We should let this thread die.  Op is not checking it:Last Active: May 02, 2015, 06:13:08 PM

So providing info for him is not going to do a lot of good.
10162  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining Software on: May 04, 2015, 07:25:27 AM
I would look at  M's Miner (Ant/SP) Monitor v5.2: - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596178.0

It will not contain a virus, and is well known.   So that is a plus.
10163  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC and invoice on: May 04, 2015, 07:23:40 AM
If anybody/company knows of/is willing to sell me with lower invoice, please do let me know. I am sure other people would want that too.

You will not find a legit company to make a false invoice.    It is not really a good option.

If you find someone who does it you know they are willing to break laws, so not necessary the best person to deal with.
10164  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: May 04, 2015, 06:16:48 AM
It's signature campaign day again.  I highly suggest people try out a signature campaign.

If done properly you are getting paid for something you would do anyways.  So it's a win/win.
10165  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Am I too Late?! on: May 04, 2015, 06:15:18 AM
well... You may need a computer like this one:

This is the scale of mining today. Since it's like a lottery system it is theoretically possible to still mine with a home computer. The odds however are dismal. It will likely take hundreds or thousands of years to find a block.

really since the Chinese mega-mines it's go big or go home.

"Since it's like a lottery system"... you could be better of in a casino, because some games offer much better odds.  Smiley

I'm not a huge fan of lottery system.  You can still mine profitable but it takes mining smart.

It is no longer 3 month ROI.  You will need no import tax, and low electricity.  If you have this you can compete and pull a profit.
10166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC and invoice on: May 04, 2015, 06:12:26 AM
For the past entire weekend I researched on the subject but didn't have much success. I live in Brazil and import tax is 65% + 18% state tax + 6% VAT + wrong usd conversion + courier fees + government will overtax, meaning it will raise the value based on tax regardless of being changed or not. They will just assume everyone does so.
All in all, import tax wouldn't be less than 120%, at minimum. Meaning I buy a miner for me and luckly one miner and half for my corrupt government. If you were unsatisfied with your 15% import tax, guess how do I feel with my tax.

Look into hosting centers without the taxes.  With that amount of taxes it kills any chance of ROI.

I love to have asics by me and able to play with but with tax like that it's just not going to be possible.  There are lots of hosting centers with no import tax.
10167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asic or GPU or CPU or HDD on: May 04, 2015, 06:09:30 AM
Sadly GPU/CPU mining is dead for most.  Even if making a small profit you will not pay for equipment used during it.   Most lose money doing it.  And a laptop is horrible for high intensity.

Look into asics they really are only option currently.
10168  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: May 04, 2015, 05:54:02 AM
Main post says slots still available. When you do the signature and try to load the bit-x page that tells your earnings, it says "No slots avaible now , try again later."

Edit: just saw where it says enrollments are closed. Sending a PM.

you can read in OP

"Highly active/known members may still apply through PM, I will then review your application"

all other are fired...

It's in between campaigns.   Macro is hard at work on new campaign.  But until it opens it is only highly active members.  I would not word it as you did.  High activity members are harder to get is why i suspect it is still possible for them.

I'm not sure exact day but I expect new campaign in less then two weeks.

As I have another machine and working in the same pool and is perfect , I would like to update the firmware but I need to help me with that because I read that is delicate, please help with the step by step process. Thank you.

How did it work out?  Is it working now?

Best of luck.
10170  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: how to install 50 miner ? on: May 04, 2015, 05:33:26 AM
He is probably trolling. Repeating same questions. Don't keep feeding...

I thought so to but he never get's banned.  So makes me wonder.   I feel like I'm  missing something that he must be legit if mods keep doing nothing.
10171  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: how to install 50 miner ? on: May 04, 2015, 05:26:56 AM

Pretty amazing on how slow hash rate is moving at this point.

Seems like were at a pretty slow move on hashrate.

This shows it for S5.  Very similar procedure for S4.  I  REPEAT ITS SHOWING FOR S5 do not use firmware told is guide.

