Or maybe because he is always tired in training because his girlfriend is Ronda Rousey. ;-D

I disagree that he will get his old ferocity in the octagon back. He is 34 years old and the competition and skill in all of MMA is getting higher and higher. Soon the young fighters who have more motivation, skill and who are hungrier will take over. Theold  fighters like Travis Browne will only play the role of gate keeper in the sport.
10122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins under 70K Valuation on: January 31, 2017, 01:17:18 AM
@ingiltere. I got curious so I checked Coinmarketcap. The closest I can find with a low market cap and something that looks promising is Primecoin. Too bad it is not very much supported by the community and the developers may have lost interest in continuing on with the project.
10123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins under 70K Valuation on: January 30, 2017, 01:20:08 AM
What do you mean by under 70k? In dollars or bitcoins? If you mean under 70k dollars then I would advice you to avoid them. They are dead projects that are not worth your time and money. If you want to look for projects with small market capitalization but are active go to Coin Gecko.
10124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson Info and Prediction Thread on: January 30, 2017, 01:15:27 AM
Eddie Alvarez was never considered a fighter in the level of the guy he beat, Rafael dos Anjos. I was surprised Eddie knocked him out easily in that match. Many people would say that Rafael dos Anjos would give Conor a harder time than what Eddie did. Too bad Rafael has moved on to welterweight. Him versus Conor would have been a good fight.
Eddie Alvarez was considered as the underground king and the best fighter outside the UFC for a very long time ,Rafael Dos Anjos would definitely be a difficult match for Conor Mcgregor without any doubt and Dos Anjos is really unlucky to miss the fight agains Mcgregor due to injury and he missed a big pay out and then he lost the belt which was a bit harsh and then he lost against Tony Ferguson but i didnt know that he moved to welterweight, where did you hear that.

He just announced it on his Twitter account. Perhaps he is having difficulty making weight as a result he lost 2 straight bout  that why he has decided to moved up in weight.

Also maybe he think the welter weight division has easier competition in the top 5. The top 5 excluding the champion at this moment are Wonderboy, Robbie Lawler, Demian Maia, Carlos Condit and Cowboy Cerrone.

Carlos Condit is going to retire soon and Cowboy Cerrone is not as good as he looks so that leaves 3 tough fighters for Rafael to face.

Another scenario would be maybe he wants Conor to fight him at welter weight.

@HaXX0R1337. Travis Browne is not a top 3 fighter judging from his fight history. He can jump from camp to camp to make himself a better fighter but that will do him no good in the UFC. The skill level is very high in MMA these days and all he can hope for is to become a gate keeper in the heavy weight division or maybe can get lucky like Michael Bisping.
10126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 30, 2017, 12:14:11 AM
If it was only an overestimation from Greg Meredith then why did Dor fire him?

Go read the whole account. TLDR: Greg was acting in a way that would get him fired from any company.

Dor fired Greg because Greg promised Dor that Rchain will work by this time. It was not working so they both got in an argument and then Greg started acting in a way that would get him fired after that. Greg was also asking for more money and Dor needed to stop it. Was Greg scamming? We will know in the future. One thing that is sure is Rchain will not work.
10127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: January 30, 2017, 12:05:10 AM

I would prefer that they did what I would have done in their place: apologize for the inconvenience and refund investors.

If you ask for money to organize a Rolling Stones show and then you find out your partner in charge of contacting them is gone and all you can do is contacting Maroon 5, would you still do the show? It doesn't matter how good Maroon 5 is! You must refund everyone (or everyone who shows interest is a refund), instead of "staying competitive". It is not about token price. It is about fairness, morality, principles and even legality.

Lol. Of course I would.

Both Rolling Stones and Maroon 5 would make me money, if I were an investor.

Sometimes you expect 5000% profit, but you only get 4000%, oh big deal  Cheesy

Do you seriously expect the project creators to know the future, and to tell you exactly what will happen? They are not demi-gods, they are just entrepreneurs, trying to create something.

And while investor are constantly bitching about every concievable thing they can find, they are still working hard on it. And it may not be a Rolling Stones, but I don't care.

It will be a very very exciting project that will probably make  a lot of returns in my opinion.

