1023  Local / India / Re: [2017-06-22]On Bitcoin, India's Government And Tech Companies on: June 22, 2017, 03:02:12 PM
he Bitcoin craze is catching on in India. While tech geeks and young investors eye the digital cryptocurrency as its value soars, the government, too, is contemplating a course of action surrounding its regulation.

In a move expected to boost financial inclusion, the Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance in India has formed an inter-disciplinary committee to examine the framework on virtual currencies. (It is expected to share its findings next month.) In addition, the government initiated a discussion on its forum MyGov to seek public opinion on virtual currencies. Clearly, despite some initial reservations, the Indian government is keen on understanding how Bitcoin works and is willing to deploy resources to build frameworks.

After seeing that country like, Japan and Australia are taking steps to accept bitcoin, now India are also moving towards bitcoin to make it legal currency
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the future of the crazy ICO market? on: June 22, 2017, 01:26:57 PM
I personally try to stay away from ICO's as much as possible, but that's just a preference.
Only investing in coins that are truly open and decentralized, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin etc.

I mean, investing in an ICO could work out for you, but I prefer the other approach.

It was before that investing in ICO wont give you good returns on listing day but now a days ICO are coming with full details and when this ICO are launced in exchange they do trading very good and returns are more then 5x but after some time they start to dump so it is good to just sell of in launch date and as soon as they are dumped fully you can start buying back for long term.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any disadvantages if too high fee? on: June 22, 2017, 01:26:34 PM
currently the fee is around 2usd for priority, there is a ICO that I want to participate in, if I pay 10usd as fee I get first in line in mined block to guarantee participation?

is there any disadvantage with having 10usd fee, maybe the transaction get cancelled?

any difference playing 2usd fee, 10usd fee, 100usd fee?
the biggest fee gets first into the mined block?

It is true that paying high fees means your transaction gets confirmed very soon, with little bit of delay, but if you are paying low fee then you can use ViaBTC facility to accelerate your transaction so that it will get included in next block.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy or Wait for the biggest dump of Ethereum on: June 21, 2017, 10:59:43 PM
Ether is down almost 0.0125 btc or 10% down. please tell me if this a good time to buy or wait for the lowest pick thank you for answer

It's mostly a correction but consider that there are lots of people that are involved in ethereum mining based on the hardware market where there are lots of requests buying the motherboards, GPUs, PSUs. If you want to sell then I would advice to hold but if you need to buy then it's not a bad moment to buy as the price has been dropped a lot.

You are right, this may be a correction, but there is also speculation elsewhere that coinbase has been hacked.I dont think it is true, but there is some dumping of eth right now prompted by this rumour.

From coinbase; Investigating - We're investigating an issue with Ethereum sends and receives on the Coinbase platform. All Ethereum transactions will be delayed in the meantime. We appreciate your patience while we work towards a resolution.
Jun 20, 16:08 PDT

Other reasons could be the current congested network and outages because of extensive traffic.

actually this was long waited correction as the price went so high and who ever bought in low was to book profit but in that time coinbase rumour came and it crashed more then what correction was expected. but now the market is getting back to normal and the price is rising up.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 21, 2017, 09:51:20 PM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

I think it can be done with many ways. One is to work and earn via bitcoin, but I don't think many are interested in that. So the probable choice would be bitcoin/altcoin trading. If they are lucky enough and smart enough, they can earn a good living with that.
Bitcoin has touched its value to the most height. it's good for all kind of people and now in a lot of Markets it is acceptable and it's a good source of income. it is really a great opportunity for traders to trade through Bitcoin. its now making good money for traders due to high marketing price. some people are investing money in Bitcoin and wants to get a good profit. online job is also a source of income now, so no doubt Bitcoin is now high-level cryptocurrency and a good source of income.
bitcoin has still too much potential and i think it is a good source of income because bitcoin s giving us so many opportunities to use to make from it.

But i think this forum is giving lot of options to earn through bitcoin will lot of tasks where you can earn free bitcoins by giving your skill work and joining bounty and earn bitcoins and other altcoins
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: June 21, 2017, 09:48:54 PM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

I store my Bitcoin in different gambling site and different trading site. I used them in trading site whenever i see a potential new crypto to trade with, and i used my stored Bitcoin in Gambling site when they have new promos or competition, This way i save a lot of transaction fee.
to store your bitcoins in gambling sites is really risky, because it is really very difficult to prevent yourself from playing gambling and specially if you have already put your money in gambling. i always like to store my bitcoin in online wallet i always feel my bitcoin more secure.

