10101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin loses 10% of its value after being called "rat poison" by Warren Buffett on: May 19, 2018, 03:38:04 AM
Bitcoin loses nearly 10% of its value after being called "rat poison" by Warren Buffett.
Ending the US session on May 5, Bitcoin closed at over $ 10,000 per coin. However, only on 6/5, the currency was blown 6% value before losing 2% in May 7th session. Currently, Bitcoin prices are trading at $ 9,300. Bitcoin's bad slump comes after the annual meeting of legendary investor Warren Buffett. Reply to CNBC, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway for Bitcoin with "rat poison."
So what do you think?

Where are you living in the last couple of days mate? Under the rock? Did you just copy-and-paste that?  Please if you are going to post something, read everything carefully. This is very very old news already. The price of bitcoin is now at $8200 levels not $9300 (checked your statement, I even bolded it for you). It's either you lack reading comprehension or you are just one troll to spread this FUD which its already repeated so many times in the forum.
10102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Survived 8000, time for $10k? on: May 19, 2018, 03:20:17 AM
What do ya think. Bitcoin straddled 8000 last night but failed to break down further, now it's made a couple $100 jumps up today. Have we seen <$8000 for the last time? Are we heading back to challenge $10k by the end of the month?

It feels good waking up and seeing the price above $8K again, However, I don't feel good about the $10K challenge that soon. First we need to get around $9K at the end of the month and then let's see how it goes. Its too early to tell, just a couple of weeks ago, we touch $9950, and everyone is celebrating that we will finally see 5 digits mark again. Unfortunately, the market goes South again and the ever elusive $10K move away further. Let's take baby steps again, $9K then let's see how it will pans out, if the saying third time's a charm really hold true (we have attempted to break $10K twice already as far as I know).
10103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: May 19, 2018, 02:58:26 AM
there must be, for example, the shame when we lose the gamble and the embarrassment of having little capital in the appeal of our gambling gambling capital is very much

How will someone know that you have little capital to begin with? And why are you so embarrassed by it? Having a small capital has its disadvantage but I don't think that is one of the reason why someone will be embarrassed or feel ashamed of. If you step into the casino everyone has a equal chances of hitting the jackpot no matter what your starting capital is. I think the main reason why first time gamblers is shy is that they are somewhat intimidated by how big a landbased casino is and they need to understand first what is the smallest bet that they can put say for example in a table game like blackjack or in a slot machines.
10104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Large win @ 7bitcasino.com on: May 19, 2018, 02:35:59 AM
A buddy of mine won the jackpot and the max payout multiplier on Bad Girl slots last night.

Over 11 BTC!

Damn, that was one big winnings. Although its much better if your friend can really shows us the screenshot of that jackpot so that we will not doubt that this is just a 7bitcoin.com marketing strategy.

How much though is the capital of your friend? I'm just curious because if he spend less, that even 1 BTC, that's already x10, however, its not a big win if your friend spend close to 11 BTC. Anyways, just spend your money well.  Grin
10105  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: May 19, 2018, 02:15:00 AM
An economy is a zone of the production, appropriation, or exchange, and utilization of merchandise and enterprises by various operators. Comprehended in its broadest sense, 'The economy is characterized as a social area that underlines the practices, talks, and material articulations related with the production, utilize, and administration of assets'. Monetary specialists can be people, organizations, associations, or governments.
Our country has lots of resources, lots of competent people but I just cannot imagine why the poor became poorer and the rich richier. Aside from that, almost all of the wealthy businessmen are not natural citizens. It is so sad to say, and there are lots if selfish people sitting in a public office. Well it is just what I see.

Perhaps because of the number one problem that almost all developing nation has, Corruption. That's why those privilege few became more powerful while the majority continues to suffer despite the government's effort to alleviate the conditions of most of their people. I know this because I lived in such country wherein as much as the government program to help the poor, it still can't gain much improvement because politicians all kept the money that was supposed to be for projects that will help the needy. They enrich themselves and even if you file a complaint against them, it will automatically go to the thrash bin because they have the money to pay for the corrupt judges.
10106  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto and automobile on: May 18, 2018, 10:17:27 PM
I'm just curious when can I start buying my dream cars with altcoins, I mean can huge automobile companies like Toyota, Ford and Nissan start accepting cryptocurrency as means of exchange

