1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 04, 2022, 11:59:35 PM
We can't do anything about it but just to trust the process and Chot with his way of coaching it, hopefully, there could be some miracles for Gilas.

Yes, no choice but to support instead the whole Gilas team whoever or whatever the lineup, coaching staff, and anything.

But it's good to support something that we really see improving and changing. They should also hear the people's stand related to it.

If his team does not qualify for the playoffs, then how can you expect they'll do better in international competition? Gilas are probably composed of lots of TNT players because he is the coach, so I don't see the team being a quality team to be competitive enough against the big and more agile teams.

That's not a good comparison, mate.

TNT suffers a blow at this conference and that impacted their rally. Injuries, consistency of import, Mikey Williams drama, etc.

Gilas is also not just composed of TNT players that's why it's not appropriate to have a conclusion like that.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 04, 2022, 11:58:59 PM
Now I don't know if this kind of performance will impress Inoue or will still be willing to take Casimero as potential opponent in 122 lbs or go right away for the champion in this division if ever he wins this fight against Paul Butler next week.

Maybe it doesn't catch Inoue's attention but surely he is impressed with how Casimero fought in that match. Akaho is something, not a level-type fighter that's why Inoue maybe considered that fight as just a usual fight and had no bearing on him.

Although, we hope in the future that someday, the supposed fight between Inoue and Casimero will now finally take place.

For now, let's wait for the result of this match that's already predictable by 99.9%.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino on: December 04, 2022, 11:56:37 PM
OP just maybe have a bad run during its gambling session that's why he ended up losing on all of those.

Even if OP will try reputable gambling sites here, it doesn't mean a winning experience is a sure thing to happen.

Looks like OP doesn't know the real meaning of "gambling".
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 04, 2022, 11:55:25 PM
I don't think that we should avoid already a site that has no ANN thread. You can't apply that argument to fiat online casinos where in the first place, there's no discussion place about them or we will see them at other forums with gambling sections.

A reputable gambling site, either a fiat casino or a crypto casino surely has great reviews if we did research when we consider using them.

As long as every review we will encounter about that site that has no ANN thread, we should be good to go. But if not sure, then stick with those reputable gambling sites here that have an ANN thread.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 04, 2022, 11:52:03 PM
We all feel bad for Casimero because as you have said he put everything in training just to get back on this track for his career. But Akaho doesn't want to take the chance to get knockout in his own country so he just take the best route for him.

I think we shouldn't feel bad for Casimero as even though that fight turned out bad, he shows the world that he can still dominate his opponent even inactive for a year. I'm sure Casimero catch the most boxers' attention in the 122 lbs as they are now next in line. I'm also sure that Casimero's next fight will be against a much more popular boxer compared to Akaho.

This is the start now of his new path and he should just need to continue winning every match.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: December 02, 2022, 11:59:25 PM
Yes, this is what I'm trying to say, they really wanted to outdo each other and even though they are not facing each one directly, but in their separate fight we can see the quality of opponents and who has the better one, and obviously in this case Spence has better opponent in Keith Thurman, although someone can argue that Thurman might not be in his prime anymore, he lost to Manny Pacquiao already. But still though, Thurman can still fight and pull the trigger and might give Spence a good fight if they meet somewhere next year.

Agree with. Keith Thurman is no doubt a much more competitive boxer compared to David Avanesyan.

In terms of everything, it is clear that Spence is fighting a considered one of the big fish and not comparable to Crawford's opponent, Avanesyan. Though we can't just underestimate Avanesyan as he even said that his fight against Crawford is not an easy fight for Bud for fans that understand boxing. I'm not sure how he ended up saying that statement lol.

Either way, I hope that both Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. will win their respective fights to open up a chance again for another possibility of their showdown that is now several years in the making and now becomes still far from being a reality even if it was almost close to happening this year.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 02, 2022, 11:56:16 PM
Does anyone know here where we can actually watch it "LIVE"? If there's any, advance thank you to those who will share.

I'm not sure if some streamers or users on Facebook will consider streaming that fight on LIVE since it's not a big fight to consider.

But since it's Casimero, maybe there will be some PH users that will try to share live content of that fight.

