is more catered for the Chinese investors and that they do not really care about the foreigners and QTUM is based in Singapore.

I hope the QTUM representative can give us answers.