S4 firmware can be found here - https://www.bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=00720140930114518599JXGHWWD80660

If you are extremely paranoid I can give you directions to back up the sd card in it if you want.

10175  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why is Discus Fish so popular? on: May 03, 2015, 11:10:13 PM
Antpool and f2pool are tied right now - https://blockchain.info/pools

I think my prediction of antpool taking no 1 spot is going to be right.
10176  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much money a faucet can earn everyday ? on: May 03, 2015, 11:02:27 PM
It's good to get a grasp of how stuff works with micro-transactions (a few cent, just a bit over transaction fees) before you throw in 'full' dollar-amounts... When I was using faucets I made a few cent a day - but after all I could have used the time more effective otherwise then solving captcha-codes and stuff.

Before, I really did not think to make money from a faucet is so difficult, it requires multiple skills needed , as well as to have the experience to

manage it effectively. Maybe you have good skill so you can solve it in a simple way. Congratz you !

and I still have to learn a lot before doing it.

Thanks for your help !

One thing no one has mentioned is you need good security.  If your faucet has a weakness it will not be good.

It's sad but websites that are known to have BTC stored for them are targets.   So if it's not secure one "bad guy" could take what ever btc in your hot wallet running for faucet.

I would be paranoid personally funding it maybe a day or so at a time.
10177  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Summer Mining - Fans/Other summer equipment on: May 03, 2015, 10:58:55 PM
I do have humidity so it makes evaporation and some options not near as effective.

I'm stuck with humidity as well.  I'm going to give one of these a try:

https://www.globalindustrial.com/p/hvac/fans/blower/portable-ventilation-fan-8-inch-with-16-feet-flexible-ducting

Got my miners in crawlspace under the house that you can walk in for the most part.  It has a number of foundation vents and I plan to vent the flexible duct out of one of the foundation vents, which will hopefully draw in an adequate amount of air from the rest of the foundation vents.  I might try to build a shroud to capture the miner exhaust into the blower.

I'm currently looking at a few options.  One is upgrading the gable fan.... but it's pricy for what I want.  It was meant  for contractors with around 3000 CFM from gable fan.

But even if I get that I think it's to far away to get all the heat.  Its just a massive massive room.  So I'm taking it slow seeing what I can do.
10178  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Am I too Late?! on: May 03, 2015, 10:55:58 PM
having free eletricity  is a no brainer. it would be automatic for me to mine ,if i get the juice for free.  just find out what the limit is  so  they dont cut ur gravy train off. dont get ripped off for the gear tho , it will just counter the free juice.

The problem is very few have "free" electricity.  Most parents or someone is footing the bill.  There are some apartments that have electricity included, only one I have ever had that had "free" electricity was student living, it had a max cap of 25 dollars extra.

If electricity is included in a normal apartment landlord will not be happy/chances are catch on after a few k watts of gear.
10179  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: May 03, 2015, 10:53:48 PM
hello I have a problem buying a miner and has used s4 problem. connect and configure the pool , it starts working perfectly but at a good speed but after five minutes decreser begins to speed up to 0 gh / s which makes it in a time of 40 minutes. ara need help solve this problem. Thanks ...

Did you just get miner?    I wold ask who you got it from if it was doing that.

First I would try a different pool just to make sure it's not the pool.  After that I would try to update firmware (caution firmware updates have risks).

And if that does nothing I would start to look at the PSU.
10180  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much money a faucet can earn everyday ? on: May 03, 2015, 09:47:46 PM
If you're not gonna be like "freebitco.in" or "satoshicity.org" or "alienfaucet" or "moonbitco.in" etc
Then you're not gonna make much. And those faucets are paying 3 BTC+ everyweek. Do you have enough funds to do it?

You would have to fund it yourself and most likely lose money at first.  Getting advertising, and profit is not going to be easy.

Those who have done it and are making big profits likely will not be sharing their secrets, or what works best.
