1021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CAMPSIS IS A SCAMMER on: July 19, 2014, 08:10:56 PM
I just lost .5 BTC to a trader who had a posting history which made him seem trustworthy. I'm assuming his account has been taken over by somebody else but do not trade with him. I can't get my BTC back but I can prevent others from falling into the same trap.

Here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=316732

Post the TxID.
1022  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed my AnthonyCares on: July 19, 2014, 05:32:47 AM
You blocked my paypal acct don't be stupid.

Dipshit, post the TxID where you sent him BTC that you claim he charged back on.
1023  Economy / Lending / Re: Major New BTC Project needs BTC Loans on: July 19, 2014, 04:44:35 AM
Just buy your own Bitcoins then, if you have no need to borrow. This belongs in the Currency Exchange section.
1024  Economy / Lending / Re: No Collateral Needed - Up to 1 Month loans! FAST on: July 18, 2014, 11:22:59 PM
I'd like to go on record as stating that the OP is officially an idiot.
1025  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: NEED BTC AND I WILL PAY BY BANK TRANSFER on: July 18, 2014, 11:12:59 PM
In the US, bank transfers can be recalled up to 72 hours after the funds are sent. Not sure how it works in other countries though... seller beware.
1026  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Named: SeniorMember targeting buyers. on: July 16, 2014, 11:11:37 PM
I believe Kenneth Bell and Marcus Walls are two separate persons. Both of which happen to be scammers though.
1027  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Named: SeniorMember targeting buyers. on: July 16, 2014, 05:59:39 PM
That's a known scammer, Marcus Walls, of Lenexa, KS. You will not receive your goods.
1028  Economy / Lending / Re: Debt refinance loan on BTCJam on: July 14, 2014, 09:26:59 PM
For those who labeled me a scammer (and threw on my negative rating), I'd just like to point out that I paid off the loan today.

That is all.

Thank you for the followup. I'm sure if you PM the ones who left you negative feedback, with a link to the loan page demonstrating that you have successfully paid back, they'd be more than happy to reevaluate your rating Smiley

What a waste of a 2013 account.

0. Newbies, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH OTHER NEWBIES, EVER.[/b] There are plenty of veteran members to do business with and ALWAYS use escrow. If you're a newbie and you're doing business with another newbie, there's a 100% chance that you will get scammed (or you're a scammer yourself).
1. New account (usually created within the last 3 months, plus or minus)
2. Low-medium message count with vapid posts of little to no contributory value
3. Use of a seemingly realistic first/last name as their forum account name
4. Signs posts with full name
5. Straight out of Newbie mode right into Lending (requesting a loan of course)
6. Straight out of Newbie mode right into Currency Exchange (PayPal, Liberty Reserve, Western Union)
7. Straight out of Newbie mode and selling gift cards/codes/Steam games of any kind
(they'll often be purchased with stolen CC info, leaving you holding the bag later on down the road)
8. Any user blatantly claiming to be female
9. New user trying to sell an Apple iAnything
10. Sob stories asking for handouts
11. Never send to a Bitmerch.com address for escrow!!!
12. Scammers will try to scam you out of amounts as little as BTC.001 or even less. Do not think that just because the requested amount is trivial that it's any more legit than a 1000 BTC loan request.
13. Any user who tries to get you to use escrow through Escrow.com is a scammer, PERIOD.

1. Check
2. Check
3. Check
4. Check
10. Check

Exhibiting any one of the typical scammer characteristics is enough to raise a red flag, and you've managed to nail 5 of them. I'm not saying you're a scammer, but without collateral, you could just take the money and walk away and what would you lose? A generic forum account name that took all of 3 clicks to make?
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every Song About Bitcoin, Reviewed on: July 03, 2014, 05:08:17 PM
You gotta be fucking kidding me. YTCracker's song is the BEST one out there yet they rated it "Satoshitty"? Seriously? The other ones suck balls compared to YT's.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin transactions are so slow and there is a huge risk of double spending on: July 02, 2014, 05:48:19 PM
Transfers are nigh instantaneous. What is your definition of "slow"?

Edit: Nvm, just watched the video Smiley
1033  Economy / Lending / Re: SexyBTC.biz on: June 30, 2014, 04:11:45 AM
SexyBTC, just a word of wisdom from someone who has been down the same path you're going down now: 50% of a sale is better than 100% of nothing. My advice is to just stick with the existing cam networks, which you can easily use as the framework for your web show.
1034  Economy / Lending / Re: SexyBTC.biz on: June 30, 2014, 02:30:19 AM
Yeah this one is a little risky, SexyBTC. Your best bet is to get your feet wet with a revshare network (CamWithHer, MyFreeCams, ImLive, etc) and build up money you need from there. Of course that doesn't really solve your problem of needing initial hardware, but it's probably a more worthwhile pursuit than obtaining a loan here.
1035  Economy / Lending / Re: $250 paypal issue on: June 30, 2014, 02:14:09 AM
Funny how these things always happen to people who just registered on Bitcointalk less than a week ago.
1036  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $4 on: June 30, 2014, 02:10:32 AM
Sent you a PM back. I just need your address and an exact decimal value of BTC (to be assured I pay you enough, depending on which exchange rate the $4 is)

Dude.
1037  Economy / Lending / Re: $1000 loan so I can challenge Randi - $500,000 return on: June 28, 2014, 07:50:52 PM
I want to take on Randi's challenge.  I have defied the laws of physics before, multiple times, I believe I can do it again.
If only you'd stop defying the laws of heterosexuality.