If it's just fine for you to watch the live content with lots of annoying ads or banners on the video, then try to search for "Casimero vs Akaho Live" on Facebook search once the fight is now taking place. Not a good live stream experience but that can be your option. Better than nothing.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 02, 2022, 11:53:07 PM
For sure they are already formulating ways and methods on how to beat up Inoue just like any other fighters out there which it is really just a normal approach or concept that you would be finding ways on how to defeat your opponent.

I agree that Paul Butler's side already formed a strategy that they can use against Naoya Inoue.

But if we have to think on our own about some strategies that Paul Butler should do, I can't think of a way on how these proposed strategies can be totally applied effectively since Naoya Inoue doesn't seem to have a weakness and if there's currently a Bantamweight boxer that can expose it.

The only time Inoue shows struggling in his career is against Nonito Donaire in their first match. He got serious damage in that fight but guess what, he was still able to get back on his rhythm even struggling, and dominates the later rounds and claimed his victory. What I'm saying here is, there's no reference that Butler's camp can look at to form a possible effective strategy against Inoue.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 02, 2022, 11:48:05 PM
He cant never have those pro fight considered that he had already retired.
Manny Pacquiao Retires, Saying ‘My Time as a Boxer Is Over’

Just like those retired boxers or legends then they are really just making themselves get involved with exhibition fights which is similar to this.
Fight counts arent official or cant be counted which is a usual thing.

That statement and decision from Manny Pacquiao are way back in September 2021 when around that time, he is currently aggressively active in his Presidential campaign for the 2022 Presidential Election in the Philippines and almost all his time was dedicated to it. Not enough focus on boxing led to one of the reasons why he got defeated by Yordenis Ugas in the same year.

After losing the election, Pacquiao shows interest in boxing exhibition matches starting this year. There is a series of interviews where Manny still shows interest to return to the ring and come out from retirement now that he is now more free time and is away from busy politics.

Just a few months or weeks ago if I'm not mistaken, Pacquiao said in an interview that he is interested in facing the winner of the supposed fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence which we all know didn't materialize. Not saying Pacquiao will come out of retirement but I'm sure he's not really decided to retire at 100% at this point.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 02, 2022, 11:35:11 PM
It's been clear as the sky that in your place, the gambling law is not enforced strictly that's why underage can still enter gambling establishments. Since they are customers, these operators won't mind if they are underage since I'm sure in the first place, there's no required verification that is needed upon entering that casino.

Will you just wait for these gambling operators to now become strict when it comes to prohibiting minors at casinos?

Why not consider doing directly the best solution which is right at the home? Parents or guardians should be responsible enough to know their minor's activity.
1031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning how to code in order to automate trading strategies, is it worth? on: December 02, 2022, 11:30:21 PM
Basically, for learning purposes, learning to code or anything related to programming will be a good added knowledge to your vocabulary. It means it will surely be worth your time as it might possibly help you too in your chosen career in the future, not just for trading activity and related work. Learning to code is a bit tough and the ability to learn and understand all programming languages is not for everybody. That's the reason why work related to it was associated with a high salary, in most cases.

But if we talk about trading strategies, there's a chance that what you or your program can generate, might not be effective as the market is speculative. The said program though can give those possible scenarios that will happen and that's the time we can create a set of strategies for each of those given scenarios.

I think a usual trading bot is not designed to generate trading strategies but rather to execute an action in real time once a certain condition is met that is set by its users. Therefore, the trading strategy still came from the user and the bot just followed a command.

If you will able to make such a program that can automate some trading strategies and execute the best strategies based on its AI analysis, that is something a game-changer although since the market is speculative, a chance of losing is still possible.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Unconventional Betting Strategy on: December 01, 2022, 11:59:25 PM
How does it minimize your losses anyway? I agree to the other points but not on this one. You will equally be getting/doing the same number of bets if you're alone anyway, just not the amount of money you put in. Unless if your friend is some kind of a god or some sort in sports betting that is. It only helps you pool your money for better payout, spend more time in decision making and that's it, risk of losing remains the same.

Maybe because they are sharing money with their friends to form a large capital to be used on their betting session, there's no need to pull up another extra cash to chase those possible losses. They are satisfied now with their combined bankroll and have no need to add more in case of loss.

