10181  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: android multi-coin wallet with trezor on: May 14, 2019, 08:24:56 PM
How do I enable webusb?
Just follow the instructions on the page he linked... plug the Trezor and go to the website with Chrome.

You can do that on Photoshop.

Search “How to edit a gif on Photoshop” on YouTube.
10183  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: May 14, 2019, 03:38:09 PM
the silence from chipmixer is starting to make me think im being scammed for my money
 Huh
Did you really send them an email at chipmixer@protonmail.com? The last time they have been active in here was 2 days ago, so I doubt they would take thet long to answer you.

About the possibility of scamming... I doubt that what you sent would even be worth for them to exit scam with how much they spent in ads and their signature campaign.

Let’s not forget this:
Received - Thank you

thanks everyone for your help

apologies for calling you a scammer Chipmixer admin - deleting comments

ISSUE SOLVED

Also, why didn’t you extend your session expiration time?
10184  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Fee: 14 Dollar for 0,075 BTC transaction! on: May 14, 2019, 02:43:49 PM
The problem is: I dont know how to configure it on ledger chrome bitcoin wallet app. I can choose between high , middle and low speed and custom fees. What shall I typi in custom fees field to sink the price?
Don’t use the Chrome app. These are outdated.

Download the new Ledger Live wallet on the Ledger website. It gives you a suggested fee based on how fast you want the tx to go through (if you’re in a hurry or wants to save some money), you can use the website linked above to get some close numbers.
10185  Other / Meta / Re: The new forum, Why not smf2? on: May 14, 2019, 12:47:41 PM
Now that we spent millions on the new software and it is pretty much done? It’s not going to happen.
10186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Talk Platfrom on: May 14, 2019, 10:42:53 AM
What kind of stats were there? I never saw it working. When I joined the forum that page was already disabled
That’s how it looked like: http://archive.is/wxRDq

I miss them. I’m curious about where I post the most.
10187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Talk Platfrom on: May 14, 2019, 10:03:40 AM
It has been disabled in the whole forum because it was being used for DDoS attacks. No public plans to enable it again at any time soon.
10188  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Paid from Electrum to Coinbase Processor shows paid but money never showed on: May 14, 2019, 08:52:44 AM
Which service is that? Tell them to check their Coinbase account for any late payment. If they are legit, they will see that they received the coins and will either refund you or proceed with the purchase.

If it got confirmed on Coinbase’s payment gate, then they have the coins. They just need to check it.

They removed that option AFTER you sent them the payment?
Or did you take note of their receiving address days/weeks before and after you sent the payment you realised that paying with Bitcoin is no longer possible?
Coinbase has a time countdown for payments. There is no way he took days to mate the tx.

This moron cheater elecfrum bc1qcla39fm0q8ka8th8ttpq0yxla30r430m4hgu3x steals money from the wallet, he will return them back to us !!!!!!!

Sorry for your lost, but I sincerely doubt he would ever return your coins.

Make verifying your Electrum signature a habit. This way you can always make sure the files you download are legit. See this: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/
10190  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Didn't receive withdrawal in Electrum wallet on: May 13, 2019, 10:42:21 PM
OP: try opening your Electrum wallet file directly into ElectrumSV instead of import the seed or private-key into a new wallet file.

Just click “Open”, go to %appdata%/Electrum/wallets and select your wallet file.
10191  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 13, 2019, 09:59:41 PM
Three question:
- Why do we need the Like button?
I believe it would be some kind of “simpler” merit. Like posts you agree/like, think it’s funny, etc.. not necessarily HQ posts but not spam.

Quote
- What are differences between Like button and Merit button?
If 10 likes = 1 merit (I wouldn’t agree with giving merit for likes if they’re unlimited/free for everyone), then likes are a lighter kind of reward or way to show that you agree with the post.

Quote
- Is the Like Button easier to abuse than Merit Button?
If it’s unlimited or we give to everybody and they can turn into merit, then yes. Anything that can be used by multi-accounts can easily be abused.

