1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: Today at 06:31:53 AM
One of the things Wilder complained about during their trilogy was that Fury was lean on to him and by using his weight he forced Wilder to use energy to try to push back. I am unsure how Usyk would handle that tactic if it were employed by Fury but he was successful when he shrugged off Joshua when he was clinging on in their fights.

And with his size, it can also be used as a tool, in the Wilder fight, Fury has a weight advantage of 42 lbs, and if he weight this much here, it will be clearly like a CW in Usyk, fighting a super Heavyweight and it will illustrate in this fight as he will used all that to push Usyk and put him in the corner.

To be fair that's a common tactic in boxing. Not only does it give the boxer a breather but it drains your opponent of energy as they have to bare their weight. Fury tried doing it to Ngannou but Francis was too heavy/strong and it backfired. Tyson will 100% use this against Usyk given he's the taller and heavier man, but I expect Tyson will play dirty in other ways like low blows and elbows, especially if it's clear he is losing.

His current physical condition seems to be questionable. It does look as though he has lost  lot of weight, a bit too lean and that could mean a big disadvantage because Fury does have a tendency to use his size and weight to pressure opponents by leaning in to them. You would presume it is going to help Fury will be active and fast with his fists but after his recent fights how many people think he is actually going to win?

Have you seen the pictures where it showed that Tyson Fury has presently lost much weight?

He also tends to post older photos from times he was more in shape. Don't believe anything unless it's guaranteed new photos or videos. Tyson could also be in excellent shape right this moment but be in a completely different one by the time the fight comes for better or worse. Usyk is in shape all year around and Tyson yo-yos and struggles to stay in shape.

I speculate that Tyson Fury did not go through his normal training routine against Francis Ngannou because he underestimated Francis. If he did this, we can be quite certain that Tyson Fury would have given Francis a knockout very much similar to Anthony Joshua.

On Tyson Fury's yo-yo and struggle. This is the most important fight of Tyson Fury's career, I reckon. He will be in the best muscular form for a fat boxer in his age. He might not be very muscular, however, he will also not be fat and slow for this fight.

He said he took it serious both before and after the fight, but we all know we can't believe what he says given he lies so much, but there's also the possibility that he's just not as good as we thought he was. I guess this Usyk fight really is going to be the litmus test because there's no sleepwalking into this fight out of shape as Usyk will dismantle him and if Tyson loses then he's lost to a 'jumped up middleweight' in his own words.

There's a little over two weeks for the fight now as the promo hasn't even started yet nor have either parties been posting about it on socials.

However not as good as he was after what we have witnessed on his fight against Francis Ngannou? Ngannou cannot be the person that will erase all of his victories against all of his opponents who are real boxers, would it not?

On what is the litmus test, we have witnessed this already against Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder, I reckon. Those victories have proven that he has passed the test. This fight against Usyk will be proof that he might be a heavyweight goat if he wins. Also, if Fury wins, I predict his next opponent will be Anthony Joshua.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: Today at 05:09:11 AM
It appears that the sportsbooks have very much underestimated this sexy fighting kitten Karolina Kowalkiewicz hehehe. Why are they doing this to her? She has more experience than Iasmin Lucindo, the Brazilian mannish woman that she is fighting, she has challenged for the championship before and she is also more sexy and beautiful. She will be a very good underdog bet, I reckon. She will win with a decision. Do not underestimate this woman.

This is the picture that she sent to me last night after her dinner hehehehe.

3  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: EU is set to delagalise decentralised mixers on: Today at 03:14:55 AM
As far as I understand all this, offering mixing services will be illegal, but using such services will not be outlawed.

Using them is not outlawed because they can take down any service they want whenever they want. They want to see who is crazy enough to take that risk. They probably think, if this person desperately wants to mix his coins, he probably has something to hide, let’s check. Another thing is, they probably seize these mixing services way before they announce their involvement… just to collect more data. Using centralized mixing services never made any sense to me because of that.

Decentralized services will be available anyway. Not every dev lives in a country they can reach. Can they get to a dev that lives in Russia for example? I don’t think so but this time your data will be in the hands of Putin.

