Ha, I think this thread should be moved to speculation. 'Experts' or not, at least they admit it's virtually unpredictable so it's redundant really (as speculating on the price always is).

Not really. Each government will have their own ways of dealing and regulating it. Most will just tax it when you exchange it for fiat cash and/or buy things with it and take their cut that way.

Oh, one other thing, if you do use blockchain.info make sure to set up all the security features. Use 2-factor authentification and set up a second password which is needed to actually spend your funds. Always back up your wallet.dat file no matter what wallet/client you're using as well.

Whatever it is I'm sure it's dust. I've never seen any of these type of sites pay out anything even remotely worthwhile, and people usually realise this pretty fast once they start using them. Your time will be better spent earning elsewhere.

In the op it says there is no rollover so you must do 50 posts or you won't get paid. It shouldn't be that difficult to do 50 in a month. Pretty much all deals have this minimum requirement but you can roll them over on some like PrimeDice.

Stunna's on the trusted list though so his feedback currently weighs more and gives people a (+1) score, but each to his own. I'm sure most people appreciate the feedback regardless.

They're usually different wallets, however, with a site like blockchain.info you can have all three; an online wallet and also synch it up to be a mobile wallet. It also gives you the option of saving your wallet.dat file, so even if the site goes down you can recover or spend your funds on a desktop wallet. You can actually synch your wallet file on any other client.
No, blockchain.info is not an 'official' site. There aren't any 'official' sites as it's a decentralised network. It is very safe though.

Fair enough, but clearly you have misunderstood what I said. I wasn't arguing about the fairness of the membergroup signature restrictions. And they weren't even in place when I signed up to this forum. They were only implemented around 3 months or so ago. How come Hero or Snr Members can only reserve places? If everyone can't reserve a place it's not fair really. It should be first come first served though. Many people who reserve might just find another deal or never sign up and that takes a place from someone else.
Edit: Is the max participants 30 total? I guess you're wanting more higher members to join?
It's fair by the rulles of bitcointalk. Then by that logic scamming is fair by the rules, but it doesn't make it right. That Senior and Hero Members get preferential treatment isn't really surprising, or something new for that matter; we all know their rates per post are far higher than other members for example. You can argue it isn't right and that any other member can do just about as much as they can despite the limitations, but at the end of the day it's the campaign owner's decision. And they obviously want those ranks over any other to join. Besides that, I think you're right in pointing out that people who reserve the spot might not take it; both UpDown and PD have announced in the last few days coming changes to their pay structure, so there is a possibility that many of these reserves will probably never be filled anyway. Well, they get higher rates because their sig is more visible, but they also tend to make less posts, so I think in terms of advertising they will even out so IMO it should be evenly split. And on the second part yeah, this is exactly it. I'm sure a few users will reserve places just to keep their options open if one of the other deals doesn't come through with improved rates etc.

What terms did they violate with the report exactly? I wonder if Karpeles complained? He should know better that doing this won't stop the information being spread.
Please stop accusing me for every damn problem. I have nothing to do with Mt. Gox anymore. I have sold it to Brock Pierce. Haha. Selling it won't get rid of any legal issues. And what was wrong with "your" MagicaTux account? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

it's very odd that it would get taken down for a terms of service violation. has anyone speculated as to what the breach may have been? i racked my brain a bit, and i'm really coming up empty. it's true...why would they possibly care? or... dun dun dun -- who would have pressured them?
If they got a cease and desist from somebody's lawyer they might've just complied with it without looking into whether it actually violated any terms or not. I would like to know what it apparently violated though.

Define sensor-free and free-speech? Just because you may feel like you have free speech here doesn't mean everyone else has. Whilst this forum is pretty liberal and lax in punishing or restricting certain members and you can largely say and do what you want to a certain extent, they certainly do punish/restrict people they constitue as spammers (and occasionally disruptive trolls etc), and they also delete posts and threads and ban users. I'm not sure if free speech truly exists anywhere really. There's always going to be something you can't say or do. Is unlimited free speech even always a good idea? I think without some groundrules set in place it will obviously just lead to chaos, so sometimes an authority has to step in (but should do so minimally like they at least attempt to do here).

It's fair by the rulles of bitcointalk. Then by that logic scamming is fair by the rules, but it doesn't make it right. Omg, what are you talking about? You agreed with the rules of bitcointalk when you registered with them. A scam is exactly the oposite, when someone doesn't respect the rules that were set in the begining of an agreement. You seem to be very confused about what scam means. Omg, what are you talking about? What are these rules and how do they relate to reserving places in this thread? And I know perfectly well what a scam is. I don't see how you're confused here.

If it's not too much extra work for you I'd suggest sticking with weekly payments. A month is still a long time to wait and I'm sure people will still be wondering if they're going to get paid out continually at the end of the month (though I'm not doubting you will). Paying weekly is a massive draw/advantage and Stunna/PD also said they were considering doing weekly payouts for the next term. Whoever does pay out continually weekly will definitely have an edge over others regardless of rates.

I'm aware of where the individual threads should go and they're already in the correct/respective subforums, but just unsure where the thread collection of them all should be put, but I'm sure you're probably right about the mods not having a heart-attack though haha. And yeah, that's the idea: one simple link in my signature advertising a few of the things for sale and people can click on it if they're interested and have access to all the stuff I'm selling. You'd never have to bump your own threads then as well as there's a constant advert everytime you post.

I agree partly. I don't think it'll see a rise in scammers taking advantage as once people read the feedback they can use their brains to realise they still shouldn't be considered trustworthy. But saying that, I would rather the trust/feedback be earned other ways. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be rewarded with feedback and I'd like to build up my own big green score like yours eventually and this feedback will certainly help, but I wouldn't expect it from sig operators just for partaking in a deal. I think it kinda devalues the meaning of it if you dish it out to everyone just for participating. Maybe giving it to top quality posters with no spam posts etc would then give it more weight, but only if it was only given to a select few etc.

Wasn't it bitpay that won't deal with certain adult content as well? Payment processors will be a big part of Bitcoin growth, but merchants don't necessarily need to use them. Would be nice to see some merchants holding a bit of their wealth in BTC, though I know some won't be able to take the risk.
