1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: February 17, 2021, 01:08:01 PM
Yes hold it.Never sell. It is the most talked about coin out there and we Robinhooders are the big whale. In addition Robinhood is creating wallets for us to own our coins. Elon is not stupid. Once it starts up, it will move quickly. You would be stupid to sell.
Elon is not stupid, he hype the market for his personal interest, but for long term, we cannot be sure if he is really holding this coin. Elon take the opportunity to make easy money but we don't know when he will dump and take profit.
Perhaps when Doge was hitting peak prices lately, Elon Musk began liquidating gradually to turn profits into legal money, an investor, an influencer and an easy money opportunity, he will not hold for too long when he understands what is top notch and he has to stop, highly suspicious that Dogecoin has evaporated from his wallet. No matter whether these speculations are correct or not, a trader will know when to take profits, continuing to hold a bubble like the Doge would be very dangerous, the explosion could turn huge profits into a mass bankruptcy
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2021, 12:36:09 PM
Maybe it is because those normal people doesn't have any chance to invest in bitcoin? Meaning they don't have the budget to buy and the thing is that they are afraid to lose because if they lose they can't buy back again, that's what I think the main reason why normal people are having doubt or scared on bitcoin meaning they don't have room to lose when they enter bitcoin. Another thing is that the lack of knowledge that they have because knowledge is power and this power will give you the things that you want, what I am trying to say is that they doesn't have enough knowledge on what bitcoin is.
To invest in bitcoin, the budget we need is never too big, so if we say someone doesn't have enough money to invest, it is unbelievable but you are still right that they have no faith in bitcoin because before the bitcoin market, we can refer to the binary and stock trading platforms, it has created great fear for many people when they overinvest and only received huge losses. But over time, people's views on bitcoin are changing a lot as the assets of old holders are soaring, provoking the curiosity of those around them, perhaps the fear will subside in the near future
1023  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: February 17, 2021, 12:18:06 PM
Fiat money is easy to get and more reliable to accessible. You can easily steal fiat than cryptocurrencies.
Blockchain innovation makes their security more intense to break and criminals would prefer not to waste their time by hacking it.
But if the criminals are smart like a scammer ( who may consider as a criminal ) it can easily misdirect people and stealing their coins.

Indeed, when we talk about criminals attacking banks or robbing money, even trading illegal items, they often do not trust each other between transactions and they always prefer the speed of transactions, cash is always more stimulating, not too many criminals like to waste minutes or even hours getting a transaction confirmation, more than enough time for the police to arrest them. But maybe in the future, criminals may be smarter, apply crypto to optimize anonymity, the government will be more difficult to find but there is no doubt that crypto regulation will become more closed
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will satoshi make a altcoin, giving us a second chance to get rich? on: February 17, 2021, 11:56:53 AM
Seems its possible move, i think being hiding over time will make a developer boring.
If someone can do analysis with Bitcoin whitepaper and can found another new project whitepaper with the same language style, its will be very interesting: o
I think this is precisely why we are not going to see satoshi trying to come back to the market, there are simply too many ways in which the identity of satoshi could be exposed if he decided to make a comeback, will satoshi risk his freedom to try to release another coin? I doubt it, he already did enough for us, he already did enough for the world, now it is up to us to carry bitcoin and this market as a whole to success, it is not going to be easy but no one ever said that it would be.
Yes, with bitcoin's development right now, the arrival of satoshi would probably be very dangerous when he was the source of this asset, a lot of underground forces are desperate to regulate the bitcoin market, the government is no exception, satochi just needs to appear in the light, these forces will force him to delegate control. Besides, I have doubts about the existence of satoshi since he was long gone, the chances of creating another altcoin are very low and it will never be comparable to early products like bitcoin, Bitcoin has proven that it is unique
1025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: February 16, 2021, 11:53:00 AM
Even at a basic level, the promotion of bitcoin is very important. Bitcoin has not been released long ago.  still has high potential. People who are children today will be company managers or economists tomorrow. Maybe they will be president.  It is necessary to teach the technology of the future to future generations.
If bitcoin or crypto is taught for elementary level classes in my opinion it is impossible because elementary level children's minds will not be able to accommodate lessons about bitcoin which I think will be ignored because it is difficult for them to understand.
and what I know is that applying crypto or bitcoin lessons only high schools and universities tend to be easy to understand and will be directly involved, and what we see is the growth of bitcoin that millennials like today because it is taught in high schools and universities which are very easy to understand and in demand by them.
Indeed, elementary is still not the right place to apply knowledge of bitcoin and crypto, only young college students have enough knowledge to understand crypto and bitcoin issues but maybe the instructors need to systematize the knowledge they have when in my country, the instructors are just understanding too little about bitcoin. My brother even said his teacher requested to download mining apps on his phone then recommended it to many others for a commission, this mistake can actually cause data loss and reveal a lot of personal information, which is quite dangerous
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my xrp or wait until $1? on: February 16, 2021, 11:32:53 AM
It depends on your target. If you really believe the price of XRP can reach 1 $ then you just need to be patient waiting for your coins to go up. But, if your not sure the price can reach 1$ then you just should sell it or you will lose your opportunity to sell.
I just want to say that don't let goals and profit volatility affect judgments and problems that exist in the market, here, it means we can have a target with ripple but we should rely on the situation to adjust our target accordingly, patience is a valuable element in trading and holding, but it is not entirely accurate at all times. The ripple's pump has definitely been problematic recently as it goes against the information it provides, which can be a trap for people to jump in, take profit and wait for a reasonable entry price to be done
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: February 16, 2021, 11:14:43 AM
safe if you choose the good ones and you know to keep them within the timeframe you expect.
several altcoins such as eth, xrp, dot, xlm that have been around for a long time have proven that these altcoins are safe to invest in the long term.
It is not quite as secure as you say, we will always have a failure rate no matter which altcoin we are holding because investment is a struggle between individuals, a computation between intelligent brains is based on available information, we can talk about ripple, an altcoin has had a very long life but suddenly received bad news, everything is probably collapsing but manipulators still push ripple up. Altcoins are never safe for investment, even for long-established altcoins but success never lacks of risks, living in safety will never have great profits
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2021, 10:56:22 AM
Its not advisable to invest using a borrowed money. What if something went wrong? (which is possible in crypto since its high volatile) how can you repay your loan? Sure there's a bright future ahead for bitcoin but we cant be certain for how long are we going to wait before we reach an unexpected high price.
And that will give the borrower an interest rate that he/she might not afford to pay if they'll only rely to the profits that the investment through bitcoin they have.