Its possible that in the future we will see big automobile companies specially Asian or Japanese car makers starts accepting crypto as payment scheme. I have a hutch that the Japanese automobile market is already accepting it because they already legalize bitcoin in their country. But if you are living in the US maybe you can found someone accepting crypto but I don't know if you can get a brand new though, maybe there's some re-sellers, because I remember last year their was a buzz in twitter about someone selling his BMW and accepting bitcoin as payment.
10107  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 5K? Future price discussion! on: May 18, 2018, 09:17:22 PM
I have no idea! which obviously bitcoin prices did not make it through the predicted rally, it is likely that prices will experience a small decline again, the current price alone shows in the order of $ 8,107 and decreased up to 1.98%.
hopefully the price will soon get support and start refocusing to the figure $ 9000 - $ 10,000

Right, its because those so called predictions doesn't always hit it marks and most of the time they are very wrong. As what the OP has suggesting, Bitcoin will get to $5K, because he has the "TA to backed it up", However, the market moves on the opposite direction. We bottom at $6500 but we are slowly recovering at $8K again. I know we are struggling to get into the $9K-$10K range, we might see that price once again when investors renewed their interest on the market in the next month or so.
10108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: May 18, 2018, 03:51:14 AM
Quiting gambling when you are already addicted into it is almost suicidal. This was the negative part about it, On the other hand, quiting gambling is quiting your toxic life. Stoping your greedy self and start a new one. Every person has a chance to change and i see it as a positive way.
Yes, gambling is very hard to quit because once it become a habit then the tendency is going to addiction and the fact is that gambling addiction mostly brings many consequence, therefore I agree that to quit gambling is to forget your life in crypto world and that is the hardest part since crypto world and online activity is always a part of gambler's life.
It is painful to see people becoming victim of this game even after knowing all the adverse effects. Gambling has never proved to be a beneficial activity in any way. It destroys a person not only economically but mentally and emotionally too. People end up committing suicide or many are left alone by their families. It makes person addict before he even realizes and young people are more vulnerable to such dangers.

Gambling addiction is really destroying people's lives, quitting gambling is not about quitting yourself, it is about seeing yourself in your better version. You should expect that your love ones or your family will leave you if you are going to choose gambling over them. But being negative about your life even though you are addicted in gambling and you just wanted to end your life as a solution is not really a good idea, maybe they left you behind, but that doesn't mean that they are not going to give you a second chance.
Gambling is destroying the lives of the gamblers who use to do it as well as the people who are associated with these gamblers through some relation, they also get much hurt from the acts of gamblers and many people can’t bare this thing and they quit their relation with the gambler because they can’t see gambler struggling for life every next day and for no reason basically.

Yes, of course. When someone becomes an addict and starts to have problems with his life, of course the people around him will feel the impact as well. Sometimes, the gambler will use the valuable things from  the people closest to him to satisfy his lust in gambling.
i dont know why problematic gamblers dont seek help from there family or close friends to get rid of the gambling habit and also stop the damage before it gets worse. after the gambler destroys the family the gambler would regret it on the end. the regret will be always in the end not on the start or middle.

Its because of self-denial. They keep on denying that they are addicted, but in most cases they are really are and they can't see it. And unless someone intervene on their behalf and really help them, there's no way for them to stop this bad habits unless they admit to themselves and see the bad effects on it in their lives. Sadly though, most cases, people wanted to get in and help is already late, its either the gambler has totally lost everything including his life.
10109  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Social media banning ICO & Crypto ads on: May 18, 2018, 03:15:14 AM
When Social media bans ICO & Crypto ads, what will be the best way for companies to advertise and inform?

Just to keep you guys updated, Bing, MicroSoft's search engine is going to ban crypto ads as well. But no brainer, as Bill Gates continues to attack bitcoin with a lot of negatives circulating in the media.

