1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: TIME TO BUY on: December 28, 2014, 11:34:18 PM
Smoothie is an early adopter. Unlike you he didn't sell out early and regret it. I doubt he is holding anything other than a large profit.

Only if he's not a permabull & sold for fiat.  Remember the "you haven't lost if you didn't sell" nonsense spouted 'round these parts?  Well, the converse holds true too:  You haven't profited if you didn't sell.

As far as regrets go, I could buy back just hair less then DOUBLE the coin I sold with the money I made by selling it.

Lol, silly. Can you forsee the future?

Breaking $300 seems inevitable at this point, but at this rate, we may have a short squeeze first.

Another random opinion. Thanks for sharing.

From http://www.investopedia.com/articles/analyst/030102.asp

S&D players clutter message boards, so optimistic information cannot easily be found. "Get out before it all comes crashing down" and "Investors who wish to enter a class action lawsuit can contact…" are typical posts, as are their projections of $0 stock prices and 100% losses. If their strategy is suspected by "longs", they attack the person who has caught them. In other words, the market manipulator will do everything in his or her power to keep buyers out of the stock and keep the price heading south.

Sounds familiar?

sometimes I wonder if anyone of these BTCfanboys
can math?

How many new coins per day?

When does the next Half occur?
Then is the Half after that?
Do you know the dates?

Now math how much capital needs to flow IN each and every day.

In what year will BTC mint less than 500 coins per day?

Advice ...
Buy a mature coin as a hedge at the very least
clue:UNO

If bitcoin can't deal with 10% yearly inflation it's not worth it. No go buy some PayCoin lol

Better go all in now NLC or you will be the only sad fuck who lost money in a market that is up +2375.68% in two years.

1032  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: December 18, 2014, 01:44:34 PM
< 270$ ist sehr unwahrscheinlich
< 100$ ist Träumerei

Ripple sounds like such a shitty currency that it makes me want to go on their forums and spend all day telling them how much I think they are wrong for using it.

Then again, that would be such a waste of my life and I would have to be the biggest loser in the world to go on the forum of a currency I do not like and post on and on about how people should not be using that currency.

That would be about the stupidest thing someone could do. Such a waste of life. How much of a loser would you have to be to do something like that.

No, I will leave the Ripple users to their lives. If they like it, it's all them.

Best troll trolling ever, much respect.

What are guesses about the state of the Active Swaps on Bitfinex?
I don't think this usual 5<x<10 USD/BTC asymmetry would be manageable in times like these if USD swaps were >>50% spent on >2:1 leverage ratios.

Doesn't matter. Bfx is selling it's virtual coins by making use of Fractional Reserve.

This thread is pure comedy and drama at once. Lovin' it.

You bought way to early. Bitcoin going to double digits next year.

Should I start mining Ripple? How much of it was pre-mined? I'm not going to consider it if over 10% was pre-mined.

100%

Ahh nice, so 100% was not pre-mined?

It's not even mined. It made out of thin air like fiat.

Correct but its math based and the 100 billion created at start is all that will be made.  Also, XRP's are destroyed with every transaction so people think of that as its own way of mining...
first there was 50Billion XRP, then one day poeple woke up and found that there was 100Billion XRP.

because magic.

Yes, plus the story with Jed and so on.