It's really not a good choice and resort for taking loan to invest in bitcoin. But for active businesses, it's a common thing to borrow and let that money used to operate.
I don't think so, you can look at a bank's lending service and evaluate the interest rate on your loans, they have almost calculated carefully from the salary and assets you have, from which, they provide you with the most suitable loan, you will always be able to pay interest every month very easily, the bank and the loan service never force their users to take part in excessive loans, they also fear users fail and their service will lose profits. So, borrowing money to buy bitcoin is still possible, many people always think negatively and feel they might fail but we should look to the future, a more positive, profitable and successful thing.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: February 15, 2021, 05:23:52 PM
Mate, please don't pretend like you don't know what really happened. If Elon Musk wouldn't have tweeted about it, Doge would never ever cross even 30 sats and that's the truth. His influential tweets are actually tests that he's probably conducting over many crypto enthusiasts who unthinkably follow this guy even without considering the possible outcomes of such trades in near future and the pump and dump proved it that Doge is literally worthless meme coin and nothing more than that. Yeah, it had been there for years because many gambling sites allow it as an alternative to let their users save big on fees.
I think if Dogecoin didn't have Elon Musk's article, another and similar news will emerge, even without any other sign, Dogecoin can still rise like it is now, you are not the first to say that Dogecoin has no value and is only used to reduce transaction costs, a lot of people have talked about this, even believing that Dogecoin never has a place in the future. But the problem here is a tradition every year, random or coincidence, Dogecoin gets its pump and price increases, do not care too high or too low, the important thing is the profit
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: February 15, 2021, 05:05:55 PM
Of course, each person has his own relationship with banks and he has his own answer to the question posed. The average person always takes some kind of home appliances in installments, takes a house on a mortgage, receives a salary or pays bills to public and private companies, and all this happens with the help of a bank, and at the same time all these factors connect a person with not one bank, but with many.
Although in order to become independent from the banking system, you first need to gain independence from the state.
And finally, the answer is still not possible when we are living in a country and relying on that country to live and thrive, living independently with them is just the way that we destroy our career path and the relationships we have, one won't be able to go too far, that's what I often hear. Next, banks are the center of transactions in a country, almost all of our assets need the presence of banks, even when we are in difficult circumstances, they can become resources to help us, if we live without banks, resources to sustain life will not appear
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UBER will start to transact with Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2021, 04:49:05 PM
If cryptocurrency keep on growing at this pace it's just inevitable for company like Uber to accept cryptocurrency as alternative payment method. After all, they always trying to expand their user base and keep on increasing their profit and there's definitely no harm in adding cryptocurrencies into their payment method selection. It's like how when Internet appear and some company trying to digitalize their service, it's how a company more specifically that's on tech like Uber adapt to the development of our society otherwise they gonna be considered obsolete.
Seriously, I think Uber has a hard time expanding its base and market with crypto or bitcoin when the government has always had a special interest in bitcoin, it is forcing the government to come up with new policies because many people are laundering money and evading personal income taxes from national scrutiny. Besides, bitcoin is still not stable and too popular, the connection between Uber and bitcoin will sometimes appear quite a lot of errors, very dangerous for Uber and users when bitcoin is a huge asset right now.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: People paying $1200 for 1 Ethereum are crazy... You only get rich buying CHEAP on: February 15, 2021, 04:34:39 PM
For some people it is expensive to buy Ethereum at 1800$ but if you see eth price over 2500$ in few months, then you will consider 1800$ price cheap.