The best way for companies to promote is in this forum. You don't need to go around and even paying premiums to those social media giants just to get your ads in the page 1 of their search engine.
10110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptomarket all in red! on: May 18, 2018, 02:39:16 AM
If all coins are going down its time to buy or wait for more dump?
I have 300$ what i can buy and how much i will get after 2months?

which I know today the market is blushing because I know the market and altcoin are recovering and sometimes up sometimes down then I would not be surprised if the market is sometimes flushed, and if the current market condition is more you hold your altcoin until the market turns green

Everyone should really understand that some times this kind of movement happens in crypto market. And even though there are a lot of TA experts which predict that the market will recover, most of the time the opposite happens. Right now we are in another downtrend and I try to understand why really cause this kind of movement. The Bill Gates + Warren Buffett FUD is over and the Upbit investigation is ongoing. Will try to go around and search for the reason because I was a little bit surprise to see the price below $8K again.
10111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: May 18, 2018, 02:16:13 AM
I will use the money left to continue gambling, perhaps there is still a chance to return capital or win. Opportunity is very small, at least I dare to fight until the end. I know this will aggravate the situation, but my curiosity is very high. Even if I lose, I'll go home the next day and I'll borrow some money to get home.

I have been in that worst situation. But I already lost that's why I won't go that further. Chances are very slim, if you are unlucky then you might as well go home with that money and regroup. That's why I almost set aside money for cab fare or transportation so that the inevitable happen I can see go home and address want went wrong with my betting habits that lead me to a lost.
10112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should government consider bitcoin as a legal global currency? on: May 18, 2018, 01:13:21 AM
Bitcoin is forbidden in our country, and I admire the people of Japan, who can freely use bitcoin.

I can't imagine what the price of bitcoin would be if every country were to adopt the legal form of bitcoin.
There must be a resolution that bitcoin must be used as global currency. It's starting to have a major run so government should think of it. They must consider the effect of bitcoin to everyone because it is very helpful and beneficial. Many will earn once it has been acknowledged worldwide so it must be accepted.

Governments already looked at the effects of bitcoin. And that it has a negative effect because of being used by criminals to buy sort of illegal stuff and then there are a lot of scammers out there. They didn't look at the bright side that's why you will see some governments banning it. We all know that at the individual level its really very beneficial but there are government who are afraid of its disruptive effect that they have to ban immediately.
10113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fluctuates Below $8,500 on: May 17, 2018, 06:11:39 PM
Cryptocurrency drops further, making fresh lows, with no signs of the positive upside move.

Read Bokka Crypto Technical Analysis BTC/USD 17.05.18: https://bokka.com/bitcoin-fluctuates-below-8500/

Bitcoin has been in the range of $8100-$8700 in the last couple of weeks so I don't know what's the big fuss is all about. We have been in this kind of wild swings lately so I'm not surprise at all.

So I'm not sure if your prediction and analysis is backup by some TA or what, but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand that this market is full of surprises and again the price has been in this level for several weeks now.
10114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: May 17, 2018, 04:51:39 PM
And now we can add Microsoft's Search Engine "Bing" on the list that has banned crypto ads. As for the reasons, they wanted to stop scammers using their platform to spread their illegal activities.

However, I still thinks that its everyone job to really search and do our homework and not just to invest our money on a certain ICO and no amount of banning will stop them from doing so. It might lessen but not totally eradicate and I'm sure that scammers will continue to do their dirty work despite this bans from social media giants.
10115  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: May 17, 2018, 03:58:11 PM
Hi all, i finally got my deposit 2 days ago, took more then 1,5 months and quite a few tickets opened. Also withdrawals take ages and withdrowal fees are really high. If you can get the coin elsewhere i would highly recommend it Smiley. I'll probably transfer what i have left there to some other exchange or mew, hopefully wont wait for months again.

I'm really nervous about my coins sitting on HitBTC. I may just have to withdraw and deposit it to other trading platforms. But I saw someone says that HitBTC says that you have to wait for a month before you can actually withdraw your funds. It this is true then its already a lost for traders. My other issues is, how come ICO's still listed their coins on HitBTC though? They could go to other reputable exchanges to list their coins, why are they still partnering with them?
10116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 17, 2018, 03:36:00 PM
Well played. Harden was at his usual and they were able to defend homecourt this time. Hopefully they bring the momentum to game 3 though we all know how difficult it would be since the warriors will be playing at home. I'm rooting for a different finals encounter this time
Actually this is the kind of game that I am expecting from both teams, both going over 100 points but what I am not expecting is the 22 point margin. I am not sure if GSW is over confident and they didn't expect Houston will make a come back or they just want to bring the game to their turf.
If you see the first round and the second round match up of GSW, in every road game they are losing one and they are winning one game then they will win 2 games in their home. If this will happen again against Rockets, there is a high chance that GSW will go again in the finals. GSW I think didn't over confident but they I think they just let the Rockets win although this is just my opinion. If you see Steve Kerr, he is sitting only and he is calm because he believe in his teammates. Maybe they lose in the game because they have done it with purpose. If GSW will pull a win in Games 3 & 4. it will be 4-peat for them for sure.

