10161  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: October 07, 2016, 05:56:23 AM
You can encourage local businesses only by showing them what are the benefits of bitcoin and how simple it is to use it.
For this we would probably need a stable price first because why would they want to adopt in it's current state.

Its not that easy. I have tried it myself with the most professional methods possible. The people just laughed at me and said "Sir, do you have anything to buy at all?" "We are not interested in this ponzi scheme so go away with you fake information" Angry Angry

They even started joking that I need to see a doctor to check my brain. Grin Grin

It will take several more years to get adopted properly.
Well, that was very rude, but at the end of the day it’s their loss, not yours keep yourself on the forum and keep learning and obtaining bitcoin and at the end of the day you will be laughing all the way to the bank, oh wait, with bitcoin we are our own banks and we don’t need them. LOL. Tongue

It's their loss?? Are you crazy?? They have succesfully maintain and getting profits out of their business and you think that is their loss if they accept bitcoin??

What do you think of business owners if they will accept bitcoin, they will saved it? Wrong! They will rotate and circulate it to use to buy again some products to be sold.

I suggest you read the messages before posting any new post. If you read my earlier message I explained how the owners laughed at me when I tried to teach them and make them aware about bitcoin.

Instead they started joking at my words and thought that I was trying to promote some scam and kicked me out - wxa7115 pointed out that this was rude of them and that the "owners" are at a loss SINCE they were not ready to accept bitcoin

I guess you did not read the messages properly and that is why you got the message all wrong
10162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple Pay vs Bitcoins on: October 06, 2016, 08:11:32 PM
Oh well, none of these two methods have yet been implemented in my country shops/stores  Grin Grin

Never heard of Apple Pay (moreover I dont like Apple products - too costly) but I have heard of bitcoin and hence I am willing to use that method.
However payment gateways available in my country can transact within 2 minutes with all said procedures as long as the internet is fast enough.

Bitcoin can also transact faster with high mining fees. However this is not worth it since you are wasting money.
So technically bitcoin does not stand any chance. However people still use it and the reason is that people trust it more than others - though in my country its not very popular.
10163  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Shamanscoin.com - New Faucet Game | +100M Payout Satoshi on: October 06, 2016, 01:28:29 PM
Thank you Admin, its working today Grin

here is nothing wiorking i get sincce weeks this message
Code:
Error
Something is wrong.
his is scam !!! be areware here !!!

They top up their website hot wallets every three to four days. Make sure to check them every 5 or 6 hours so that you dont miss them because the wallets get drained very quickly since everyone is waiting to withdraw and its a race against time. IF you miss it you have to wait till they top up the wallets again.

As far as I am concerned they are not scam and I suggest you to please check every possible evidence before you post such messages.

People in this forum have this habit of wailing scam every time they see non-payment and do not bother to talk to others about issues and start posting scam accusations everywhere on the forum.
10164  Economy / Services / Re: Komodo Signature and Avatar Campaign | Member - Legendary on: October 06, 2016, 11:39:37 AM
I have joined this campaign last week or something. Just need someone to clear out some points:

There is a prefixed rate of payment - how exactly are you people going to pay us without paying every week? Are you going to send the money in bulk counting all the number of posts and the number of weeks we participate?

Thanks for your time
10165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: October 06, 2016, 11:26:30 AM
I dont get anything after i read the article, the only advise i got was control your emotion, and to be honest i dont think gambling can be profitable, it just made for people to have fun, if you try to make profit from gambling usually you are going to lose more

Exactly, people should not get addicted to gambling and wager all their money on it. Gambling was never meant to be profitable it was meant to make you poor - otherwise what will the owners earn Grin Grin

Though many people in this forum claim to be rich from gambling but I am highly suspicious of their words. Tongue Tongue

10166  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: October 06, 2016, 11:22:47 AM
Well the last few weeks the price has been stable but the popularity has not decreased even a bit Cool

Its not the price that matters. People like the advantages offered by bitcoin and prefer to use it. That is why it is so popular and not that people just trade on it because of its price. Trading is one factor but not the only factor.
10167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 06, 2016, 11:19:17 AM
If you can hold the coins for several years 10+ then it my give profits. However its better to collect more if not buy more. Its possible to collect from signature campaigns and trading here. Overall importance to building your stash and then sell it once you have generated enough profits.
10168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: October 06, 2016, 11:14:23 AM
I think bitcoin could help poor countries most likely cause bitcoin has made alot of new jobs if you look at it from another perspective.
Creating jobs is what helps alot of countries so yes i think it has the potential to help.