Think of it in another way, when Eth was 1200$, many people would not buy it considering it is expensive but those all people will buy bags of eth at 1200$ now because 1200$ seems so cheap now.
Agree, when people start to be an investor or a trader, they always have the basics of the market, know what the price point is right to buy and sell, some people may think that the price of $1200 is high to buy but others have a better perspective, they believe that eth can reach $2000, $3000, there is nothing too crazy in this story, this is a market without restrictions, as long as people keep the hype and bitcoin doesn't ruin the game, ethereum can still rise. But to be sure, a trader or an investor needs to analyze and know where to stop, each one will be per opinion and analysis
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: February 14, 2021, 03:58:19 PM
If you ask now is certainly not the right time to buy it. I think people don't want to be trapped in a time of high prices like these. myself when I am bullish now prefer futures trading. this can benefit quickly. we use technical scalping for maximum results and have stop losses. instead of having to invest in altcoins which are currently in an uptrend. 2017 becomes a lesson for me not stuck fomo market
If I were you, I would not encourage you to enter futures trading when you should look at the growth and fall of the market, the percentage is very high for bitcoin and altcoins and just one mistake, you will burn your balance even if you only use a low leverage, futures trading is only suitable when the market is stable and relatively volatile, not FOMO as it is now. Right now, we should just wait or put some money into altcoins that have not yet risen, don't touch the rockets that go up high
1034  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: February 14, 2021, 11:58:04 AM
Did you actually figure what will occur if each individual quit paying assessments to the government?. Ever think about how our nation create? also, the police who shield us from the crooks are getting paid ?. These all due to our taxes. The government use taxes to build up the nation on the off chance that it gets poor, at that point, you won't ready to live. Banks are exceptionally needed in our life actives if you stopped using the bank then you won't able to pay your bills. I totally disagree with your posts.

I think not too many people agree with this post when we all feel that the methods he comes up with are so selfish and stingy, he only knows about personal interests and doesn't care about other people's lives, he might get rich through these methods but in the end, he is just the loneliest. However, the rate that he can get rich is very low when the government controls too much of the income, he can hardly evade taxes, the bank is also a common utility, he cannot live without it, he may oppose principles but strong principles and powers will force him to obey
1035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: February 14, 2021, 11:42:03 AM
A successful trader is the trader who can make money and get REKT less frequently. The technical analysis is not as important as you mentioned in the first post, the combination of fundamental, technical, sentimental analyses are very important for being successful in trading.
But only a few people could manage to do it and that is a reason why many who tried trading will fail. I may not call myself a successful trader as I don't have any impressive results to show and I only have limited knowledge in TA but the good thing is that I was able to make money by just using my guts and relying on the candlestick.