This however weakens the fungibility of bitcoin. The owners the coins that do not listen and mix their coins, they're coins might not be accepted by businesses, exchanges in the cryptospace and those marked coins might have lower value in the market. Will everyone want to keep marked coins in their wallets? Innocent or guilty, this will only give the government a reason to find a crime in your activities in the cryptospace. Another head shaking problem people who want to use bitcoin as a medium of exchange.
4  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Uncle Gary leaving the SEC? on: Today at 02:20:24 AM
@zasad@. The victory in the case on Ripple is the judges ruling that have declared that the tokens by themselves are not securities. This might open a new roadmap for development teams on how to issue tokens without making it a security. I speculate that proof of work will become useful again in this new distribution method where projects will use proof of work for distribution then make the transformation to proof of stake. It might be similar to Ethereum without the premine.

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: May 02, 2024, 03:57:52 AM
It is being reported that Ryan Garcia has tested positive for performance enhancing drugs. It is really disappointing that this great win is now tarnished and will probably be overturned. There was so many potentially great fights that will now have to wait and may not even materialize.

There was even talk of Ryan being the new face of boxing after he gained millions of new followers after this win. Unfortunately, Ryan can’t manage to get his act together. He is more interested in being an influencer than having a legitimate career.

Agreed, this is very head scratching. I only discovered this news when I was looking for news updates and developments on the spot ETF for bitcoin in Australia heheh. However, Ryan Garcia is denying it and he also said in social media that he has never taken a steroid. I reckon if he is being framed, this needs to have an investigation. However, if he is lying, we will witness the crazy Ryan to create a more crazier image on social media. I predict he will declare that the Illuminati is attacking him.

Star boxer Ryan Garcia tested positive for the performance-enhancing substance ostarine the day before and the day of his upset win over Devin Haney last month, per a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association letter sent to all parties Wednesday and obtained by ESPN.

The urine samples were collected prior to the fight, but the results weren't known until later.

Garcia has 10 days to request that his B-sample be tested. Garcia's A-sample also screened positive for 19-norandrosterone, but its presence is unconfirmed until further lab analysis.

"Everybody knows that I don't cheat," Garcia said in a video posted on X. "Never taken a steroid. ... I don't even know where to get steroids. ... I barely take supplements. Big lies, I beat his ass."

Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions said in a statement that it is working with Garcia's team to "determine how this finding came to be."

"Ryan has put out multiple statements denying knowingly using any banned substances -- and we believe him," Golden Boy said in its statement.

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Australia speculated to also launch a spot ETF for Bitcoin on: May 02, 2024, 03:21:29 AM
Might want to source a local media outlet given such govt entities don't usually give running commentaries about what they *might* do.  (don't get me wrong - I don't doubt an overseas media outlet is speculating, but that's not the same as if it were announced here in Australia).

Agreed. I will look for this in Australian financial media next time for confirmation. However, the news also began according to Bloomberg which implies that it is only a speculation that Australia might also approve and launch a spot ETF for bitcoin. I will change the title of this thread to indicate that this is only speculation. Also, if you have any news updates on this, please share them in the thread, thank you.
8  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: May 02, 2024, 02:40:35 AM
@tabas. It was taken on 2021 or 2022 when the fud campaign on Binance was only beginning. CZ wrote 4 rules on how Binance will survive on a bear market. No.4 is do not listen to the fud and every time there was fud on Binance, he would share that image with 4 fingers.

In any case, it appears that he made 4 a reality. He was sentenced on the 4th month, on the 4th year of the 2020s and he was given 4 months hehehee.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 01, 2024, 05:57:41 AM
@Kemarit. You are correct. There is no argument against the signing of the contract with the rehydration clause is Ryan's fault. My argument is against the fans who do not consider the rehydration clause as the cause of King Ry's loss. Similar to what you have said, Tank will not fight this version of King Ry because he does not want to fight King Ry where he is strongest. However, King Ry agreed to fight Tank in his strongest and with a rehydration clause hehehehehe. I reckon it is very clear who will create a bigger legacy. This will not be Tank.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: May 01, 2024, 04:28:48 AM

It appears that you are the perfect victim for the trolling of King Ry in social media hehehehe. This occurs to people who are always believing in what they read on the internet or in newspapers. They are using you and taking advantage of you my friend. King Ry has tricked many people already, I shake my head that this is still working on some people. Everyone should begin to be very skeptical on what Ryan will say. He will be a crazier troll or he might be starting to have a real sickness in his head. I am quite certain he is only trolling.