This is true. The people who invested in the ICO when the price they were selling AMP for was at 30k satoshis does not deserve to have a losing investment. But it does not mean you deserve to win too. You took a high risk and a high reward investment, whatever happens is up to the market.
10128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 29, 2017, 01:00:52 AM
If it was only an overestimation from Greg Meredith then why did Dor fire him? Dor was already beginning to be suspicious of Greg because it was already becoming clear that he was scamming everyone by saying Rchain will work.

Now there you are admitting that you do not care if Synereo runs on a few centralized servers as long as there will be demand for AMP. So what are you saying? It is ok for you that this is really a facebook copy with what might be a scamcoin?
10129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP as currency on: January 29, 2017, 12:51:13 AM
@God27. Maybe they released that story about Chris Larsen's firing to save face. When a CEO leaves or is made to leave then clearly something is wrong in the company. Whatever happened the truth is hidden to save both the company's reputation and in this case Chris' career. Maybe you are right, Chris Larsen cannot handle the job anymore because he is only a start up guy.

Or while you're at it, maybe he is going to Stellar to work for Jed. Smiley

Is going from CEO to Chairman of the Board leaving the company?

But he was removed from an active role because maybe they saw that Ripple was not getting the banks interested when he was in charge. They tested it but nothing happened after that.

To tell you the truth I do not have the slightest idea what is going on with them. All I said is only based on what I have read and what I have seen in the past.
10130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Openshares? on: January 29, 2017, 12:42:57 AM
Openshares is not developed by the Larimers. Some other group of developers are using the source code and have created their own network. There is nothing wrong with this at first glance. But if the Larimers were accuesed of using this code to scam the community then the same thing can happen again done by another group of developers.
10131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on FOX 23: Shevchenko vs. Pena Prediction and Info Thread on: January 29, 2017, 12:27:17 AM
If the fight was really a battle for sexiness then my pick is Valentina Shevchenko. She is sexier and her face, especially the eyes is like that of a porn star. Another very sexy fighter with porn star eyes is Meisha Tate.
10132  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: January 29, 2017, 12:17:54 AM
I now realize that the sportsbook and casino business is very competitive these days. All these newbie accounts that are created to attack 1XBit could be the initiative of their competitors. The evidence they show is weak and all the images are photoshopped. My suggestion for 1XBit, continue to give better odds for their customers and attract more people.
10133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: January 28, 2017, 01:28:31 AM
This would be a good time to step back and ask what the qualifications of the CEO have in running a project such as this. What was he doing before he started and organized Synereo? Was he a CEO of another start up? What happened to it? He holds millions in investor's funds how do we know that he knows what he is doing?

But what he did in getting rid of Greg was commendable. He was clearly scamming Dor. Rchain and Special K are both scams.

10135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 28, 2017, 01:08:24 AM

The alpha version is nothing. It is only a website and who knows what database it is running on. They promised that they will deliver the most advanced form of blockchain called Rchain and they also marketed Special K to go along with it. They raised millions but what did you get? Nothing. Greg Meredith cannot make it work.

Maybe he cant make it work, but others can. They have hinted that they are hiring new people to work on the project:

I am reading between the lines and thinking that they just very recently hired new people and new work hasn't started yet.

Aside from Greg, no one from the old team has left in the past few months, and we've since hired 2 new developers, another IT guy, and will likely close with another dev in the coming week.
Work has not stopped for a second.

Besides, at this point, doesn't matter what platform they choose, I believe the whole idea as it is, is worth it.

Now I am sure they will do what they have promised, I have no doubt about that. However, even if the alpha will be a little bit rough version of the concept, even then, I believe the price will rise.

It will be the 2nd blockchain social media after Steemit, that I know about. And it will definitely gain a huge popularity.

AMP will be the currency that will "amplify" your posts, so it will automaticaly have a demand, like a premium currency in a video game.

I can only see the AMP price going up.

They might be misleading us. I predict that in the next months they will scrap Rchain and Special K because it cannot be made to work from the very beginning it was conceptualized. In short Greg Meredith may have scammed the CEO of Synereo. He was tricked into thinking that Rchain will work.
10136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: January 28, 2017, 01:03:51 AM
I downloaded parity, used parity --geth it downloaded the whole blockchain in less than 3minutes but my account is empty, the wallet address is correct but it shows 0 eth. I moved the UTC wallet file from appdata\roaming\ethereum\keystore folder to parity\keys. Why can't it see the balance ?

edit: use --chain=classic to be on the correct chain.

run
Ethereum-Wallet\resources\node\geth\geth.exe

wait.. 12GB download  Smiley

With parity it's 3GB only.

