1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: July 29, 2013, 03:54:19 PM
Errm, why does this thing close immediatly for me?
64Bit W8 Pro, launched normal, and every other option but closes upon opening...

EDIT: Okay, I made a .bat, but now it "Has stopped working" upon launching...
am I missing something?
Also, what do you guess a good number for a Phenon ii x4 965BE (@4.3Ghz if that matters), I currently have it at 2.000.000.0.

EDIT 2: I think I found the problem, if you don't define a Pass/Udername, it crashes, I'm going to make an account on ypool for a minute..

EDIT 3: SHE's ALIVE! ~32.000 PPS, is that alright for my CPU?
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is now dead. r3wt snuck in a premine and scammed the community on: July 29, 2013, 03:49:18 PM
You've got to be kidding me, r3wt is plainly stealing because he was mad he sold his services for 0.4 BTC. he literally has no excuse for expecting any sort of sympathy. That's like a thief asking for forgiveness after being caught riding a stolen bicycle because he wants to become a race-car driver.
Seriously, just give back the stupid 0.4 BTC. I mean really man, that's like $40 dollars in the current market. You're going full retard by saying that they shouldn't of expected you to make a shitty product because you offered a low price.
He's gone double-full-retard, Wtf...
This coin could have been a succes.
1023  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: CGWatcher/Miner starts, CPU voltage drops??? Why??? on: July 29, 2013, 02:25:50 PM
shutting down after about 10 min tells me the power supply is borderline not powerful enough, its possible you could disable things on your motherboard and underclock cpu to get it to work but i still wouldn't recommend it as you don't want to run your psu at 100%. the power usage on the cards is creeping up when they reach operating temperature and also the psu heating up will cause the maximum power available to decrease
120% true
Here it stats at 320W, but after an hours she hangs on 360W, combined with wear and heat, the maximum power that the thing can deliver goes down, and you DON'T want an PS running 100%, keep 80% as the max.

And for the love of god don't OC a CPU in a mining only rig...
1024  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sbregar97 tried to scam me on: July 29, 2013, 02:01:45 PM
It was, didn't scam anyone, we can clear this deal if you want OP.
As I said before I confirm the listing I make sure the card is still redeemable by Amazon live chat.
Codes are stored on my USB.

Anyways, OP PM or post on the bitmit and we can resolve this.

Sure, we can resolve this.  How about you give me my money back, and you stop reselling codes of untrustworthy origin?
I feel sorry for you...
But seriously, BULK Buying 200$ cards from amazon, I have never seen any 15 year old with that much spare money...
And I am sure he got his gift cards from google: XxFree amazon gift cards generatorxX, no any survies ore eniething!
Tongue Just trolling, I hope he resolves this ASAP.
1025  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CAUTION!!! SCAMMER ON BOARD! on: July 29, 2013, 01:53:49 PM
It would be a hole lot easyer to read if no caps, but thanks for the warning...
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Pick your favorite Alt-Coin! on: July 29, 2013, 12:45:16 PM
Holy crap!
I remember when there only was Bitcoin when I discovered all this, and then 2 months after Litecoin came, and I saw how easy it was to mine it, made me a shitton of coins Smiley

18x xeons?  Shocked Shocked
He probably has 30% of the total Primecoin speed...
He'd be lucky to have 0.1%...
Uhm, okay, my mind was somewhere else...
1028  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How long has your GPU lasted mining 24/7? on: July 28, 2013, 08:06:35 PM
7970 Asus DirectCU II lasted 14 months (mining, and some gaming time). One fan was oiled because of noise after 10 months. After 14 months the machine would BSOD every time I logged into windows (with Aero) or launced 3D apps. Was running 1100 Mhz @ 80'C. Awaiting a replacement.
Good thing my HD7850's both have the same big ass DCII and run 1200 mhz core, 45% fan and not above 57 degrees...
1029  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Sapphire Radeon 7950 blown capacitor on: July 28, 2013, 07:51:09 PM
dual-x; 1075/1500; litecoin mining. The temps never got above 80, usually 72-78c.
The dual-x is a piece of shit.
But it should not burn within 2 months, has to be some sort of a malfuction in the cap or low quality what you can expect with those cards...

Thanks!
1033  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Team Holland @ BTCGuild miners on: July 28, 2013, 03:58:51 PM

Nice one.
We don't really care about PPS, since you can have 100k+ and still don't mine anything.
You need like XPM60/day to cover for the electricity bill. Are you really getting that much ?
otherwise he wouldn't be doing it no?

Also, I noticed that Gapthemind is from Spain, and the maybe vdragon IRL both live in spain?
It's from the top of my mind, but I am just posting any leads I can think of, I am not Sherlock Holmes...

Nope not spain, says romania:
Anonymous            1              Spain            GLS                                  0.89             (sepa transfer, btc done)
gapthemind           30            Romania            GLS                              26.7             (sepa transfer)

Oops! Sorry...

if gapthemind is legit and was scammed too, he will help us
by providing the sepa-transfer proof and filing a report to his police too
Sorry for Gapthemind, but I don't really trust him as his name is Mindthegap in reverse and in the OP of the group buy vdragon states "we have to mind the gap, bla bla" That may have an connection with eachother.
Before he gives me trust and proof of what he states, I will trust him somewhat.

His photo is still showing up for me (I've never looked at the page before).  The URL I'm looking at:

http://es.linkedin.com/pub/stefan-darin/39/337/372
That guy looks like a proper Dutch guy, hence his native language is Dutch.
Is it even the person we are looking for?

Quote from: nomnomnom
So it takes a little bit longer, Police -> Courtorder -> Bitstamp gives out data.
It shouldn't go as far as a court order unless Bitstamp refuse to cooperate and the Police deem it suitable enough to seize their server hard drives.

LOLOLOL Then Bitstamp is fucked, they have no choise!

In linkedin the man removed his picture , i am sure it was in his profile two days ago
Someone to confirm this?
I have an idea, in google, can't you use the "chached history" thingy?