We all are a victim of his trolling  Cheesy Cheesy I'm just surprised that he easily mastered the art of trolling this will make bettors bet on his next fight, with Ryan's success in trolling I'm sure he will repeat it on his next fight, but it's still good entertainment, we come to watch on all what he says and intentions.

I have this feeling that Ryan doesn't want to build his reputation in winning a lot of titles but more on making fun of everyone and making money at the same sounds more like Jake Paul's antics.

I hope to see both of these two clowns in the ring it's going to be a battle of thrash talks and trolling, but Jake Paul needs to beat Tyson first.

King Ry's reputation does not depend on championships. His reputation depends on boxing against the best boxers in the world very much similar to the undefeated Devin Haney who was hyped to be in the pound for pound rankings. Haney was also hyped to be the next Floyd Mayweather but Ryan defeated him hehehehehe. It would also be very headshaking to compare King Ry to Jake Paul. King Ry wants real legacy by fighting the best boxers, Jake Paul only likes to scam people very much similar to ICO scammers who sell hype and dump on their own followers.
11  Economy / Speculation / Australia speculated to also launch a spot ETF for Bitcoin on: May 01, 2024, 03:29:35 AM
If your favorite influencers in social media or in this forum have begun to become more bullish, be bearish. If they become more bearish, be bullish hhehehe.

In any case, this is bullish news coming from Australia because it will bring more cash inflows in Bitcoin. I am not quite certain how powerful these Australian financial institutions twap, however.

According to a report by Bloomberg, Australia might get its first spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) later this year. According to the report, the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) might greenlight the first spot BTC ETF application by the end of 2024.

Bloomberg notes that several issuers are lining up to launch their products on ASX. Some of these issuers include BetaShares, VanEck, and DigitalX. According to a spokesperson for ASX, the exchange is currently engaging with several issuers.

Also, another bullish news is Ethereum's ETF applications by the new mayor of Bitcoin and other applicants. These are the dates for their deadlines. On May 23 will be the next schedule.

12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: May 01, 2024, 02:19:03 AM
It appears that under Richard Teng, Binance is having much difficulty in maintaining their good relations with some regulators in certain jurisdictions. This might be the beginning of Binance's fall from dominance, however, the skeptical me thinks that the regulators from the Philippines and Nigeria also want to receive billions of dollars very much similar to how the DOJ in America received $4 billion from CZ hehhehe.
My short conclusion is that Richard Teng is still unable to overcome problems related to operating permits in more than one country.
Binance, which is a large and well-known platform, should have a new CEO think of a way out so that the problem of operating permits in several countries must be resolved so that Binance in these countries can operate normally without problems being kicked out.

I don't want to hide what I think if this continues to happen in every country that people will start switching to other exchanges. This is also the beginning of the decline of Binance's dominance.

I very much agree on the speculation that this might be the beginning of Binance's decline. However, on the argument that it might not be safe to keep your funds in Binance, I disagree. Binance might presently be the safest exchange to hold funds because all of the regulators have placed them under a regulatory microscope hehehe.

@tabas. How long is CZ's prison sentence?

This is CZ's reply hehehehehehee.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 30, 2024, 03:43:53 AM

Ryan's success is going on his head he also mentioned that he also wants to fight Anthony Joshua can you imagine that, he thinks he is invincible right now, he admitted that he had ADHD in one of his interviews we can understand his situation but telling something almost impossible is something worth laughing about.

His likely opponent is Pitbull Cruz because he has a good chance of beating him compared to Spence who he only wants to fight because of Derrick James issue.
Right now with Ryan Garcia's success, all eyes are on him because of his unnatural antics outside of the ring.

Uncle Gary is doing a great job, but he will fail with Ethereum and soon there will be spot Ethereum ETFs in the US. Many companies were waiting for regulations, and now the SEC has many ways to fill the state budget.

Hehehhe he is only doing a great job before the case, however, when these cases begin, it will depend on the judge's statement and ruling if uncle Gary is really doing a great job. Uncle Gary was a loser to Ripple already. This is a very important precedent for the next cases.

He is not leaving hehehehe and he also cannot be removed from his position unless there is a motion for impeachment in Congress. His term will end in 2026.
The US Congress doesn't have the power to remove the SEC Chairman. He is an appointee of the president and confirmed by Congress and can only be removed by the President. The Senate can only mount pressure on the President to sack him but this can only happen if he is guilty of inefficiency, neglect of duty, or misconduct. It is rare to see the president of the US sacking the head of an independent regulatory commission like the SEC they are usually forced to resign.