Creating jobs is one thing and financial stability is another thing. The revenue the company earns should be enough to supply the employees and the future development. That is more easier done on fiat simply because it is accepted everywhere. Its difficult for bitcoin to take that position but it can happen if and only if the governments start to adopt it properly.

10170  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: October 06, 2016, 11:08:18 AM
I have read alot of the ways to make bitcoin on this thread but my favourite ones remain trading and forum signature campaigns.
Forum signature campaigns are so easy to set up and simple to maintain even for bitcoin beginners!

Signature Campaigns are not easy for beginners. Period

They need to learn how to make proper quality posts with 120+ characters minimum and make sure they dont spam the forum. This is a reason why newbies are not allowed to join signature campaigns or even if they do they have a very low rate.
10171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: October 05, 2016, 04:35:48 PM
Becoming a long term winner and not a long term loser is hard enough to be so good at one of the casino games in order to become wealthy is very difficult, not impossible, but very difficult, the only ones that I see can claim that are famous poker players.

Most of the people I know are actually long term losers and tend to simply boast about their winnings and hide their losses. They like to show that they can beat the casino, LMAO because that never happens due to house edge. But in a more rude way they are simply broke people and big liars.

I really doubt those why claim to be rich from gambling claiming to know some secret method to beat the casino.
10172  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long you in bitcoin world? on: October 05, 2016, 04:27:58 PM
I had known it since 2009 but was never really interested in it since recently when prices started to skyrocket. Previously I never believed it to be a type of currency let alone a safe one and thought that it was just a ponzi scheme type of technique.
10173  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 05, 2016, 04:25:29 PM
Simply put, this is just too risky at this time, although don't get me wrong. There are innovations and jobs that can be created in the Bitcoin space, that COULD become your full time job.

However I believe that this would take at least another decade considering the rate at which bitcoin is being accepted in Developing and Under-Developed countries. Still in my city maybe only a handful people know about the currency. Moreover people cant easily trust some cyberpunk coin which floats in thin air. So in my perspective it is good enough for a secondary earning but not a primary earning.
10174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You accidentally find Satoshi.....What would you do? on: October 04, 2016, 01:06:25 PM
I would look at him, then look around myself, then say no this is not Satoshi - this is just another fake person claiming to be Satoshi. Grin

Actually Satoshi will never be found - ironically this is the nature of bitcoin's anonymity - since he also wanted to remain anonymous forever.
10175  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: October 04, 2016, 09:07:09 AM
Saving money is one of the most important things for in the future off course if we are not saving money for the future there will no tbe a good future off course.

I agree but if you only save money then what will you spend?

Because you have you daily expenditures. You should keep a balance between the two and then make a list of all expenses and the average spend money on those expenses. Then find out how much percentage of your earning that expenditure is. Then you will be able to see your savings and how much you need save without hampering your daily needed expenditure.
10176  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: October 03, 2016, 08:17:46 PM
As a long term investment it is worth it and hence I do suggest it. Make sure to buy it when the price is low and then sell it after 10 years when the price goes to the moon. Grin Grin

But seriously its good since you can make a profit here. However it will take several years to reap a large profit.
10177  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: October 03, 2016, 08:15:37 PM
This will not be happening anytime soon. It can happen in the next 20 years. But if the price really skyrockets, I will sell a large volume since I will be in a profit.
10178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: October 03, 2016, 08:13:38 PM
You can try to invest in a mining rig if that is profitable to you and the place you live in. Try mining altcoins and then trade them for bitcoin/fiat and then grab the profit.
Also you can invest some in affiliate marketing for spreading your referral links - its worth a try.
You can also try investing in casino bankrolls which is again very risky but good in the long term.

10179  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you suddenly lost all of your bitcoins? on: October 03, 2016, 08:09:44 PM
I would be very angry indeed. I would try to hunt down the cause as well. One big problem of bitcoin is the irreversibility of transaction.

If a hacker manages to steal my coins and even if I can track him down, it cant really get the coins back. Instead what I would do is beat his sorry rear and make him suffer Grin Grin
10180  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: October 02, 2016, 04:14:22 PM
Not at physical shops, because there aren't any in my area, but I've used Bitcoin to buy digital items like domain names and premium accounts at file hosting websites.

Maximum of shops/stores dont accept bitcoin in my country, though many have been built but I dont trust them at this stage. However online merchants are accepting it and hence thats all I can buy with bitcoin. I also sell bitcoin for fiat from my local market.