Quote
Personally, the Like button purpose is the same as Merit button, but it is easier to abuse, so I don't support the idea.

Your proposal is very simple and effective.
I think some similar proposal must have been considered by Theymos, but not put in production in the end.
So you are not proposing a improvement, but only supporting a previously discarded inferior option.
Yeah, that was the first idea given by a few members before the merit system. There is no way theymos is going to add a like system when the merit system is already out.
10192  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: May 13, 2019, 09:19:11 PM
-snip-
Bitcoin’s rate is constantly changing. Always try focusing in the amount in BTC instead of USD. One second 1 BTC could be at $7900 and the other at $7800. The extra $1 was the fee.
10193  Other / Meta / Re: Help restore justice and remove the permanent ban, please on: May 13, 2019, 09:00:52 PM
Your bans on the forum, it's like that child (and all of us in the beginning were like children on the forum), who made the mistake will be killed you. And you will smile at him for a year, and then you will kill him arrogantly, with a smile on your face. For old sins. And those who are responsible in a meta mood to laugh, not to appeal. Have you never made a mistake? I'd like to get better, but you won't give me a chance. Sadly.
In any top university around the world plagiarism will get you expelled. Why would this be different here? You got expelled from the forum. No one is killing anybody here. Cheesy

Plagiarism is wrong everywhere. There is a huge difference between making an unintentional mistake and stealing content. You knew that what you were doing was wrong.
10194  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum download page showing old version on: May 13, 2019, 07:26:35 PM
Try this: https://download.electrum.org/3.3.5/

Make sure to verify your Electrum file signature: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/
10195  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: View multiple Trezor accounts in Electrum? on: May 13, 2019, 04:23:29 PM
So, another question; Can I use the same method to create multiple accounts using a single seed phrase generated by Electrum?
Yes.

Trezor web wallet I think only allows 10 accts. If you enable passphrase, would that give you ten accts per phrase? And does electrum recognize passphrase?
I’m not sure if Electrum supports this when using a Trezor (I’ve never tried). But I know you can do this when importing a seed directly into it by clicking the “Options” button and checking “Extend this seed with custom words”, then inputing the password in the next step.
10196  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Fog: Secure Bitcoin Anonymization on: May 13, 2019, 01:44:00 PM
Can’t you all just stop using Bitcoin Fog? Like, really... there are so many scam accusations and complains against them, along with the fact that they are not active anywhere, that I’m perplexed with how many people keep using then when there are so many trusted mixers out there.

It’s your money people. Why are you risking it with a shady mixer like this??
10197  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transaction Error (The server returned an error) on: May 13, 2019, 01:12:30 PM
What are local inputs ? I am not familiar with this expression regarding electrum.
Transactions that you can create and save on your wallet to be broadcasted later. He already had used the inputs on the Local transaction (only on Electrum, since they haven’t been broadcast ) and was trying to make another one with the same inputs.
10198  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is there any interest for a new wallet that has a time-lock feature? on: May 13, 2019, 10:56:54 AM
- unlock after a certain condition: (not time) when the price rise up to 10000$, unlock my coins>
 - unlock after 1 week from the last spend>
 - unlock after 2 months after spending 50% of total balance>
IIRC, all of that would require a third party to mediate if the conditions have happened. All someone can do directly from the Bitcoin protocol is set a timelock to only be able to spend the coins after X time or X blocks.

I’ve done that before and locked my coins for a few months because I had weak hands. Tongue

You can do it with Coinb.in
10199  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Fake Trezor App on Google Play Store on: May 12, 2019, 11:08:12 PM
You can help by reporting the app so that it is removed more quickly.

10200  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: View multiple Trezor accounts in Electrum? on: May 12, 2019, 09:56:34 PM
Setup your wallet on Electrum as you normally would (Standard Wallet -> Use a hardware wallet) and when it comes to the part where you select the script type and derivation path, change the last digit of the derivation path to the number of your wallet.

Eg:

Quote
m/49'/0'/0' (first account)
m/49'/0'/1' (second account)
m/49'/0'/2' (third account)