I don't think that coaches "intentionally" wants to lose a game, not in playoffs. I thinks its more of like a losing cause already and perhaps Kerr has other plans in mind. He did try to fight though but Houston is too much specially when their 3's are going in. They still have the homecourt advantage that's why they can afford to lose this one. Players will be well rested going on the next game and it will be on their side. If by chance they win the next 2 games in their home court then its game over.
10117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 13, 2018, 11:58:19 PM
LeBron is on the mission again this year, and for you guys who thinks Celtics can overcome the Cavs, well sorry to say but the chances are very low without their 2 superstars. Experience has a higher winning percentage. Remember what happened with the OKC in the 2012 NBA finals? That team was stacked with young talents, but they lost because they dont have experienced the pressure and atmosphere in a playoff championship game.
It wouldve been a good competetive match up if both teams have a healthy roster.
I agree that the Cavaliers had a big advantage over the Celtics on paper but let us remember that the Sixers are pretty much dominating the Celtics on paper also and it did not translate into the game. The Celts dominated the Sixers and this might also happen to the Cavaliers if they will be overconfident that they will win over the Celtics.
With Kyrie Irving missing from the lineup I just think that it’s enough for the Cavaliers to get the victory just because of one Lebron James alone who has been in great form and have proven  many of his critics wrong.
Even though it is only game one but i think it is a good sign for the Celtics and also a confidence booster for the that they can beat the Cavaliers in this series.

Yes its going to be a confident booster for the young Boston Celtics. You will notice that they have that confidence, Tatum shooting over James for a 3's. Kudos to the Celtics team for dominating the Cavs and totally shutting not just Lebron, but the second squad as well. Its now time for Lebron and dig deeper again and show another aces up on his sleeves.
10118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: May 13, 2018, 11:17:05 PM
Altcoins are not dying, maybe some of it is getting down but it doesn't mean that other altcoins will follow; hence, there are still  an altcoins who keep rising when it comes to price and popularity.
I also believe that altcoins are not dying, i am a holder of some altcoins, like ethereum, waves and neo and this, 3 coins i have is not dying and i am sure that many altcoins in the market will not die, even not all the altcoins have a future but it i will still exist in this world for long time.

Obviously those are high value altcoins, so it will not die that easy because of the support of the community. Most likely those shitcoins who are just created for the sake of pump-and-dump and then no support from the dev behind will simply disappear in the next 1-3 years. Just look at how many coins those top exchanges de-listed and you will see how many have already died.
10119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: May 13, 2018, 10:47:40 PM
the only thing that made me embarrassed was when I lost a second time, like losing my self-esteem. as well as money lost, such as losing self-esteem.

What do you mean that you lost your self-esteem?  I understand if you have been embarrassed but I'm sure that you have made your mistakes and do learn from them. But losing self-esteem is different and difficult and its hard to overcome. It will cost you more money if you continue playing that way so I advise you to at least control you gambling habits.
10120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin cliche $36,000 price by the end of next year? on: May 13, 2018, 10:24:59 PM
What Goldman Sachs said is that Bitcoin was a bubble which I don't believe myself and I believed bitcoin will start pumping from next month due to the bitcoin payment system implemented by the Russian for the FIFA World Cup game but the Fundstrat Global research  predicted bitcoin to cliche $36,000 price ranfe by the end of next year, I know nothing is impossible but can will achieve such ATH next year?

Like you said everything is possible so let's do hope that bitcoin will get to the next level and achieved new all-time-high for this year again. What I really wanted to see is how the FIFA World Cup will really affect the price. If this will do good for the ecosystem then it will set a precendence and maybe other sporting events will used bitcoin as their payment system which will really push the price even more. So let's see how it goes if we can even go after $20K-$30K at the end of this year.