Even online wallet are also risky as if the online wallet stop the service then what will you do so it is better to store you bitcoin in desktop or hardware wallet where you are owning the private key of your address.
1029  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will Bitcoin will be declare as legal or not ? on: June 20, 2017, 10:41:53 PM
iNDIA  declaring bitcoin as legal is not possible at this time till some country implement it and prove the positive sides they wont take risk and in India the government is corrupt so they wont give bitcoin legal status until they find it profitable for them.
1030  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Anybody affected by wannacry on: June 16, 2017, 10:11:10 PM

1032  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 16, 2017, 09:55:57 PM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
Just holding them, i personally will not selling my bitcoin at least in this period since i trully believe that the price will be skyrocket in this year, it's ok if you want to sell them in order to get profit but don't you know that the price will be up in the future? so i think it will be better if you save them for long term investment and don't forget to buy more when the price goes down. Well I would never convert all of my bitcoins into another digital currency even though the price crashing down.

I am with you , i am also holding my bitcoins and i have faith on this coin that this will go more high. their is always fluctuate in price of bitcoin but after correction the price moves high and goes for next ATH.
1033  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is down too on: June 15, 2017, 03:53:32 PM
Every thing went down, this is expected. The prices went up too fast and it does not reflect what it should be. It was a small bubble that popped and now this is the correction. Though if you look at the history of bitcoins, this is normal and it has happened plenty of times in the past. So when this happens consider this as a opportunity to buy.

What you are telling true but for that who ever is having account in coinbase and their amount is stuck with that site then how can they buy now when the price is down and it is a good time to buy bitcoins but the site is down.
1034  Local / India / Re: Indian exchanges to trade ethereum! on: June 15, 2017, 09:26:30 AM
Easy way is to buy BTC and exchange to eth on kraken.
No KYC needed for BTC - ETH trades.

If i am not wrong still Kraken exchange is also asking KYC and lot of documents to open the account in their exchange and after it get approved you can be able to trade their. As this is my own personal experience and have left that exchange due to this.
1035  Local / India / Re: I want to buy a/your bitcointalk account! on: June 15, 2017, 09:21:42 AM
Buying Bitcointalk forum accounts are not recommendable as their are so many scammers who will scam you even then also it is not recommended to buy it as if anyone DT member know it they will tag it with negative trust. So better start to post and wait for some time and you will itself become high rank member.
1036  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Miner from maharashtra on: June 15, 2017, 09:04:41 AM
Great to hear me from you. I am also from MH near to KOP, Doing cloud mining. ANd aslo doing trading for last three years.

Have great experience. Very few marathi people are in business of cryptocurrency.
Do you really do CLOUD MINING.
i think most of them are ponzi sites.
Can i know which site do you use for cloud mining and from when are you using it?

Basically I am using Genesis and hashflare for cloud mining.

Also I am doing cloud mining with minergate. Planning to got for high efficiency machine which can support more algorithms.

If i am not wrong what cloud mining you are using (Genesis and hashflare) are not recommended as they both are scam and till now no one have reached the ROI and their are so many scam thread on them where they  have denied payment to the users and even blocked their account.

Cloud Mining is a scam , their is no cloud mining which is paying it correct and they are not still running for long time.
1037  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Buying Ethereum (ETH ) Paying Indian Rupees ( INR ) on: June 15, 2017, 09:00:00 AM
Hi,

I am looking for ethereum and can pay via bank transfer, NEFT, IMPS, or may be Paytm.

You go first.
As per my bank i need to add your account as payee and it take 24hrs to get added. So upfront can send bank details and after 24hrs you can send fund and confirm.Once it get add instant fund transfer.

or paytm can be instant.

Who told that for sending the payment it takes 24 hrs , now you can send the payment immediately through IMPS it is very fast. and you are asking the seller to go first , what reputation you have here that you think that the seller will send you first payment , what if you just run away after receiving the coins.

So it is better to go for escrow or else i dont think you will get any sellers.

1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The king is already dead. on: June 15, 2017, 08:52:08 AM
Bitcoin, Ethereum and the alts are all part of the same economy. If Bitcoin falls, the rest will too. If Ethereum falls, it will take a lot of tokens with it.

Here's hoping that the scaling debate will soon be resolved, so that small transactions get viable again.

Ya it is true that the main popularity of Ethereum was from the so many new altcoins which started to use ETH platform for their project apart from that their is no much use of ETH. But bitcoin have got all features and it is used in all field. only the transaction delay and high fees is the problem and miners are the main culprit who are causing this problem if not what solution is available they are not accepting it.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: June 15, 2017, 08:42:00 AM