But I think if their previous bets lose instead, they might have that feeling to chase those losses and they will soon use their extra own cash to make another round of bets. But since OP and his friends are lucky because of their shared strategies, they are now currently enjoying some profits.
1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when trading gives you heart problem. on: December 01, 2022, 11:59:00 PM
We know that the market is dynamic,as in it changes constantly, and as such,an investor who isn't careful enough to know when he is investing will fall in to heart problems or emotional trauma as a result of a massive fall in value, that is why it is important to condition your mind in a way that you won't get heart failure when you are at the loosing end.
Every investor knows there is risk in the game, and taking the risk is what shows you are ready to eradicate poverty from your life.

No choice but to become strong despite losses. We can't control what's happening in the market that's why we always need to be ready.

Crypto-trading is really not for weak hearts and there are lots of risks here that might result in a worst-case scenario for some people.

Before engaging, people should truly understand first how risky trading is and try their best not to lose in most cases.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto exchagnes regain users trust with PoR? on: December 01, 2022, 11:57:06 PM
Honestly, we can't really do something about it if exchanges won't show proof of their reserve following the crash of FTX.

This is something that we can't demand on big exchanges.

What to do now? Follow the basic rule of thumb where just use the exchange service and don't make it your personal wallet to store your funds.
1035  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: December 01, 2022, 11:55:18 PM
Hi. I'm a newbie and I'm just learning about this topic. There are many questions that I would like to understand, maybe this one has already been discussed, but I didn't find the thread, sorry. How reliable is Bitcoin, what will it be if someone will generate a new blockchain or another digital currency, will it make bitcoin fall down, and how fast?

That question can't be answered with an accurate response.

But you don't need to confuse yourself about how reliable bitcoin is. Rather than explain every inch of detail on why you should not worry about the possible fall of bitcoin, I advise you to just continue being involved in crypto for you to understand slowly that you have lots of reasons to believe that Bitcoin can't be replaced that easily by these new coins.

Please enjoy your stay and be serious about learning things about bitcoin in general.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: November 30, 2022, 11:59:07 PM
I'm not into games where animals are involved because for me, they also deserve to live and they don't have to sacrifice their lives for our selfish desires but we can't stop these gambling games because they are already part of our culture.

That's what others don't understand and they will just stick with their loving the animals' stuff and being an animal patriot.

If they don't like that game, these people don't have to say "stop this game" but rather respect other countries' beliefs.

There are lots of worst cultures out there compare to cockfighting. People should not stress themselves if they don't like this type of gambling game.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 30, 2022, 11:58:27 PM
Lucky for Spence, Manny Pacquiao had exposed Thurman during their fight.

And because of that, Thurman now changed and learn his lesson from it. Fighting Pacquiao changes him into a much more responsible boxer. That mistake he did in that fight won't surely be repeated again against Spence.

On the other hand, I doubt Spence, with his caliber, will depend on that fight to find an advantage against Thurman.

Spence is not like that and he will pulverize Thurman in his own way without referring to his opponent's previous fights.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful where you connect your wallet on: November 30, 2022, 11:55:39 PM
Technically, your funds can't just be stolen easily if you just connect your wallet.

Not unless you provide your private keys, passphrase, or anything that can open up and access your wallet, you will be doomed.

Maybe you are also infected with malware and related stuff. Next time, be vigilant as our wallet safety depends on our own.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet stops support for XRP, ETC, XLM and BCH on: November 30, 2022, 11:52:58 PM
It makes sense though to delist something that is not really in heavy usage.

Just can't imagine how "low" the usage is especially for XRP which I think still has good volatility these days and trading volume is good.

Regardless, I think Coinbase should also do some email notifications to notify their users. I said this because as a Coinbase email subscriber, I received no email about that. I'm sure not all users are used to reading announcements on their websites.
1040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: November 29, 2022, 11:59:39 PM
Hard to speculate on something especially the bitcoin price but to answer the subject, I don't see any changes from today's price to what will be the price next month. Crypto-market is still in the effect of the long-term bitcoin bear market and the recent issue involving the FTX, it contributes more to the possible long-term extension of the ongoing bear market.

With that said, I don't think there will be a sudden rally and this situation will remain at least until the end of the 1Q next year.

Again, just speculation.