maybe there is a thing I need to improve but as the situation given to us, and that I feel confident to continue by using what I learn base on my experience, I think this was enough.
I would love your comment because you are an honest person when you talk about your experiences in trading, you accept yourself as a very ordinary trader and nothing stands out, talk about limitations but in return, you keep growing on that experience, I believe you will soon become a successful trader while others talk about techniques, very common problems, they never succeed and what they say is just theory. If someone asks me about this question, I can only say that they need to create their path, the surrounding experience is just the basis for the development, not the path they need to take
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cvc,Cardano or Polkadot? on: February 13, 2021, 03:49:06 PM
The best bet would be put majorly on the DOT. it's not just about DOT you need to properly understand what dot ecosystem is as a whole and what they are trying to achieve.
Polkadot is probably the name people are focusing on this year as it is constantly providing information and preparing for new upgrades, a very positive result for this news is that Polkadot's value has increased very rapidly recently, perhaps this year will be the trend of DOT. The other two names are also quite prominent but both seem to be just following the market trend, it is difficult to break the trend like Polkadot, so I also bet on Polkadot but of course, I am still waiting, waiting for an adjustment to enter, the price is now too high for me to accumulate
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC were to permanently freeze at one price , would you buy ? on: February 13, 2021, 01:53:00 PM
So let's say BTC was to be absolutely frozen from here on at todays price ,would you still buy?

I don't think BTC was intended as the speculation tool it has turned into .

Who on here regularly makes purchases using BTC ?

Nobody would ever buy BTC,if Bitcoin was a stablecoin.Price volatility makes the market liquidity of Bitcoin.
What's the point of buying an asset with a stable price?Would be buy stocks,if their prices were stable?
Nobody can say whether or not Bitcoin was intended to be a speculation tool.We have to ask Satoshi Nakamoto,if he is still alive.

I think people will still buy but bitcoin will no longer be the center of interaction, we can see how USDT is doing in the market, if bitcoin is frozen at one price, it will become the second USDT in the crypto market and no one is trying to hold bitcoin too much when its value will not be as profitable as you say. However, this story is relatively only in our imagination when Bitcoin's volatile range is still very large and showing no signs of stopping, many investors have started adding money, it definitely won't freeze when the trigger is still too much
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: February 13, 2021, 01:34:42 PM
most people only predict to be $1, it's too high it feels THERE to reach $10 but anything can happen in this cryptocurrency world
A few days ago, I also thought that anything is possible with crypto, especially in an era where the economic situation is not so optimistic, almost people are pouring money into online investments, stimulating crypto market but the capitalization seems to be focusing heavily on bitcoin, we can see how the value of bitcoin has increased in recent weeks. Altcoins have only increased marginally and when the capitalization is focused solely on bitcoin, the ADA has little chance of going up to $10, the supply is too large need a lot of capitalization but the market cannot supply enough
1039  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: February 12, 2021, 04:02:43 PM
For me, it's a big threat since the government can not boycott bitcoin's locale so they make something comparative of it. They can control their own advanced money which means they ready to control the cost. Nobody needs to pay profoundly charges to the government. In the event when government imagines that utilizing digital currencies is useful then why not acknowledge the bitcoins. We can not trust the public authority since they're against the bitcoins

Maybe a threat but I'll call it a little threat.

Big investors of bitcoin knows that a digital currency a government creates are more faster and cheaper compared to bitcoin transactions, but you know why they are still investing in bitcoin, because they see more importance of bitcoin than just a digital currency, it can be a good reserve as this gives good value of your money since it's limited in supply and it's not controlled by the government.

People came here not to brag how fast bitcoin is, they came here to say how fast they make profit investing in bitcoin.
Exactly, we might even consider this a major threat because the purpose of governments creating digital currencies is that they are looking to update the market trend, digital currency investors are too many, tax losses and money laundering are too great, the government needs to reset these numbers, they don't want investors to go underground without their permission, they want everything to be made public. But if Bitcoin is too popular as it is now, the government's plan will go bankrupt and the best way is to get rid of bitcoin's market, a huge threat to the future
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 12, 2021, 02:17:52 PM
...
So what will make us win? we must Know our team and also " The Opponents" this means we must be an expert in the whole process from our team and every team that they will be facing each time.

That is another thing that gamblers or bettors should also look at, how would the other team perform. I don't think we don't need to be that kind of expert to win most of our bets, there are a lot of angles we could into and if you are a fan of the sport, you have a huge advantage. But, that also falls to what you are saying.

Every team has different performance every game and that is the same with other player that could snowball the games they are playing.
Our understanding of a sport and a team will give us more data to analyze and place bets on but as you say, we still cannot be proactive and control everything, luck still prevails and makes more decisions, considering more about match-fixing matches, our understanding won't help much. In addition, thinking like an expert, analyzing too much just makes us step closer and deeper into the world of gambling and when everything has accumulated enough, a gambling addiction will be created