I am not quite certain on this. I reckon congress has this power also.

I have not checked on the updated data on the volume comparison between the total cryptospace trading volume and stock market volume in South Korea, however, during March and May of 2021 the volume in the cryptospace traded in Korean Won in their jurisdiction was higher than their stock market volume.

I have heard that this is presently something similar again but I have not seen this data. I only see people in social media mention this. It might only be fake news, however.

@larry_vw_1955. I am starting to speculate that these warnings, wells notices, cases from uncle Gary and all these anticrypto campaigns from American politicians might cause a big dump similar to May 2021 when China bitcoin and the whole of the cryptospace in their jurisdiction.

Will the uncle Gary and the politicians be successful in forcing the cryptospace out of America or will the new mayor of bitcoin defeat them?

17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 29, 2024, 03:29:12 AM
@btc_angela. This is what has been said by only the very few of the boxing fans in boxing forums and the fans in bitcointalk.org might be thinking that this is only a conspiracy theory if we mention it hehehee. If King Ry did not win against Devin Haney, I reckon everyone would remain to think that this is only a conspiracy theory. It is headshaking. Much of these fans want to think and only accept Tank Davis has won without speculating why and how. We were scammed by Tank. We should not support this type of person.

There’s no doubt Tank had an unfair advantage but Ryan bears some responsibility for agreeing to those terms. Canelo and Floyd have used similar tactics before, but it has not had much impact on their legacy. For me it diminishes their accomplishments, which is why I consider Beterbiev, Nakatani, and Bivol better pound for pound fighters than Canelo, even though many lists have him third only behind Inoue and Crawford.

I think Ryan has no choice though, he is the B-side on that negotiations and we can say that he just wanted to fight Tank Davis. And there could be upside as well for him as far as PPV revenues and live gates and that's why he said yes.

And he just try to make it real but telling the public that there is a rehydration clause and Davis camp didn't disagree with him and they justify that Ryan is too big for Tank that's why they inserted it in the contract. And most likely why Tank as much as he had that superstar power, is still behind with some fighters that you mentioned as far as greatness is because he just wanted to protect his 0 at all cost.

We are not arguing about Ryan's choice. This is his mistake on signing the fight against the ICO scammer Tank with a rehydration clause. We are talking about the fans that gave Tank the cheers when he won vs. King Ry and agreeing on the argument that he gave up in the ring without considering the rehydration clause.

I reckon King Ry was there to make boxing great again. However, this scammer Tank is using the coward's tactic by hiding behind the contract. I would like to witness a rematch against Pitbull and another rematch against King Ry. We can be quite certain Tank will avoid these.

Falcons GM Suggests Michael Penix Jr. Could Sit '4 or 5 Years' Behind Kirk Cousins

The Falcons pulled off the biggest stunner of the 2024 NFL draft so far, selecting Penix with the No. 8 pick. The move came roughly a month-and-a-half after they signed QB Kirk Cousins to a massive four-year, $180 million contract.

In '4 or 5 Years' Michael Penix Jr. will be 28+ years old.  Cheesy

I imagine NFL owners can't fire their general managers during the draft, right? It hasn't happened before? I mean, drafting an injury-prone quarterback in the first round after signing Cousins to a $100 mill guaranteed contract is completely insane, beyond the realm of brain dead.

Six quarterbacks selected in the top 12 screams desperation, and it's not like this year's QB class is anything special outside of Caleb Williams.

"4 or 5 Years" is just him being diplomatic, they will be lucky to get 3 good years out of cousins before age takes him down and a few years behind a QB like cousins will give them a Franchise QB for the forseeable future so it looks like a great move to me.

All these tard coaches that run out a rookie QB from the draft are killing the qb's as well as the teams chances for years to come.

Greenbay does it right and the other teams need to learn from them rather than saying they keep getting "Lucky".

Also, they might be forced to make this rookie their qb1 because according to some articles Kirk Cousins has not yet healed to 100% from his injury on his teared achilles. If he is 100% healed and he will play on week 1, I speculate that it will not be an assurance that he can play for the whole season.

In any case, how to follow college football? Where to begin? I am very much confused because it appears to have different leagues.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 29, 2024, 02:05:45 AM
Finally, Devin made an official announcement after the beating he wants a rematch at an agreed weight but
he is making excuses about the additional weight when in fact he agreed and bet and claimed the $1.6 million its his fault that he agreed to proceed even if Ryan is overweight.
Champions don't make excuses, I hope he gets better the next opponent is already announced so he should prepare for Sandor Martin.

