No internet, no bitcoin so its impossible to use bitcoin like an offline currency. If you want to use bitcoin or earn bitcoin, then you must go to a place with internet connection to have access with it.

I don't think digital currency will ever replace paper money. Maybe digital and paper money will be used by the people but to replace is impossible. Its hard to think that we are in the digital era right now but some places around the world doesn't have any access to internet or any gadgets. Nobody knows who is the creator of bitcoin. The only thing we know is that person or government is named as satoshi nakamoto with an anonymous profile and just disappeared. If satoshi is alive at this moment, maybe some of us see him but don't know that that is the creator of bitcoin or some have talked to the creator but we don't know that he/she is the creator.