Why only 3GB? Did the development team of ETC did some blockchain pruning? That is a big difference from the real size of the blockchain which would be over 30GB by now. Everytime I ask how big the blockchain is no one gives me a straight answer. The supporters of this project maybe trying to avoid the seriousness of the issue.
10137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 210: Cormier vs Johnson Info and Prediction Thread on: January 27, 2017, 02:09:01 AM
@Pattberry. I feel the same way too. The first fight showed that Anthony Johnson's weakness was mental. He was not ready for Daniel Cormier's relentlessness. After the knock down Daniel got up and fought on. This made Anthony worried for the rest of the fight. He will not make the same mistake again. He will go in the octagon with more motivation and heart. My money is on AJ.
10138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: January 27, 2017, 01:57:54 AM
I did a little reading about Synereo and the issue about Greg Meredith leaving the project. I learned that Greg started Rchain and Special K that everyone was excited about because the technology is more advance than the blockchains that we have now. I also learned that Rchain and Special K was precisely the reason why Synereo has raised millions in funding. On what technology will Synereo run now that Rchain and Special K is out of the picture?

Synereo LTD still owns all the RChain IP and is actively developing it.  Greg was a developer working on RChain and was fired.  Greg cannot take Synereo LTD IP and form a new company around it.  Synereo LTD is still actively pursing the development of advanced blockchain solutions utilizing the RChain IP and other technologies.  The previous roadmap of waiting for RChain deployment to run the social network has been scrapped.  A new roadmap has been issued which has an accelerated deployment schedule.  The attention economy will go live on existing social networks which will enable testing and user procurement.  This is deemed the "Alpha".  A new blockchain tech will be developed simultaneously which will allow the attention economy to transition over to a fully decentralized social network after testing on existing social networks.  AMPs will be utilized during the Alpha phase.

I found the new roadmap and I found it to be a little vague. There were no dates and it looked like it was made for the purpose of appeasing the AMP holders. I also found out that the Synereo CEO expected Greg Meredith to already have a working product of his Rchain and Special K which I think he himself invented. Later it was found out that Greg does not have a working product.

Maybe Rchain needs more work and more time so an accelerated deployment schedule would be impossible unless they release a centralized database instead.

I've said this several time that it is dishonourable from Synereo team not to refund ICO fund to the investors, what they are offering now is half of the package promised during the ICO but this is what you get where there is no regulation, investors are the ones to bear the loss.

It is not Synereo's fault. You knew what you were getting into before you made an investment in their ICO. All Initial Coin Offerings bear its investors a great risk. But the rewards are also huge so it is your gamble if you want to go into it. Saying that they are dishonorable is a mistake. In any investment decisions you make, you are the one solely responsible. Sorry that you lost your savings.
10139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP as currency on: January 27, 2017, 01:53:29 AM
@God27. I do not buy it. It is looking like Ripple is a failed experiment. How many years has it been? All that time and nothing but a few tests made by the banks. I just learned that the CEO stepped down last year. If you read between the lines it usually means that he was not doing a good job. I speculate that the company behind Ripple will slowly step away from XRP. They have shown that by creating Interledger. XRP is a ponzi let us be honest. It is really one right now.
10140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 27, 2017, 01:47:05 AM
I thought about buying good amount of AMP because it could be undervalued right now. After doing a little reasearch on it I found out that their Rchain and Special K technology does not really work. Their whole ICO that raised a lot of bitcoins was based on the premise that Rchain will be more advanced than the blockchains we have now. If that is not working what will they use now?

That is why they have split I believe because I think Greg didn't delivered his promises.

Hence the price dropped, but I believe this is just a temporary setback, they'll figure it out. It's been here for 2 years, they even have the alpha version, just check the youtube channel to see.

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU5CBbxAeFYnodf32w3ahOQ

Maybe they can use BTC, ETH or Storj, to store the data. Who knows, but I don't really worry about that. I have faith that they will find the best solution, they are professionals after all.

The alpha version is nothing. It is only a website and who knows what database it is running on. They promised that they will deliver the most advanced form of blockchain called Rchain and they also marketed Special K to go along with it. They raised millions but what did you get? Nothing.