Agreed. However, I am beginning to speculate that the bet on their weight cut might be a trick for Devin Haney to accept and continue the fight if King Ry was overweight hehehehe. I reckon after the tricks that was done to King Ry by the rehydration clause enforcer Tank Davis, King Ry has learned that the war begins before they fight in the boxing ring. I am very much excited for this new version of King Ry and his next fight! I wish this will be against Tank on catchweight.
Or it could backfire on Ryan Garcia moving forward? I mean his future opponents know his trick now and so they won't just ride on the speculations that he is crazy and not trying or partying before the fight because this is want Ryan wanted to portray. And so we can see that is very effective as Bill and Devin admitted that they have been trick here. So whoever Ryan's next opponent will be, he will have to know before hand that this is a psyche war that Ryan and everything is for publicity stunt and so his opponents should focus on the fight not on Ryan social media posts or what he tries to show in public.

However, how would this backfire if King Ry does not use this trick again? Similar to what you have said, it already very much known that he has much difficulty going under 143 pounds. I reckon much of his fights will be on catchweight. He might only try to fight in super lightweight if he wants to win a championship, however, this will only be a risk for him, I reckon. If Pitbull and the scammer Tank wants to challenge him, they will only have a chance on carchweight 145 pounds.

According to this article, these are the boxers that King Ry has mentioned that might be his next opponents. There will be Tank, Fundora, Errol Spence, Pitbull, Conor Benn and Sugar Sean.

Since beating Haney, he has called out Davis at a higher catchweight. "Everyone wanna talk about the little Stupid tank," Garcia has posted on X, formerly Twitter. "Let's fight, [enough] of that funny talk. Come see me at 144[lbs], and [let's] stop the talk. If you beat [Frank Martin], let's run it [Gervonta Davis]."

Garcia has also teased fighting UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley. The MMA star has spoken about stepping into the boxing ring in the future.

Davis, though, is far from the only boxer Garcia has called out. Since the Haney fight, he has also hinted at facing former unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. "Wait RG vs Errol would be crazy," he posted on X. "Nah y'all want that? Let me hear you," before later claiming: "Errol Spence can't beat me."

But in his pursuit of becoming a world champion, Sebastian Fundora is someone Garcia has called out multiple times. "I'm moving up to 154 to knock out [Sebastian] Fundora," he remarked to a reporter before the Haney fight.

That would see Garcia jump up multiple divisions to challenge the WBC and WBO light middleweight champion. "I personally wanna beat up Fundora for the 154-pound title," Garcia has since said on X's Spaces. "I know he's 6-foot-6, but I can knock him out cold. I will put Fundora to sleep."

He added: "I need a title just to do it, just to shut people up," in response to the suggestion of fighting former WBA super lightweight champion Rolly Ramirez. Garcia has also mentioned the fighter that dethroned Ramirez, Issac Cruz, on social media by his nickname "Pitbull." However, he acknowledged that "this one would be hard to make."

Immediately after beating Haney, he also called out Conor Benn, remarking: "Let's run it in London at the 02."

This might be the beginning of Binance's fall from dominance, however, the skeptical me thinks that the regulators from the Philippines and Nigeria also want to receive billions of dollars very much similar to how the DOJ in America received $4 billion from CZ hehhehe.

Also, CZ's sentence will be on April 30.

When Binance co-founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao resigned in disgrace in November, his successor Richard Teng pledged a new era was dawning for the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange.

Disregarding regulation was out. And compliance was in.

With Zhao, 47, set to be sentenced on April 30 for violating US banking law, delivering on that promise is proving to be problematic.

Throughout its seven-year history, regulators around the world have steadily faulted Binance for operating in their markets without the necessary licences.

In March, officials in the Philippines blocked Binance after the exchange failed to get licenced following months of warnings. Now authorities are going so far as to work with Apple and Google to remove Binance from their app stores.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency has charged Binance with money laundering and tax evasion. The efforts are part of a wide-ranging investigation into allegations the company is facilitating illicit financial transactions on its platform.

Nigerian authorities have also charged two Binance executives with the same allegations, and one, Tigran Gambaryan, has been detained for almost nine weeks pending bail and a trial.
